This place was awesome! Living in the south all my life, the only option was Carmike Cinemas megatheatres which came with a mega price. The ticket on a saturday night was 7 dollars with a 2 dollar large drink. WHAT?! Concessions guy was super nice. Even without my glasses I could see a huge difference in projector quality. It was crisp! It's unfortunate that the movie (ender's game) sucked. Will return weekly if the movies are good.

I love small, single screen theaters and this one is no exception. Superb prices on first run movies, large snack/food assortment with great prices, classic seats and with a digital upgrade. We just watched Endgame on opening weekend and it didn't break the bank.

Both of the last two movies I have watched hear there has been a drunk person behind me who totally ruins the experience. They need to learn to cut people off before they are drunk and belligerent, or stop serving alcohol all together. When there's a drunk person cursing up a storm in your 1530 Sunday matinee in a supposedly family friendly theater, you've got problems.

This is a great family theater, small (but not too small), unique and historical. It has been updated with comfortable seating and other accomodations yet it retains the atmosphere of the small town movie theater. Staff are friendly and helpful. Street parking only. This theater now serves a variety of beer and wine although I didn't see anyone buying or drinking it when I was there (perhaps that's because Peter Rabbit was playing at the time) : ) Posted admission prices were $6 to $8, dependant on time of day of showings.

Samuel, I'd like to tell you a few facts about Dallas Fox Theator. Knowing you probably aren't from this world the prices are extremely low compared to many theaters. Though I agree with the fact that there should be more popcorn for the buck. Also, because the Theator keeps its prices low it does have staff issues making it difficult to repair items. If one of your friends got hurt they obviously were not paying attention or were messing around. Another fact is that they do not own breathalyzers and therefor do not ask you to breath into one before entering the Theator. If anybody is drunk they are allowed in, if they however are disrupting they are asked to leave. I, myself love this Theator because it is a cheap form of entertainment and I always leave happy, even if the movie wasn't very great. :)

This is a perfect setting for a small community. The price for both seeing a movie and actually having snacks are well within a real life value. You can get a movie, popcorn and a drink for the cost of a large popcorn and maybe a piece of candy at the national theaters. The movie quality, for me, mirrored that of the other theaters. The only downside is the limited showings, and a single screen, but they do a great job of rotating current movies to give everyone a chance to see what they want without really waiting for it in the rotation. Will likely make this my go to for all future movies.

This place is awesome. I loved the old time feel, and the prices can not be beat! That is the admission prices, and the snack bar prices. I am so glad they were able to get enough money together to save it. I moved up from California, and I never saw anything like this while living down there.

Cute, friendly, but small. Only one screen is here, allowing only one movie to be playing at a time. I did enjoy the intamate setting, and the overall welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely go here again.

I wish there was no stars because that is what this place is!!! They let drunk people on the theater. Nothing was clean, the seat's where coverd with duck tape from the rips. The floor had butter all over and soda. Out of the tree of us one of us got hurt badly. And every thing was over prist. As well as the theater screen was dirty. I simply hated it

Awesome local joint. Friendly staff and a lax atmosphere. I'm not paying Regal prices and am beyond satisfied. The popcorn isn't the best quality and paying for a refill with your original purchase is not smart as they're usually out of Popcorn when you need (half way through the show) the refill.

Dallas cinema was great. The movie would have been better if me and my friend didn't have little kids talking and cursing the whole time behind us. I know that's not the cinemas fault but it would have just been nice if they could have just been quiet or left.

Website said Showtime at 4:15. When we arrived at 4:00, very bored, rude, dismissive young staff person stated movie had already started. She indicated next Showtime was 6:30. Board outside of theater said 7:30. When we pointed that out, she shrugged and returned her attention to her laptop. Very disappointed customers who may not return. Independence theater is so close and had always been friendly.

This is your smaller town old look theater. Awesome. A single ticket seller out front in the rounded kiosk. Inside foyer is small and cozy. Much less for food. Small pizza, sliders, popcorn, candy, etc. They also have beer for adults but only sold at a late showing. Theater has nice seats, awesome sound, and wonderful character. Movies are up to date but only one played at a time and usually for a week. All age movies. Alot of fun.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced! The food was also undercooked and the tiny bathrooms were dirty with trash everywhere. I used to come to this theater as a kid. Seems like this movie theater has just gone downhill or perhaps just needs new owners who actually care about their job/company. Not to mention, one movie for a long period of time. Surprised this place is still in business the way it's run and kept up. Definitely do not recommend. Go to Independence theater instead.

I LOVE this theater. The picture is really good quality HD and the staff are cool. But it is undeniably dirty on the floor before a movie. If people would pick up after themselves it would be nice. But apparently the patrons of Dallas Fox theater were all born in barns with the doors open. Seriously, folks. It's embarrassing.

May not be one of those big multiplexes, that have the fancy chairs and a zillion screens, but the prices can't be beat and the owner puts a lot of love and care into the experience for his customers. That is why I love going to this theater.
