As you know, we don't usually stop to put opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Movie Theater is included in the category of Movie theater.
Enjoy the theater very much except for this new reserved seating BS. Not a fan!
Almost $20 a person, $7 a drink and the staff couldn't even remember the drink I ordered. No wonder movies are becoming a thing of the past. Very sad ☹️
Always a fun time!
The best theater and only IMAX screen in Central Oregon. Very clean, fairly quick moving lines. Only thing stopping me from giving that 5th star would be that they charge modern ticket prices, but still only offer seats that are at best 10yrs old.
Give your self some time out
Don't like the assigned seating and rude employees
It was a decent day at the movies. I saw Solo, Deadpool, and Antman. My only complaint is that one of the theaters definitely had a slight odor that was very noticeable when you walked in. The crew working really should have taken care of that before they sat the next audience.
Really small screens, uncomfortable seating, priced like a big city built like an old style small town theater on the inside. Having a beer with your show is nice though!
A very nice Theater with an incredible sound system and comfortable seating.
After buying tickets, we walked to right but those doors are exit only. The ticket booth staff should direct patrons to the left. Comfortable rocking chairs,
Usually pretty decent movie theater, expensive but I think you will get that at any theater. I like to park of the side so when I get out of the theater I can just walk out the back door
Easy to get around. Great costumer service.
Drinks and movies what more could you need
I like the selection of movies they offer. The popcorn is the best!
The seats were very uncomfortable
Nice theater
Big movie goer and its always nice friendly service. Managers are really frendly as well
Imax had great seats. Very comfortable.
Good movies and pretty clean theater. Always has that smell tho..
One of the best movie theatres in town. Stop by and see movies in Imax and get a beer while you're here.
The movies and staff are great but the place needs a good cleaning. It smelled so bad at the movie last night that it was distracting from the show. The seats were putrid... smelled like old sweat, stinky feet, and stale popcorn.
The IMAX screen is the best!! Usually a friendly staff as well. Hayley was of great help to me in finding and replacing an old card. And was very generous. Rewards program is awesome too.
Great theater to catch the latest flick. They have a limited bar inside, food and drink, as well as the plethora of goodies. Located in the Old Mill District, which has some great restaurants for the matinee hours if you're on a date.
Love this place. Good seating, can pick where to sit on your phone and order your tickets. Then when you arrive you can cut all the lines. Finally, a movie theater that's modernizing. Hopefully, they have the regal pass now.
3.5 stars really! The concession stand is hit and miss. I've missed previews the last couple of movies we've seen because the concession lines took over 28 minutes. They have reserved seating now which is pretty convenient, but still no recliners:( Decent place to watch a movie on the big screen...but still leaves a little to be desired.
Regal Cinemas in Bend is generally always a quality experience, with stadium seating, surprisingly clean floors (my shoes don't stick with each step!), and helpful staff. They have a tendency to turn up the volume, though - my wife and I both were on the edge of pain for "Beauty and the Beast" last year. And they aren't always careful about the framing. I am very grateful for the opportunity last Wednesday to see "Beetlejuice" on the big screen again for the 30th anniversary (Elfman's main titles were meant to be heard on cinematic speakers), but they took a 1.85:1 digital video and simply expanded it to fit the 2.35:1 screen, so instead of black masking down the sides, the top and bottom of the frame were cut off: At times, Alec Baldwin and Michael Keaton almost lost their eyes into the curtaining above the screen. Thankfully it was a $5 show - if it had been full price, I'd have been asking for money back just one minute into the screening. I realize my issues took longer to spell out than my compliments. I will continue to screen movies there, as it is a good cinema and I recommend it.
Good costumer service !
I'm impressed with how clean the restrooms are. The entire theater was great. Love the new seats.
They drowned my popcorn in butter (at my request). It was AMAZING! I didn't even walk back to my chair to watch the movie. I just slid on a greasy buttery slip n slide back to my seat.
