This Movie Theater is classified in the category of Movie theater.
Reasonable and very clean.
We saw Downton Abbey. Loved the movie!
SMALL SEATS if your heavy beware these seats don't recline are uncomfortable and not all arm rests lift up. Nice theater though, food way over-priced. $40 for 4 boxes of candy and 4 medium drinks.
The theaters are always clean the wait is minimal but I don't like getting an assigned seat my wife is in a wheelchair and it makes it very hard to sit in the very front row and have an assigned seat
Great theater. Very clean and great seats. My only complaint is if you are going to have a huge opening lmaybe open a few more concession registers. We ended up waiting in line for 30 minutes just for popcorn and a drink.
The fact that you get to pick you seating before entering the theater is great! The seating is comfortable as well!
Newly remodeled theater with very comfortable seating although, the seats are more narrow than before the renovation. The lack of elbow room between the seats makes the time spent watching the movie a little uncomfortable for larger people. Very pricey snack counter so eat before you go otherwise expect to pay a hefty $18.00 for a large popcorn and soda.
This is an average theater at best. Seems it may be time for an upgrade. The seats are dirty and not very comfy, the sound is not the best, and the concessions lives very slow. It's totally fine, but no better b
Love it. They have all the movies.
Rarely go to the movies but always go here when I do. Only downside is the concession is out of a particular popcorn constantly and service is really stupid slow even when we are like the only people in line.
Place still ok. Mostly clean. Popcorn, as all theaters, crazy expensive. And assigned seats are annoying during the day when there's a total of 8 of us in the theater.
The best theater in Greenville for sure. Woodruff road is a great location for businesses. The seats are comfortable, and they have a QR scanner if you're like me and you buy your tickets online. Most of the time they play the "Fandom Events" such as the annual Ghibli Fest and a few other animated movies. One of the only theaters I'd actually recommend.
Good theater, just expensive concessions, like everywhere. I just don't eat. Who needs that junk?
Hollywood 20 is a pretty good theater, traffic can at times be stand still getting in and out but they do have a lot of screens and show times. So you can usually find a time for whatever you're looking for.
Decent theater. It's older, but it gets the job done. In close proximity to lots of restaurants.
If you go early the parking is not that bad but if it is busy parking is horrible. Be prepared to pick where you want to sit when you purchase your ticket. Picture and sound quality is great.
Clean and comfy but please turn up the AC, last three times it's been a little warm and there was only 10 people in the theatre this time so I know it's not body heat like at the Avengers premier.
High quality experience, but be prepared to pay for it. One of the cleanest theaters I've been in. Seats were comfortable. Assigned seating! Overall very good. We will be back.
Hate that I have to choose seat when buying my ticket. Expensive.
Great loved the movie. Saw End Game
Went to see the new Avengers movie which was being shown at the same time on two different screens. The guy who scaned the tickets told us screen 8 but our ticket said 5 so a bunch of people went to the wrong screen and it caused a ton of confusion. Other than this I have never had any issues here. Always a pleasant experience going to this theater.
Awesome experience for Avengers Endgame. Service was slow, but the place was packed 15-20 ppl on each register, constantly. Prices on concessions seemed a bit pricey compared to other theatres.
Love the RPX, and a large number of screens. Best in Greenville!
Busy place, but comfortable seats.
It's the main place to go in Greenville for movies. Not a whole lot of competition. It's been around for a minute, could use a revamp on the seating, but other than that, it's your standard movie experience. Not bad. Not amazing.
They did not have it together over end game weekend. I waited for over 45 minutes for popcorn and still missed part of the movie. You would think they would have better planned for a movie this popular.
Like the assigned seating now in place. Saw Art of Racing in the Rain and loved it! Best movie I have seen this year. Tef
Great place but would love to see them adopt the luxury loungers like regal Biltmore or Carolina cinermark in Asheville
Loved it very clean. Comfortable great food assortments.
Extremely slow service. Tix agent way too slow. Concessions even slower. Prices way too high.
I like the place but the people here on the ticket area is rude
Waaaay too expensive for the experience. Lines were long, staff was slow, and spending over $60 for three tickets and one popcorn is just ridiculous in the days of Netflix.
With the most popular movie of the year playing, they have 1 person at the ticket booth and 2 registers open at the concession stand. Get with the program people.
Soooo, you’d think for an opening weekend of a highly anticipated movie that they would have sufficient staff... NOT! They only had 3 people staffed at the concessions counter during end game weekend. We got there an hour and a half early and still missed the first 15 minutes of the movie because we waited in line so long and had the slowest person ever ringing us up. I’ve been to several theaters and usually you have all the cashiers PLUS people helping gather things like candies and popcorns while the other would check you out and waiting was minimal. I usually love this place but after this weekend we’re just going to go somewhere else.
Great! Staff was very friendly. The lines were fairly long, though. But that's to be expected.
