The theatre has been a fixture of the community for years. It’s a great place to catch a first run movie, and within walking distance of the colleges and downtown restaurants. Some of the theatre has been modernized but the upstairs screening room has the original (squeaky) chairs and is fairly close to the screen. I guess my only advice is to ask which screen your movie is showing on to avoid that. They have the basic concessions, which is all you really need if you’re dining before the movie, and I think the owners try their best to make it an affordable experience.

This is a good place to go for a movie if you were to ask me. The theater isn't large but there are plenty of seats with good views. The chairs are old and several have broken immediately after I sat in them. The whole place could really benefit from a renovation. The staff members are friendly and the popcorn is pretty good. I usually travel to Potsdam or Watertown for movies but this place works in a pinch