Expensive Beer, Bad Movies, Expensive popcorn.... It's great.
We went to a show here this theater has to be one of my favorites, there always friendly and fun to talk to. This location offer's the regular snacks, real food & a beer garden best movie night in a long time.
Need more parking. Staff need to be a bit more friendly. Tried to asked questions and they we're more interested in their phone.
It has a lovely aesthetic and the seats are comfortable. Their snacks and drinks are overpriced though, even by movie theater standards. $5 for a bottle of water.
RESERVED SEATING ONLY! You are forced to sit right next to someone even if the theatre is at half capacity!
Movie starts at 5 it's now 5:17 and I'm still watching the movie previews why. I can deal with a couple of previews but come on 7 previews and now an Olivia wilde commercial. Can we please watch the movie that we overpaid to see.
Just wish they would get those fancy reclining movie chairs. Other then that good theater!
Expensive but they have nice seats and the staff are good
Outstanding theater! Comfortable spacious seating.
Great theater and friendly staff
Nice seats with lots of room, but was very cold in the theatre
Great theater in an area that's a little too crowded these days.
Comfortable stadium seating, but no recliners like many newer theaters. Located in an outdoor mall with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Always a good place for a movie, shocking right?! And a beer?! Yes you can get your popcorn, snacks and have a beer to! They have a good selection of beer to choose from. Good place to get out of thesummer heat to! Went in the afternoon for a movie and only had 4 others in the theater with us! All the staff was great and friendly.
Beer and drinks now! Awesome! Always clean and friendly...
Absolutely love watching movies here! Bathrooms are are cleaner than most restaurants and there's a lot to choose from in the snack department. They even serve beer and wine !!!
I love the theater, but the box office needs to be improved. I have been there a few times and there is only one person in the box and there are at least 30 people in line and it is slow. Please add employees to the box so we can get in , get drinks and food and watch the movie on time.
Great service everytime!
Good place. Adult area with food and adult beverages delivered.
Update: they've been working on keep the concession lines moving and it's definitely improved. Thumbs up! Also, you can get beer on tap and wine by the glass to sip or chug while you watch the latest flick. A welcomed addition.
Great time passer ;-) wish the alchohol wasnt so expensive!
This movie theater has really got very dirty. It stunk so bad during the bowing of my movie. The seats aren’t clean The floor was gross. Rest rooms disgusting with feces. Service is extremely slow also.
The best theater within 50 miles of Bend, but this theater has basically every problem a theater can have. The worst being a few theaters with blown speakers, dirty screens and faded projector bulbs that have been like that for years.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Place going into the theater was very clean. Bathroom were clean but they were out of tonite paper and toilet covers in several stalls. The movie room we were in was extreamly dirty and we were there an hour and a half early for the movie and there wasn't a movie in there during that time so plenty of time for them to clean. Other than that the seats were extreamly comfortable. Concessions are extreamly expensive as well as the movies so don't go hungry. Was $18 and some change for a large soda, large popcorn and a medium Skittles. Movie was $12.50 but it was a special showing of twilight for the 10 year anniversary
What can you say? It's a movie theater with several different movies playing. But the staff was pleasant and the floors were surprisingly clean. They have more than the usual candy and popcorn faire--mixed drinks (as in alcohol) are available for those 21+ and a selection of bar type foods to accompany your beverage. I thought the price of a ticket was still reasonable at $9.00 (at an 8:45 pm show). A ticket in California theaters 14 years ago went for that price. The theater itself was also clean and the seats and floor were not sticky.
Love to be able to have a beer and watch a new movie! Clean to!
Love going to the movies. Bummed they changed there snack menu
Our first time here. It was a great place. Really nice and FRIENDLY employees.
Good overall experience but concessions are ridiculously expensive
This place was great! So many concession options and games. We'll probably make a point to have a movie night each time we come to town for our family vacation.
Comfortable and glad they lowered ticket prices. If they charged less for snacks then the whole family could go.
