Had a wonderful experience here...very clean establishment, well decorated and has a definite old time charm to it but rest assured it is a state of the art movie theater. I was inclined to inform the manager of what a great place he runs. Very inexpensive too as compared to the amc theaters im used to.

So I haven't actually been to see a movie here in at least 6 or 7 years but I'm glad I went this time. They have the fancy new reclining seats that are pretty comfy (found maybe be a tad bit wider for maximum comfort) and the only negative thing I really have to say is that if someone is leaving to get snacks or use the restroom during a movie and they're closing their seat it makes a lot of distracting noise for about 15 seconds. Other than that, my experience overall was very positive. It's a little expensive, but I'm not surprised and not criticizing it due to the upgrades they've made since the last time I was there. Great date night idea. 4/5.

You need to join the movie club for 9 dollars a month you get a movie credit which pays for the membership itself and 20 percent all your food and drinks plus other movie tickets for 8.99 which can save u a lot of money if you have kids and go to the movies 1 or more times a month. Let's put it this way I save over 10 dollars on food and drinks everytime I go with my wife or son I save even more if it's all 3 of us. It's just a great way to save.

It's never that crowded... The chili cheese fries are absolutely amazing it's a very very comfortable place to watch a movie whether alone with a family or with a significant other

Easily the best theatre in the Scranton area. Clean, roomy, comfortable (and reservable) seats, good service, and reasonable prices. Free refill with the large popcorn is a nice touch.

We drive the extra 15 miles from home to experience the amazing improvements over other theaters in the area. Love Cinemark! Top notch which includes a starbucks, very comfortable recliners, clean, awesome staff, and police presence most of the times we visit.

Best place in the area to go watch a movie. The reclining leather seats are huge. Plenty of room and amazingly comfortable. The people are awesome and the restrooms are kept clean. I went with my brothers to go see Detective Pickachu. Great movie, brought back some good childhood memories. If you haven't seen it and grew up with Pokemon and now your kids are into it, go see it! Service Dog tip: Purchase the handicap companion seat next to the wheelchair accessibility spot. Your buddy will have a spot out of the walk way. Enjoyed seeing some movies at this theater. Love the seating - it’s very comfortable and well thought out. You can’t see the people in front of you, all you see is screen. A very immersive experience. I’d recommend getting the app, signing up for the rewards program and buying tickets online. You can save time not having to wait in line and save money (through rewards).

If you haven't been there in a while, you're in for a shock. First, they now reserve seats. Not a fan of it. It can make it hard to find decent seats together with family since people can reserve their seats online and don't even have to be there to do it. So those jerks who roll in after the movie starts can literally hold the good seats hostage. Second, they now have recliners. They come with the regular ticket prices. They're very comfortable but I dislike how close everybody is to you now. People used to try to put a seat between you and their group to be more comfortable for everybody. But now they can't. Third, they now serve booze! YAY! Now the next time you have to sit through a kid's movie, you can make it bearable with some beer!

If you want to watch a movie with comfortable seats and more quality than your normal theater, this Cinemark is definitely worth a visit. I went here once or twice, but the trip was most definitely worth it for our experience.

My husband and I went to watch a movie for date night and had a bunch of teenage kids laughing and whispering through the whole movie. We let the manager know and he said that there was nothing he could do about it. If I wanted to listen to bunch of kids laughing while I am watching a movie I would told stay home. Will never come here again. I will let other people know about our experiences.

Been going here since they first opened 20+ years ago. Love the new comfortable recliners. It's more about comfort then fitting as many ppl in as possible. Sound is perfect. Always clean even the bathrooms.

Clean, friendly staff, helpful staff, food was fresh, only complaint is the movie next door kind of interrupted a few things in my movie. Considering it was Avengers End game they shouldn't have had 2 loud movies next to each other.

