RIP Cinetopia. Why does AMC get to keep their previous reviews and rating? We'll come try again in another month or two; it was painfully obvious that the theater is still undergoing the transition to AMC. Multiple employees were being trained/shadowed while we were there, and the atmosphere is severely lacking... so I'll have to do a follow-up once it gets on its feet. However, this is where it stands at the moment: 1. The food is horrible. As others have said, RIP cinetopia fries. And cinetopia everything else, really. We ordered two burgers, the BBQ Bacon and the Jalapeno, and we weren't sure if we were eating each others burger for the first half of our meals. The lettuce was slimy and wilted, the meat was tasteless and I didn't taste a single hint of any actual flavor (other than slimy onions) until I was 5 bites in. Additionally, the fries were a mix of undercooked and soggy (due in part to being served under a plastic lid for no reason), and my cup of ketchup arrived with a skin on it like it had been sitting out for hours. Absolutely disappointing, and not at all worth $15 each. 2. The feel was just... off and unprofessional. The theater was dark and the screen was off all the way through the adds right up until the trailers, and I had to request that they turn on air conditioning as it was stuffy, hot and smelly. There was trash in our cupholders as well. Lastly, they don't have anything to eat ON. No trays or anything; we were brought our food in to-go containers and handed silverware. Eating on your lap in a dark theater is insane. It's a real shame that AMC took over and ruined a great theater, and we left agreeing that we had no desire to come back... but I feel like we'll have to see again in a few months (if it survives). I'd like to give this place a 1.5, but here we are. A third RIP to cinetopia.

Has the going out of business vibe and seats were not comfortable.

When this was a Cinetopia theater, it was pretty good. Not perfect, but very little to complain about, especially if it was your closest theater. They had great things like: - Plenty of showtimes where if you just showed up about 10 minutes early, you could have an order taken from your seat, delivered to your seat, for the cost of the food and a requested tip. This was one thing that really set Cinetopia apart, as their whole menu of food and drinks could be brought right to you with no inconvenience as the moviegoer. - A self service ticket kiosk so that at the end of it all, you potentially wouldn't wait in a single line over the course of the entire experience. - Food wasn't absolutely amazing, but it was certainly good enough to warrant ordering. Since AMC has taken over, they basically got rid of all of this, along with eliminating things like 21+ showings. They've replaced all of it with near overwhelming disappointment. If Cinetopia was a premium theater experience, you can be sure that AMC has rubbed the lack of charm of a large theater chain all over it. Since going on June 2nd, right after the theater reopened, the experience has been and stayed disappointing. It was excusable enough back then after they likely lost staff during the transition, had to train employees in AMC programs, and had to reconcile changes to a theater designed around explicit purposes that AMC has no interest in continuing. The problem is, a month and a half later, the theater is still basically in the same state it was at the beginning of June. The theater is woefully understaffed, so already good luck with concessions. If there's actually a line, you're better off foregoing concessions completely unless you like spending 10 minutes in line to move up a single spot. They inexplicably removed and have not replaced the self service ticket kiosks, so you have to stand in line at the box office or just give up and walk in if you bought the ticket online like most people do anymore. There still was not a menu up at the concessions counter as of last night. It looked like they finally had one up, but hadn't actually uncovered it yet. The incompetence that has gone into the transition is easiest to see when they couldn't even get a menu up in the better part of two months. Stack my complaints against the others in the reviews here, and it paints the picture of a once quality theater being tossed into the trash as AMC puts forth the bare minimum effort to operate a theater. I honestly can't recommend this theater if you can easily go absolutely anywhere else. Check out the Regal in Tigard if you want a theater close enough to AMC that actually offers a fairly premium experience.

Great cinema experience. Lots to eat and drink and seat service. Would give 5 stars but this place is in need of some freshening up. The seats are starting to shoe their age. The service in the lobby is always a bit so-so. Not enough staffing it seems and waits can be rather long.

Doug Heller

Went to the movie parlour to watch a movie, and it was disgusting. Foot prints on the tables and broken seats that sagged half way to the floor. I really hope that AMC ups their game and cleanliness!

