Grateful that the Northwest Corner has this movie venue and supports it.

So refreshing to find a theater that presents interesting movies that stimulate the intellect in a setting that makes you feel the movie's the thing, not the "business" of movies! Kudos to those who keep it going...

James Stedronsky

Great movies minutes away. Going tonight.

Ryan

Great small theatre, offers independent films as well as the occasional blockbuster. Only downside is the seats are a bit dated and for long films become uncomfortable.

Corbin Kappler

Cute little movie theatre.

Great old school theater that is still family owned. It is a bit like going back in time. They have two theaters and a cute little vending area. They actually have real butter for the popcorn .... always a plus. Love the small town feel of the cinema.

Susan Pelletier

Good movies

Old school neighborhood theater that has 2 screens. Shows quality movies. $12 admission price is steep for the old seats. Snacks however are cheap, so overall you spend less than at a modern theater, while sacrificing comfort.

So charming.

Cute small town theatre. Parking can be a chore but worth it. Supporting the small town feels better than going to the big box theatres.

David Smolover

Great movie selection. Independent films and top quality productions.

It is a wonderful, quaint, small-town theater. The best part was the organic popcorn with a crock pot of melted butter with a ladle in it so you could put on as much as you like! Yum!

A great place to see films that don,t show at the Bigger Theaters

What an amazing place to see a movie. An old converted barn. Get there early as the theaters and parking lot are not large (though generally adequate).

Sandra Mahler

Quaint theater with all the amenities.

This is certainly an historic theater and well preserved. The selection of movies is very interesting. Don't go expecting a huge array of sodas and edibles. This isn't that kind of place. The seating was comfortable and the sound system was great. The building was set up to accommodate someone who has mobility issues. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Seats are too hard. You’ll see many good films here which are not screened in larger theaters. If you live locally you are likely to see your friends.

Theresa Fair

Quaint little theatre. Right next to excellent Barbeque place. Perfect spot for dinner and a movie.

The only art house in the area, but thankfully not succumbing to any pressures to "over snootify". Still a country-theater feel, if a bit rough around the edges, and definitely not utilizing much in the line of modern technology to optimize or expedite the purchase process (especially for popular films or busy weekend afternoon showtimes). Nonetheless, you'll be hard-pressed to see many of these titles elsewhere in the state, let alone the region, and Bantam itself is a charming little town to boot.

John Doe

Tiny gem of a theater that shows fairly recent independent films (usually 3-4 weeks after they've premiered in NYC) on 2 screens.

Janice Jacui Robb

Very nice

Small venue and intimate seating!

What a cute movie theater. Little pricey, but the customer service and history of the barn theater made up for it! Must see place!
