Comfortable reclining chairs cheap little pricey on the drinks and popcorn

Let me start by saying that we have been going to this theater for the last few years. It is clean and very comfortable. But there has always been a lack of customer service. Not necessarily bad, just not good. Staff just isn't friendly and at times seem annoyed. Well today my experience at ticket counter was just awful! I understand that when highly anticipated movies first come out, that the crowds can be overwhelming and stressful to the staff. But there was absolutely no excuse for how I and my handicapped mother were treated. I took my mother and two nieces to see "Aladdin" today. My mother had a Massive Brain Hemorrhage some time back. And after emergency surgery and even part of her skull being removed, she has had to learn to talk again, walk again, etc. It has been rough, but she is so strong willed and has came far :) We had no idea about the Tuesday special, until today. So therefore today was quite busy there. Finally got through the ticket line and were told the 3:00 showing was sold out. No problem, we could go to the 3:30. And I could already tell that the employee was put out with me for asking if there were any seats on the main row (my mom still cannot climb or go down stairs and often needs restroom). It is obvious my mom has physical problems and we have never had an issue with this before. And I was, in no way, pushy. I explained my mother needed that. But could tell she didn't care and definitely had no time for pleasant chit chat. So she did say I could have the one seat still left on main row, for my mom. But went on to say that it is for the handicapped only, so if someone with a disability comes in, she would be bumped. What? My mom is handicapped!! She isn't in a wheelchair, but has a cane and still limps everywhere. This is after 4 years of painful rehab and she is still declared disabled, probably always will be. I confirmed again that my mom is handicapped and she didn't answer either way. So it worried me, that my poor little mom would be bumped out for someone else, even after the movie began. So I confirmed one more time that my mom has her disability card to show she deserves to be seated there. And she snapped, "YES, I AM AWARE!!" And I mean basically yelled. Well how did I know she was aware? She didn't even acknowledge anything I had said. Woman in line behind me stopped me, on way into movie, and said she had heard it all (how couldn't everyone?) And that I should report it to a manager. But at that point I just wanted to cool down and think it over. I plan on calling a manager this week. So my mom got the one handicapped seat on main level (D Level), with my two nieces in front of her (front row- E Level). They are too young to be spread out from both of us. So that left me with the seat all the way at the top (A Level). Issue is that my mom needs my help getting up and down. So on her two restroom trips, I had to go all the way down to help her. We try not to ask for any help, as I help her full time. But there was a woman with a young child in handicapped seats right by her. As the rude girl told me up front, they could bump us for someone handicapped. Which made no sense to say to us. So I should have had a seat by my mother, as her companion/caregiver. I am thinking that is in violation of The Disability Act. I have no desire to further pursue whether or not it is. It just wasn't right. We have always enjoyed going here. But this really left a bad taste. My mom loves going to movies and after everything she has been through, try to take her often. It is one of the few things she can still enjoy. We always go to this theater. Were there two days last week too. But don't know if/when we will ever go back. Other theaters, near us, aren't as comfortable. But hopefully they will have more respect. Sorry this is so long :))

Most of the theaters inside were showing the new Avengers movie. We were going to see it but we didn't buy tickets early enough, they were totally sold out today. So we see Breakthrough instead, super impressed love the movie. Now this is the first time I had been to the Roxy, very roomy comfortable and great seats. And the way the seats are tiered you're not even really around here neighbors except the seats beside you. And theater four was small enough that you were barely bothered by other groups as can happen in larger theaters. Totally impressed! We did not use the concessions, I had just eaten before we went in. Workers courteous. Even the restrooms were clean.

Theater is filthy. Snack bar looks like it’s never cleaned, lobby is outdated and dirty, the restrooms smell like someone “cleaned” with straight urine. Every stall was dirty and the smell was seriously so bad! Disgusting! The chairs in the theater are about the only thing good that Roxy has going on. Such a shame that the owners don’t take more pride in what they are offering. I’ll be driving to Mt. Juliet from now on- at least they clean up there!

Great experience! This theater used to be a location I avoided like the plague but I'm very glad I gave it another shot since it was all updated. Comfy reclining seats, great sound, the works. Only issue was the actual movie screen was visibly dirty but this was pretty easy to ignore. This theater is definitely better than any other around.

I hadn't been to the Roxy in years. There were always too many teenagers yelling and running around and the popcorn was always stale. I went back for their $5 movie night on Tuesdays. The new reclining seats were very comfy! I'd definitely go back.

FYI. Bought online tickets through their online portal so I could take my kids to see Secret Life of Pets 2. My credit card information was hacked. Their were several attempts to charge the card for Regal Cinemas Mobile App that I had to work out with my credit card company. Ultimately deactivated the care. Beware of online ticket purchase.

The customer service here were very rude to me and my wife. They would not allow our children to go watch a movie we approved them to watch. Outrageous. I will never be returning here ever again.

This was my first time seeing a movie at The Roxy. It was very clean and I loved the seating. I like how they give you assigned seats. I enjoyed my time there. I would highly recommend this theater for an evening out.

For one I dont like they dont have stairs on both sides of the theater. For two the glass in between the isles does get in the way of the movie on the top row. My boyfriend said he wished he could have alcohol while watching a movie.

The seats recline electrically with footrests. Comfortable, but a little different in that you choose your seat off a screen when purchasing your ticket. Snacks were pricey, but I guess they are everywhere. All in all a good place to see a movie

Good theater, but needs to put efforts into keeping itself clean. There was gum and other debris in the water fountains (more than one) that had obviously been there for several days. Otherwise this is a great location that everyone should check out.

Been here before and after renovation. Very nice seating, with the power reclining seats. Feel slightly more sanitary since they aren't cloth. Good sound, no complaints about the set up. 4 stars because even though it's standard practice, the concessions prices are still painful. Not pro sports bad, but higher than they should be for this to get 5 stars. Med drink and med popcorn for one was $11.25. Redeeming quality was Tuesday special of $5.50 ticket.

I really like going to this theater, the staff is really nice, prices are great and can't beat the recliners. The only reason its 4 instead of 5 stars, it's because it would be nice if the consessions area was a bit cleaner. I've come a few times in which the area has been a bit messy.

Man was the seats so nice. It's so much comfortable than the old ones that I ended up falling asleep at one point. Not only that but they recline back, and there is enough room that if anyone gets up to walk by you, you dont have to move or stand up. It was so amazing that I almost forgot about being there to watch a movie, lol.

This was the most amazing theater I have visited in a while. Push a button and the recliner seats lean all the way back in sleeping position. The audio was perfect level. I should have began by mentioning how easy it was too find our seat with the row label being lighted. Tuesday movies are $5.50 according to the website. Have fun visiting here, I did.

Best deal around. All day Tuesday, all movies are $5.50 plus a small popcorn with rewards card. So appreciate the small cup of water available. The recliners are an added comfort. Excellent experience! A grandparents dream.

This theater is great, but I had 2 workers come up to me sitting with my younger sister on a date and they accused us of sneaking in free. I clearly paid $40 to watch a movie and was humiliated in front of other people in the theater. Never have I been so embarrassed. This was completely rude and unacceptable. They easily could have asked the woman working the desk where you buy the tickets to prove we paid. Will be making a phone call to whoever runs this place.

Love this theatre. Great family owned cheap popcorn and drinks. On Tuesday nights it's $5 movie night which is great for our family we usually do this at least once a month because if I have it you have a uac card not only is the movie $5 but the popcorn is free. When you have four kids it just a little expensive to go to the movies. But with this deal and this great place it makes it a affordable. The seats are assigned and they recline and they are new and updated.
