Here you have all the reviews of people like you who bought the products of LOOK Cinemas (Movie Theater) near Texas.
Right now the business has a score of 4.4 stars out of 5 and the score is based on 1713 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is really good, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can say that the rating is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are happy, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to set feddbacks when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Movie Theater belongs to the category of Movie theater.
The food at Ivy is good and our waitress was sweet, but everyone else there seemed angry to be there. The theater staff wasnt helpful or friendly. Really surprised. Probably wont go back.
Pretty nice cinemas with comfy seats to sit in. My biggest complaint is the charge to buy tickets online.
Best dine in theater food ever....the chicken sandwich is AMAZING!
Went here on our first day in Dallas Nd it was nice you could put your feet up and really relax while enjoying your movies food and drinks also
A little overpriced for the popcorn and drinks, but the theater seating is pretty nice.
Love the theater and the Atmos surround. The chairs recline great, unfortunately the headrest are like boards. No support or cushion. Rather uncomfortable after a little while of sitting. Prices are much better than other theaters. Would rate a 5* if only the seats were more comfortable.
It doesn't look like it, but this is a locally owned theater. It's very polished. A bit confusing, but once you understand which theaters serve the food you want - it's great.
First time here we paid 21.0p for 2 ppl came with comfy love aofa amd foot stools huge screems courteous staff popcorn was fresh and the drinks were also great will be gping back
Great movie theater with it being my first time going. I would go back and I highly recommend everyone do the same
Cool experience but disappointed with food and drink prices.. Very expensive! Be ready to spend big money.. Honestly I would rather go to Studio Movie Bar and Grill..
I like Look. Admittedly I only go to the theatre once or twice a year, but when I do I go there. The seats are great, the popcorn is hot, nothing is sticky. These are my basic theatre requirements and they tick all the boxes. They don't have one of those huge IMAX screens which is kind of a bummer, but otherwise, convenient good place to catch a flick.
This is my favorite theater. I love the couches and the overall layout of this place. It’s always clean with ever-changing movie chalk art decorating the halls. Date night discounts on certain days make luxury a bargain. Keep up the good work!
My absolute favorite theater in Dallas. Clean, amazing food , comfortable seats & great sound.
This was my first and likely last visit to Look Cinemas due to pricing. Why pay 1/3 more to see a picture. The screen size was comparable to any Cinemark theatre and the reclining seats are standard everywhere. The concession prices were outrageous.. who pays $5.75 for a small drink and $7.00 for a small popcorn. Geez.
A great place to sit and relax and enjoy a movie. They have multiple searing options(one of them includes dining). They have a tablet Menu ,which is so cool. Good Service.
Nice place very well taken care of.
Very nice place for two, whether its a date or just friends.
Great sound and video.
Declining quality and value all the way around. Food is expensive and mediocre at best. Beer is served in plastic cups?! Seats are showing wear. And admission is $18 on a Saturday night. Before any food is even ordered Finally they charge an 18% gratuity on all food orders. And ask for your credit card before you actually order. Poor quality customer experience. Go to any Alamo for a better experience at all levels.
Beautiful theatre. My wife loved couch option and we took our daughter here for her birthday and first movie theater experience. Modern decor and design combined with ample parking, pleasant staff and cleanliness made our experience here fantastic.
The sofas are the best, especially for movies with tiny tots.
Better viewing experience then amc that for sure. But the seats are lacking comfort
I was expecting something a bit more relaxful and comfortable. I was seated in the lofts, i didn't like the idea that we had to get up and order food at the bar but i understand there are different theaters that offer different services. Maybe next time our theater will be different. The seats were comfortable though and ferrying the tickets were so simple. Maybe the simplest I've ever experienced! I'll definitely go back
I love this place. Very comfortable seating
Went to 215pm movie yesterday and will not go back until they do away with "unisex" bathrooms. Disgusting that men pee on floor, seats, or don't put seats back down! Women need their own bathrooms! End of story!
