Watched Marvel. Movie theater was clean from the moment we walked in, concession, theater room, bathroom, to the moment we walked out. ticket price and concessions were reasonable. You get to add you own butter and cheese seasoning. Would recommend!

Usually dont have a problem coming here however yesterday i went in and we get our popcorn and went into theater 6 it was thrashed there was popcorn all over the floor and cups still in the cup holders garbage was full too. Popcorn was also stail. I went and got an icce to and she ripped me off i paied for a large she then said oh the large sizes are acttully medium!??

I've lived in Hillsboro for 40 years, and as a result, have probably been to every theater in Washington County many times over. This one is the best. If you go to a Regal, be prepared to spend several dollars more for your movie ticket, pop, and popcorn. Cornelius has the best prices around. And unlike Regal, not only do you have an actual salt shaker to use, but you can also butter your own popcorn. I always bring my own plastic bag to temporarily dump my popcorn in, so I can make my popcorn the way I want to because nothing sucks more than having to get up in the middle of the movie, and walk back down to the concession stand to have the employees put a little more butter on your popcorn. And more often than not, there's usually another movie starting around the same time, so then you end up standing in line for 10 minutes, missing more of the movie. A family of 4 or 5 will probably easily save $20 in ticket & concession prices just by going to Cornelius instead of a Regal. -Mike-

Good theater, prices are in line with other smaller chain theaters. Concessions are also on par - nothing fancy, they did add an Icee machine. We go about once a month. Parking is never an issue. They also offer an outdoor theater in the summer.

Oh my gosh, the best movie theatre around!! So amazing to find an independent theatre anymore, but this one is clean, good prices, good movies, and friendly service. Last week we went for date night and they now have a bar in there where they will serve you drinks in your seat! They have brand new seats that recline all the way to laying down with a table at each chair! It’s amazing! The owner even came in to thank us for coming to watch a movie! We plan to do all our date nights there!

Not too busy, reasonably clean, bathrooms are nice, and lots of sugary snacks but not so many that it is confusing. Seats are clean and comfortable and the floors were reasonably clean and not sticky. We were not in the recliner theater though which is the best of all. There is a bar hidden in one entrance of the main theater where the recliners are. Pleasant all around with a large collection of star wars toys on display. Plenty of posters of movies showing and those on the way soon.

This is a very nice facility with several theaters that can show 3D movies. Unfortunately no one swept the theater before we saw our first run movie and the bathroom needs a little bit of updating. The 3D glasses that I received needed cleaning....old seats troublesome locks. The folks who served us were very pleasant and polite.

Came to the last showing on a Monday 30 mins after the movie started we went to buy more popcorn and drinks and were told they were not selling anything anymore. We were never informed we would not be able to buy anything else. Pretty disappointed.

This is the least expensive theatre in the Portland area. The seats aren’t as comfortable and the stadium style seating is oddly shaped; but the concessions are cheaply priced and the staff are speedy filling orders. The only down side is that it’s a bit of a drive from Portland.

Fantastic staff!! Loved the service. The staff looked us in the eyes, smiled, and weren’t afraid to ask us questions in order to offer help. We were actually treated as human beings!! And they went out of their way to be kind. Very patient and helpful as my large family took a long time to order concessions and had some special requests. (And later, when I looked lost and wandering, someone was there to ask “Are you looking for the bathroom?” “Yes actually.” “Restrooms are right over there.” And all the theater and restroom facilities were very clean!) My family and I had truly a wonderful and enjoyable time. We hope to go back soon! Thank you!!

Went to see el royal if I'm spelling correctly, and on the website they say close at 11pm and the movie was scheduled for 10pm and when we went they said they closed early at 730 pm on Wednesday but it's not posted on the website. If they are closing early they should not have a website that not only says a showing at 10 but they should also have correct hours of operation.

One of my favorite places to see a movie. Employees are very friendly, the popcorn has real butter, and the screen/soundsystem are great. Only reason for 4/5 stars is that their seats aren't up to the comfort level of some other theaters seats. I believe they're going to be updating soon.

