This Movie Theater is included in the category of Movie theater.
A great independent movie theater in downtown. They have a good selection of movies and are reasonably priced. The staff is always nice and helpful.
Rooms can be claustrophobic, typical movie experience otherwise
I love everything about the Broadway Metro!
An absolute treasure of a theater, and love that Eugene has a place like this to see a film. Small, independent, and state of the art. And they use real organic butter on their popcorn
Fantastic place to watch a movie. Cozy theaters, beer, food options. Always has movies that sometimes don't make it to the big theaters. Would highly recommend.
Intimate venue to view exceptional films
Excellent customer service! I called and a nice young lady answered all of my questions. She was patient, upbeat and friendly. Recommend this place to everyone, good old fashion values and service. ♡
Everything was either to small or not long enouph
Awesome place
Any theater that plays a Frank Zappa movie is #1 in my book.
very friendly service
Absolutely love the simplicity of this theatre. The owners are super nice and the atmosphere is fun. Great beer selection and the popcorn is fantastic. I love walking to this theatre from my house and when I do drive, I never have issues with parking.
So awesome! I bring all my friends here
Nice small theater. It's more like a personal home theater but provides much better sound experience. I don't know if paying 9 bucks for a better sound is worth it; It depends heavy on personal tastes I guess.
Lovely little place with great customer service
Get popcorn with cheddar and parmesan!!! It's so good. Nice selection of beers and wines.
Comfy small theater with movies not often found in the big theaters. Comfortable and in a great neighborhood.
Great local theatre! Offers independent options the multiplex often doesn't.
Great popcorn! The movies are good too, and Samantha was really sweet.
great place clean establishment comfortable seats great refreshment bar alcohol is available. A+ RECOMMENDED ESTABLISHMENT 5 STAR RATING
This is a wonderful place to be escape from the crassness of the usual multi-plex theatres. I always feel like an adult during and after visiting, it's a respite from the world that is always welcome.
Great indie, foreign and quality movies in a cozy, NON-Megaplex setting. Get there ahead of time to get a good seat (last rows) so you won't have to sit 6-7 feet from the screen. Theaters sit approximately 18-23 in fairly comfy rocking chairs. Yummy food and a variety of drinks.
Groovy metro urbane art house, four screens
I've only been once but I loved this little theater. It's cozy and comfortable and the prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a giant megaplex this isn't it. It's a fairly small theater room and the sound wasn't painfully loud like the larger theaters in town. I really appreciated that.
Good small theaters with excellent selections. Popcorn awesome. 9 bucks for a downtown movie but you see good independent films and wide variety of predictable times. Seating is comfy and roomy. Get there early
Great small cinema with nice beers on tap.
I love it here. Get a groupon. Surprisingly that’s still a thing and a good deal.
What a joy it is to have an art cinema downtown. It brings some of the best films being made today from all parts of the world. The seats are comfortable and have been positioned to avoid the head in front of you from obscuring the view. Their choice of films is excellent and they have beer and wine.
Great seats, feels like a home theater
Absolutely adorable set up for a theater. My husband and I had an excellent date night!!
I love this place!!
Definitely cool vibe and old school approach. Like the beers and ciders. Wish they played a little more main stream stuff sometimes but totally respect the Indie films they show.
In this world of hyper-commercial movie theaters, this little theater in downtown is a real gem. The screens may be small, but you are so close that it doesn't matter. The staff is very nice, the sound is great (I can't go to the big theaters without ear-plugs - they have become so loud) and they serve a nice selection of beer and wine. Go there and vote with your pocketbook!
Great atmosphere, friendly & helpful staff, and a solid selection of more underground movies.
Very nice staff. Small theater.
Nice, cozy place to watch a flick and get a beer. Plus it's super-conveniently located across the street from my favorite burger joint: Killer Burger!
Always pleasant staff and just nice to be there.