The recliner theaters are great. Could not Love them more. But the lofts are not good. The seats are not as nice. It was more filthy Than the others. Look and dine Food was okay. Don’t recommend the Mac and cheese, not cheesy at all, very soupy.
I can't believe I ever went to any other cinema! This place is unbelievable!
Sofas REALLY need a good cleaning, even a basic cleaning would have been an improvement. Movie played with lights on for the majority of the opening. SMH... amateur.
Nice theater. The price for food was out of the park. The food will cost three times what the movie did. Please go eat before you go. Lol
I've only been here once in August of 2017 to see Dunkirk, and I won't ever go back again. I will say the place was very clean, but that's about the only pleasant surprise I had. Evening tickets on a Tuesday for the Look and Dine were $19 a piece. That doesn't include any food or drink. Chairs in the theatre were wide, but stiff overall. The power recliners only partially elevate your feet. Nothing on the menu seemed overly impressive. We got a flat bread and Shiner on draft that came to $24. We saw Dunkirk in standard format, and the theater was not calibrated for sound for that film. You could see the left side of the screen ripple everytime there was a sound effect, and the particularly loud sound effects made the screen ripple in three separate spots. Very distracting, especially in a war film with almost non-stop sound effects. Same some money and go down the road to Alamo or SMG.
Went to go see Captain Marvel. Picking up our ticket reservations was easy, and the staff was very friendly. I looked at the snack bar, but I didn't get anything. Although, the selection seemed very good. The seats were very comfortable reclining seats. Nothing more that I could ask from a movie viewing experience.
I love this place. The theaters themselves are very nice, the food and drinks are great. Always nice to get a double whisky on the rocks and sip while enjoying a movie. Plus the throwback movies.... I'm definitely coming to see Sandlot!
Look and dine has spoiled me. $15 weekday tix and recliner seats, service is awesome.
Great place to watch a movie especially in the loft theater with sofas for sitting
Great place for a movie. Comfortable chairs, great atmosphere. Love Ivy kitchen adjacent to the movies and coal vines too.
It might be expensive, but the service and the theater is awesome. The food was pretty good too. Would love to come back
LOOK is my go-to movie theater. I love the recliners and the ease of ordering or taking in food. Food is ok - not the main attraction.. layout is still confusing. It's not that easy to keep track of which movies have recliners or sofas or not, which serve food or are comfortable to take food in. Looking back and forth between movie and setting is tedious. The must be an easier way to present options. And why so much dead space in the middle. Surely some decent seating or cafe tables or something nice for movie goers can be put in.
5.00 tickets during the weekdays, perfect for a Friday night.
I once rated LOOK Cinemas 5 stars, and that was only a year ago. I was shocked by how much the quality has dropped since then. When I watched a recent movie, the theater had some strange particles all over our selected seats, there was popcorn on the floors, and drinks left around. They let everyone into the theater even though they clearly didn't clean it. I don't know if it was just a day of negligence by the workers there or if this is how things always are now. All I know is I won't be going back any time soon. I only gave 2 stars because 1)The movie actually played and 2)It was spacious.
Their “Evolution” rooms are better than Dolby Cinema. Very bright, clear projection (both standard and 3D) and excellent Atmos sound. I wish I lived closer and could go all the time! I save 5-star reviews for the truly exceptional and wish I could give Look six!
Had never been to this cinema before. Went to a Friday matinee. Cinema was clean and did not have that sour musty smell plaguing so many cinemas. We were in their "revolution" screening room. The recliners were probably the best seating I've ever had in a theater. Comfortable almost to a fault! You may be tempted to catch a nap regardless of how good the movie is. All the staff were friendly. Overall a great experience and will definitely go back.
Thought all seats reclined. Their online seating doesn’t look anything like the seats in real life. Not all theaters are dine in. Not coming again. Just 2 stars cause it’s a nice looking theater over all.
First time visiting! We grabbed drinks at the bar followed with a movie. Facilities were clean and seats were comfortable. Easy parking. We'll be back!
Staff was very helpful when we arrived at the theater and realized we had forgotten our tickets at home. The manager reprinted our tickets for us saving us a trip back to the house. The couches weren't as comfortable as I had expected and were closer to the screen than I prefer.
