This Movie Theater is classified in the category of Movie theater.
If you don't need to see a movie when released ... this is the place to go. Regular price $3 ... two days a week $2. Great since been renovated.
Great prices.Movies that already played at big theater for big price .You can wait a month and watch them here for 3$
It's great movies are either #2 or $3 (depends on the day) but the cost of snacks and drinks are not lowered. ($6 for a small soda!). The bathrooms are clean but cold (at least the women's room is), and not all the faucets work. The faucets that do work have very low water pressure.
Funny place.....always something weird like the screen gets fuzzy or the ac is blasting or the heat is stifling or the film just stops. Always expect something. But for a couple of dollars it is very much worth the money!!!!
I do-not recommend going here!!! The seating and the hall is untidy!!!
Yes, the place is not perfect but think that they are allowing people that cannot afford expensive tickets to enjoy a decent movie theater and they deserve good reviews just for that.
Price of movies are excellent to watch on big screen. All seats are comfortable. Theaters always seem clean and no sticky floors. Staff always good to talk to.
Movies are cheap. Theaters are in rough shape and not always clean.
Cheap ticket prices and some good movies that came out this summer.
Amazing bang for your buck. $3 for any time of the day, $2 on Tuesday and Thursday. They have a great selection of movies and refreshments. Theatres are relatively small, but it definitely gets the job done if you're a movie lover on a budget! I really adore this place!
The theater isn't fancy, but, the movies are good and the popcorn was tasty!
Well the few games at the front are fun and popcorn was nice the girl bathroom dose not have tampons but chapstick and glow in the dark stick like why but it's cheap to watch a movie to see good movies
The price is good but the seats are not comfy and about 20 minutes of the movie was black the guy said he would rewind it but didn't so we missed some of the movie we could here it but there was no picture
Just to be clear. 5 stars for no BS movie experience. If you want to see movies for $3, this is the best place on planet. If you need all the bells and whistles, go elsewhere.
While the prices cant be beat for the tickets and I understand it's an older movie theater, there is no excuse for the lack of a thorough cleaning .
Really inexpensive movie tickets, concession is the normal overpriced rate you see in any theatre, but because the tickets are so affordable, I gladly pay for a drink and snack each time I go. The movies are somewhat new, with my busy life, it's nice because I tend to miss lots of good movies in theatre. The atmosphere could be much better. Pretty dirty looking. Seems they are in progress to improve these issues however.
Can't beat $3/ticket. However, popcorn and soda, not so cheap. That's where they get ya. A good place to see those movies you missed at Showcase or Cinemaworld.
Love the nachos. Tickets prices are beyond reasonable. Cinema needs remodeling though
Best place to watch movies that you're not sure of, before they leave the big screen...Or rewatch a flick ya love!
A run down dump- but SO cheap including concessions, you have to love it! Perfect place to catch that movie you missed before it leaves theaters.
Well, you can't really expect much out of a $2 theater... The seats smell urine, the floor is sticker than fresh tar, the employees are pretty much middle schoolers, and the movies are older than dirt!
Not bad. Can't really complain for $3.
It's OK for $2 Tues - $2 Thur all day and night. You can't beat that price anywhere for s movie theatre.
Price is cheap and I see why was afraid to sit in these uncomfortable chairs not to mention the bathroom.. I dont know where they got the pictures with everything looking so beautiful but it is October 17 2019 and I see there are older pictures of the bathroom with the same busted up sinks...
Good cheap movies.
Cheap prices a little older and a little dirtier but doesn’t take away from the movie experience
Five stars for the price. Many of us are on a strict budget and a second run cinema while not fancy offers the opportunity to see movies on the big screen for a reasonable price.
If you can wait a little while to see a movie, you save over 80% on tickets.
Worst theatre I have ever seen in my life. The theatre stinks very badly. It does not deserve a single star.
Worse theatre. Save urself folks, dont go here. It just sucks. I don't think there is even a single thing about this theatre that I like. The seats are dirty and filthy and it smells in here. The washrooms are filthy and uncleaned. The popcorn they serve is a day old atleast if not older. Avoid this theatre guys.
Who doesnt love a 3 dollar movie teather!
A little run down, but a good place to take the kids to see an affordable movie.
