It was better than our theaters that are close by but it was lacking in a couple areas. Service and cleanliness were great, and the concessions we're good. The issues came with the actual movie watching experience. Keep in mind I may be hyper critical about these things though. First, there was a seem down the middle of the screen almost like they had to replace half of it or something or whoever installed it didn't put the two pieces close enough together. This was noticable, by me, throughout the movie. The other issue is the center subwoofer behind the screen is too close to the screen. Whenever there was that impactful rumbling bass I look forward to during an action sequence the screen would ripple from the bass vibrations like someone threw a rock in a calm pond. Probably something that could be rectified by pulling it back a little if they have space or even turning the speaker sideways so it isn't facing the backside of the screen. It was very distracting. Lastly for some reason the audio volume during the actual movie was noticably quieter than the previews were so I feel like the sound was less moving than it would have been if it was louder. I understand movie theaters these days don't make much profit but the sound system could use an update to get with the times with features like Dolby Atmos. Like I said these things might only bother someone like me who is really critical about the visual and audio experience.

In a place with not a whole lot to do, this theater makes going into town with friends more than just a food run. Tuesdays, you can get into any movie for $5, so that's when I recommend going to the movies. Other days, it can get a bit pricey. $10 for evening shows (though they do offer a senior citizen discount). Popcorn varies from $5 to $10, drinks are $4 each (give or take depending on size, of course), and you can expect to pay $3 to $5 for candy. My advice? Check out their combos for a deal, and if you do happen to love popcorn, you can get any size popcorn refilled for just $1 on your way out of the theater.

Clean and hospitable. There is water for 4 dolllors, because it is the convenience. You could, not to rude, but it could be a paper cup. That ,I think would be wrong. Disease, germs and suspicion of not caring about patrons. Go to the theatre bring the money you want to use to buy or eat before you come. I wondered the same, but it's all 'in care' of the customer. I am thankful this is there. To purchase or not is totally your choice.

Great experience. Prices are a little high on concessions but then again who's prices aren't? If you are looking for a good movie experience, this cinema is very good. My recommendation doesn't need to be justified, do yourself a favor and see for yourself. Enjoy!

They only accept cash, beware! Very strange for a modern theater. I believe it is because this and it's neighbor theater in Pendleton are privately owned and not subscribed to Fandango or similar. It does mean that you're probably directly supporting the local community though.

This movie theater is not as big as other movie theaters I have been to, but it has all the new releases and it's a nice theater to go on a date or with your family. They have movie tickets at only $5 on Tuesdays so if you prefer to save some money I recommend to go on a Tuesday. The popcorn here is really good and they now have more options like cotton candy, pretzels and the usual things other theaters have. The theater is always clean and it also has handicap seating.

Great theater for such a small town. Feels like a theater you would visit in a big city. They only accept cash but that is common knowledge for most locals (Or at least it should be!) so just bring cash before you go.To be honest it's not really that big of a deal. Customer service is good and the theater is clean and the chairs are comfortable. The picture and sound quality are decent. The food is decent however like all other theaters the food is overpriced. Great place to see a movie.

It's not bad at the Hermiston cinema, but if your in a movie that has kids in it that are disruptive, the workers won't do anything. They won't talk to them or the parents or anything. I had to watch IT with about 20 kids sitting behind me, talking more than they were watching the movie and I complained to workers at least 3 times and nobody once came in to talk to them.

Enjoyed our movie as always, The Mule-Clint Eastwood....comfy seats, pleasant staff. Unfortunately, I'm not a soda person and the lemonade wasn't working. Opted for water, $4 for a small bottle of water is insane. I can buy a flat (24 bottles) for $3.99 (+deposit). Just amazed at the mark up, but hey, I paid it so I guess I shouldn't complain.

I have been to hundred of theaters in my life. This one has a great manager and staff (yes the staff are mostly teenager, I think it is great to see). The food price are on par with today's prices. The seat are nice and the sound is on par also. They now ACCEPT debit and credit card. For a small town theater it is really nice. The theater itself is fairly new, with stadium style seating.

Give it a two stars because I went on a Tuesday to watch incredibles 2 then the lady said on the 2 row and she never mentioned if it was the bottom or the top but me thinking it was the top. So when we walked in the seats were all crowed and there were the at the bottom seats me personally couldn't stand in the bottom because I got dizzy so I went to ask the second lady if we could get a refund because the seats were to close and she said no beacsue there were a lot of people then lady on the right(the one who originally sold us our tickets )said" I told them no refunds" but I clearly rember she never told us anything so we had no choice but to go watch the movie at the bottom seats and I got even dizzyer because the movie had flashing events in the movie so after many years I was hoping to watch incredible 2 I did but I was in happy of my vist to the cinema.

I really enjoy going to the theatre and coming to the Hermiston cinema Is great but, I've noticed that they have been upping their prices a lot lately. From what used to be $7.50 on a normal day and $6.00 on Tuesday has now gone up to $10.50 on a normal day and $8.00 on Tuesday. It may not seem like a lot but I don't see any point in spending that much money to see a movie, plus an extra 20 dollars on a medium root beer and a medium popcorn when i could stay home and watch somthi ng else for free. Or at least rent something that won't drain my pockets.

Love this place. The seating is great (except when it’s crowded and you have to sit in the close seats). The staff is super friendly, the manager seems really nice, and the popcorn is to die for. I wish I could just go in to buy popcorn sometimes, it is that good.

They sometimes have a better selection of movies. And seem to get more "urban" movies than Pendleton so that's a plus. But they are WAY more expensive than Wildhorse in admission and snacks for an older venue. Staff is pretty nice so far. Manager is ALWAYS super nice. They need to check on theaters more. But I notice that's rare in our area for all theaters. In bigger cities ushers walk thru throughout the movies. Just a suggestion for the jerks who text n facebook during movies!!

Great theater for a smaller town. Service has been good when we have gone. At times there aren't many options as far as the times that a movie is available, however I rather go to a local theater than having to go to tri-cities.

We had my daughter's birthday party here. It was expensive, but worth it. We got the entire theater room to ourselves and the girls had a blast! And, I didn't have a huge mess to clean up afterwards. They even put Happy Birthday Amber at the top of the doorway. The only downside was that they only give you 15 minutes to set up any decorations and food you bring.

Horrible. Management was lqx in their patrol of the theater as a Pack of teenagers came in and ruined the show and the staff didn't give a rip. When I say Pack I mean 10+kids without parents in one movie. Think that would be the one to watch for a disturbance?

A great local theater with large screens. Comfortable seating and reasonable prices on ticket and concessions. The staff was friendly and courteous. I saw them bring hot food orders in to patrons at their seats during the previews. We don't live here, but we'll visit again.
