First time ever in my life, my friend, two women, and I drove to Bennington Cinemas to see UNPLANNED movie; my friend is a RN and I WAS a nurse, too. Fact the fact in the movie of UNPLANNED movie: State of Vermont is extremely LIBERAL and I cannot go to State of VT and NH: Essex JCT VT movie: 3 hours one way and found Rutland and Bennington Cinemas! I choose Bennington Cinemas because ONLY $5 of UNPLANNED movie. Thank you

Old school theater charges old school prices. At $5.00 for a matinee movie ticket, it makes sense for me to drive the 30 minutes across the New York border into Vermont and catch a flick at the Bennington Cinema. The theater houses a handful of auditoriums and they all show first run films. The snack bar is reasonably priced and "manned" by mild mannered Vermont youth who provide actual Customer Service. The theater seats were comfortable, the auditorium was clean and the parking: FREE. I'll make the drive into Benningtin Vermont to see future films. I may even make the Bennington Cinemas my local Capital District, N.Y. Movie Theater of choice.

They have comfortable seats with retractable armrests, perfect for cuddling to a romance or scary movie. Helpful, friendly staff, plenty of parking and clean bathrooms and theaters make for an enjoyable experience time and again. 3D movies are usually available with a 2D option as well.

Luckily Village Picture Shows in Manchester, VT is 20 minutes north, & they are always an inclusive breath of fresh air - they support love & the arts - just what a VT movie theater should! This is a nice small, hometown community movie theater. Prices were reasonable ($5 on Tuesday / otherwise $7.50). The large popcorn ($6.50) & large soda (around $3 I think) gets a free refill! Something you don't usually see at movie theathers! Place wasn't too crowded either. Seats are comfortable & recline! There are also arcade games in the front. Staff were really friendly and welcoming! Would highly recommend coming here!

A quaint little local theater that is enjoyable to visit and a relaxing atmosphere. This cinema has bren around for quite awhile now and is the primary cinema for the Bennington area. The theater rooms are smalling, the speaker systems not as advanced, and the screens not as large as most modern theaters, but where it lacks in size it more than makes up for in ease of access and enjoyment. Also, the snack bar is cheaper than most cinemas and they always have one hotdog on the roller just calling my name.

Cozy atmosphere. Hard to notice from normal traffic but the attendants are helpful, nice and professional. A relatively small theater but you will probably have a wide range of seats to choose from. They offer movie theater butter and regular butter (melted) which is something I've never seen before, personally. I watched three movies here in one week -- that's how much I enjoyed this place!

Small but really great theater. Has all the major releases and tickets are cheap. Popcorn is solid and the choice between movie and real butter is a nice touch. Seats are comfy and the theater is rarely crowded.

I come here often when I want to see a new movie without the crowds or the drive to Albany. Prices are fantastic at less then ten dollars a person and matinees and all day Tuesday at $5. Can't be beat! There isn't any cell service so be prepared for that but you shouldn't be using your phone in the movies anyways so who cares?

Their pricing may be fair and they may be the only theater in town but their complete lack of professionalism leaves much to be desired. I've never seen a situation handled so poorly. You won't find one negative thing on their Facebook page as whoever runs it, deletes them. Poor business practice. Apparently they have something to hide OR they can't own up to their mistakes.

We always enjoy our visit here. The price is fair, the theaters are clean, and the staff is friendly. It's a smaller theater, 7 cinemas, but they generally have good selections. DH appreciates the choice of real or movie theater butter and I like the comfortable seats. I'm not a tiny gal by any means but I fit nicely and some theaters have arm rests that go up. 10/10 would recommend.

Pathetic theater. Tried to see what is playing 5 days from now, google cannot even tell me 3 days in advance. Tried their website, cannot even load. Mind you, any other site in the world loads instantly for me. Called during business hours, no answer. How the hell does this hole in the wall that calls itself a theater stay in business?