Tara Howden

The food was really good, but honestly I expected more as far as seating and comfort. The "reclining leather seats" in the main theater, only stay reclined if you are pushing back. Might be just fine for a tall person who has the legs\leverage to comfortably push against the back of the seat. I am 5'5"

Carrie Gedeon

I hadn't been back to this place since AMC bought it until a couple of days ago, and I definitely won't be coming back. Cinetopia was the luxury theater we used to drive further to in order to have a nice experience, but AMC has completely ruined it. We were told you could buy alcohol in the wine lounge area (which is weird and looks like an airport lounge), but that we couldn't bring it into the theater, and then we saw someone bring beers in, so that was confusing. The seats were SO OLD and uncomfortable, and even though they have decent food options that they bring to your seat, there's no place to eat it, so it's pointless. We couldn't find napkins anywhere so we asked an employee and he told us to go get paper towels from the bathroom (still laughing about that). Won't be coming back for sure.

Michaéla Dragon

Prices in the restaurant have gone WAY up, for less service.

Cole Hafner

Not much has changed since AMC took over.

Kip Ching

Great couch seating, they also have stadium seating in the larger auditoriums, but have smaller large chair/couch style seating as well. Food & drink service in the auditoriums as well. The have the tight wad Tuesdays which are cheaper than most theaters that give the Tuesdays discounts

Jeremy Kenedy

It was a nice theater when it was Cinetopia. Now it is run down. The place seems dirty, the chairs are beat up, and amenities are gone. I was impressed when I first went here before the change in ownership and it was my favorite theater. But now, I avoid this theater.

Christopher Brown

It's okay here. The dine-in menu is not very friendly towards keto-ers, unless you just go with a pretty standard burger. Back when it was "Cinetopia", they had a few other options, such as the lemongrass chicken skewers that were keto-friendly. Theater #1-7 are generally ... not my favorite. Theater #4 is very uncomfortable. Theater #12 is....perpetually sticky. Theater #8-11 are all okay.

Stephanie Brockway

So disappointed, we were served raisinettes that tasted funny , after the movie discovered they were a year expired ! There response to making me ill when I returned the box was to give me another box! Thanks but I’m never eating them again. My feet were in a sticky mess on the floor in the bar. Seeing the help wanted sign when buying tickets and before the movie should of clued us in.

Bryan Santino

Cinatopia did it right. AMC ruined the experience. 0/10. I'm never going there again. -the food was bad, and over priced. -the service was mediocre. -the environment was not as lively. It felt so lifeless being in there compared to when it was Cinatopia. out-there is no appeal to go there vs. Any other theaters now. Every other theater is cheaper and in my case, closer with the same, or better service. If a business is to thrive, they better be fast, of quality, or cheap. They are none of these now. It is a disappoint to see what AMC did to Cinatopia. I hope someone can bring a new line of "Cinatopia" theaters to the market.

Darline McHarless

Don't buy the tickets get a Groupon. It's the cheap and Frugal way to go. Like any other theater everything is going to be crazy overpriced. But it is nice that they do serve alcohol there and they even have a 21 and over Lounge. Which I really like to get away from the kids that seem to not turn off their cell phones even during a movie. Also note, once you buy a soda and get your ticket you can leave and come back out of the theater. Hint hint

Konnie McKee

This theatre looks run down since AMC took over from Cinetopia

Doug McLean

Nice and roomy. Sitting in the back two rows is definitely the way to go because you have the screen fairly close to you to begin with. Having dinner served to you in the theater was an additional plus, and not too much overpriced versus some of the other options around for going out to dinner beforehand.

PeterSu Copley

This is an upscale theater experience. Servers wait on you in your lounge chair while you wait for the movie to start. They clear your trash at the end of the movie. They serve a full menu including alcohol. They do charge premium prices but what a great way to impress your date! The screens are large and clear plus the sound is not blasting but just the right level to create an enjoyable movie watching experience.

Johanna Akers

So disappointing! We waited in the concession line for 30 minutes! Only 2 registers were open. This is a holiday weekend where more people should have been working. Because it took so long to get our food we missed all of the previews and the beginning of our movie. Staff didn't seem to care that we had to wait in line so long. One, I'm assuming, "manager" said she was going to help the concession crew right away but ended up walking off and didn't actually come help for several minutes. She served a few guests popcorn and then left. Once we got into the theater, late, all the lights were still on. I had to go out and tell the staff to turn them off. Again, it took several minutes for anyone to do something about it. Sound quality was not great. The floors were super sticky! The popcorn tasted terrible! Super unhappy to see that the menu in 1/10 of the size it was before and way too expensive for what you get. Also, the bathroom obviously hadn't been checked in a very long time. Toilet paper and liners were out in multiple stalls. Easy to say that I won't be going back!

