Older, stocky gentleman (manager?) working at the Skylight was rude and unable to take care of a customer who had a simple issue with an incorrect order. The complete lack of care or patience to help this couple left them with a very poor impression of this place. Too bad mom and dad date-night was impacted by someone that is paid to help make this fun. Not the first time treated rudely by staff. Be kind Andrews/Skylight ... you are one of the faces of our town.

I love how cute and small the theater is, with comfy seats and couches as you watch. Unfortunately, the pizza is not very good (nor very warm), but I appreciate that you have several food options to bring right up into the theater. Even though they accept Moviepass, it wasn't working for awhile (maybe it is now?) so I ended up having to pay for the movie even though I have Moviepass. Call first if you're not sure if it'll work!

Went to see Now You See Me 2. For $89.00 we got 2 senior tickets, 1 adult ticket, 2 pints, 1 soda and a 14" pizza, which they actually brought to us. I enjoyed the man who took our orders, very funny and nice. The theaters are like a large living room, with comfortable reclining leather or some leather-like martial, wide seats and arm rests. But no foot rests. It doesn't feel at all like the little box theaters you sometimes get stuffed into - bigger than that. Sound is OK, but not enough bass. Chronic problem in many theaters. Pizza was awesome, wanted more sauce and asked them to be generous with it. But didn't get what I asked for. Extra crunchy at the edges gluten-free crust. Overall we had an excellent experience, and I can wholeheartedly give this place my full recommendation. Literally the best theater within 30 miles of any direction!

Eh. Wasn't that great. They had nice seats, but the theater itself was so hot. I was it a skirt and tank top. I couldn't imagine how hot it was for other customers in pants. I had ordered a pizza and the crust was paper thin, the edges were very burnt. I understand it's supposed to be a little burnt for flavor but it was way too much.

Thank god they remodeled the theaters. Now it's bigger and more comfy. Take your food in side . Wine pizza ,salad etc.

Cozy smaller theater with comfortable seating. Some show times for adults only. Other times are fine for families. Can order food and beverages to have while watching movies. Best day is Sunday to avoid parking meters. Street parking meters up to 6pm mon-sat. .

Best movie selection, excellent pizza, salads, and drinks. Comfy ambience, quality chairs are roomy and reclining. So lucky to have Skylight Theatre in our little town.

Great spot to watch a movie, have some pizza in comfy seats. Small theatres so expect to hear chatter from the folks around you. But that's typical in any theatre that has people that aren't watching the movie.

The movie was great and the seats were very comfortable. It is a small theater but the chairs all have cup holders. Every other chair has table attached which makes it nice for sharing your popcorn. Beer is on tap and wine is also served.

Excellent pizza and the only 'living room' theater in the gorge. Grungy, uncaring employees and lax management that allows kids to run and scream in the eating area keep this from being THE pizza place. Good beer selection but now that you cant take pitchers into the theater its a moot point. Also, theres a rumor that they now violate womens' constitutional rights by not letting them into the movies without illegally searching their purse. I dont know if this is true or not but the rumor alone has kept us from patronizing them.

At first it seemed to be a nice little place to grab something to eat. The kid be hind the counter just wanted to sell us and old cheese pizza and turn it into a Hawaiian. Didn't say anything about having to pay for the movies when I asked about them. And then thay gave up on trying to find us to get the pizza to us, Said that they couldn't find us. We had to go back to them to get our food. And the pizza, not that good. Some of the Slices didn't have toppings on them. We were looking for a new place to go and eat, but it's not going to be that place.

The theater is very nice. Very up to date with nice roomy and comfortable chairs or sofas. The food is also very good. nice drink selection for 21 and older. I have two problem with this location. When I go to this theater I go with a group of friends. It makes sense to order a large pizza and share. When the Unprofessional staff (ill get to that in a moment) bring in our pizza there is no where to set it. And for the money you spend there and the effort to make the theater comfortable I'm not going to have a 18in pizza in my lap. They should get a small stand. there would be room. The biggest problem with this place the reason I don't go there as often and after this last time I might not go again at all. THE STAFF. The staff are horrible. They are all a bunch of young unambitious, lazy and full of attitude. They always take your order wrong roll their eyes and mumble under their breath when you as for something. They NEVER smile. No costumer service at all. every time we have went we have problems with our pizza. From completely wrong toppings to never getting it delivered to us in the theater. That time we had to leave the movie that we paid $13 a person to get COLD pizza that they just sat on the counter. Their excuse was "Well we didn't know where it went, so we figured you would come looking for it" Really!! My group of friends are all professional adults. We know what we pay for. When we spend $100+ for a casual night out yeah we do expect good service. I'm very disappointed in how this place is ran. You get better service at McDonalds. If it had better costumer service we would go a lot more often. I hope the owner see this and takes in to consideration that we are paying costumers and get treated like crap. They should train their staff better.

Please turn on some air conditioning! Theatre was so hot. That and a pizza, movie for two, two beers, and some candy and popcorn cost me over $70...too pricey. Cute place overall with a nice gal working out back. Overall it could have been better....especially if I wasn’t sweating the first half of the movie.

Pizza is a floppy mess, the screens are small and they charge as if it was a large high end theatre in the city. They basically have a monopoly on Hood River, since Andrew also owns HR Cinemas. I recommend going to the Dalles since the prices are cheaper, the staff more helpful and the screens are twice as large.

We are local patrons and I love the play space for my kiddos and the in-house pizza is pretty good. We come to Andrew's often and consider it a sweet local hangout. However, I'm really disappointed with the customer service I had last night at the theater. I was grossly offended by a movie and with in the first 15 minutes we walked out. I requested a refund and they flat out told me no. The kid working the register offered me to speak with his GM. The guy picked up the phone and after a 30sec conversation the kid responds saying my GM will say the same thing, "we don't do refunds". The manager didn't even bother to speak with me. I am so upset with the customer service and the way I was treated. They made me feel like I didn't mater and that my $10 for the ticket was so much more important than me and my continued business. Unfortunately, it will be a long long time before I head to Andrew's or Skylight Theater. If it were my business, I would do a far greater job at treating my regular, local customers, like neighbors and friends, instead of just passing strangers who's feelings don't matter. Super bummed.

Bought 2 movie tickets ahead of time and showed up 10 mins before showing, but there was only 1 seat left in the theater. The theater either oversold the showing or did not properly monitor ticket holders. After bringing this problem to the manager's attention he quickly handed us back our money without investigating further. Bummer.
