At this moment this business gets a rating of 4.7 stars out of 5 and the rating has been calculated on 1016 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is practically the best one, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the valuation is very credible. If many people have bothered to give their review when they are satisfied, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to set evaluations when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Movie Theater corresponds to the category of Drive-in movie theater.
They have good movies. In addition, they don't cost much. You can stay for the second movie too.
This place is surprisingly very well run! You'll find it in the middle of nowhere, but the screens are great quality, the concessions have a very wide range of choice like boiled penuts and funnel cake, and they are great for the price. I paid 9$ per person for two movies and saved money from going anywhere else. Highly recommend!
Love the Big Mo. We had another great time there tonight. Always love going here to see a movie. Cash only to get in. Cash only concessions on field 2 but the concession stand on the main field takes cards. Not really a bad view anywhere in the complex. Fun family experience.
Love coming to the Big Mo! It's a little bit of a drive for us but we come every year for the Labor Day triple feature and we always have a great time.
A pretty nice drive in movie theatre only a short drive away. A pleasant hour from Aiken and only a little longer from Augusta. A pretty sweet way to catch a movie or two. Monetta has 3 screens (playing different movies), snack bar, and fairly well appointed facilities (for a rural drive in, really). Picture and sound quality were good. The concession stand food, an unhealthy ambrosia, was well priced and delicious. I don't if they do double features all the time, but when we went it was double features on all three screens. The parking is on grass, so you can bring chairs and sit outside of your car if you want, it's a common thing to do. There's an intermission between features, so you can turn your car around if you've been sitting on the trunk or in the bed of your truck. Consider arriving at least an hour early. Between the line to pull in and pay, parking, and the very lengthy (like 45 minutes to over an hour!) line for the concession stand, you'll need the time.
What a GREAT place to enjoy your time with others. The views are amazing and the screen is really bright and looks great! Concession stand was also great fresh popcorn and good restrooms.
It's so awesome to take your family
I’m from Orlando and going somewhere like this was a nice change! The drive was also refreshing with nice houses and farm life. Felt like I went back in time watching movies the old school way. They even have a little playground for kids to keep them entertained until the movie starts! Highly recommend.
Absolutely love the drive in and getting to take our pups out too is an added bonus!
Awesome experience! Really affordable, you get two movies for the price of one, and the environment is family friendly. For the reviews that say the bathrooms and concessions are outdated, shame on you. It’s a drive-in, and if you want luxury, go pay $13 dollars for just one movie at an indoor theater. The bathrooms are actually really clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is reasonably priced as well. My advice to anyone planning to visit is to please bring bug spray for the warmer months, and a blanket for the cooler ones. Make sure you arrive early for a good parking space and to get whatever snacks you want, also, I’m not sure how viewing the movie works with “push-button-start” cars, so be sure you take that into consideration. Overall, it’s a really neat experience, not to mention, you can dress really comfortably.
Best place to spend the summer. Great for family, friends, or even date night. The food is delicious. They even have a playground for the children to use before the movie.
I love this place . It’s affordable ; 2 movies for the price of one , you can’t beat that. The food is delicious. My son loves the park area , it’s cool to watch all the children playing before the movie starts. I love the old school vibes are what makes this place so nice . I hope they keep this around for a long time.
Always awsome I love this place.
A hidden gem! We don't even go to the regular theaters now. Worth the drive, you can wear pj's, and it's owned by great people! Visit the snack bar while you're there!
Great fun and very family oriented.
Fun for the family. 2 movies for $9 per adult. It is a little bit a drive from home but worth it.
I love going to the big MO with the kids we use to go with my family as a kid and it's still a wonderful place for family night oit
Love the Big Mo! I'm so glad we have an actual drive in movie theater in our area, and it's very well run, with reasonable prices and good food. No inflated movie theater concession prices here. Definitely try the burgers! Two movies for less than the ticket price of one at most theaters, plus the privacy of your own car.
It's so worth it if you can stay up for two movies. You get great price, new movies and two of them, concessions, or bring your own snacks, sit in the comfort of your vehicle and playground for kids. Just watch out for the smoking and `good old boys`
Except for the five dollar drinks it was a good over all experience. Well the wait at the bathroom sucked.
