Been there twice now and both times have been an excellent time out. $8 for adults for two movies ($6 for military). Staff is extremely friendly and concessions are a lot better priced then a standard movie theater. Popcorn was not as good as as the traditional movie popcorn but the place still deserves a 5 stars. Update 28 June 2019 The last two times we have been there the second movie has had problems playing. The first time this happened it took about 25 minutes for them to get the movie running and we stuck around and watched the second movie. Tonight after waiting just over 20 minutes and the movie attempting to start about 5 times and then pausing and turning off again we decided to take off and watch the second movie at another time.

Perfect summer night in South Dakota and what to do? Why go to a drive-in movie! Visiting from the east and hasn’t been to a drive in in 30 years! Roy’s has 2 screens each with double features and you tune on the sound through your radio. Even had the dog with us in the van. Loved it!

Awesome place for a family or date night, they have military discount, and great concessions. Compact cars get the better parking if you're a front rower, bigger cars have to park towards the back so everyone can see. (: It was my first time going and I enjoyed myself! I'd bring blankets and pillows ^_^

Absolutely fantastic fun for the whole family! Great prices and food. They offer a car load night, a play ground for the kids, and a full concession of goodies. If you haven't been there it's an absolute summertime must! If you have I don't need to say anything more then I'll see you there! !

Clean fun and not that expensive definitely a better experience from the normal indoor theater. Just make sure you bring a radio if you don't want to use your car battery.

Great place for the whole family even the four legged fur baby's. Thursday is carload night and at 16 bucks a car, you can fit alot of people in a car. It's a great deal plus there homemade chilie is amazing.

Didn't actually go here. We were staying at a RV park that was close by. We could see the one movie screen,( they had 2, )but it was on the dark side. Not sure what was showing. Didn't look like many vehicles were there.

Screw this Drive In! They charged me "per car" which ended up being double. He "felt bad" though. Just BS. I love drive ins and have to say this one is low on the totem pole. If you can, avoid it. If not, save money by not supporting the concessions.

Very cool experience for adults to kids. Prices for admission are fair. Popcorn was not the best almost tasted old and was burnt. They don't want you to bring in your outside food, but they need to make sure what they are serving is quality. Parking was a bit of a battle, we got there at least 45 min early, but had to park more on the side, the first place I tried to park I was yelled at by someone saying I couldn't park there. We had a mini van with 7 people and we're not able to park backwards like most people. The man told me the row I was in was for cars only (I thought it was only the 1st two rows) we were in at least the 3rd or 4th row. Any how later on other mini vans were parking in the same area so I guess that was karma for him. We brought a few blankets for the kids to sit outside on. We will go again, but hope for a better experience next time.

It’s really good for what it is. It’s a drive in. The screens were clean and as modern an outdoor movie screen can be. Food was reasonably priced and the grounds were clean. The classic drive in movie park was there and yes, it has the broken swing from your childhood. For a reasonable priced movie in a setting you just don’t see anymore it’s a great deal.

Make sure your battery is strong. Post mounted speakers are replaced by you using your vehicle radio for the sound. Clean place, diverse snack bar, clean bathrooms. (Truckload Thursdays!) Give them a call.

I absolutely love Roy's! Their movies are always good ones, we always open up the back of the car to watch the movie. It's always an enjoyable with Roy's. the food may be a bit pricey, but good quality at least. They always give you a plastic bag to throw away your garbage so it doesn't end up on the ground, and I think that's pretty cool! The weather can be a bother, but nevertheless it's always a good time.