Clean and comfortable, but lacks some of the modern luxury of theaters found in other markets.
I have never had a bad experience going to this movie theater. The theaters very clean for each room and I am pleased with the RPX theater.
Nice theater! Always go here when I want to see a movie
Everything was nice, had the whole theatre to me and my girlfriend, but the price makes me not want to return... Although I suppose, since it's nearby some other nice dating venues, it's my only option in some situations...
This is a nice theater, typical Regal experience: clean, ok customer service, always have the newest movie releases.
Lots of parking, good shows, clean safe atmosphere
The worst concessions wait time in history Everytime.....15.20. Or day 25. . Hope can people give them 4 or 5 stars. Poor poor management
We went to see the movie, and the theater was unable to turn off the ceiling lights, so the first 30 minutes of movie had glares with bright lighting on while the movie was going, which really takes you out of the movie. Seemed very unprofessional. Not a great movie going experience all around, especially when you consider how much it all costs.
very clean, nice staff and plenty of show times.
Quick service, I love being able to purchase tickets through Atom and skip the line. Theatre was clean but the seats were pretty uncomfortable, though we were in the very last theatre so it may have been one that hasn't been renovated yet. Concession prices are insane but what can you expect? I recommend sneaking in your own drink if you can.
This would be my go-to theater in the local area. They have tried to spice the whole place up with lots of new restaurants and recently what's considered a playground I guess right in front of the theater, which is amazing in theory but it seems like a very pointless playground. It's like pieces of metal that are arched that kids can try climbing up and hanging from maybe. It looks really stupid to me and that was the same feedback I've been given from the others I know. But I am really glad that they added benches out there because that's nice in case you're having to kill some time before the movie.
HOT. Little ceiling fans in a giant theater atney cutting it. $20 for tickets, $15 for snack, and the a/c can't be below 78
This theater is one of my favorites in the area. They did a great job renovating the theater with new seating, carpeting, and freshly painted. The staff is always friendly, and the popcorn is fresh and tasty. The stadium seating ensures almost every seat a great way to see the movie.
Always really clean and very good staff
Love that me and my family been joined here for years will be 6 in the making. Constable Seats.
Prices are comparable to other movie theaters. The staff is nice and the snack attendants are helpful even though the rest just want you to leave them alone. Good seats, good screens, good sound.
A bit overpriced but is a nice theater. And they have headsets for the hearing impaired!
It was dirty! They should do a lot more on maintenance if the place!
They served me an old wrinkley hot dog with a really hard bun which I can only assume was warmed up in a microwave since they didn't have any. They took really long to get us our food & by then the movie was about to start. So I didn't go back to complain as I didn't want to miss the movie. Next time I'm skipping the concession stand altogether.
Good seating, pretty comfy. Big screens. Sound was also nice.
Movie was very loud like all movies but what bothered me most was how incredibly dirty the screen was. There were 4 huge blotches on the screen. I've never noticed a single dirty theatre screen until I came here. The chairs are reminiscent of sitting on a airplane only worse because they incline forward, at least an airplane seat isn't constantly arching your back forward via springs. I wouldn't recommend these theatres to anyone.
Nice facility surrounded by great restaurants. Perfect place to spend the evening with family and friends.
Regal Cinemas Hollywood 20 is a very good movie theater. It is always really clean and we enjoy going to see movies here!
Always a great time when i go to the movies
They'll sell minors tickets to a rated R movie but then won't let them in the theatre even with a parent (me) giving consent They said parent must be in the theatre. I think age restriction should occur at the sale of the ticket... But then they might not make that sale.
It's a clean cinema (cleaners were eagerly waiting for all patrons to exit the movie halls so they could start! :) ). The halls Halls are equipped with very comfortable seats. Happy that this location has more choices for movies. There is also a ticket kiosk placed indoors if you don't fancy waiting in line outside in the cold winter nights..
Super movie complex. Recently replaced seats and they are awesome. Huge snack/concessions area and never a big line like internet places
Biggest theater in Greenville area. Lots of movies. New, fun playground in front.
I loved the movie. The place was comfortable and well staffed with friendly people. All around good time!)
We come to this theater every time a new movie sparks out interest and for good reason. It is kept very clean and the staff members are always polite and helpful! I also like that you can pick your seats when buying the tickets so you can get a secure spot!
Kendrick Brothers movies are always good!
Relaxing. Good acoustics. Clean.
Awsome IT Chapter 2
Cinema was comfortable and clean but the lobby and concession area, different story. The place looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks, lines 20 minutes long, no napkins, condiments or items available and staff was in no hurry to help at all. Very dissapointed for $70.00 afternoon.
Nice, clean theater. They are renovating on the outside. It looks like its gonna have a nice sitting area when the construction is done. I like that you get to choose your seats when buying tickets. It makes it a lot easier when viewing big movies like the Avengers.