I've been a loyal moviegoer at this location for years just refuse to go anywhere else. I'm willing to drive all the way out to Cornelius to pay a decent price, sprinkle little seasoning on my own popcorn and enjoy a movie. BUT, I can say that I'm starting to get a little annoyed at the prices which seem to be going up and up, I shouldn't have to be charged more just because the movie you're showing is in the theater with the bigger screen and all the BOOZE you think people need at a movie theater. I'm just there to watch the movie. The seats are still aging even if you do have huge flat-screen TVs everywhere on the wall- pretty sure the price to pop popcorn is the same even though you're charging me several dollars more per bucket. what was great and kept me coming back before was that it was small and simple , seems like it's trying to get flashy like all the rest of the theaters and charge more and more without keeping the basics up to speed clean and up-to-date Keep it simple and the prices low If I have to pay higher prices on the ticket and the popcorn and the pop just to pay for the big screen that's telling me about the higher prices on the popcorn and the pop and the Coming Attractions then I'm going to start going somewhere else cuz I'm already paying for all that at other theaters AND they are closer to me.

Maybe tonight was an exception, but this was the filthiest theater I have ever been in. Maybe short staffed over the holiday, but it obviously had not been swept in a while. Popcorn on top of sticky floors, candy and trash everywhere. I should have taken a picture but didn't giving them another chance. Should not have been like this.

Went here for the first time and saw Joker. Great movie. But, this is not a movie review, this is a theater review. We just moved to Cornelius a month and a half ago and have driven by the Cornelius 10 Cinemas many times since. My son, Bruce, had thought the place looked "sketchy". I talked him into going and checking it out to really see what it's like. Boy, were we wrong! Everything was clean, nice looking decor, and best of all the prices are very reasonable. The folks working the theater were pleasant, friendly and informative about the place and told as about the improvements and such. The recently added ZGRs [Zero Gravity Recliners] are really nice... I hope they upgrade all of their cinemas with them. We were VERY pleasantly surprised and now have a new favorite theater! And, it's practically in our back yard! Thanks!

Cornelius 9 Cinemas is an excellent choice for people on a budget or who don't like long lines or crowds. The place has not been upgraded like a lot of the other theaters in the surrounding areas but is your standard movie experience.

It would have been great if they had let the audience know what was going on with the machine. No communications, we were waiting for 10min and when I finally told staffs about it the movie finally started. It was 5:25 MI fall out.

The signage for this cinema is easy to miss on a busy road, so set up your GPS. Seats are comfy and there is enough leg room. Sound system could be better, but that may be a function of the lack of viewers when we visited.

Won't be back. Went to see IT today and the times were incorrect. We drove 30 minutes just to see the movie. We could have gone to Regal, but Cornelius is closer. Since we have kids in school, we couldn't wait for the 1:10 showing.Waste of gas. So disappointed. We don't often go to the movies anymore. The theater itself is just fine and the room with the largest screen also has a place to buy beer to drink while watching the movie but they also charge a little more to watch movies on this screen. Overall movies are getting to be so expensive and that is what I don't like about it. You used to be able to see a movie for a good price and the cost would go up if you bought theater snacks but that was a choice. Now it costs a family of 5 over $50 just to see a movie no snacks.

They always have the new movies, the atmosphere in the lobby feels relaxed, and their bargain night is excellent. I've seen a lot of movies here since the first time I visited, which was a first date of a relationship that's going on 4 years now... so I get warm fuzzy feelings every time I go. Their prices on concessions are pretty average but a small soda and a small popcorn are definitely a good portion of each. My only complaint is that the seats don't exactly cater to people with larger butts & hips, but putting the armrests up helps, and even if that's not a problem for you, you can sit closer to your sweetheart that way. Not at all a deal breaker, I'm sure I will continue to see many more movies here.

This was one of the best theaters that I have gone to. The service was amazing, one night I went to see snow white and the huntsman and ended up in a room that was all empty, and then at the middle, I asked for popcorn but the employee said that they have ran out but gave me a big bag of the last Bach of popcorn to make up for it. It’s close to home, the prices are good, and usually if I want to see a movie, they have it! Moviepass works great here and they have Star Wars collectibles all over the place. They have a bar near one of the screens, but my advice would be to make it more welcoming. Maybe allow me to order drinks at concessions and make it more advertised whether I can have it in every screen or just certain screens.

The crew of this Act theater didn't even clean the theater before the next showing. The seats were torn and falling apart and it smelled. I was not pleased. Regal theater always for me.

