Excellent movie, The Overcomer. Movie Palace is a great place for young people and old alike to see movies. The sound was too loud. I had to sit with my hands over my ears. I was sitting almost to the back and still too loud.

1st time visiting yesterday. Detective Pikachu is the 1st movie in awhile that I've gone to opening weekend. Worth it. :D The movie theater itself was clean, seats were comfortable, and no complaints here.

Worst employees ever. Worst service given. Most workers there couldn't even tell you if they had enough seats that your party required. If I was you I wouldn't stop by this one.

I’m very disappointed with this theatre. I come here all the time even though Maryville and turkey creek are much closer to me. I usually have a very good experience here, but today not at all. The lady taking the tickets was very friendly and helpful, but the man at the register was not friendly AT ALL! This is my 3 year old nephews first time at the movies and I wasn’t sure how he would do and I asked if he got upset in the first little bit of the movie if I could leave and get my money back and he acted like I asked the craziest question ever! When my son was younger sometimes he didn’t do very well and I would have to leave and foothills and turkey creek ALWAYS refunded my money if it was in the first half of the movie. I will probably not be coming back. He didn’t even go ask if they would be able to if we had to leave and acted like it was a big deal to ask so I told him to forget it.

Really great employees, very clean and brand new looking. Went on Sunday at 430 pm for 6.00 a person. Will go again because it's worth the drive!!! They make the popcorn as you order in just a few seconds. REALLY ENJOYED IT!!!! DEFINITELY THE BEST ONE I'VE EVER BEEN IN

Comfy seats, can be cold- you might need a sweater. Volume is set to LOUD. My friend always brings ear plugs so he doesn't get a headache

Nice theater, clean with comfortable seats. Legroom was great! The bathrooms are clean and nice as well. The screens are clear and the surround sound is good too. The popcorn and soda are standard theater stuff. Not fancy, but if you're looking to see a movie it's a good movie going experience.

For being at home, this theater is the bomb. Would probably like to see different snack/food options, but for the price and the not crowded theater, it had been an awesome place to go! The 3D was spectacular for a small theater. Would rather go here than Cleveland any day and save money too.

The theatre was really nice. Clean. Loved the castle theme. My son enjoyed that. Also the seats were comfy and the screen was large. There was a lot of seating. The price was reasonable for what movies are going for nowa days. The only thing I'd say is the popcorn that we we're served was old. It was stale, I'm not sure how often they pop it. I was going to ask for fresh popcorn but didn't bother, the staff behind concessions didn't seem the friendliest. The movie we saw was at 6:15, you'd think they'd make a fresh batch around that time. Next time I will ask for fresher popcorn. Other than that we really enjoyed it!

I wasn't expecting much with it being so small. But the theater was surprisingly nice with a friendly staff. I found out later they'd rebuilt over the old one. I'll probably definitely go once more while I'm in town. No need to waste time driving out of Athens for a movie.