We always have pretty good experiences here. Today we saw Avengers: infinity wars, and the theater wasn't even packed. Maybe about 5 or 6 family's. Food prices are high of course, I would say that's the down side.
Best big movie theater in bend. Clean. Nice people.
Nice Theater. Would rate higher but the prices are starting to get out of hand and the new assigned seating sucks.
It’s really nice to be a monopoly in a small town. That is the only way that this place survives. Poor service top to bottom is the name of the game here. Not enough cashiers at the box office or the concessions. The walls of the theatre are so thin you can hear the movie in the next auditorium. Floor or seats has not been cleaned in ages. Stay home and watch Netflix rather than patronizie this dump.
Wonderful place to take the whole family to see a movie.
Love this Regal location. Born and raised in Bend and this theatre was built when I was a kid. So many memories here. Good location, great staff and always an awesome theatre to attend!
Lowering my rating due to stupid assigned seating. People were complaining and sitting in our seats makes for an awkward experience.
It's a place to watch a movie and have a drink at the same time. Staff isn't very enthusiastic and half the time, we have to wait quite awhile for someone to help us at the bar or concessions. With MY experience, 75% of the time, something is wrong with a theater showing. Either the sound doesn't work, 3D isn't programmed correctly, or show turns off. Thankfully, it's always at the beginning during previews, but it has gotten annoying to have to go report said problem to staff to get it fixed. It seems like part of the experience now.
Staff is unfriendly and rude. Usually don’t ask for regal rewards card
This theater is located in the outdoor mall next to many shops and restaurants. They have comfortable stadium seating chairs for great viewing. It is super clean and had delicious popcorns. Everyone was friendly from ticket booth to cashiers. This is where we come when we are staying in Sunriver. You can come here for the movies, shopping, and ice cream.
Great theater, friendly staff and lots of food items to choose from.
The facilities are typical regal cinemas; not bad not fancy. However, if you want to enjoy a movie in Bend forget it. You will be fighting crowds the whole time. This is solely due to regal cinemas movie scheduling. All the movies stat at the same time and end at the same time, meaning the place is absolutely packed for the 20 minutes you are trying to navigate the theater/bathroom.... terrible scheduling and made for an unenjoyable experience.
Supper bummed with the assigned seating. It makes no sense to have it. Not only that but no one sits in their seats they were assigned anyway, until you get one stickler who kicks you out of their seat but some one else is in yours....so you kick them out and they kick some one else out. It's disrupting and pointless.
As always I have had a great experience. The jack and coke freeze machine was down but they had something I've never heard of before. Mixed drinks in a can! The rum and coke was actualy great. The employees at the snack counter were amazing as well. Clean and fast. Great movie. Will continue to go like I always have.
Love the smell of the pop corn! Always good bartenders for the alcohol station! Highly recomend membership card:)
Emily is so friendly and the popcorn is heavenly! Always clean!
I absolutely love this Cinema. Seats are comfy, staff is super helpful and fast to fix any problems with audio, etc.
To expensive for snacks 30 bucks for one person to watch a movie and have the snacks you want. The worst part is the new seating arrangement! What if i dont like the seat i picked? because i dont live in there.and know exactly where i want to sit? Or someone im sitting by is ruining my movie and i want to change seats? Wont be going there to watch a movie soon unless its tax return season or nobody is in there to tell me where i can or cant sit.
I enjoy the cinema and Bend's old mill theatre is worth going to.
Great seats. Saw crimes against grindelwald Friday November 16th. 2018
...fun place. Great drinks!!
Easy to get in and out. Clean and well stocked.
Cool theater and as always completely ripping people off.
Really nice theater, my only complaint is the box office is outside. In the summer that's probably great, but not in a chilly wind and only one person in the box office. We waited for probably close to 10 minutes. Next time I'd get my tickets online.
Nice, new theatre. Watch out for popcorn full of unpopped kernels! Aquaman was here!
I love the movies so I'm probably biased.