Dean Sanchez

Love this Cinetopia! Great food and great service.

Michael Korb

I love coming to Cinetopia as do you my friends. Tuesday is cheap movie night always fun plus they have two dollar select beers. Wednesday’s are a delicious hamburger night seven dollars at the time of writing comes with cheeseburger and fries absolutely fantastic. I’ve noticed they are also selling beer and wine near the movie entrance from a little stand which I think is a fantastic idea. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to watch movies.

Amy Stratton

Seats were uncomfortable, squeaked, broken. Cashier was nice but extremely slow when most people are in a hurry - extremely painful, we almost just walked out and left.

Candace White

We were so excited when they re-opened this theatre last week. Hoping that they would have cleaned it up a bit. It was dirtier than ever. Our shoes stuck to the floor. Food was delivered in clunky packaging. Seats are still torn and broken down. Too many options in town to give our money to this place until they put some effort into sprucing it up! What a mess.

Kaylynn C

Overall, just an awful overpriced theater. Uncomfortable, old and worn down seats. The food is ok but there's a hidden fee that you'll never know about because they won't give you an itemized receipt (or a receipt at all). They advertise they have Coke Freestyle but they don't. Last night was the second time in a month that I've come across them running out of napkins which is really odd. I signed up for the A List and plan on cancelling next month (3 month minimum membership) and switching over to Regal.

Raymond Mueller

This theater is in desperate need of renovations, it was the worst movie theater I have every been to. I would recommend going elsewhere if another theater is available. It was not only rundown, but was dirty and had broken seats. Sorry AMC you can and should do better

Jose Flores

Great movie experience, food is not the best if you decide to order, drinks are not bad though especially considering you can drink beer while sitting in a sofa at a theater.

Mike Matychuck

We love seeing movies here. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it's a little expensive. But go and treat yourself to some good beer, good food and comfortable movie viewing.

Thomas G.

Do you know if they have reclining seats here ?

Don Frye

Great theater. Next time i want to try the small ones, but the large normal type theater i tried this time was good with great sound.

Ross

Very nice movie theater Great screen but very cold bring a blanket cuz my feet were frozen by the time the movie was over. I would have given five stars if they would actually use some heat

Alicia McCusker

This place is a disgusting, over priced, disempowering, and a sad business. The employees/managers aren’t empowered to make decisions for their customers. The food is primarily microwaved while charging restaurant prices and the drinks are horribly inflated without ambiance. The issue is 100% AMC who took over a healthy thriving business and replaced it with a broken, corporate, and cheap business model. Completely pathetic. Don’t go there if you value people, customer service, and local investment. There are plenty of other businesses and theaters in the area.

Kendra Miller

The seating was so cozy and the food was delicious. The staff was professional and very organized. We got there an hour before our movie was to start not knowing what to expect. The restaurant was busy but we ordered our beers to go. Went to our assigned seats a half hour before the movie. Servers were running around trying to get everyone's order. They got ours right as the movie started. Our food came in a timely manner. I was impressed by the servers delivering orders in the dark. Expensive but great for a special occasion.

Kathryn Booth

Had a nice time. The seating was different, but comfotable. The expeeience was worth the trip.

John Andries

Food was terrible. The public sees real plates and glasses but we got paper plates, plastic silverware, and what I hope was real chicken. Cinetopia before the takeover had the best chicken tenders, I got them Everytime. Now, you had something resembling chicken. It was terrible. My wife got a flat bread that arrived in a cardboard box. This was all in the restaurant, not in the theatre. We were told that we weren't allowed to sit in the restaurant when they were busy for the future, but we were the only ones there at 6pm. Never again.

Erin Kowal

Great theaters. The seating is really cozy. No local beers though, which is really disappointing.

Haley Washington

We used to love coming here when it was Cinetopia. I know I’m just repeating what everyone else has said, but it is garbage since new ownership. We haven’t even been here 20 minutes and we are already so disappointed. $14 tickets, no in theater service, they don’t have a great selection of food anymore either, and the bathrooms were just horrendous. I wish I could give this zero stars.