Good time food and snacks are pricey though
Price was right for seeing a movie on a budget. Was not pleased with the cleanliness of the bathroom- no soap in either dispenser! Yuck! The specific theatre we sat in was quite warm (lobby was noticeably cooler) & the seats were just ok, comfort wise!
Seats and smell aren't great but shouldn't complain for 3 bucks
Cheap tickets but expensive snacks and sub par seats.
Please do yourself a favor and DONT GO to this place. OMG!! I can’t explain how dirty and how bad it smells. Just don’t goooo!!
Haven't been in a while. But always a good place to go see a movie for a good price.
We need newer movies!
Best place for movies after they left the big theater's $2-3.50 admission. Can't beat that anywhere.
Great family night need to be slightly updated
It's not modern but you can't beat the prices!
This past saturday my wife and myself went to see the movie dont let go at 1:35 she got the blue ice slushy which she always does the lady rings us up $8.10 for the same ice i always pay 6.50 for then she take a sip it was disgusting watery and flavorless she went back to the stand to see if it could be switched to a Fountain drink we was told no they cant asked for a refund she said no then she saidnahe can switch it to the pink icee after already being told before we got the blue one that the pink was no good and wouldnt make a full cup asked to speak to the manager or boss was told she will not give out his number safe to say after all the years of spending money with the business i will not return
I'm sure this was a great theater at one time. It's unfortunately run down. The fabric on the walls was tattered and torn, there was a row of three seats that were simply upended and leaning against the row in from of them, but worst of all: when I sat down there was trash left in the cupholders and on the floor from the previous show. The ticket prices were very cheap though.
Awesome cheap and quiet
Fairly new movies at $3 for everyone. Great deal!
You get what you pay for. Can't complain, prices are very affordable as well as good movie selections.
This retro-style cinema has low ticket prices and is right on the east providence line.
Can't beat the prices
The last time I was here was just plain awful. There were 3 kids about 10 years old in the theatre a few rows up front, who were talking extremely loud, and shining laser pointers, and iPhones at the wall, and at some points, at the screen itself. I went to complain, and the kids were given a warning. But, they resumed doing what they were doing. The movie was almost over when I complained again. The employee went in saying he would sit behind them, and would tell them to leave, if he caught them in the act. Just as he sat down, the credits started rolling. He didn't even apologize. He just shrugged his shoulders! I was also informed that they have no security guards, or ushers on duty. I've read some reviews of people having similar experiences, and they were worse than mine. What really makes me angry, is that I don't think the kids were even banned, which was what should've happened. The place is also a pigsty. I would recommend that if anyone wants to go out, see a move, and have a wonderful time, you would be better off taking your business else where. A place that's more presentable, clean, has security, (like it's supposed to) and where the employees do their jobs right. Even if the prices here are cheap, you shouldn't bother.
Great quality, and not to mention the prices!!! ♡
Do not like theater 10 very uncomfortable and the seats do not go back..left with a headache
Listen if you missed a movie's main run in cinema, this is the place, fork over the $3 and see all the movies that you want to watch. CASH ONLY FOR HERE. If you try to use a card, they have a $15 minimum on credit cards and you end up dropping a decent amount of $$$ on food you don't really want.
Great Place for Cheap Price...
The movie was good but inside the actual theater was extremely filthy I wasn't sure exactly where to sit after spotting my light. There was popcorn on the wall and in the chairs of the two back rows and the ground was extremely sticky. The prices for the movie was great. Also some of the chairs were broken.
Great place to see a fairly new recent movie at a really great price. Is Affordable for an entire family to go at once, great opportunity for family time.
For three dollars you get about a three dollar movie watching experience. Small theatres, old sound systems, small old chairs, only plays older movies. But great for a cheap movie in the area!
Good place for short time
You can't beat the price for this vintage movie theater. Seating is comfortable with plenty of out front parking. Kid movies tend to pack the house. Snacks are costly like all theaters with plenty of other low cost, local options.
I’ve been to this movie theater and it’s a really good price for a ticket. I don’t want to spend 20 + dollars to go to a movie theater.
Awful customer service. I asked for a med drink and also asked what the price was and when he told me $7.50 for a med. soda I said no thank you and because I handed my $$ over already they refused to give me my change. I paid $20 for 2 tickets. They won’t give $ back
Place was filthy. Cheap and you can see why. Out dated and completely gross. Came home and made the kids shower at once. I could red box the same movies and be in my clean home.
