Noice
Best movie theater around
From the first night I visited I was tempted to give this place a one star. We were in the middle of watching Ready Player One when a fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate the theater. After about 30 minutes of waiting we were told that we would have to come back another day ( it’s an hour drive) to see the rest of the movie. So of course my father and I were both displeased to say the least, especially because there was no fire and no indication of what set off the alarm. So we come back the next day at the time of the next showing of the movie and speak to the manager. She instantly apologized for the inconvenience, let us see the next showing of our movie for free, gave us two movie vouchers, and complimentary concessions (a large soda). She was polite and apologetic throughout the entire process. The excellent customer service combined with an overall clean and comfortable theater led me to make my final rating.
nice to actually have a big theater in vt
Seating was great! Movie price ok! Medium popcorn and large soda - $14.50? OUCH! Its been awhile since i was at a movie...now it will be longer! Two items cost more than movie ticket!
Best theater around.
Positive overall viewing experience, but it seems like they put more effort into the lobby area than the actual theaters.
Our number 1 choice for seeing movies in Vermont. Prices are on par with other theaters and they provide an excellent viewing experience. The volume does tend to be a bit louder than other theaters, but it's very clean compared to other theaters and that's what brings us back.
Modern theater and clean. Could use more parking.
My favorite theatre in the area... Great seating, polite, helpful, friendly staff, close to restaurants.
It's a nice theater.
I got to see avengers endgame.
Clean good movie selection. Good food nearby too.
Why do the theaters smell so bad? Really. They smell like body oder and popcorn. Nauseating. Other than that, nice restaurants nearby.
Best escalators in the state!
I will never go to majestic 10 again. 1. The website has fandango on it but when I get there to use it they say we don't accept fandango. 2. Not allow to bring purse bag into theatered. Understand they don't want outside food but that is ridiculous. I did by food. 3. I have never been so embarrassed by employees before. THIS THEATER SUCKS. I would give it a negative star if could.
Cinema ok but terrible smell in the auditorium.
Small theaters. Seats are comfortable and rock. But concessions are really ridiculously expensive.
Decent enough food, video quality, sound, etc, but all the theaters smell like a farm.. Go to Essex Cinemas instead.
There's not much for large theaters in the Burlington area. Prices are a little much for the horrible seats here.. for $13 I'd expect comfy seats nowadays. Staff is friendly and the selection of the movies is decent.
Way too EXPENSIVE now. We won't be going again for a very long time. If ever again. Not poor family friendly. Makes it so only rich people can see a movie anymore.
Majestic 10 is one of my favorite theaters to go to. It's always clean and comfortable. It's close to stores and restaurants as well which is always a plus!
Nice place
It's a movie theater. Do you want to see a movie? Because that's all they do here.
Great seating. One of my favorite places to watch movies in the area.
Great time with my daughter
Lovely place in Williston. And i'm a proud Williston resident.
the place was very expensive and i am poor and cant afford anything in the place.
It was great kids could see
the best movie theater in the area - though a tad pricier. They have great, comfortable seating and adequate bathrooms for tons of people after a movie. Their sound system is a little sub par ina few of the theaters.
Good selection of showings and times, clean theaters, average prices, and most importantly, there's sound text actually know how to turn a room!
The nicest movie theater in Chittenden County
Fun nice n clean
I usually have a consistently good experience here. Staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are a bit high but sort of expected for movies. Easy parking near by. Very clean bathrooms. Stadium seating helps a lot with comfort and visibility. Overall, it is probably my top recommendation for a theater in the area.
Probably the best movie theater in upstate Vermont. Well taken care of and cleaned properly. This location has a lot of theaters which allows them to have convenient showtimes and a great selection.
Nice spacious seating. Parking can be difficult.
Not an upper tier movie theater what a pretty good one for Vermont.
Awesome movie theater.
Big movie theater with stadium style seating. The usual assortment of chain theater food and drink - which begs the question - why don't theaters offer other flavors of popcorn? White cheddar popcorn > salty fake butter corn every time
Seats are a bit uncomfortable but the sound quality is great. Projection has great video quality.
I love it here! The food is good, it's very clean, the staff is friendly, and I feel 100% comfortable dropping my daughter and her friends here by themselves to watch a movie.