Great price and very family friendly. I am not going to take stars away, but there are 2 adjustments that I would recommend: each screen to have its own concession stand and more help to get people through the gate quicker. We will for sure be back, loved the double feature, and loved the environment.
Definitely a bargain- two movies for the price of one! Because you can enjoy the double feature from your car, it's a very nice family outing for those with small children who may need a night out but have no one to watch the little ones. I would definitely recommending bringing some kind of insect repellent because mosquitoes can be relentless during the spring and summer showings and also some Clorox wipes for the bathroom. Food at the concession stands is often hit or miss. I found a hair in my chili cheese burger one time and I decided to bring my own food for about a year. They've since switched the cook and she's a lot better and cleaner. Overall, it's definitely a place to see and on its best night there is NOTHING like the view. It's gorgeous out there!
Horrible!!! That’s the only word I can describe for this staff. They are so unprofessional and rude!! Very very unprofessional and arrogant! Will never ever return to this dump.
Yes! Awesome place. I think the Management is doing a great job and people come from all over to support this theatre. I went for my first time ever to a drive in a couple weeks ago. It was packed but only because the movies showing were real popular. Advice: get there earlier than early on big movie days.
Foods overpriced but its not as bad as the movie theatres and its actual food... plus you get to watch two movies for less than $10 a ticket so its really hard to complain.
A lot of younger people who try to show off to whoever will look as I'm trying to leave, but the quality of the screen was good.
Great experience, make sure you have a spacious car and plenty of big spray. Bathrooms need renovating.
Had fun my six year old loved it. Food price is very reasonable. Cash at the door and card/cash at concessions. The only thing is the other screens are quite smaller than Big Mo so come for the main event.
My family loves it. There is a playground for the kids before the movies and we get to sit down and enjoy 2 films under the stars for a good price. My daughter calls it a picnic movie theater.
Great drive in. Cheap food friendly staff. Really clean. We had a great night
Its a fun time if you bring a blanket and snacks. The only thing about the place is the small single concessions which ends up making a 20 yard walk to get a small bag of popcorn into a 15 minute trip.
Amazing experience, kid and dog friendly, cost efficient and just a all around great place for all ages to enjoy movies, friends, good food and entertainment. The only bad part came from a group of young ladies who decided to make their own line to the restroom and cut in front of several children and others who had been patiently waiting. It's a sad day when adult woman feel so entitled they behave in this manner.
Cute little drive-in in what seems to be the middle of nowhere. The video and audio qualities where excellent. Bathroom facilities where not bad. Only complaint is the pricing of concessions. Definitely will go back in the future.
Great prices for newly released movies
Great time. Nice play area for kids, able to set up our truck to our comfort. We took our own food, but concession smell delicious. Movie screen was good, clear easily visible. Sound was clear. Bathrooms were clean. Looking forward to going again.
We love this place. My family goes several times a year, it never disappoints. If you have never been, it is a must go.
It brings back memories as a child and I get to share these same experiences with my children and grandchild. We had a great time as always.
Movie was great and food was on point.. But my refill drink wasn't free like they said it would be...
I love this place wish there was more of them, great for the family.
I came to the Monetta Drive in a little while back and I had an awesome experience for my first time at a drive in. Love the 2 movies for the price of one idea. My only complaint was the concession stand, things moved very slowly and we stood in line for about 40 minuets and missed a good portion of the first picture (luckily we'd already seen it). Other than that the staff was very friendly and we'll definitely be visiting again soon!
We try to go several times during the summer. It is the same price as a movie in a theater but you get two. You also get to bring your own food or have the option to get snacks from their canteen, which is great. Some of our best memories are from fun nights at the drive in. There are not too many left around so I love that we have one within 30 mins of us. If you have kids that can't sit still, no worries. They have a playground and they can move around outside or inside the car. There are restrooms close by and intermissions to stretch and do what ever you need to do. You are able to rent radios for sound of use your car radio. If your car battery gives out they will jump yours off. I can't say enough good things about this drive in. I hope they stick around forever.
Price is great for a double feature. Lines are long so get there early. Very small bathrooms. Food is good.
A fantastic deal. Don't worry about bringing food. The concessions are reasonable. Love that the cell service is spotty. It makes people watch the movie more and enjoy just being there.
A really fun place to take the family.
2 first run movies for less than the price of one, I can have all of my snacks and not go broke. BIg Mo is now my first choice for first run movies.