Sachin Tharakan

Food was surprisingly good especially my Avocado Chicken sandwich and fries. Lines to order food can have long wait times unless you are a Premier member. They don't have in seat ordering feature yet. Theater experience is nothing special.

Helen C

This former Cinetopia theater has lost a lot of what I used to enjoy: great food menu (replaced by a limited and more expensive menu), eclectic art, and the feel of a more unique space (now its just another corporation). I will still be coming here regularly since there is still comfy seating and Tuesday tickets are still $5 (make sure you join their free rewards program or else you pay full price). RIP french fries. I regret not consuming you more when I had the chance. You will be missed.

Travis Robicheaux

As pricey as Cinetopia is sometimes I usually have a great time here. I love the seats and how much leg room you have.

neel joshi

Seats were awkward! Seats looked like normal seats acting like wanna be Recliner seats

Cindy Hoek

No recliners, no seat side service. I thought dine in meant you were served at your seat. Popcorn was awful. Not what I was expecting

jonathan rios

I drove a hour from troutdale too enjoy the late night showing of john wick at 11pm at night. The theater was very clean and seems to offer food ( not when I was there unfortunately) and a dine in experience. I did not get that. There was. Nothing but water and candy with 4 more shows going. My only complaint is that i paid for a dine in experience but no food. Theater was clean and comfy i have to admit i would go back just earlier or call too make sure there still services with your movie.

The Glow Stick Guy

I wish companies would understand that you make more money when more people can afford your prices. Selling more products is better than not selling them at all. Aside from over pricing, a lot of the movie restruant food is terrible. There are some things on there worth getting but for example, the personal pizzas are worse or similar to a dollar store pizza. I love the design of the theaters and building. Wish the arcade was bigger.

Catherine Fisher

The online prices are exorbitant, convenience fee my butt! Was there after the kitchen closed so can't say if the food was good or not. But the smell in the theater itself was atrocious! I sat with my hand or shirt covering my nose through the whole movie (which was a very good movie) just to try and keep the smell at bay. If I'd have to describe it, I'd say it was a pungent mix of unwashed humans and onion.

Ana Miranda

This place has changed, ever since AMC took over, they don't offer the same kind of food they did before, you can't order inside the auditorium, many more things it's not the same.

Remington Jackson

I only have a little bit of experience going to theaters where you are serve food in the theater itself. I will say this place has a pleasant experience, and I plan to come back eventually. If you are looking for a good time and a movie to see at the same time this is probably the best place you're going to find in Oregon. Looking forward to coming back trying out some of their coffee and maybe that orange chicken or Mongolian dish they have.

Isaac Santos

Since the theater is no longer Cinetopia, I have had to change my review. Was previously 5 star, but now is a 3. Poor popcorn, nearly inedible food, and higher prices have ruined the other half of the movie experience here. The screen and seating is still quite nice, but nothing to go out of your way for

Dawn Holt

Used to be a great place to come see a show. But on my visit today, the bathrooms were dirty, and the furniture in the living room style theaters was torn and dirty. It seems that when AMC took over, they let the place go. Hope there are plans to update it but will not return in the meantime.

Mathew Miller

Definitely miss when it was Cinetopia. The people are all still friendly, service was fast and great, but the food quality is not even close to when the place was Cinetopia. The chicken bacon mac and cheese was pretty dry and kinda bland. Definitely going back and trying something different. And the seats are comfortable. Updated: So I've been back 2 more times now and dropped the review from 4 stars to 1 star. Sorry for the lengthy review, but here goes: Well I've tried AMC (3 times) since they bought out Cinetopia and made "improvements" (it's worse). Got mac and cheese the first time and it was dried out like reheated leftovers and very salty. They had also "run out" of rootbeer. That was on June 23rd. The following weekend, June 30th, we returned for Avengers Endgame and got burgers and a soda. The burger was decent but absolutely not worth the price charged (and yes I understand the convenience factor) and they had again "run out" of rootbeer. Two weeks in a row!!! So we returned yet again today, July 4th to see the new Spiderman and got milkshakes since the food clearly isn't much good (seriously eat anywhere else before hand) and it took them 30 minutes to make 2 milkshakes. Half an hour and when I went out to ask about them since it had been so long (the movie had already started by this point) they didn't even offer to bring them to our seats (which Cinetopia always offered if they messed up or got delayed). We tried ordering rootbeer again and they finally informed us that AMC does not provide rootbeer. And the milkshakes weren't bad, but $9.99? Seriously?! Missing Cinetopia more and more.

