If you haven't been lately its time to revisit the Crown Cinema. I took my boys to see a movie recently and I was so happy to see that there have been some major upgrades in quality. The screens appear to have been replaced and the equipment must have been upgraded as well because the movie was so much brighter and clearer than past visits. It was a MUCH better experience. The movie was a very popular movie and it was out at the Crown Cinema on opening day. No more waiting until the movie is old (which has not been an issue for awhile but I've seen some older reviews complaining about that). I've always appreciated the value aspect CC provides. As a family of 7 we can't justify going to the movies in most places. I give Crown Cinema 5 stars because it is a value bomb! The quality has vastly improved and of course the popcorn is awesome. The staff is always friendly. I love supporting local small business. Its something more people should do.

I've been going here since I was very little and it is a great establishment. Yes the screens could be mended and the seats replaced and the floors are a bit sticky, but they play an integral role in the community providing quality entertainment for all ages at a low price.

Audio entirely too loud. Children and adults alike needed to wear headphones. Otherwise everything was okay seats are a bit small but that's to be expected.

My daughter and I took my grandson and her grandaughter. It may be cheap and locally convience but this place smells,carpet needs to be remove,need better seating. My daughter and I both itch when we have been there.its best to take a sheet or blanket to put over your seat before sitting. I guess you get what you pay for....smh....no more for me!!!!

The movie theater wad great! Theater was clean, sound was crisp, etc. The price is so great! Although they don't have a wide selection, the price and friendly staff is well worth. The guy in the concession stand even assisted me in carrying my items to my seat when I ordered more popcorn and drinks than I could carry!! I guarantee a bigger town, and theater would not help like that!! I really enjoyed the movie and my date night/ bday dinner with my son!!

I personally enjoy it. It doesn't have all the modern upgrades as the much larger & newer cinemas. Still, his prices make all of the older furnishings worth it. Why pay $15 + at newer places when I can pay $7 tops for the same movie.

W love crown cinema $20 for 5 people admission and $14 for drinks and popcorn with a refill can't beat it. It would have cost at least$100 at the bigger theaters

We love the $1 movies during the summer. A great affordable activity to do with multiple children that want break the bank. Theater is older and nothing fancy but we don't mind. All that matters is it's clean and comfortable. $1 movies ROCK!! THANKS Crown Cinema.

why have a web page and not list the movies you are playing? The recording when you call is hard to make out what he is saying. all i want to know is what is playing and when so i can plan on going to the movies. i sure wish you guys would put your movies that are playing on your web site. might get more business if you put it out there for people to see. just saying ...we as the public like to have easy access to what is playing.,.,.,.,.,.,i feel pretty stupid i clicked on the facebook link and low and behold there is a listing for the movies. We like the Crown Cinema. It has been a part of Lancaster for many years. It is just as I remember it growing up. These smaller theatres are having a tough time just trying to keep up. Going to Columbia and Rock Hill cost an arm & a leg so I think we will stick with the Crown Cinema or Little Theatre in Camden, SC. As Alan Jackson sang, God Bless the little man!!!