Love in every way. Great visual mojo here Spirits, snacks served pour tout Haiku 4 You
My first trip to the new & expanded Broadway Metro. Wow! Stadium seating on a small scale! (Small compared to the multiplex chains; larger compared to the Broadway's other theaters.) I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
Fantastic theater! Easy to get tickets, great staff, serves beer at the concession stand and the PERFECT prices. Best cinema in town simply cause of the cost.
Wonderfully intimate screening rooms showing top-notch independent and documentary films. Great selection of beer, wine, kombucha, and other drinks.
This little theater is awesome. We will be watching all our movies there from now on.
Best local theater. Affordable snacks including beer, wine and cider, comfy seats.
Clean little theaters which we enjoyed watching a movie while sipping a beer.
I love this theatre. Great movie selection, small sceening rooms. Beer on tap. Not a bad seat anywhere.
My favorite Eugene movie theater
Great small theater! Good food options
Delicious drinks and my favorite popcorn. Get it with nutritional yeast and cheddar. Intimate and nice setting.
Small comfortable theatre. Good draft beer and popcorn
This theater is fantastic! The seats are comfortable, the theaters are intimate but very spacious, the concessions and tickets are well priced and it's very stylish. I especially love the walls covered with movie posters. It has a very genuine feel that you don't get at a Regal or a Bijou, a place that's obviously owned by lovers of film. They show both indie and first run blockbusters here. I highly recommend this place.
Fun theatre. Cozy seating. Lots of food and drink options.
Intimate theater. We've only been to Theater 1so far, but enjoyed this micro version of a theater. Almost like having a media room at home. Plus wine and beer available. Excellent choice of interesting movies. Right in happening downtown Eugene.
Beautiful theater, amazing seating! Best theater in town.
The Bijou Metro has quickly become a necessary part of Eugene's downtown revitalization project. Finally there is something to do besides eat & drink. Open late with an incredible staff and selection of films. These folks have charmed up that neighborhood real nice. And they serve Planktown beer!
I like this place! It's really classic and great
This is a hip and modern Place. Great for dates! You can have a really good meal, drink a beer and watch a movie. Throw in a couple of prophylactics and you've got yourself a real party!
My favorite goto movie theatre. Small but all the seating is excellent. See the most recent Art Cinema.
Great movie experience!
Watched the I Tania movie. Nice venue comfortable setting. I defiantly recommend this place.
Great quaint little theatre.
Very nice small theater. Shows a assortment of movies. Recommend looking inside theater #1. Its really small!
Quaint and intimate movie viewing experience. Concessions are reasonable by theater standards. They have beer and hard cider! Hope to visit again soon.
Small theaters, good seats, movies that you won't see everywhere.
A most romantic and cozy place to watch a movie
Charming theatre, good choices, friendly staff. Love this place!
Fun, hip atmosphere! I liked this venue and I like that they show unique films
Great little independent (I think?) movie theater that focuses on smaller movies. Screens are smaller than a big chain Cineplex (typical size for an arthouse theater), but sound is excellent.
I love the smaller theater space. Feels cozy.
The future of movie theaters
Not the best place in Eugene to see a movie.
TG for the Bijou. It's like way downtown, even the other one.
This was a great place to watch movies because it's very small and low-key. It's all gray for going to lunch on downtown and then watching AA movie here.
Great little 4 screen theatre. Friendly staff, excellent seating and decor. Arrive early as the seating is limited and can be very close to the screen in the front row.
I have never been here until recently and I love the old school movie theater vibe, even though it is such a small place. Couple that with the fact that you can enjoy a beer and you have a very nice arthouse movie experience
Great little theatre!
We have enjoyed Broadway Metro movies. We go because they frequently bring in special productions. In this case we saw Free Solo. It will be an Oscar buzz documentary. Good seating if you arrive early. Very comfortable. Fresh popcorn with real butter. Only drawbacks are street people and small size theatres, 4.
A great little movie complex in the heart of downtown Eugene. My son and I watched the Jimmy Chin documentary Free Solo. Our theater had 16 seats, great sound. And you can purchase and bring adult beverages into the theater.
Intimate comfortable surroundings!
Nice seats.