Josh Bentley

Not what it used to be. No service in the movie parlor and looked like someone vomited on the cushion. Had to change the cushion and whipe off food from the lower seating. Why charge full price if there is no service and no one cleaning up? You're embarrassing yourself by being open before it's ready.

Gene Pierce

They need more help. The people working here are doing a good job, but they can't keep up with all the customers.

Jamie Veira

I was hopeful that the buyout form AMC would bring positive changes but they only raised the prices of everything and lowered the quality of everything. The food is frozen microwaved garbage. And no more pitchers of beer. Fortunately the bar wasn't busy because there was only one person working and no one checking tickets. Most theaters have comfortable stadium seating now so save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Teddy Rhoads

What a mess. The facilities are run down, chairs broken, big paint spots missing on the walls, no napkins, and rips in the chairs. The staff only seems to want a paycheck and nothing else. Gave me tickets for the wrong time and no receipt. Luckily it wasn't a packed show. I won't be going back.

Suzie Q

It was ok. A bit overpriced for food! Popcorn for $9.50 is a bit ridiculous. The theatre isn't as nice since it changed hands and seems more run down and not taken care of. Used to be a really nice theater.

Sam G

Comfortable like cinetopia was. A nice wxperience.

June

Comfy way to watch a movie.

Jennifer McGuire

I love the movies, so when me and my husband tried out this place it was different and exciting. They have different seating in there theater rooms. Its very enjoyable. The food is great. A little pricey on the food though.

Bob Mosier

Friendly staff, but bar wasn't open until 5pm because bar staff never showed up, bathrooms had no soap, paper towel dispenser wouldn't work. Will never come again, not wroth the price food very expensive

Noe Zavala

Im sitting in here in an empty theater, nothing going on the screen, the seats are still the old seats from when it was Cinetopia, they are still disgusting, sticky and beaten up, was hoping they at least switch up the seats like they are at Cinemark, The food is still overpriced, starting to regret coming here instead of cinemark. AMC STEP IT UP

Kristy Altsuler

Used to love coming here. Great movie going experience with Lunch served to you in the movie. Well not anymore. They no longer have lunch during the week (only weekends and evenings when the place is usually packed) only the regular concession foods. Popcorn was cold and old with very little butter and the $14 pizza was not even a personal size as well as no cooked all the way through /cold in the middle. Not at all impressed with this new Cinetopia and probably will not be back if it doesn't change.

Codin Pangell

Not bad. It’s a nice spot to get a bite and watch a movie. People complain about the food but they are probably the same ones who complain about bad WiFi on a flight. It’s clean, comfortable, good seating, and sound.

Ryan Casey

you can also dine out, but that makes it hard to see the movie

Luke Whitley

I am going to follow suit here. This place is a waste bin now. Dine-in? More like order at a counter that is short staffed and get microwaved (or staying hot in metal tray) food. Pitchers of beer. Gone. 21+ showings are also gone. AMC will never care, but honestly unless you live by these new theaters, go to Regal. Better interiors, better customer service and frankly just all around a better atmosphere. I feel sorry for the kids who work here.

Neal Harvey

Dirty and poorly maintained. This was supposed to be a luxury theater, and it looks like it once was, but numerous lights were out in the walkways, and the seats were both old and very dirty. The ottomans made terrible noises when you tried to position them, the arm rests were sticky with spilled soda and old popcorn, and the seats were sticky and uncleaned. The quality of the movie and sound was fine, thus 2 stars instead of 1.

Steve Carpenter

The new AMC owners have evicerated the place. To get a ticket for the show, make a food order and get a drink you have to go to three different places, two of which had lines. No more ordering everything from your seat. As someone who saw all my top rated movies here, it's now no longer a place I want to go, as the current owners have not leveraged the strengths to make a cost-effective but customer-focused place to go to the movies. I think the former owners were on to something. . We need a reason to leave our 55" TV screens and go out to the movies. Too bad it didn't turn out to be profitable enough. :-(

Richard Teraci

Being able to reserve seats is awesome. Love the smaller theater feel and the reclining backs and dine in capability makes this theater a winner!