This is old theatre. Needs upgrade. But you can still watch movie with theatric sound effect. Very old seats and seem to be have a bit of fragrance.
Awesome experience! Reminds me of the good ole days.
Great place for families who are on a tight budget. Affordable time out with the kids. There should be more theater's like this one around.
I love this cinema so much the prices are cheap but the quality of the movies and the cinema in general are amazing!
Not being a football fan. My wife and I went to see Welcome to Marwen. A total cost of 6.36 with tax. People modern digital movies don't suffer in second run.
You get what you pay for. As long ss your expectations are in line you will enjoy
Tickets are $3 which is great, but theater is way too cold
Cheap movie
Cheap on Tue and Thurs. Sticky floors, crappy sound, cold AF so bring a hoodie.
Not a bad experience. Tickets are around 3 bucks, so you get to enjoy the movie experience without breaking the bank. Sometimes can be a little dirty, or have seats broken. For the cost though, well worth it.
Staff very friendly, seats comfortable. Entryway into theater #4 needs to be cleaned up and painted. Restrooms need repairs and paint. But, good for $3 movies!
Air conditioning doesn't work The sound quality is pathetic The only thing going is the staff But they can't do much if theatre is no good It is my worst experience in a movie theater
For the price, cant really complain..
What i found underneath...are they serious?! clean the place up! THAT is trashy unsanitary also. There is no excuse for it. if i saw this walking in i would have walked right back out. thank god i barely touched it no soap running water or knobs to turn water on anyway in bathroom. This is my third review. The first wasnt too bad. until i started noticing things. Then i posted another review. Looking at the reviews has left me thinking. 5 stars? 4 stars? 3 stars? 2 stars? Its sad to give them 1. The place screams "health department" i cant understand people to be honest. This place is uneceptable! Never again. ugh.
Can't beat the East Side. Brown University, excellent food variety, onside vendors, real happy atmosphere
Classic, nothing fancy movie theater! 2 dollars a movie Great with kids on a rainy day. Never to packed
Best deal in New England
Tickets were dirt cheap!!! Candy and drinks, however, were car payment levels like any other theater. Odor was like a Chinese restaurant and think I sat on a wet spot. So why five stars? Did I mention the tickets were DIRT cheap? Bring sacks, drinks and a bathing suit. It's worth it.
Nice
Not too amazing, but super cheap so we go all the time
Cheap price and not so crowded
The best second-run theater around.
In "shambles" is a great word from another review. They're not even running the air conditioners in the theaters anymore. I had to get the concession guy to keep the door open so I could breathe! There are no faucets that are working in the ladies room and half of them are missing altogether! Must say the staff was really nice however .....
I went to watch the Incredibles 2 with my family & it was super funnyy! & the food here is great .. Definitely coming back
Seems recently renovated in the theaters, that was much needed. Second run movies, but great price for a group or kids. $2.00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. $3.00 every other night. Snacks, popcorn and drinks are also reasonable.
You get what you pay for $5 tickets
Good screen, really good sound, great price...you can see a movie without having to go in the first three weeks and afford to buy a snack!
Good for it's purpose. They accept movie pass. Theater does need renovations.
Save up an extra $6.50 and go to seekonk cinemas on a Tuesday. I understand it is a movie theater for movies that have left other movie theaters. So if you want to go solely because you want to see a movie in theaters but it is out of regular theaters or you have 6 kids and on a budget, than awesome it's cheap and a perfect place for that however, expect not the best experience. The theater rooms itself are small. But I've never seen them filled hop which is good. The sound quality is decent. The projector is loud and some screens have holes in it. The floors are sticky and I dread seeing the seats with the lights on. The seats don't recline either. The seats are practically leveled so, if your a kid, your short, or have someone tall sitting infront of you it's very hard to see. The bathrooms are DISGUSTING and HORRIBLE. More than half of the sinks have no faucet handles. And the ones that do barely have a stream of water. There is NEVER any soap in the dispensers or sometimes no paper towels which makes you wonder about the employees handing you food. If you decide to go to this theater I 100% recommend going to the bathroom before you drive there or holding it in. I can never get an employee on the phone. I've tried finding out prices on popcorn and booking a theater room (still not sure if they do). On Tuesdays and Thursdays there tickets are $2 which would be an amazing deal. If the place wasn't so disgusting. But i guess it's the old saying "You get what you paid for"
The price is great, but the temperature in the theater was too cold and the movie was not loud enough. Regular prices for concessions . You get what you pay for, but if you handle up, a great place to take kids at a family price
No fluff inexpensive movies when you want to see it big screen not HDTV.