Just wasn't a good experience. Cold food, burst popcorn
Not worth all the money and be careful they auto grat your tabs and don't tell you about it. The manager of the restaurant Jason had a really bad attitude and pretty much told us to kick rocks over double tipping. We always tip, we just don't usually tip 40% for inattentive service. When we brought that up to Jason he was unnecessarily rude and defensive. when we asked at what point anyone made us aware the tab was having automatic gratuity added and he pretty much told us we should have done our homework before going to their business. Never again, Very unprofessional guy.
Love this place for movies and drinks ONLY! They have the most comfortable seats, best showings, easy bookings, and great wine special. I continue going for the movies, but unfortunately will not do the look and dine here, which is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. I really hate to post this, because this is my favorite theatre of all time. I just love the modern vibe and non traditional set up. And I can order great wine to enjoy during my movie. But. The last time I came, I saw Once Upon a Time In Hollywood at the look and dine. I purchased a pizza and $95 bottle of wine. 15 minutes into the movie, I reached over for a piece of my pizza to CLEARLY SEE roaches (3 that I saw in that moment) scatter across my pizza!!! I yanked my hand back (somehow didn’t scream) and saw them scatter down between the couch and table it was on
Really good service and a luxurious experience! Loved it and would not hesitate to come back again. Check out their special prices during the week and you won't regret their atmos surround theatres.
This was the coolest theater!! Loved the recliner seats and most importantly it was clean!
Great, high end facility at reasonable prices. Exceedingly comfortable chairs that recline at the press of a button. In the concert scene, the surround-sound was so realistic, I forgot I was in a theater; I briefly felt I was actually at the concert. Plenty of leg and elbow room. Wide walking space between rows. However, the volume is, at times, too high, in the extreme. I had to cover my ears from the pain. When your movie is more quiet, you can hear a loud sound track in the next theater.
One of my favorite theaters. The Look and Dine was great
My favorite movie theater. Great food, great seats. Definitely worth the extra cost.
My first time experience was great with seeing Captain Marvel and eating. The menus is awesome, and the steak and shrimp was so amazing! Food came out fast, and the service was on point. I like the concept of choosing his comfortable and style of service you’d like. I also like that gratuity was included. I will be back soon
Great seats and popcorn
Love this place! Very clean, the recliners are awesome and the food looks good (gonna try one of those fire grilled burgers one day
LOOK has a great thing going, though it is yet another movie theater, so keep that in mind. Aside from the different "experiences" here and the valet (I've never used), there's really not much else that is different. The LOOK & Dine isn't worth it to me. It's too overpriced, the menu isn't great, the food was subpar, and it wasn't really a good movie/dine experience, especially for the insane price. You order at the bar and they deliver to your seats. There's no service button, etc. Go to Alamo Drafthouse if you want this experience because they are 100x better in all aspects on this type of experience. The lofts are nice because of the couches. I like that we can pay for [one ticket] what's basically 2 seats to get the seats we want anyway and we end up with more space. Plus, I can lay on my husband if I want. I'd imagine this would be super ideal for 3 good friends, too. The power recliners are comfortable and give you ample space. We've had broken ones before but that's rare. Ticketing is usually pretty easy as they have a website and the kiosks inside. The staff here tends to always be in a "meh" mood. Pricing for normal movie eating stuff (popcorn, drinks, candy) seems on par with other theaters.
Always a great experience. 4k cinema with Dolby Atmos is a great combination. The recliners are amazing! Highly recommended.
Went to see "Us", every time I've gone to Look I've had a great experience, food was even better. they allowed you to order pretty much anything that was listed on the Ivy Kitchen menu. Even if it wasn't on their movie menu.
Amazing, unlike anything I've ever seen or been at
Really comfortable seating with a nice menu!
This was a cool theater - we saw a movie in the cinema above the bar. The seat groupings make it impossible to sit directly centered in front of the screen, and makes it difficult to see movies with a group. The sofas are fairly close to the front of the theater. Visual and sound quality of the movie itself were fine.