Sam J

This place is a dumpster fire. It was too hot and my seat was full of trash. Also the showing before got out then 5 mins later our showing started. Save your money for a quality theater.

Michelle Gibson

What a disappointment! We are here for the movie, but this is for the dine in experience. We have been to cinetopa many times. Greeted friendly ect.... today, we walked into the 'restaurant", not acknowledged. Asked if we could eat outside, they said yes, but didn't take us to a table. We said we're confused, do we order with you then take a seat? They said, uummm, you can sit and someone can help you. We looked at the menu, decided to order, said do you want us to order here? Again um, ya.... she wanted to know our seat and theater. We said, we arent ready for the movie yet,... oh ok. 2 beers and a flatbread was $39.50! After we ordered, she said , oh you want to eat here? Well isnt it a restaurant? We sat outside, with our beers (in plastic cups) the guy brings us our pizza about 15 minutes later in a Togo box. And no napkins. What is this place? They obviously are not dine-in.

Leif Webb

Has gone down hill since AMC took over. Was dirty and unfriendly. Bathrooms were a mess while staff sat at tables looking at their phones. Movie quality was great.

Stephanie Lemus

Although the place needs to renovate/update their furniture, the experience is fun.

Shanien Singley

We love this place. It's a good place to go to watch a movie for date night. Their over 21 rooms are the best. The food is wonderful as well.

Nicole Osbourne

Terrible!!!! It was much better before. Now the seats are very uncomfortable and close together. The hallways had boxes piled in them. The food counter was sticky and uninviting. The bathroom was dirty. So disappointed, I will stick with regal!

Joseph Carelock

Daughter and I watched a show in the theater, next to the restaurant. Seating were super uncomfortable and we actually had to tell them to turn the sound on. Would visit again, but chose a different theater.

Andrew Gunderson

This used to be a very nice theatre when it was the cinetopia. now it is very below average. Dirty with poor service run by high schoolers. This particular theatre (#7) hasn't been cleaned all weekend it appears. I'm not giving AMC my money anymore.

Mike Hazlett

Great theater. Great service. Dude running snacks counter was awesome

Troy Whiteley

Update: this place is trash. Filthy restrooms with no paper. Food that’s way overpriced. Hidden delivery fee. It’s understaffed. Movies regularly not starting on time aka previews start five mins past posted showtime. Air conditioning doesn’t work in parlor rooms. Parlor rooms have the video servers right inside and it’s loud. See the pics. Receipt shows dollar delivery charge not disclosed when ordering. I bet a lot of people don’t notice. They don’t even bring napkins or utensils. The chicken tenders didn’t come with the advertised biscuits. For 17.99 plus fee that’s a ripoff for overcooked frozen tenders. Also no prices listed. Original review: AMC just took over this theater which has left for a pretty awkward transition period. Not everything is fully operational yet. My last visit there was just one employee selling tickets, one employee at concessions and one more delivering ordered food. No one was checking tickets which is weird but whatever. Apparently AMC wants you to wait in the ticket purchase line to exchange your a list tickets if there’s no one around to scan you in. Forget about it, just walk in. You got a ticket already it’s their fault for not being staffed. Hopefully they get up to speed soon because it was kind of embarrassing. Also midway through a movie an employee came an opened the emergency exit door which blinded everyone and dude just left it open for a few minutes.

Galin McMahon

What a dump! It is amazing outside and the lobby isn't terrible but the auditorium was like the old Mall 205 theater at the end. The "rockers" were basically lay down chairs so you can either watch the ceiling or strain to sit up with no support. Most of the paint was missing from the metal railings and the carpets were faded. There was a subwoofer right above us that was blown so that sounded great. We got a small, discounted bag of stale popcorn, a drink, a measly wrap and a slice of cake...$28! Plus the lady working the counter was not at all friendly but they probably have to pay her with leftover popcorn so I understand.

Tony McCormick

Excellent theater, wide variety of options from small, intimate rooms to mega screen. Excellent beer and wine selection. Good food (if a bit spendy) served right to you in the theater in most rooms. They also have a restaurant and wine bar. Reserved seating in most rooms.

Allison Specht

AMC took over Cinetopia and they failed. They should not be able to take over the Google rating for this location as that is false advertisement because this place is nowhere near what it was before. The restaurant/bar is now closed so not sitting down and eating before your movie. Everything seems subpar now. Why take over this chain if you aren’t going to keep the same standard of services? I am disappointed and will have to find a new theater...

