The Black Box Theatre is a versatile open space theatre that is located in a dynamic space right in downtown Providence. For those who might not know, it is box shaped, and painted entirely black, with a small sound/light station for assisting performances with all sound and light issues. The sound/light booth might be called something else. The Black Box Theatre is a part of AS220, a wonderful spot that supports local artists and the art scene in the city. There is a bar next door that offers decent drinks and snacks. Looking for a space to host an event in the city? Consider this space!