They play some pretty good movies
Nice and clean fast ticket process.
Great place. Staff is lovely and helpful. Can get crowded.. once a while when there's a super awesome movie... otherwise pretty ok crowd. Taking a star off because the concession stand is a little expensive. A few times I was the only one in the theatre and they still played the movie.. some other people would've cancelled the show instead.
Our go to movie theater! Only issue we usually have is finding good parking.
Decent stadium style multiplex nestled in a shopping complex. Friendly customer service corrected our error in online ordering. Great selection of films.
This is my favorite place to go for a movie
Love this theater. Great value. Great assortment of snacks
Best place to see a movie around
They told me no backpacks and there's a guy and women with backpacks and purses. If they want to enforce the no backpack rule, they should make it so nobody can bring backpacks or purses. Double standards. Never coming back.
Awful service
Seats could be more comfortable
Wonderful as always.
Always has the latest films very clean the pricing is kind of steep especially if you buy food
Nice theater, popcorn was good
This is the second best movie theatre in the Burlington area (#1 is the Essex Cinemas). The one thing it has going against it is the cleanliness of the individual theaters. The sound quality is great!
Easy to get tickets and food. Annoying Commercials before trailers, but otherwise great
Easy to get to, near the highway, & plenty of parking. Love the stadium seating, no one's head is in my way. The interior is very clean and the movies are awesome
Clean, well-maintained, nice staff, good movie selection, great seating, excellent location.
Pricey but a nice theater, good screens and sound systems.
The staff at the counter are on it! It is so very inspiring and refreshing to see employees who are enthusiastic and upbeat. I always am impressed with the speediness and professionalism at this movie theatre.
Great place to watch a show
The theatre I was in smelled horrible ..please clean your carpets more often. Seats were comfortable...
Your average movie theater. The staff here is fabulously friendly and professional!
Very comfortable seats, very clean, nice movie theater.
Nice theatre, wish there was an IMAX. Always clean.
Great movie theater. I came here to see "Star Wars; The Last Jedi", and it was a great experience. The seats were very nice and comfortable, and the screen was quite large. The sound was very good, and so was the picture quality. Good food, but overpriced as expected.
Good acoustics, comfortable theater. No bad seats really.
You can see pixels in their digital projection unless you sit all the way in the back, it's the worst In their largest auditorium where there's also a busted speaker on the left side that vibrates/buzzes very loudly. Each time I see a movie in Theater #1 I hope it's been fixed, it's been over a year and when I saw Halloween it was worse than ever before. When moviepass existed, I just shrugged it off. Now that I'm back to paying full price, I either go to the T-Rex screen in Essex or wait for streaming. Managers say they've never had anyone complain about the speaker the 4 or 5 times I've politely mentioned it to them. Every time I've seen a movie in theater #1 people around me are always asking "What the hell is that noise?". I have better presentation in my living room and I'm borderline poor... plus I don't have to sit through 20+ min of horrible/loud commercials.
It was great!
Large theater with good showing selection. Right off the interstate with lots of good food nearby. This theatre generally shows current releases.
Good place to watch movies.
This theater is nice, but man it's pricey.
Ticket prices are okay, but concessions are high as they are at any cinema. The seats were comfy. The cinema and bathroom were fairly clean.
Great seating and good service
I love this movie theatre! Comfy seats with lift-up arm rests, high backs, and the ability to recline a bit...plus, fresh snacks and nice people...I often choose to travel further just to be comfy and happy here while watching my movie. :)
Very good.
Its adequate, but not the best movie experience or service.. Popcorn is prebagged and need to apply your own butter?!.. how is own suppose to properly layer popcorn then butter to ensure you have good coverage to the last mouthful..
I brought a backpack because I keep my wallet and coat in it and I was told that I couldn't have it even though a female had just gone by and they said nothing about their backpack. Also they never check or say that someone can't have a purse so I rate them as hypocritical and a bad experience.
Nice theater although ticket and snack prices are through the roof it’s a fun theater to relax in. Multiple screens and those “pour the butter yourself” machines for the popcorn. Usually not too crowded so it’s a nice place to wind down and relax!
