I love the grit of this movie theatre. Don't change anything! If the yuppies are complaining about the cleanliness then they can go drive to Cinetopia, or just move back to the state they're from - lets go with that. This theater is not for you! The popcorn on the floor never hurt anyone, it adds character. The guy that works here is always so friendly and helpful, and he serves us beer! He's the best!

$5 Mondays, Rocky Horror & Holy Grail posters in the lobby - what more could you want!

I love this home town theater. It looks like it has been here forever. The movies are first run and reasonably priced, making this popular with students. It is one of the top 10 hangouts for Pacific University students in Forrest Grove.

Thomas Williams

I love this theatre, every time I go to watch a movie there the staff is respectful and nice. The price of food and drinks is good too.

Great for a cheap night out.

The guy working the counter was very rude. He acted as if i was a stranger walking into his house instead of a paying customer. My wife wanted to buy things but the man made her feel so awkard she didnt want another reaction. The screen was in very poor condition. The picture was very blurry with a weird blue spot in the upper left hand corner. They left the lights in the theater on as well which totally killed the mood. On the positive it was only $18 for my wife, daughter, and myself. I guess you get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor and just rent a movie on youtube. 4k tv's are pretty cheap nowadays.

Three stars for the sound in the theater. It was no that great. At times, it was difficult to understand what actors were saying. However, they have students discount. Overall, our experience was good. There is a small snack bar and clean toilets.

chloe sinz

The bathrooms were very gross and there were no doors. We were the only ones in the theater. The popcorn was cold and stale, overall bad experience will not be returning.

Vicky Schneider

It's always cheep on Mondays and they play the same movie as the newer theaters, plus there isn't anyone ever there during the early shows.

sucks when they decide they can hold up the movie being played because some snowflake wants to talk about the movie not every one in that theaters goes to hear some snowflake talk about a movie for a class they dont have or a school they dont attend but they dont care they prefer to hold up other paying customers and annoy them. Maybe next time let them rent out a private showing as to not ANNOY AND DELAY PAYING CUSTOMERS THEY DONT CARE WHAT SOME RANDOM SNOWFLAKE HAS TO SAY, SOME OF US DONT COME AND PAY TO LISTEN TO SOME RANDOM PERSON SIT THERE AND TALK GIBBERISH AS A SELF PROCLAIMED EXPERT. THEY ACTUALLY HELD A MOVIE UP SO THIS PERSON COULD TALK TO A HANDFUL OF PPL ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE ABOUT TO WATCH. I THINK THEY KNOW WHAT THE HELL THE MOVIE IS ABOUT BEING THEY ARE THERE TO SEE IT THIS ISNT A CLASSROOM MAYBE YOU CAN INVITE THEM BACK TO TELL US WHAT WE ARE GOING TO SEE IN THE OTHER MOVIES LIKE THOR I WONDER WHAT THAT MOVIE IS ABOUT I WISH SOME RANDOM STRANGER WOULD COME DISRUPT AND DELAY THE MOVIE BY TELLING US WHAT WE ARE ABOUT TO WATCH BECAUSE SOME OF US DONT COME THERE TO SIT AND RELAX AND ENJOY A MOVIE WE PAID TO SEE NO NO NO PLEASE BY ALL MEANS DELAY MY EVENING BY DELAYING THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this place! A quaint little theater where they show the current movies for only $5 on Monday nights!

Here are some tips hire people who are actually doing a job. 3 people on staff and most the time only one person was standing around the others were chatting with friends in and outside the theater. I assume they must of been friends of the workers sense no one else was there to watch Finding Dory. That wouldn't have bugged me to much until I walked into the theater and couldn't find a Isle that was clean. I looked hard sense I have a 2 yo who still trys to shove everything in his mouth. On top of the fact the workers were using work to socialize, the floor was filthy, they also started the movie 15 min late... I understand it being a old theater and that's what I love about it. You just need to hire people to do there jobs and have a rule that employees can not have friends hanging around it makes your buisness look bad. sorry to say I won't be coming back. considering I grew up going to this theater it's sad to think I would rather pay the few extra dollars and drive to a bigger one because the bad hygein and your employees are driving all your customers off

I love this place always will. Forest Grove is my home and it wouldn't be home without this theater. Thank you Brian.

I love this place, it just has this air of nostalgia to it that you can't find in the gram and glitz of the big theaters. Plus the prices are so reasonable!

Yup, it is coming back, but there's still work to do. Popcorn was ok, but butter needs to be re-churned (tasted a little old). Sound could be adjusted depending on audience numbers: more = loud; fewer = not so loud. $5 bucks a ticket w/option to have beer, brats, or Schmizza, not too bad. Best,

Very small town theater, one of the stalls in the bathroom doesn't open up all the way so you have to shimmy in. Tap was out when we went but they do have beer/wine, lots of flavor salts and things for popcorn. Huge theater with decent screen. Ok sound. They partnered with Ridgewalker and weren't sure of the promotions they were running but I think there's ton of potential with the partnership to make it an awesome spot. We'll definitely go back for the cheapest priced tickets around and ample seating for all.

What a great theatre! Always clean. Staff always friendly. Away have the main attractions.

Great atmosphere and small theater vibe in a central location of Forest Grove. Prices are reasonable for tickets and snacks. Srudent discount available during active terms for Pacific University students (bring Student ID). Often has box office hit movies during premiere weekend. Occasionally does additional events, i.e. Rocky Horror showings. My only hope is that the owner will upgrade seats, which are not as plush as higher end theater, therefore you might get a little uncomfortable with the 2+hr movies coming out these days.

Love it here! $5 on Mondays. Popcorn is usually fresh with good optional seasonings. Got some decent beers. Beats the hell out of overpriced Regal!

What you would expect from a small town theatre. It was clean and gave discounts to the University students.

My husband and I moved to FG one year ago and figured it was time to try a movie here. This place has a lot of potential, if someone would just do it. Even the simple things would help, like maybe....SWEEP THE FLOOR after each showing! It was awful. It smelled, popcorn was horrible (bought a large and didn't eat any of it), the theater was a disaster, seats were filthy and uncomfortable, sound system was bad (better sound at my house!), women's bathroom was dirty and smelled like old sewage, toilets were stained or filthy...not sure which. It's so sad to see something that could be beautiful, to be left to rot. We will absolutely not come back here until some major upkeep is done. I know renovating would take a ton of money, but something needs to be done.

Lindsey DeLaney

Fun single theater in town! $5 Mondays are an awesome way to see a movie. The theater is huge inside, and best to sit near the front.

Robert Vestal

Love this place, very good prices, and owner takes very good care of the place and for only having 1 or 2 people there working at a time its a fantastic atmosphere

Bill Guiffre

Retro. Love this theater. Constructed in 1948. There is actually room between the rows!

its a haunted theater lol

Great snacks and service. Definitely a smaller and lower budget theater that could use some love but the ticket prices are lower than most places. Exactly what you'd expect a small town theater to be :)

James Rutledge

Didn't like that lights wouldn't be turned down for movie and when asked about it I found out they're reasoning was because of that they served alcohol. Also the sound wasn't very good. I felt like I was watching Bane from dark night rides the whole time but I still understood Bane in other movie theaters.

Leona Cultee

This place is pretty amazing. My husband and I enjoy these movies a lot. Shout out to REX the employee, he to is pretty amazing. Great prices. Thank you for the wonderful experience. We'll always be coming back. Again thank you Rex... Christian & Leona Hazen.