#11 theatre the back seats are not reclynable. Was hoping to eat a steak all I could order was popcorn and coke and the butter machine was not working. BAD EXPERIENCE!!. I would not pay. 11.50 per seat matinee.....For a same ol theather same I'm theater very Disappointing :). It was our date night. =(
Very nice, clean, ultra-modern movie theatre with stadium seating and reclining chairs. For my second time going, I love this place!
Disappointed because we didn't know the bar and food delivery options didn't start until later in the day. We plan to go back at a later time
Very nice. Not crowded. A little pricey
Awesome theater. Great snack bar. I saw my movie in the evolution theater and the recliners were so comfy. I got an early matinee and only paid 6 dollars.
Why the ^@^#&$ would anyone go to the "other" movie theater in Addison?
SO GREAT LOVED IT EXPENSIVE PUT AMAZING GO THERE FOR EVERY MOVIE , the food
Awesome movie theater
Great cinema, amazing snack and drink selection. With good quality food, and amazing seats.
I love coming here, sitting on the couch and ordering dinner is great. Awesome place for a date night.
Look and Dine is the perfect way to spend a date night. The loft is a great place to go with friends after dinner. The Atmos and 3D options are fun but not much different than any other theater experience. We love the bar and the awesome bartenders. Great cocktails and pretty good beer and wine list. We recommend this place to almost everyone we meet.
Great atmosphere to watch a movie.
Most luxurious movie theater ever! Bonus points for the Atmos theater!
I dont like to go to any other theater. I like the seats and the food. Yes, it is a little more expensive than a normal theater, but it prices out the riff raff that just make noise.
The concession staff are rude as hell. I came in early while there wasn’t but a few patrons and stood at the counter for like 5 minutes before i was acknowledged. The staff were all standing around, one even leaning on the counter so they clearly weren’t busy. Then when what looked to be a manager, a black guy, mid to early twenties in a short sleeve blue button down instead of taking my order was like “we’re taking orders down here”. Literally no one was at the counter but me at the time and why he couldn’t come where I was to take my order I couldnt understand. Even still he could have at least said "I can help you down here", instead of letting me stand there and finally belch out where he was taking orders. And the only reason he even said anything to me then was because another guy came and stood behind me to be in line. A young latina female came where I was and took my order, but why she couldnt have done that before the exchange happened was beyond me. When my date got there I told him and he proceeded to address the situation because what looked to be the manager of that other supposed manager was at the counter and she kept saying "well they were busy with other customers". There was literally no one but me at the counter when I got there. I'm never going back to this theatre and it sucks because it looks cool. But no. I'm going to try out that new luxe theatre downtown. Or any other theatre.
Nice place, good pop corns, multiple different seat opportunities and clean.
What a movie theater! It's a little more upscale than your average one but if you are willing to dish out a bit more dough you will see that it is worth it. Great sound, tasty food options, and a helpful staff are what you'll find here. One of the best movie experiences in the metroplex for sure.
The Dolby Atmos theater is ok, sound is ok, screen is big!
I really enjoy watching movies here
Always love coming here, not super crowded and the seats are so comfy. June 2019 Edit - We used to love coming here every other weekend, brought friends and family, encouraged others to come.. But after my car getting broken into in broad daylight while in their parking lot last weekend and finding out they have ZERO cameras on a large parking lot where patrons leave their cars for 2+ hours at a time, I cannot possibly visit this location anymore and will encourage others to go somewhere safer. I can't risk my vehicle being broken into again, until your facility adds cameras, because DPD will do nothing to help otherwise. Pretty disappointed :(
Being hearing challenged, I need assistive devices to enjoy movies. About half the time, the devices don't work. One time the device failed twice, once at the beginning and again in the middle of viewing. Manager apologized and offered two passes good for any movie, any time. Went to see Lion King over the weekend. The same manager refused to honor the passes. "I thought you said the passes are good for any movie, any time?" Manager: "They are, except for Lion King."