This is a typical movie theater. I paid $3.00 for an afternoon movie but the popcorn and drink was like $12.00! It's just ok. Seats were comfortable. The day I went the air conditioner was broken and it was warm, kind of uncomfortable. They do have the latest movies. I will go back if the opportunity presents itself. Handicap friendly. Huge parking lot guarrenties you a good parking place.
Super cheap tickets though concessions are still expensive. Amusingly retro second run theatre, not amazing but no complaints.
To be frank, this theater doesn’t even deserve one star, I wonder how this theater is allowed to play shows. The walls have holes, there is no AC in the theater, it was suffocating, try to have a look at the ceiling in the hallway, the floor is sticky. I don’t even know if I am carrying any bugs home tonight. This theater needs an inspection for sure.
My boyfriend and I go once a week and now it $27 to bowl for as long as you like which to me is accommodating to the consumer!
East 10 theater is one of those lost places that need to be found. I started going there years ago, when it wasn't as pretty as it is now. In the last 3 to 4 years, the new owners have really spruced up the theater's, they now have digital picture and sound. Depending on what theater your in the sound still might not be as good as the bigger theaters, but the picture is gorgeous. Let me tell you, for $3.00 you just can't go wrong, oh and on Wednesday, free popcorn, what more can I say..
I was the only one in a 9:10 p.m. Thurs show. It felt like owning my own theater and no one cared that I used my voice to text throughout the movie! Staff was friendly and efficient. Popcorn was pricey, but combined with a $2 ticket I enjoyed my evening.
$3 movies! It's pretty empty on weekdays.
Not bad, you get what you pay for
Great place to take your family on a budget.
Nice bargain movies. Kid friendly.
My favor place, nice and clean, no too expensive
Great place to bring your kids if you are on a budget
Muffley speaker system. Screens need repair (distracting hole in one screen, some creaky seating, but not uncomfortable. Super cheap ticket price.
Old School ketchy movie house. Tickets so cheap, you'll be crazy not to check it out. Would of been 5 stars if I hadnt seen the nasty clogged up toilet in the Ladies' Room and please fix the handles on the sink. Otherwise, it's a waaaay throw back to the good ole' days. Be sure to check out the graffiti in the Ladies' Room. Saw a few phone numbers on the wall!
Older theatrical releases for cheap. Can't go wrong
Cheap n just right
The best cheapest old school movie theatre ever. Movies that are playing have been out all year and floors are sticky but it's just nice to see a place like this still in operation. Most cinemas are either sterile overpriced metropolis-like creations or have been redone into art house places. This is like a trip back to the old days with overpriced candy and graffiti on the bathroom wall. Watch movies all day long for under $10!
Great prices, fairly comfortable.
Excellent in cleanliness beverages are high in price same with all of the snacks. Good thing about the largest popcorn is there are free refills. The young male cashier was slow so come a little earlier
Cheap awesome little place been coming here for years
Great cheap place! Needs a little bit of cleaning!
Very good results. My PT was very knowledgeable and I give him and Healy Physical Therapy a 5.
Love this place!! Certain movies u wanna see on big screen but not spend a tun. This place is perfect for that. Or for small kids that might not last the whole movie?? This is the place!!
I just love it here so much. Reminds me of being a kid. Lame old movies for only $2! They updated the seating but the Icees still suck. Popcorn is so good here.
Staff are nice, shout out to Brian and Eeron, MVPs
Kids love to bowl !
Ok, we go here bc it's cheap. The admission is around $3.00. The snacks, of course, are ridiculous but not like the Showcase. They play movies that aren't at the big cinemas anymore. The cinema rooms are smaller (some VERY small) and there's always lots of chairs with broken arms and no drink cup available! I wouldn't say they "allow" you to bring water in but I always do and we share 1 big soda. The nachos are great. We all get them everytime. I think admission is $2.00 on Tuesdays. Oh, today is Tuesday! Hmm...
Cheap movie theater but they do a monthly Rocky horror live show that's pretty good.
This is a second run theater. Shows are inexpensive. The theaters are small. Seats have cup holders.