Typical big box theatre with the added surprise of a small bar in the lobby... Great if you are waiting to meet someone before the movie
Typical movie experience. It is usually pretty busy and the wait times seem to be increasing along with the prices. A few of the managers are rude and condescending to their own employees on the floor, but overall it's not terrible place to go to escape heat or rain. The beer and cider selection isn't bad either.
Great movie but that seat reservation system is beyond stupid!
Fav movie theater. Old Mill is Way Cool!
Always a good time here. Concessions are through the roof expensive though.
Nice theatre
Its a nice theater, and has great options when it comes to choices of screenings.
Great place to watch movies. Has a bar that serves local brews. All the theaters have stadium seating with 7.1 surround sound. The IMAX is really nice with resererved seating. Get your tickets in advance and know where you'll be sitting.
A bit over priced
Was good!! Good popcorn!
Thanks guys
Very nice staff, comfortable seating, great place to watch a nice movie.
In response to your question you asked when answering my review, Downton Abby
Only Theater option in Central Oregon. mostly clean. pop corn and beverages are OUT OF THIS WORLD prices... like more then Disneyland...
I love this theater, I never go to any other one. Great movies playing all the time and a great variety of snacks and drinks to choose from.
The IMAX screen was huge! But I still slept through the movie.
Nice theater. Clean.
Nice! A bit on the pricey side though.
Clean, good audio and video. A local theater.
Clean facility, friendly staff.
Nice cinema with stadium seating. Above average sound in all theater's . Beer on tap in the lobby but slightly over priced. Movies have become more expensive and this place is no exception. It's really the only game in town. My home theater has a better picture and better sound .
Last showing, downfall no fresh popcorn, messy bathrooms, dirty theaters. Bright side nice desk boy. I enjoyed my film
Great theater!
Lot of good memeories here. Not only in the story lines, but in the friendships and the people I am with. Love you regal cinema. Thanks for sticking around.
Great Movie theatre. Sound is amazing. I would give a better rating but thier seating is a little outdated in comparison to theaters in the valley. Portland metro area.
Who doesn't enjoy a good movie in a clean establishment with friendly staff?? ☺️
Good value, take advantage of their rewards program if you go often, gets you free tickets or snacks. Nice area, staff is usually friendly. Good facilities, restrooms are large. Arcade is there, nothing special. They do a good job keeping it clean, leg space is more than normal. Imax option is decent. Decent selection of showings and ticket prices are reasonable. Concession prices are steep but they do offer a nice selection of food and also offer alcohol.
Not sure how old is this place but they need to update their seats. I had to change twice because the arm rest on the seats I chose was broken. Every time the person behind me grabbed my seat to get up, my seat would bounce. Aside the awful seating experience, the room smelled like fart. Could have been the fact that it was Christmas and well... turkey and stuffing bombs permeated the air. The worse part of it all are the ridiculous high prices. I would recommend for people to eat and drink before you go. Regal in my city is known for quality theaters, they have updated reclining seats and incredible customer service. This place in comparison was a total dump. I don’t think the city should support this place, we need to demand for Regal to update this theatre every few years. For the price we pay they should be offering clean bathrooms, great service and comfortable clean seats.
Mixed drinks and movie was awesome
Awesome sound and screen quality
This was our first visit here and my first visit to a cinema in years. Very good selection and very comfotable chairs. Do have to say though, that if i knew there were going to be so many commercials before the feture, we would have went a half hour later. Especially being as late a showing as it was.
A little pricy, but it's still a great place to enjoy motion pictures! With Dolby Surround Sound installed in each room, their sound quality is through the roof! Though, they should inspect the bathrooms a bit better...
Little pricey but cried when mufasa died
Pricey! 2 adult tickets without discounts is $25. And the seats aren't plush and wide and cannot recline like in other newer theaters.
We went to a free screening the other night it was alot of fun and very nice employees.