The huge LOOK sign on the outside of the blocky concrete building on Beltline Rd is quite hard to miss, particularly at night. I've seen it many times when we've been visiting restaurants in the area and wondered what it was like inside. I finally got to see a movie there for the first last week (Feb 2019). Although it's a bit far from us to go to very often, We chose it because they were still showing a movie that had already left most of the big chain cinemas. Think 'Studio Movie Grill', but independent, smaller, and much classier. We were seated in the main screen ('Look & Dine') A range of food and drink is available and is brought to your seats, which are are very large and comfortable powered recliners. The screen is clear and the sound is good. Ticket prices are a bit expensive although we went on a Tuesday lunchtime when their tickets are about half the normal price. We didn't eat or drink anything so I can't comment on prices or quality.
Always a great experience. I always enjoy going to comfortable places that the masses don't know now about.
Unsanitary! If you want to sweat in a seat for 2 hours that someone just got done sweating all over, then this is the theater for you. The air conditioning feels like it’s not even turned on. Stay away!
Love this place. Only theatre whose website was still working when I wanted to buy Endgame tickets. It's always clean, the seats are comfortable and the food is good.
Great format for movie viewing. Impressed with the layout and the quiet comforting structure that was serene and modest in its modern facade. Wonderful sitting arrangement for small audiences offering many amenities a typical upscale movie goer could ask for before and in some showings during the showtime.
Good theaters with good seating. Staff is friendly. Restaurants are nearby. Concession stand has standard movie type treats that are way overpriced.
Nice place.
My second trip to LOOK and thus far, 10/10 both times. Honestly, the main reason for the review is the damned Brussels sprouts. I love Brussels sprouts and these are up there with the best I’ve ever had, which is not what one might expect from a movie theater, but who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth? The service has been *exceptional* during both visits, both in and out of the theater itself. I suppose someone should expect that with built in 18% gratuity, but, regardless, it’s working. Not a bad seat in the place, easy access, awesome food and drink, and superior service.
Literally watched the manager stick his gloveless hand in the bag on buns and attempt to give it to my wife and I to eat
Fancy as hell... Refills are allows
Very nice spot for a date!
Nice place some of the theatres. The Lofts seating is not comfortable seating. Like most theatre the prices are ridiculously high for tickets and food.
Everytime my husband and I feel like a date night where we can relax and enjoy an awesome movie, this is the place to go. I've taken many family members and friends, they all have loved it!
First off, the speakers were so loud that I had to cover my ears during every action scene, which obviously was damn near every scene since I was watching Avengers. I thought really hard about leaving when I thought I could no longer physically handle being there but having paid and wanting to wait any longer to see what would happen I stayed, the seats had food in the cracks and the drink holders were sticky and gross.
This threat is Amazing. I haven’t been to another theater and a couple years now. The entire experience is one of a kind from the superb comfortable seating, popcorn, Ivy kitchen where you can take your items to the movie with you!! I will continue to be a customer here. One thing, I wish there was some sort of membership perks as I visit this theater Often!!! :-)
First time going in and probably never going back. Watched Aquaman opening night and they were a mess. Staff took forever to process our food and tickets. Made it just in time.
Love this quirky theater. Very comfortable with a great selection of food and drinks. It was like a slightly more refined Alamo Drafthouse.
Love this place and the food is great ! I recommend the Bacon Mac and Cheese. Also the flatbread pizza is great!
Great customer service. Food is terrible. Even our noches were nasty.taste old.how can u have nasty noches.
First time here. It was great!
I really used to love this place especially the look and dine however the servers were pretty horrible about about 2 years ago and the food was mediocre at best. I went a solid five or six times and every time I had a bad situation or a food item incorrect or late or never even delivered. I'm surprised I went that long. Movies tickeys are very overpriced and they also don't get every movie that's out there for some reason. Kind of a trendy place. Loved the bar but just can't see myself going back anytime soon unfortunately. Whatever you do don't go to The Lofts or The Lounge, they're tiny little seats that don't recline and there's no leg room not a good movie experience at all with those theaters.