I would rate it higher but not kept up really well with cleanliness.. when you see spilled popcorn on the floor for 30 minutes and no staff sweep it up says something. So why four stars well let give you the following reasons.. The staff other wise were helpful and courteous. The theater has reclining chairs that are very comfortable..It is not extremely crowded or busy..You pick your seats ..They have discounts and a membership club that you basically pay the price of a movie and month and you get a ticket and you can save them so if you want you can have you and friends come to a movie you want to see and not spend much. They also have a free refill on your popcorn and drinks take advantage of it before you leave. They have a restaurant inside as well as arcade which you need to get a card to play which is in the arcade which is all self help even prize redemption. The bathrooms are okay but if you are handicapped like myself the handicap stalls are to small I could barely get my chair into stall and had a difficult time getting back into my chair after. Over all nice, not very crowded, not overly priced theater.

Don't get to the movies often but when I do this the spot. After they upgraded the reclining seats and choose your seat option, it has made it more enjoyable. Wide variety of times offered for the different movies being shown. I just recently noticed they now serve alcohol. From beer, wine, to alcohol infused sluhsis.

Always a great experience here. XD is worth the extra cost. The popcorn is delicious & they use real butter. You watch your movie in a comfortable reclining seat. But what's really awesome is being able to reserve seating online and pre-order tickets & seating for movie premieres! This cinema is a must go.

This has nothing to do with the movie...never go the day a major picture opens. There are alot of disrespectful kids and people in the movies when it's full. Talking and screaming during a film I paid 50$ for me and my family to see. Very rude people

The assigned seating when there is little or no people in the theater is bull. I have no idea where I want to sit until I get into the theater and see the lay out, where other people are sitting and the size of the screen. The last time I was there and voiced my frustration I was treated rudely by the individual selling tickets. Today I'm going to Movies 14 who doesn't make you pick your seat ahead of time. If you want my business back, do away with the assigned seating nonsense.

One of the more expensive theaters in the area, with sound being quieter and more front focused than I am accustomed to, but the best seats. Very comfortable. Soda was of good quality with good syrup mix, and popcorn was light and airy with flavorful butter. 4 stars. Do attend.

Very, very nice seating. All power recliners, with lots of room in front of every row. Walls between the rows, so you don't have to worry about the back of your seat being kicked. Popcorn is always fresh and yummy. Excellent theater.

This place is great! We live over an hour away and this is the place we go to. There are no theaters like this in our area. The place is huge providing lots of options for movies. There is an arcade and Starbucks/ice cream shop to entertain you while you wait for your movie. The seats are very comfy lounge seats that recline. The sound system is one of the best I've heard in any movie theater. The place has been very clean every time we've been there. It has plenty of restrooms so you don't miss anything.

We always have a great experience at the Cinemark! On our most recent visit to see Endgame, one of the staff moved to the side to quickly fill my brother's popcorn refill. The lines were completely packed, so this random act of kindness saved my brother from missing more than 5 minutes of the movie. Thank you!

The seating is amazing! The rest of the facility is top notch. Plenty of choices for food and snacks and they also have alcoholic beverages now. Easy to get to right off of interstate 81 and is surrounded by a lot of shopping and eating opportunities.

Really comfy seats, wall behind you so no one hits your seat. Plenty of room in front so people can move past without difficulty. Expansive concession area, arcade and a little specialty shop where you can get coffee, cookies and ice cream. They even have a bar with beer on tap and bottles and wine by the cup.

Of all the Movie Houses in my area this one by far is the best and most affordable... It is comfortable, clean, attractive, roomy, many seats and you never have to worry about anyone stepping over you or kicking the back of your head/seat...the pricing is acceptable and has I believe 13-15 theatres...the snack bar has a decent selection and enough not to run short during your favorite show on your special day out .... There isn't enough to say that would be complete and convincing enough to get you out to see a movie that you will really enjoy at the Theater... So when you do and it's your 1st time there drop me a line telling me how much you enjoyed yourself & what you went to see...

This low star review is because I literally had a grizzly bear lounging in the chair next to me. He was lively during the most compelling scenes of my movie. Making noise from all ends of his body. Belching and farting from all the snacking he did. He finished the last 30 minutes in a hibernation state sawing wood as the final credit went to roll.

David Connors is the worst supervisor this place can have. He does not know how to talk to the customers and he should not be working in customer service if he can't learn how to respectfully talk to the Cinemark customers.