Amazingly clean prices match the norm. But the perks are great. All the reg but with beer not only but icee like jack and coke. It was whole family theater wish I had it in omak
Good movies, P.s spendy
Awesome, clean theater. Friendly staff. Excellent sound and screen.
I like this theater, lots of seats, food is a bit spendy, but that's no surprise these days.
I do not like having to pick a seat and so have stopped going to the movies. Very disappointed.
I always enjoy watching movies Old mill regal nice and neat place. Best.
Lots of theatres to choose from. Never crowded. One time I accidentally bought tickets online for the wrong location and the manager let me in anyway. That was awesom! They DO make you pick your seat before heading in and that can be a good thing. It just takes longer to buy your ticket and it's a little hard to tell how big the room is until you get in there. I picked seats that were TOO close and luckily was able to move. Good selection of junk food if you are into that sort of thing.....
Nice theater, concessions were a little slow but not bad.
The theater is just fine now, but my parents have had some issues once or twice.
Not many movies of my interest this summer but I hear said it's a good place to cool off in hot weather. Pretty good parking if you are able to walk a distance.
If you're looking for an expensive way to watch the latest Avengers saga or take a new date to a place where their confined to keeping silent so you really can't learn a thing about them...well this is a good place to throw away some hard earned cash...
A restaurant, bar, and 16 screens...cant go wrong for entertainment and dining whether on a date or some family fun. Order ur tickets online or arrive early during cold or wet weather there can sometimes be quite a long line. Right in the heart of Bend's historic Old Mill District, there is plenty of shopping to do as well as walking the river and sight seeing before and after a movie.
Although the movie theater is actually decent they are the Monopoly in town and take advantage of it at every turn. The tickets are so expensive and the food is rediculious. We have to budget $100 for a family of 4 if we want to follow the rules and not sneak in food. Basically the movies is only for the rich now!
My two year old got us kicked out of a matinée showing of Beauty and the Beast. She was a little loud, because she was super excited about seeing it on the big screen, but if she got too excited, we'd go out to the hall. There were others in there being just as loud. They gave us vouchers, but they are still unused. I just have no desire to go back. I can't wait to go back to Austin for Christmas, and give her a proper movie experience at the Alamo Drafthouse. I'm pretty sure they don't kick kids out of a kids movie.
Parking is limited but movie was getting out as we were pulling into the lot. My 1st time with reserved seating selected at the window, went smoothly
Lots of options for movies and showtimes. Friendly service, lots of delicious concessions including for those age 21+ a beer garden! Definitely recommend this to anyone.
I had fun so good movie went to dinner afterwards had a nice time nice place to stand the Saturday afternoon
I used to enjoy coming here until they started assigned seating. Ruined our experience. The little boy behind my daughter kicked and pulled on her chair throughout the entire movie. The person in front of me wore an obnoxiously large hat. I won’t be coming back unless they do away with the assigned seating.
It's a good theater. We lost our phone there and the staff was very helpful. It's in a great location, close to lots of restaurants.
Overall, nice cinemas... not always clean clean but overall good. Sound system is okay too, I heard better ;-) However, this is the only major theatre at Bend so... this is it
Only theater in town, so you don't have much choice. Not happy that they moved to assigned seating. Makes it hard to sit with your friends if you but tickets separately. They keep having AV problems too with speakers dropping out or similar. Having beer for sale is nice though.
Pretty nice place. I hate to complain but the sound was so loud in there. At times it was deafening. Otherwise clean facilities. Movie started on time and there were enough ticket sales people to clear the line out front quickly.
Best place in bend watch movies for under 15 bucks
When last night to see Imax the theater was so cold I couldn't stay to watch the end of the movie. Spent over 30 bucks to get in 15 bucks on popcorn and 1 soda to not even see the end of movie . I come late to see movie when there is very little people to not disturb me or my wife. This bull just cost you a loyal customer.....
Very nice theater. Very clean and has nice seats.
Very expensive movie just okay. Bathrooms good
