This is one of the better movie theaters in the south hills unlike Amc 10 bethel park. Since the theater was updated it was much nicer than it used to be the staff are nice and the theater and eveything else was clean. My only complaint is that the theaters can be a little bigger.

This is probably the best theater in the South Hills. The lobby, theaters and bathrooms have always been very clean. The concession foods are expensive, but that is the case wherever you go it seems. Some people have commented that the employees aren’t friendly. I mean they aren’t Chic-fil-A employee friendly, but they are in no way rude. The only draw back to this theater is the arm rest between seats don’t raise, so if you plan on snuggling with your sweetie, it may be uncomfortable, if not impossible.

If it weren't for two nagging issues I have, I would be giving this theater a five star review. The staff is kind and attentive, popcorn is fresh, prices are affordable if a bit escalated, LEATHER seats are cloud-cozy, and the overall design of the theater is to be lauded. HOWEVER... Two recent trips to this theater have left me in something of confusion, and maybe even a tidbit of shock. Number one takes place while I was seeing the Friday night showing of Tully at this theater, in auditorium 1. Every five minutes or so the video would oddly glitch for a little less than a split second. Meaning in this case the screen would go black then revert quickly to the film. The audio was not affected by this. I suggest AMC's management to look into this, as it was quite frankly distracting at first (although I inevitably got used to it as the movie progressed). Number two, the 11:10am Sunday showing of Eighth Grade. Something wonky about the center (dialogue) channel. To my ears (I'm an audiophile, so I'm privy to how movie theater surround sound systems work) all of the spoken dialog in the center channel and such not only came through as if it was being played from a Five Below Bluetooth speaker, it had also been playing thru the left front channel. Very strange, and this was auditorium 4 by the way. The good news is that the video glitch issue that plagued Tully's showing was nowhere to be seen throughout this one. So, like I stated above, great theater on its conventional merits. It just needs some work in the technical / projection departments.

This is a decent theater that seems to be less crowded than the standalone AMC down the road. There are less screens, the theaters are a bit dated with non reclining chairs but have plenty of leg room, and the screens are rather small. The staff was extremely nice and helpful though.

I have spent 30 minutes on the website trying to find a means to call someone AT THE THEATER about scheduling a group visit. Any phone number I find does not work. I have brought large groups in the past to this theater but it seems like they do not want to make this easy. Why remove the human element and the chance to ask questions to an actual employee? Frustrating past and potential future customers is a poor business model

This is directed at AMC as a company but also followed by poor customer service in theater. Purchased ticket for wrong day by accident busy at work etc, etc. We explained this at theater and got no help there. Took complaint to AMC as directed by theater. Long story short they have no way of knowing if ticket was used or not (Not sure why tickets exsist) Could not get even a credit for another day. Customer service is dead.

Our favorite place to go to the movies as a family. The seats are comfortable and it's usually not too packed in. Food prices are the selame as any AMC. They have a great 4PM to 5PM ticket price that makes it that much more attractive to go with the whole family.

It is a nicely renovated theater in a extremely nice specialty mall. All first run theaters are expensive. Always have been and always will be. That goes for tix, popcorn, beer, etc. etc. The venues are well maintained and they host a nice mix of movies for only having six screens. No complaints.

We live across town and after 25 minutes of hunting for this theater with our Google maps we gave up . We were eventually successful , however the movie had long started . We returned the next night . We were shocked by the prices . Using our senior discount and getting our usual popcorn and drinks we spent almost $20 more than we are accustomed to . This was not a reserved seating theater , the seats did not recline ...why the hefty prices ?!

It's a great theatre. Comfy seating. Every time I've been there though, the staff seems really inconvenienced to serve alcohol and just generally not happy. I've been approximately 20 times and it's pretty consistent in my experience.

This is a very clean theater BUT the movie going experience is not so great. The seats are comfortable but have very minimal recline, causing you to look more at the bottom of the screen. While the picture was good, it was somewhat ruined by the extremely bright exit signs.

I went to the movies a few days ago and when I woke up the morning after the movies, I had HORRIBLE food poisoning. My fiance was cleaning up while I was recovering and he grabbed the popcorn bag we had taken home to discover black mold at the bottom of the bag. We called the theater to which we were told "Ok. Well there's nothing we can do about it". We mentioned that we just wanted them to be aware so they could take care of the situation and the manager just replied "OK" and ended the conversation. Highly do not recommend this dirty, gross theater, and at least do not recommend eating!