The "Look" theater has been my go to movie theater for some time now. I love how clean it always is and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. The seats are super cozy and the food is pretty good too.
I really liked it. The food was good. I had the fish & chips, my daughter, the mac &cheese w/crab...delicious. The movie was great. Nice to be able to relax and recline after enjoying our meal. It was also very nice having dedicated restrooms for the Look and Dine section. Would have been better if they were functioning as intended. I did report it to an employee. Aside from the messed up toilets, I am looking forward to going back again.
Went to go see jurrasic world four years ago
The restaurant food is fantastic. It is pricy, but worth it for a date night or something special. Concession stand food and drink prices are comparable to other theaters. The serviceis always good. The bathrooms are always clean. The theatres are all comfortable. Great placeto spend a few hours!
Very nice, great seating and excellent coming!
Great places to grab dinner before the movie and take in with you or your after dinner drink/dessert.
Expensive place to see a movie. $30 for one glass of wine and one movie ticket for a late afternoon movie. Restrooms were dirty, too. Will not be going back ant time soon.
This is my first visit here. This location is clean and well run. I would visit more often if the drive was not so far. If they build one closer to me. I will visit
One of our favorite movie spots since it’s by my husband’s work and we can just meet him over here. The theaters are nice and with huge evolution screens. I will say I missed the heated seats that the theater by our house put in. Didn’t realize how nice they were until I went back to a place that didn’t have them. Lol. The screens are huge and sound is great. The drink station is self filling which I honestly don’t love as they are the kind that has a touch screen and take forever. Overall though, it’s a nice theater choice for adults (as they do serve alcohol) or families.
Nice but REALLY expensive. You can go to Studio Movie Grill for the movie dining experience for a whole lot less.
Good theatre DEFANITELY RECOMMENDED
Seating could be better especially with the rest of the place being so nice
Very modern theatre. Comfy seating. Definitely one of the best in the city.
I’m always happy to go see a movie here cause my husband, sister, and friends that come here have a good experience. I would say that the only thing they could improve on is keeping the bathrooms a bit cleaner. The food and service here is great, just some of the customers don’t think about how women need to sit on a toilet seat to pee. Personally unisex bathrooms aren’t my thing because of this problem.
Lovely theatre. Very comfy and clean. Super expensive so be ready for that.
Enjoy the place. Comfortable seating.
Picture and sound was excellent. Popcorn tasted like it had been sitting overnight. Kids deal is NOT the value, thought to be. Will definitely return, but not make the same purchases.
It's a nice theater, but avoid the food part. $15 per person for tickets and $50 for ok food and a few drinks. This place is not worth $80. I would reccomend going to the loft section and avoiding the side with food.
Nice theater, the food is extremely pricey though
Such a great movie going experience and awesome food.
Love this theater! Seats are comfortable, the Atmos theater is pretty awesome. Great food from Ivy Kitchen!
A wonderful place for date night!
This is such a nice theatre complex because you have multiple choices of eating and viewing your movie. And all of the seating is extremely nice. I prefer to have a relaxed dinner at The Ivy, and then have cocktails and dessert in the Look and Dine venue . It’s all extremely comfortable , the food and wine are delicious , and there are No screaming children anywhere (:
Theater is great. Two gripes. Bartender was asleep. Walked upstairs to grab a drink before the movie and saw a sign that read "be back in 15 minutes"... looked over at the high top tables, and the bartender was taking a nap. But wait... it gets worse. The next time I went a bunch of cars got broken into... including mine... despite the fact they had a security guard driving a golf cart around. Not sure how multiple cars can have their windows broken and belongings stolen. Maybe it was an inside job? Idk (kidding). It was just very Busch League and I wont be back. If we're going to be locked in a theater for 2 hours we need to know our LOCKED cars are safe.
Seats were comfortable, sound was great, first showings were $5.41 and then by 12 it bumps up to almost $9. The food arms drinks are not cheap, but if you go first thing in the morning, it's worth it. Overall was a great theater. There's an elevator to get to the second floor, very spacious theaters. Best seating would be in the middle area.