Really crowded and overpriced, a lot more expensive than other theaters in the area and it's not as nice or clean as the other ones. The bathrooms are disgusting and stink and all of the customers there were really rude and like the break inline even though I know that's not Hollywood 20 fault it's still aggravating! I honestly think this will be the last time that I visite this location especially with my kids. I used to go there all the time as a kid and one reason being it was one of the only movie theaters around for a while but I believe it's run its course with me. I would definitely choose another theater over this place is specially if you are with your kids and family. I like Camelot cinemas on Laurens Road And Easley cinemas the most especially when I'm with my family and children. Cherrydale is okay but I definitely go to another location besides Hollywood 20! I'm only giving a three-star because I do like the fact that they have later show times and the ticket lady was nice other than that I will give a one maybe two stars!
Regal Cinemas need to figure out another way to guarantee their customers sit in the seats they choose or do away with the option to choose the seats you want to sit in because when we entered the theater, 2 other customers were sitting our seats. So we sat behind them. The customers whose seats we were sitting in, asked the couple whom were sitting in our seats, to move. They refused to move. So to keep the peace, my sons & I just found somewhere else to sit. A few minutes passed & we were asked to move again by the owners of the new seats we were sitting in. Finally, we found seats that weren't already claimed. I was annoyed & started to leave, but because I made a promise to my son I stayed. We will not return if something isn't done about this. I should've asked for my money back & watched the movie at home on my firestick for free. People spend too much money in your establishments to be harassed about seating arrangements!
Great place to see a movie... Staff are nice and helpful
Comfy seats, and clean area.
We got advance tickets for End Games, and were able to choose our seats! They were super comfortable too...far better than average! Very nice theater!!!
We were in the rpx theater and it was really nice.
I love this place. Great service, friendly Customer Services.
Love this theater. This is a clean and well run location. Fast snack bar service and the attendants are always nice. The management is also very helpful if planning special events. The RPX screen is amazing with incredible resolution and sound. This is the theater I frequent the most and always suggest to anyone who asks.
If you like the checkout process at Walmart, you'll like the speed of service at concessions here.
Always a great place to go for movies. Fresh popcorn made right there for you. Also plenty of theaters so they don't get overcrowded even in big opening nights with some movies. Was the perfect place to watch Avengers Endgame.
Cushy seats, good view, clean theatres, the latest in technology.
Great place to see a movie, but when it is busy they need to be faster at the snack bar.
Decent theater. Kinda messy. Picture quality and sound were great. We don't come here often and weren't aware of picking our own seats. Wish they'd have explained that some. Assuming the system automatically picks seats, which were great seats, but everyone in the theater was sitting in one area.
Currently in line for concessions (30 minutes now). One side has 4 employees working and the side I chose has 2 (3 if you count the one employee solely doing refills). One would think that with such a huge release (Avengers) the planning would have been better. I've now wasted too much time and will have to get out of line so I can see the movie. Too bad for Regal as we know that's where they make their money.
I rarely write reviews, but for this I lost it. WORST SERVICE! Not enough staff. I was in line for >15min for a popcorn. The person who was serving my line had to go back in kitchen and never came back. I asked to speak to manager but nobody came.
Very nice theater, good service, plus there's a partly-shaded playground out front with covered benches for you to enjoy before and after the movie!
It's so beautiful and huuuuge! Popcorn could be better but I loved it anyway. Staff is very friendly :)
Loved the movie, def fun and food was good too.
Clean theater, great sound quality, friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back!
If I could give 0 stars I would do it. We waited a year to see Avengers Endgame and we bought our tickets online FOUR HOURS before. We supposed to get our seats secure and then we got there and someone else was seated there. We tell them and the reply that we got was “someone else took our seats too” bro, that’s not my business. I went to customer service and they told me they would send someone BUT THAT NEVER HAPPENED. You need to secure your guests the seats and someone has to be there to ensure everyone it’s getting the seat they got in their tickets!!! No one showed up even that I went to tell them. They don’t care about us, their clients. We had to watch the movie on the very first line of seats and that was a total disappointment.
Do not prefer the assigned seats however I enjoy being in the larger theaters.
Like it allot comfy seats. Lots of food to choose from.
The theater, rest rooms, lobby and grounds were in great shape. Clean and accommodating. The price was acceptable as the popcorn THAT day was 50% off. The movie we chose was a mistake. Just a bad movie. The upcoming previews were better than the movie, but my choice and my mistake.
The popcorn was too salty and I did not feel any different watching in RPX. The screen was slightly curved but not any different than normal screen. Seats were comfortable and room to move
My first time... enjoyed my experience
Absolutely to die for popcorn, clean restrooms and theaters. Good ticket pricing and loving the rewards!