Absurd amount of ads prior to movie. Waited over 30 mins after "start time" to see our film. 15 minutes it expected, but not that long. Either show up quite late, or go to another place. P.S. Nobody cares about your melodramatic coke ads.

I went to a noontime showing of The Shape of Water 2 weeks ago.This would be the 1st showing of The day. Every row of seats has spilled cups and popcorn on the seats and on the floor. It was actually hard to find a clean seat and the theater was empty. One would think the ideal clean-up time would be at the beginning or the end of the day. Disappointed.

While I like coming to this theater because it is a relaxing location and not overcrowded, the sound in the individual theaters is simply not loud enough. I'm not sure if it is due to poor outdated speakers or a decision based on the clientele. I mentioned it to a few of the employees, but they brushed it off and said everything was normal. Other than that, it is clean overall with the larger comfortable seats, and they have the Coke machine with the selectable syrups which is always a plus!

Had a cup of coffee with me when I went into the movie. Didn't think anything of it and no1 told me to throw it away. 5 minutes into the movie the manager of this theater came in YELLING at my mom and I during our Easter date!! We step outside and the guy is going nuts over a $3 cup of coffee even tho we just spent $30 on 2 tickets and popcorn!! No coffee I could buy there and then the guy is just chewing out my mother and me. The coffee's almost gone so I offer to throw it away and he says "no don't, u can finish it because it's Easter." 10 minutes later a mall security guard comes into theater to confiscate the coffee. It was the strangest situation of my life!! I would've gladly tossed the coffee if I was asked but I was never asked and this manager ESCALATED a nothing situation to a crazy a level for no reason! He literally treated my mother and I like we had guns and threatened people! The people in movie theater must have thought my mother and I were criminals going by this INSANE managers reaction to us!! This manager has mental issues for real!! He lost his mind over nothing!! I wouldn't say don't go to movies but be careful because there is a ticking time bomb working there!! He has glasses and a shaved head!! Definitely don't buy a starbucks before the movies because the guy will blow up!! Maybe he was mad that he had to work on Easter or something but this guy was insane!!

recently updated, the leather chairs and flat surface armrests are a great companion to your treats and seats. it's comfortable and the work flow is efficient especially if you buy your tickets online. concession prices are up-charged as you'd expect at a cinema. the biggest downfall to my experiences here are the overly bright exits signs in the theatre. i get it that you gotta keep everyone safe, but they don't need to be that bright. no less than 4 illuminated signs in one theatre. one at the front exit near the screen cast a green hue through the entire movie. that was hard to get past. the volume could have been louder too. they get great movies that other theatres don't, and that is why i'll keep going back.

Perhaps the only movie theater I feel comfortable going to what I like most about this is it has the older feeling of the movie in the mall by older I mean 1980s so you can have a nice dinner do a little shopping then see a movie and I only have to park your car once

Pretty good place to see movies, very quaint and easy to navigate. They don't have stadium seating, so get here early, but it's clean. Big plus. And the seats are leather!

I enjoy going to this theatre, as they usually show less mainstream movies, which I appreciate. However, today when I went to see "Yesterday," either the projector broke, or something along those lines, because the movie never started. This was the 2nd time something like this has happened to me at this theatre. They did hand out reimbursement passes, but I find that ridiculous. Just give us our money back. There wasn't even an option to give us our money back, it was just reimbursement passes. Very disappointing in that regard. However, the theatre itself is nice, the quality of the screens is good, and like I said, I love that they show less mainstream films. However, they need to fix this projection problem, whatever it may be, and secondly, always offer an option for your customer to get their money back when something goes wrong. The fact that we didn't even get offered our money back was supremely disappointing.

Very disappointed in the upkeep of this theater.. They were understaffed (kudos to the two young women, they were busting their butts to keep everyone happy!). Half of the concession equipment was not working, the bathrooms were not clean, half of the sinks were not working, soap dispensers not working. Then we go into the theater itself and nobody picks up after themselves. There was trash left everywhere.