THIS PLACE IS AWSOME AND WONDERFUL i took my grandson here one day and had such a good time and they have some broken arcade machines for my stupid grandson to play when where waiting for the movie then when we where watching the movie their was some annoying teens that didnt help me off the floor bc ive fallen and i cant get up then my heroic grandson beat the teenageres up bc we where watching a suuper hero movie and he got inspired so beat them up and helped me up thank u spiderman now my grandson is a great strong soft musculer child this place has changed my life next time i come here i might just be a super granny just maybe tho idk but untill i come back im just gonna write these awsome revfeiws sorry for my poor grammar i am a granny anyways

We go there frequently. The movies and sound system are fine.The seats are comfortable and stadium style, however the auditoriums smell dirty and could use cleaning and disinfecting! The staff are friendly mostly. There is one young man who can be less than engaging and seems not to like his job much. Nice looking kid, just a stick in the mud.

This place is great. I actually live very close to a regal with an rpx but it's always so busy that we just end up not going, not any more. We got there a few minutes before the show and bought tickets popcorn, candy, and beer with time to find good seats. All the prices are reasonable and the staff friendly. The only problem I had was that we found one squeaky seat which was mildly annoying.

Today June 5th 2016 my husband and I were celebrating his birthday so he wanted to watch one of his favorite movies Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, so we took a toddler baby girl and a 18 month old baby boy they both also like ninja turtles movies, as we walk to the lobby for some refreshing drinks we asked for one large drink for hubby and me also two slushy blue drinks for both of them, but she only give us one full one and the other cup wasn't completely full that's when We both asked her if that slushy was going to cost less than the other one, her reaction was that she could put it on a smaller cup there was something wrong with their slushy equipment, for my surprise she did it again it was not properly filled up I mention it to her but she ask me if I didn't wanted, wow how can they treat people like that, we are the customers and we deserve some respect.

Enjoyed my experience last night except something was wrong with the sprites we had. One friend had a small Sprite and said it was fine. I had a large and it didn't quite taste right, but I was thirsty so I drank it anyway. Big mistake. I started feeling weird partway through the movie, then my mouth got extremely dry and nothing would help. Even now almost 24 hours later the dryness is still lingering! My eyes also dialated really large and I couldn't sleep at all last night. I looked like I was on drugs. I now also have a headache. Another friend also had a large Sprite and hers tasted so terrible nobody would drink it. (She didn't bring it up until after mine was gone or I wouldn't have drank mine.) Maybe we just had the end of a batch or something, I have no idea what it could have been caused by, but being miserable since then has certainly put a damper on my experience!

The last two times I've been to this theater have not been good experiences and there was months between the two visits because of how awful the last time was. But I decided to give them another try. This morning I took my family to see a movie at 11:30am, the posted price for tickets was $6.50 however I was charged $6.75 per ticket. When I told the man issuing the tickets that the price was wrong he shrugged and said "oh......okay" That's it, oh *long pause* okay. I went online and now see that basically EVERY single price is different than advertised! Very sneaky to advertise one price but then charge an extra quarter, it may not seem like much but with a large family that can add up and besides it's the principal of the matter. The bathroom inside was not picked up there were paper towels and toilet tissue on the floor and the sinks were wet which is sad since this was the first movie of the day.

This place is rarely super busy. Maybe the owners don't prefer that, of course, but if you go here at any slightly unusual time, you may easily get the whole theater to yourself. Has happened to me probably 5 times here. It's great. Oh, and they give you free seasoning things for your popcorn, so that's pretty awesome as well. I would say for everyone to go here, since it's great, the staff is friendly, and the prices are fair, but then the theaters would probably be packed, so... Stay home, kids.

We hate the almost monopolistic situation of movie theatre in Portland and Regal erosion of customer service and cleanliness, so the Act V theater Cornelius 9 is always where we check first for movies.

A bit older but clean. Hugh parking lot, no alcohol available at the time of my visit. Ole school concessions. NOT CROWDED earns an extra star!

This movie theater is a big 10/10. It will always be my number place to go see new releases. The staff are helpfull and nice. I LOVE the nachos there, aswell as the hot dogs.

Great prices, always clean and buttering your own popcorn and adding colonel seasonings is soooo much better than any other theater! Top notch staff too!