So tonight we went and saw the 3D version of Lion King and they left the lights on while the movie was playing. Took me 20 mins to figure out why I was having a hard time seeing the special effects, so I go out to the lobby and see a mgr. He goes into the theater and sees the lights on and said give me 3 minutes and they'll be off! The whole movie they left them on and the whole time I was annoyed by the lights above my head and couldn't see! So on the way out I asked if there was a reason for them being left on? They guy looked at me like I was crazy so he get a mgr, the same one I spoke to earlier.... the moral of the story they end up giving me two passes to come back and see the movie again but they gave me passes to see a 2d movie only so I have to pay an additional charge with these 2D tickets to see a 3D movie?? BAD BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE FIRST TIME AND LAST TIME I BRING MY BUSINESS THERE! There are theaters closer and more comfortable. New seating very uncomfortable and no room. I'm tall!
It's a nice theater. The snack line moved very quickly. The one thing I will say is it might be a good idea for them to get another "check in" station for mobile ticket purchasers. There wasn't exactly a line but rather a group of us waiting to be checked in. It wasn't too long of a wait though so still a five star experience. Plus, there's a cute little kiddie park in front.
Lots of screens, and the increasing option to pick your seats ensures you get the spot you want when you arrive. Concession lines are nearly always understaffed and too long.
I love to go there it's always clean and up kept, but it high in prices as well.
Great, comfortable seats. I wish there were somewhat healthier food choices available.
Place is nice and seats are comfortable but air conditioning was turned down. Uncomfortable
Saw The Lion King in 3D. 1 word, AWESOME!!!
The screens are clear and we enjoy the parking being much closer to the building.
Better than Cherrydale even though they under the same company
This is my favorite cinema to watch movies, always has been. I would drive from Greenwood to watch them here, now I drive from Spartanburg to watch them here.
Should improve the Seats very old fashion
Cool theater. When we purchased tickets, we were shown a screen so we could pick out our seats. There was popcorn on the lobby floor but not too excessive, and the theater floors were not sticky, so that's a plus. They have a play area outside in front of the theater, as well as sitting areas. Very attractive outdoor presentation, which makes for a chill spot to discuss the movie afterwards, or to let the kids play before eating and turning in.
Never seem to be enough people working here, so the ticket lines and food lines take forever. Last couple times the icee machines were down and seemed like a normal thing. The people working there seem to work hard, just always appear understaffed
It is "just" a movie theater, but it's a great one. Always polite staff & clean theater/restrooms. Lovely place. Good eats in this area too. Get Some!
One of my favorite movie places in Greenville!
Nice screens, and great sound! The staff is friendly and the floors are clean! The overall feel at Hollywood 20 is nice and full of excitement!
I've enjoyed this place every since I was a young lad.I've got hella memories here plus they're always improving the surrounding areas. Also, shopping centers, restaurants etc..
If I'm going to see a movie then there's no question as to which theater I'm going. Clean, timely and comfortable
This is an absolutely amazing theater. I needed to get tickets for a handicap person for endgame and the staff were very patient and helpful with me. Also the bathrooms and seating areas are always clean and spotless. Since they have so many screens there is a high chance you will find a convenient showtime for your movie. I believe most of the theater rooms have "pick your own seat" seating so I recommend using the regal app on your phone to purchase your tickets before hand so that you for sure have good seats. I highly recommend this theater both because of their quality in cleanliness and helpfulness, but also there are plenty of restaurants and fun things to do in the area.
The nicest theater in Greenville. It's in the crowded Woodruff Rd shopping area and traffic can be a total nightmare, so allow lots of extra time to get to the place. Parking is good unless you are handicapped. The handicapped spaces are in the front row, but it is still a very long walk to the theater doors. A really lousy parking design. There are two ticket kiosks inside, so skip the lines. Inside, it's clean and airy. The staff is first rate. There is reserved seating, so prepare for slow lines at the box office because it takes so long for so many people to make up their minds on where to sit. Whoever came up with reserved seating at movies should be in prison. Once inside, the lines at the snack bar can be very long to where you might miss the beginning of your movie. The food selection is not nearly as good as other Regal theaters offer. The picture and sound are very good. There was a heavy police presence on the Friday night I visited. Why? This seemed to be in a good part of town. After my movie ended, it was after dark and the place was crowded with a rougher crowd, so it was good to have police on hand.
Theater appeared new, very clean, and seats were very comfortable and were the new rocking type of seat. Staff smiled and appeared friendly. The sound/volume was appropriate. Restroom was clean, with the exception of the urine on the floor caused by the slob who used the urinal immediately before me (but that's not the theater's fault). Enjoyablr experience overall. Plus, the movie was pretty good!
Overall a good movie theater. The stadium seats recline to give extra comfort. Definitely download the app to avoid the loved and earn points. My most favorite part is the assigned seating. This helps for when new movies come out.
