Fun movie theater, super cool retro interior, I will deduct 1 star for the layout. Chance are you will be blocked a bit if the theater is crowded.

The Strand is an exceptional establishment! My son was there for his first ever movie tonight and they offered him free admission and popcorn! We ended up having to leave soon after previews because he was scared of the loud noises, he's only two and a half...on the way out they gave me two free passes to come back and try again another time! I can't say enough good things about The Strand and it's owner!!

Such a cute theater. We brought our kids to see Aladdin while visiting Schroon Lake. The staff were all wonderful and welcoming. It was like we traveled back in time to the days when going to the movies was a grand event. My only issue was I wish being a kids movie they offered an earlier showing, but it is understandable they're not going to change their show times weekly. We will absolutely be going back next time we are in Schroon Lake!!

Neat little nostalgic theatre in schroon lake. You'll want to call ahead or visit their Facebook to see what's playing. Only one screen and one showing per day. Movies usually rotate on Fridays. Costs are pretty reasonable...$9 per person as of this review. Been coming for the past 3 years now and the strand is now a tradition.

This is the cutest place! I went with my sister to see Christopher Robin! I loved the quality of the theater screen and the live piano music before the movie began! Also, it’s more affordable than other theaters!
