Love this theater. Very friendly staff. Clean facility. Love the annual popcorn bucket deal. And $5 Tuesdays make it possible for those of us on fixed incomes to enjoy a nice afternoon out. Plenty of room; comfortable seating. Great movies. Thank you Phoenix Theater!!!!

Staff was very kind and servings of popcorn are generous! Seats are not as comfortable as the theater hasn't been updated recently and the theater I was in seemed to have a glare on the screen. I still enjoyed my experience and highly recommend going on $5 Tuesdays!

Avengers Endgame was awesome!!! Great place to see a movie. It's only $5.00 dollars for a ticket on Tues and a large popcorn was only $8.50. Very comfortable seats. Lots of room. Enjoy!!!

I've been coming here since I was a teenager. Most people dont even know its still around, which is great for you if you are willing to sacrifice some comfort in return for the ability to avoid the crowds you would get at the "premium theaters." & I'll continue to go here for as long as it's around to enjoy a movie & avoid the crowds.

Definitely an older movie theater, but still one of the best around. For the most part everything is on the cleaner side and the food and drink selection is pretty up to date (With alcohol options as well). Definitely not a high end theater but it's in a great location which keeps us coming back.

This movie theater has to be one of the most enjoyable places to go to. First off the staff here is very friendly and nice to everyone as if they know you. They keep the whole establishment clean from the restrooms to the rows of seats in the theater. They also offer movie deals on Tuesday tickets for 5 dollars. They also offer events for children 2 times a week as a free kids movie. Their are two options on those days usually one for smaller children and one for older children. I would recommend this theater over a lot of others in the area for price and comfort alone. The cleanliness is a very nice bonus.

My wife and I frequent here. we are senior and have been going here for a couple of years. We like the fact that every Tuesday all tickets are $5.00. Plus my wife joined the popcorn bucket program. Bring back your bucket and a refill is $4.75. Good deal

I don’t usually do reviews on these, but today I went to the movies at this movie theater with my family and I have two siblings in wheelchairs and we come to this theater a lot, mostly every time there’s a new movie out that we want to see and today we probably had one of the greatest experiences here ever. All the employees were so nice and kind to us. Especially this one employee, I didn’t catch his name but he was so nice to us and helped us out in the best way possible by helping us to the room where the movie was being played and carrying our popcorn in for us because my hands were full with the drinks and my mom and brother were wheeling my two wheelchair bound siblings into the theater room and he just went totally out of his way to help us and it was just a great experience thanks to the employee that helped us out.

I haven't been to this theater in quite a while. It has deteriorated since my last visit. Filthy dirty. Broken seat backs in the theater drinks at the bar have gotten smaller and more expensive . It used to feel like a real treat going to this theater but that was not the case this time. Great movie. Great picture and sound quality,. The place needs updated for sure. The bar needs to be a treat, not an after thought. Clean! Please!!!! Everything !!!!

I'd like to forewarn any readers this may come across as scathing. Staff is great. Management is not. Popcorn is subpar. Me and my girlfriend stopped by today for a movie. Initially the experience was very pleasant, an older gentleman gave us our tickets and was very funny and charismatic. The minute we got to the food court to order popcorn and a soda things became odd. A younger lady took our order, but was stopped by a manager (I assume as he wore a sort of suit and had a button down shirt), who proceeded to then correct her on her hair being down in front of us. This in and of itself wouldn't be an issue if the tone and verbiage he used was befitting of a manager, instead, he was curt at best, and dismissive / seeming to aim to embarrass her at worst. Having been a manager myself at multiple points in my life, I empathize with the young lady as the way the situation was handled was horribly unprofessional. In the future, as I'm sure someone will read this, issues with your staff ought to be handled in private, with tact and consideration, after the situation has passed. Not during and in front of your guests. We then got into the theatre and began to wait for our movie to begin where my girlfriend discovered a hair in her popcorn. Working in food service myself I'm understanding of mistakes like this happening and went back to ask for a new bag of popcorn. A helpful blonde lady was very apologetic and assisted me in the company of the manager, who didn't utter a word or acknowledge the situation, but was within earshot. Upon returning to the theatre my girlfriend found yet another hair. It was at this point I decided to write the review. It's one thing for a simple mistake to be made regarding hair in food, and while we were given another, finding hair twice is inexcusable. At the very least emulating a guise of consideration (emptying the popcorn and making new popcorn) would have been the proper thing to do. If not for quality of service, then according to food safety regulations. Overall I feel for the staff who work there. Most of my experiences have been pleasant, if not with little bumps here and there. Fortunately there are many movie theaters wherein the food is better and the staff isn't berated in public.

I like this place. Nice variety of food, free drink & popcorn refills. Bathrooms are convenient, and multi locations (so you're not rushing around, getting lost, or missing much of the movie). LOTS of parking spaces. A few arcade games to play as well

Honestly, my favorite theatre. Very clean, very comfortable, and best of all, the quality of the movies on the screens are beyond HD. Seriously, go to Cinemark, then go here and witness the difference. At Cinemark, for some reason, the movies are always slightly blurry and pixelated. At Phoenix Big, the movies are always crystal clear. Sure, you could go to a "nicer" theatre, but if you care about the movie going experience, you have to come here. Nothing beats the HD quality of the movies here.

Chartiers is a great theater. There are no packed venues. The poocorn is hot, with plenty of butter. The comes are ice cold. The cash register dollies always smile and say sir. I love it there.

I often visit this theatre for Big Name movies. It doesn't have the newest or best seats for a theatre, but it never seems overcrowded and you can get tickets last minute. Certain popcorn and drink specials offer free refills. Not to forget the people who work there who have always been very friendly.