Perfect place to see a movie reasonable concessions
Great value and family fun. Double feature films and decent priced concessions. My family loves the drive-in
My first time going to a drive in was last night. It was a great experience. I recommend getting their about an hour or so early, because it fills up quick. For those with children, their is a playground their to keep them occupied while waiting on the movies to start. People were even throwing around a football, and others were walking their dogs. The concessions also open early, and going to them definitely added to the experince. Once the show was ready to start, everyone was quieted down, and asked not to be polite to everyone around them. Watching the movie outside on the big screen with the top down on my jeep was a great experience. The double feature for the price of one is also the best deal to be found anywhere around the area. This was easily a 5 star experience. I highly recommend it.
You would think as much money as they made on the Marvel movies. They would invest more on the property. NEED TO UPDATE...! RESTROOMS AND CONCESSION OUTDATED..... HAD TO WAIT 40 MINUTES ON 2 FRIES.. MISSED PARTS OF MOVIE... THEY WERE 10 …
Wish that I could listen to the movie without my car being on. Make sure to bring your own food, the convenience line is ridiculously long.
Simply the best! Great atmosphere
They usually have at least 4 of the top movies showing on the weekends. It's a great place to watch movies outside. It's a friendly place with a hometown vibe.
Nice night out for family!!! What you pay here for two or three movies is the price of one at regular theaters
Big Mo's is an Awesome experience for the entire family. Good old fashion family fun! My kids are in their 20's and this was their first experience at a drive in theater. They thought it was so wonderful! We arrived early had time to talk and laugh and relax! The food is off the chain good!!!!
ALWAYS so much fun visiting here and watching summer movies! Next time we will have to come on a Friday so we can stay up later to watch both :D
This place is Awesome! Always a double feature & always a great time! Can't get any better than that.
It was my first time at this drive-in and I would suggest getting there early. We got there about 7:45 and had to go about a mile down the street to get in the line to get in. You definitely need bug spray bc it is way out. I'm not sure if I would go again in the middle of summer with 3 kids. It was hot and we were all sweating even at night. I think the fall would be a better time to go. The picture on the screen was great and It seemed like you could see well from almost anywhere.
I'm a Jersey child grew up in Jersey never was able to experience a drive in movie and no movie I saw ever included shooting stars that were not on the screen of the movie. My first shooting star in Jersey I was so excited then I went to South Carolina at the big Mo's and saw 3 in the same night
What is not to love double feature sound on your car stereo and affordable concessions like a whole pizza for $12. God i love this place
Took the kids to the drive in theater and it was so much fun! Just turn your radio on to the station for your field and you get TWO features! Next time it’ll just be a date night but we definitely enjoyed our time! Will definitely return.
We saw two different movies for $9.00 per person. We tried the food at the concession stand and it was great. We had a great time and it was so much fun.
One of the very few drive ins left to enjoy. My family really like taking the time out during out long weeks to visit the Big Mo! It allows me to go back in time to my teenage years and sit back in the comfort of my car and watch a great movie without someone talking in my ear from the row behind me. Great place to get lost for a night.
Lots of fun! $9 per person (cash only) gets you through the gate. Concessions are relatively inexpensive, decent food, they take plastic. 3 screens and they try and theme each double feature with the same genre (action on screen 1, kids on 2, etc...) so you usually want to see both films. Very little light pollution in the area so the movies are almost as visible as a traditional theater. Family and pet friendly, playgrounds for the kids. They even show those old screen fillers before and between the features, hadn't seen that corny Coke choir ad in decades. Overall a great experience!
Nice place. Priced very reasonable for current double feature movies. Hotdogs at snack bar was excellent. All food items fairly priced. Well behaved customers. Good for kids.
We went there with our children for the very first time last weekend it was a blast! The bathroom lines are long as are the concessions stands but not over baring. Nice playground for the children. Very friendly folks we will definitely be back!
Say new lion kings it was great love drive i. Movies
Great place to see a movies for a great price, $9 a person. Three different screens usually showing double features. It's cash only for tickets but the concession stand for the first screen does take card. You can rent chairs and radios. Don't forget the bug spray!!
Cash only to enter! The drive was worth it. The field was laid out nicely and it wasn't very crowed. This is a great family activity and you can't go wrong with the price.