Always a pleasure!! I ALWAYS would rather drive to the majestic than to go to closer ones..(Montpelier & Barre) better service, more comfortable, better prices!!! Love it!!
One of the two modern theaters in the area.
Fine movie experience. Most of the pre-movie commercials are silent, so the ones that aren't come in at movie volume and are WAAAAAAAAAY too loud. You're advertising a bank; it shouldn't sound like a friggin Christopher Nolan movie
Comfy seats, clean theater, clean bathrooms.
Pretty good for a movie theater in VT, but nothing special.
Best movie theater in Vermont in my opinion. Good prices for popcorn which tastes good, and the theaters are always clean and air conditioned. My only complaint is the speakers are a little bit loud but that's not a huge problem at all. Just an observation.
Nice theater Even the smallest screens are huw
Movies theatre seems to be clean and they are up to date on the movies that are current. Pricey thought if you want to get any snacks or drinks.
Wonderful experience, terrific clean facility, friendly staff.
Great location, comfortable, nice staff, stadium seating.
Prices are a little up there, but service is phenomenal. They frequently run 3d movies here, but always have the option to see them in 2d for those who don't want that. Always very clean, and the theatres are well looked after.
Love this theatre.
Favorite theater in the area. Screens, sound, and seats are pretty good. The popcorn has always been pretty fresh.
Good theaters, sound and visuals. But, concessions pretty expensive!
Large theater complex. Good restroom.
Vermont needs an AmC theater and IMAX it's time for an upgrade.
The food is good but a to pricey
Prices were I guess standard. The Icee drinks, one size were over $6.00. Extortion prices.
Great movie theater. The place was clean, seats were comfortable and generally an all around good place for a movie.
I would give them 5 stars if not for the commercials before the movie. I don't mind movie trailers. I'm talking about The H-team stuff and banks and whatever else. They make more than enough money on ticket and concession sales.
Large facility with games and enough screens to show more than enough movies. Food and theaters are great!
Clean and friendly service. Great location with plenty to do.
Great place to eat and spend time with family
There are two holes on the screen in theatre 9, our seats floor was covered in popcorn n not clear n ed from the previous showing.
Staff is friendly, pricing is good. Clean everywhere. I go there all the time when we go see the movies.
Always a wonderful place to go,we travel 2 hours to go to this theater
Good movie theater and not very busy on a Saturday night. Overall seemed fairly clean, but the seats could use a renovation.
I cant thank majestic 10 enough for finding and keeping my wallet safe! I went to see the Bumble Bee movie with my son and family today. When we got home ( a 45 min Dr) I realized I had left it on the empty seat next to me. The staff was polite and extremely heplful!
Great service.
People that work there are rude. Place makes you pay for seasoning on your popcorn. The bathrooms were disgusting. Not impressed
Great movie theatre and food, although pricey, is the way they make money, not from showing a movie. I love the soft pretzels with cheese.
Roomy seats room for long legs great seating.
Easy to navigate, clean, proper audio/video quality, and unlimited self-serve butter topping for popcorn.
Great theater, but bring your hearing protection. They play the movies LOUD! Measured 99 decibels at some points during the movie, which is near the threshold of permanent damage and too loud for me to go back. Why so loud?
The Majestic Cinema always has the latest films. Seating is comfortable, parking is convenient, and they have a good variety of snacks that can substitute for a meal if you're hungry. There are several good restaurants in their plaza and nearby if you have time for dinner.
Good place to go with the fam.
Nice theatre. Good seats and picture
Very nice comfortable seating and matinees are reasonable.
Comfy seats, prices not too bad.
Expensive (like most theaters are these days).
When I go to see a movie, I expect to be able to see the whole movie without interruptions by the staff. It's not possible at this theater. As soon as the credits start rolling, the lights go up and the cleaning crew arrives, chatting away. It really detracts from the whole experience, especially since movies today often embed extra scenes or teasers into the credits. You should be able to watch the whole film. That's what you're paying for.
They have good movies
Nice theatre. I bit overpriced
Comfortable seating, tickets can be purchased on line, parking available but may require a short walk.
Clean, modern, 3D, 2D I love the Majestic experience!!