So I have a love/hate relationship with this theater. Sometimes I wonder whether the sticky feeling on the floor is butter or from something worse. Some theaters have noisy projectors too. However, I love that the movies only cost about 2 or 3 dollars. I've had also very delightful experiences here as well with no interrupting noises and not sticky feelings on the ground or chairs. Not sure if it depends on what day, who is working or whether I need to mention it to the staff. I feel like if I did I'd get a response like "you get what you pay for".
$2 movies!! I need to see something every week! Cheaper than on demand and on the BIG screen
Good place but it was like sitting outside in the winter time.. was freezing..
Not bad for the price
Dilapidated. Seats are uncomfortable, and the place is bottom rung, but it's tolerable if you just want to catch a second run movie.
It was a nice theater however didn't want to eat anything there as there was water dripping all over the concession stand.from the ceiling.
Place pretty much sucks not bad place to go if you're on a tight budget and it's a rainy day, and there's a movie you wanted to see that you missed cuz they're usually a couple of months behind and you go next door to the dollar storeand get your candy and you get a movie and a candy and something to drink for two people for under ten bucks. Went there about two months ago in the guy actually had the balls to tell me they were out of medium cups so you had to get a large soda for 775
Nice theatre.. definently needs to upgrade out dated seating in theatre and other esthetics but cant beat 3.00 movies!! Just dont buy the popcorn.. very stale and were you save in ticket prices they make up in consessions!
Its a great price n somemovies are great some are dark lot of teens just hanging around
I gave it 5 stars because it is soooooo cheap to see a movie. The place is showing it's age.
hole in the wall, but decent seats if you search for them and prices you can't beat for off prime movies.
Great prices, just have to check on movie availability. However, we went on a rainy summer friday, and there was a summer camp day trip. They could have increased the volume to accommodate for it, as it was hard,to hear even without kids sewing at hugs.
Nice place and inexpensive.
Great place for reduced price movies
Theatre was great. 3.00 tickets, clean, staff was friendly, and screens and sound system were well maintained. Best bargain for seeing movies in the state
It is a little old and could use some polishing up, but I've been going there since I was a child and it brings back good memories
Cheap movie. But $14 for a soda & popcorn
The ticket price and Food price this place rocks, movie quality and sound is good.
If you want to see films that you missed at the theaters like Showcase and Regal, East Providence 10 is the place to go. It's cheap so don't expect up to date surroundings. The place is a throwback to the 70's which is sort of cool in a way.
We don't go often but always play catch up on movies we missed at bigger theaters. Good place to go never really crowded and see top movies.
Good movie selection
Can't go wrong for $2.50 a movie. You pay for what you get! It's not bad!
A little dilapidated and in need of TLC, but still worth it if you wanna see a movie for only $3
Bathrooms mess as well as sound speakers on floor and duck tape seats
The service is efficient and friendly. The upgraded seats are comfy. Great value- totally affordable. The snacks, popcorn, & drinks are same as all other theaters- pricey!
Say what you will about the shape of the place , but if I want to see a movie and not shell out $30 This is the go to place. The popcorn alone is worth going for. Real made in house not shipped in giant trash bags damned good popcorn . It's a second run theater so you get what you pay for, but for a afternoon treat and to see one of the big films on the big screen but not have to take out a damned house loan to do it, it gets the job done. I love this place and have been going since I moved to RI. Never change the popcorn !!!!!!!!
While the place is a little dirty, the employees are really friendly, the prices are great and the theatre's showrooms are small which I personally love because it doesn't get too cold or warm. It's also a great theatre because if you didn't get to see the latest movies when they were showing, fear not! Cinema 10 has got you covered because they hold 'em for a few months afterward! I definitely recommend this place and I've been going to it for years, even back when it was the "Patriot Theatre".
Good price... comfortable seats. Bathrooms need work
Cheap movies and good. Food can be nasty and the theaters can be very dirty.
Average theatre with old seats.
Go here allot wet use too great place for movie not so great for drinks and food way over priced bit to see a movie Can't beat it
Nice and cheap.good for the pockets always new movies
We go here often to enjoy the movies for $3 a ticket. Movies are older but still the same. Food prices are the same as other theaters. Not new but family friendly
You can't beat the price here for movie tickets. Very reasonable compared to other places. I bring my snacks and some drinks for the kids.
Quick service