Unique shows, comfortable seats, best theater popcorn (it's real), nice beers on tap
If you are going to a newer release or popular film as a couple get there early. They recently expanded and the new theaters have two rows up front that are too close to the screen to be usable. The theater says they do not sell tickets for these rows but they also do not have any instruction to not skip seats making the theater fill up quickly. We were forced to sit in the second row and look straight up. Two couples came in after us that proceeded to leave due to the seating. We considered the same at many points through the movie but let our necks tough it out. I may give the theater another chance much later in the future when they get things a little more straightened out.
Off typical / Sun dance style of movies/films. Cozy small theaters. Great concessions at fair prices. Often on groupon
Good movies right downtown!
Nice small theater
The Metro is one of the two best places in town to see good movies and eat yummy food in a cozy setting.
Excellent sound system. Love the ambiance of nothing corporate. Real butter on fabulous popcorn for a decent price. The seats are comfortable. The selections are inspiring.
Reasonable prices and a steady flow of artsy movies (my personal fave), I love this place. Their menu is quite extensive and their employees are always polite.
Favorite location in the whole city. Excellent customer service, superb movies, and for a movie theater, far more reasonable prices than cinemas like Regal and Cinemark
Wonderful downtown cinema with great food and cozy theaters.
Smaller, intimate theaters.
I came here the other day and had a splendid time. They were clean and employees had positive attitudes.
Cozy little multi-screen movie theater.
Its small but the movies are amazing.
Great place to see a good movie
Yes
Charleston chew
They have the best selection of independent & foreign films. Great selection in beer and kombucha. Affordable!
Grrat movie
Such a quaint theatre. My husband and I loved the small theatre environment, and unique films shown. Make sure to try the popcorn with garlic/Parmesan. They have a good selection of wine and beer too. A little expensive but nothing more than the traditional chain theatre. Parking can be a bit difficult but is expected for downtown.
Good concessions and seating.
Artsy.
Really cute movie theater! Staff are absolutely wonderful.
Meh, first time there wasn't too impressed. The cashier seemed irritated and the snacks were a little stale. The place itself was pretty neat though. Very cozy small theater rooms.
Fantastic movies.
Overall comfortable feel here. More choices in snack bar at lower prices than other theaters.
Love the arts programs
Great movies and great viewing experience
Love it
Broadway Metro is a very nice independent movie theatre! Cozy theatres with comfortable seats and great sound quality. Seeing a matinee there for $6.00 a ticket is a great deal! The staff are very friendly, they greet you when you come in and when you leave. Excellent popcorn with added butter was a steal at $4.50 for a medium size, which comfortably feeds two. They even offer organic popcorn and butter, have a wide variety of drinks to choose from: soda, kombucha, wine and beer. I highly recommend a visit to this quaint, independent theatre!
This is, hands down, the best place in Oregon to see a movie. Supporting a local business, as well as getting a crack at films you'd never find elsewhere, and the atmosphere really feels like going to the movies in a way that the big mall theaters doesn't anymore.
Love it. Never a bad experience.
Nice intimate theater
Neat venue. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. We will be back.
This is my theater of choice. Small and clean.
This is a fun, inexpensive and small theater for watching some great films. I want to go back.
Tiny theatre. Cozy little spot downtown where you can see some films that aren't at the big box theatres. And grab a brew and some grub from next door and bring it with. Most rooms sit 25-40 I think
Really cute small theater that serves beer & wine. Nestled between shops & restaurants in our funky hip open market downtown. It was truly an exciting evening. Love it!
Single entry door off street into small lobby where they serve beer and popcorn that I know of. It is a group of 5 small theatres with seating for like maybe 25 people each. I didn't count but, it was clean and cozy. I liked it a lot. Only downside was having to pay for parking. I would go there again and it is 50 miles away from me.
Drinks and food at the teacher
Great movie house but not enough seating
We always enjoy the movies played here in the cozy environment.
Worst parking of the three independent theaters. Highest ticket prices of the three theaters and the smallest theaters. I will only be going again if they're showing something that Bijou or David Minor isn't showing that I want to see. Their popcorn is the second best out of the three independent theaters. They should super team up with Sizzle Pie and sell slices. That would help a lot.