Movie sound, video and stadium seating is excellent. Price keeps going up and quality continues to go down. Too many formal paid ads... If the movie is supposed to start at 4pm, the movie previews should start at 4, not 10 minutes of paid ads. Finally they definitely get the prize for the saltiest popcorn!
Good viewing not so great food.
Was a fair place. Good atmosphere
Absolutely love the theater seating and sound quality. But I find it ridiculous that you cannot ask for a receive an empty bag so that you can share a popcorn with a friend. They will not even sell you a second bag. The bags can't be that expensive for the theater that they would be losing out. Then again, a friend of mine had a bag that leaked butter and when he asked for a new bag because there was butter dripping from it he was told, "We can't give you a new bag, they all leak, that's the way they are made." Really?
Love this place!
Possibly the best one in and around Burlington
I love viewing films here when I'm on this side of the lake...The Majestic provides me with some screenings when they're finished in New York ...THANK YOU
Movie was fair..expected more from it. Hobbs and shaw
very clean and many options of films here! Cost of concessions is outrageous though!
I wish you could order Tix through Fandango with this theater. Currently you cannot.
Good place to catch the new movies. Friendly service.
My favorite place to watch a movie in the Burlington area
My husband and I travel 2 hours to come to this theater pretty often. Sound and picture is phenomenal and the staff has always been so friendly. For us, it's so worth the long trip!
Clean theater. Stadium seating. Midnight releases. Plenty of screens. Seats are okay comfort wise. They put up trivia questions before the previews. Con: before the movie, they play a ton of local advertising commercials and not many movies previews.
Movie was good, the fountain drinks nasty they taste like there is mold in the lines the drink syrup and water run through. They need to be replaced, given the cost of the drinks and snacks they must be making money enough to replace these hoses
Very comfortable, good sized seats with arm rests that can be raised. Lots of leg room.
Love the great seating... You can see the screen from just about any seat. My only complaint is the concession stand... Paid over $5 for a small soft drink. Outrageous.
Friendly staff and great viewing experience!
Lots of showings, good hours, children friendly and soda is perfect every time.
Its always crowded. Noon on a tuesday for a movie thats been out for two weeks? Still 30 people in the theatre. Not a place to go for a quiet movie experience.
I couldn't believe that it was over $3 for a small bottle of water when you can buy one for under a dollar in the store.
Thought the snacks were pricey 11
Popcorn is tasty! We all know that's most important! Staff is friendly (especially Marcus!!) and theaters are comfortable. Stadium seating. Seats are getting older and have some wear. Otherwise would have been 5 stars.
Wonderful customer service always lots of seating!
Good for kids birthday party
Friendly staff. Quality theaters. Clean establishment. And a great selection of food! They offer 3D movies and have many movies playing at many different times throughout the day. They also have an area to be rented for parties. A little more expensive then a small town theater but so worth it!
Best theater around. Always great seating.
Fun movie experience
Decent theatre but 12 minutes of ads before the preview is extreme. Before a kids movie it also seemed in poor taste to have PSAs about opiate addiction.
Nice theater.
I took 2, 2 years old to their very 1st movie and they were so excited. When I 1st entered the door, I looked up and I saw the escalator stairs, oh my how am I going to do this. Getting to the top I approached the ticket counter, I purchased i adult and two 2 year old tickets. To my surprise they charged $29, I would have thought that they would have had a discount for 2 year olds. Regardless I asked for a bag of popcorn to make their experience great. A woman handed me a bag of popcorn I asked for 2 small cups so that I could put popcorn in them for the children. She proceeded to explain to me that they do not give out cups. Being a district manager of a restaurant I totally understand that. So I said could I please purchase them and she said no. I was told I could have plastic bags, I explained that I did not want to give a two-year a plastic bag. Obviously this person had no compassion for my situation, so I asked could I please speak to the manager. In a nasty tone she says. I am the manager. GREAT. She walked away from me and went in the back Room. Out came another lady ready to fight and started yelling at me. I turned and walked away shaking in amazement that these people run a family theater. If I wasn't bringing the kids to their 1st movie, I would have left. Came for an amazing afternoon and was confronted with this situation, which could have been handled differently.
Best screens in Vermont... worth every penny