Fun smaller venue
Was cute! Watched Apollo 11 documentary there. Which I was happy to be able to see it in town. Seats were pretty comfortable and i didn't feel like I was going to fall over like at bijou haha. If you don't like the crowds like at Cinemark or Regal this is a great alternative. They seem to show the big blockbuster films too!
Newer to the art-house scene in Eugene, but a solid selection of artsy & international flics. Go early you don't want the front row in the smaller theaters.
Great theatre! Friendly staff
Very comfortable and classy
One of my favorite places to see movies I love the new theaters. Their organic popcorn and Kombucha is fantastic the best
A movie with a beer. what could be better? The Metro really classes up all of downtown, and I intend to be back.
Great theater, comfy seats and nice staff. Awesome experience.
Awesome
Locally owned theater showing indie and pop films as well as big theater productions.
I thoroughly enjoy the small theatres, the kind staff and the yummy popcorn. I buy a yearly pass and then I can go to the movies for $3.00 a movie all year (I'm elderly). I like the location because I live downtown. The downtown Bijou is a gift that keeps giving. Carolyn Shawgo
The decor inside is so neat. There are a lot of classic movie posters and signage. They serve beer which is great and the theatres only sit about 25 or so people. It's extremely cozy.
Small independent film theatre, limited seating, excellent film variety.
Its small, cozy little theaters, hold a different experience that's nice! Less of a crowd of people, fun place to enjoy a movie! I was worried bc it was almost full, but even the front row worked out just fine for us, and going w/ a friend made it a sweet day!
Great tasteful films for the most part.
Lovely movie theater with reasonably priced tickets and snacks.
Boy erased is a thoughtful movie with excellent performances by the main character's protagonists.
Super cool posters, good beer and cider selection. Staff was quite friendly.
Very comfortable seating, personal feel. Highly recommended!
A wonderful spot to enjoy one on one time in a theatre. The intimacy of the seating arrangement allows for personal interaction while also respecting other spectators at the same time, but "please, sir, I'm already in the front row. Wouldn't you mind keeping your feet off my seat?" 10/10 will attend again.
This theater is dear to me. They do not have fancy reclining seating, or that many screens- however they do a great job of curating their movie selection and do host a couple of film festivals, and I really appreciate having an outlet for that type of art in Eugene.
Love this theater. Movie selection is eclectic, seats are comfy and mounted on a pitch (no bad seats) , picture and sound are good, screening rooms are tiny! They have beer and ciders and nutritional yeast for the popcorn. Oh, and prices are reasonable. What's not to like?
Sweet locally owned indie cinema. Super people. EASILY THE BEST CINEMA IN ALL OF EUGENE WITHOUT A DOUBT.
The best place to see a movie in Eugene.
I love the small movie theaters, great sound and the snack are good.
This is the coolest theater in Eugene.
Cozy. Good for watching....(how should I put this?).... artistic movies.
Great local arts theatre. Small, intimate theatres. Good selection of snacks and drinks.
Small theater focused on indie movies. Come at least 10-15 min before the movie starts to get a good seat.
Great little 4 screen theater art films , independents, foreign. Almost all very good . Small theater rooms with comfortable seats, good snacks and beer etc. Paired with its sister theater- the original Bijou there's always something interesting to see.
Love the awesome flicks shown here, thank you
Looooved this theater. Went with a Groupon, got a killer deal. The popcorn was good, the drink choice was excellent, and the seats in the theater were comfortable.
Loved it!
Awesome little theater
My second choice after The Bijou - If there's an excellent film out, it'll make it to The Metro eventually. Smaller theaters ... there's awesome pizza across the street, ice cream just next door, and doughnuts a block away.
A lovely little downtown movie theatre with fantastic coffee! The staff are always so cool and knowledgeable about indie films. The auditoriums are small so get there early if you don’t want to sit right in front of the screen. Also go on Saturdays and say Hi to Dan, because he’s the coolest.