Kevin Kiss

This place is awful under AMC. Increased prices, worse food, instead of a normal glass of water they give you a tiny plastic cup. Speaking of plastic, all plastic silverware, plastic lids on plastic sauce containers, plastic tray lids. So much garbage and waste compared to old Cinetopia. Concession line took way too long. A lot pressure to sign up for their stupid paid rewards program to skip the line, or get more popcorn refills? Like that's supposed to be a privelege? Find another theater, AMC is the worst. It took everything good about Cinetopia and made it corporate and worse. They didn't even have the fountain running out front.

Jacob Johnson

Not a super pleasant experience. Service was poor and seats were not that comfortable.

Jason George

Used to love coming here. Unfortunately there is no more food during the weekday until 4:30pm. No more happy hour. All prices have increased and quality has decreased. Now that Regal has same quality of food, better popcorn, cheaper price, and better loyalty rewards its hard to find the value. The fact they made these changes just before what will likely be the highest grossing movie of the year seems like even poorer judgement. The $100 costco gift cards and movie ticket vouchers made the higher evening and weekend prices worth it. The gift cards have been gone for awhile and I noticed the ticket vouchers are leaving soon. I don't know how to justify the experience as often as I used to. I will try again eventually, but probably will call first to see if things have changed before wasting my time and money.

Parham

Saw a movie in the "Grand" Auditorium and was disappointed. The 8 dollar popcorn was bland and cold. The seats were, in my opinion, worse than a regular theater. They were squeaky and plastic. The speakers were flat and provided little to no immersion. The exit on the left had a light shining through and was pretty annoying. Won't be coming back.

For everyone who doesn't know, Cinetopia and AMC went to court and AMC won (look up the article it's really sad). The quality and difference now is disappointing. If you were a Cietopia fan, dont bother coming here. The food and amenities have all chanfes for the worse.

Jordan Whitney

Everything about the AMC buyout ruined this place. Everything is dirty, you can't order drinks in the theater anymore, and the chairs they chose are rediculously uncomfortable. Plus, you can expect to pay quite a bit more now. It went from being really nice to being flat out trashy, yet more expensive for some reason.

John C. Bunnell

The furniture is still Cinetopia, but AMC evidently rushed its conversion. Lights stayed up during previews, there are no price/menu signs for concessions, and the food menu gets a sign but no prices. ("They're working on it," said my ticket taker. Riiight.) Under this management, the polish is gone.

reclusive pika

It is very hard not to compare the AMC experience with Cinetopia when the building, signs and location are all screaming Cinetopia. You go in hoping you get to experience the good parts of Cinetopia only to be greeted with confusion and way overpriced food. The before movie portion was blacked out and just the audio was playing. When the movie did play it was hard to relax as the food trays are super sharp and hard to hold. The macaroni and cheese was a HUGE disappointment as Cinetopia gave some custom options and portions were reasonable for the price and flavor was amazing . AMC's macaroni and cheese as Gordan Ramsey would say "is bland, no flavor and tasted like there was no passion." The whole atmosphere could be summed up that it has no passion to serve the community.

Rawnkin

Good picture and sound, decent seats, very expensive but mediocre food. Other theaters are starting to do the premium experience as well and Cinetopia may need to up their game in order to stay ahead of the competition. Still a good place to come watch a movie.

Frank R

Sound was very low and the popcorn tasted stale. Not any large popped kernals. The former chain that owned and started it will bs sourly miased :(

TK Resendez

Sticky floors in theater. Bathrooms were messy with paper towel dispensers out of paper. Ordered Nachos that came to us cold. Overall, it was a bad experience

Kristen S.

This theater was amazing when it was new, but the management hasn't kept up on maintenance, and it shows. I heard a rumor that it is now under new management and currently closed for renovations. This is excellent news if it is true! Some of the specific things I liked about it (and hope they can be restored/continued): * Reserved seating, so you can purchase tickets online and not have to worry about getting there ridiculously early to get good seats. * A variety of theater types, including one with a huge screen, one for 21 and older, a very small one that is cozy, one with reclining seats and ottomans. * A pretty good dinner menu (pub style foods) that can be ordered and eaten in the theater. Downsides: * As previously mentioned, the facility has fallen into disrepair. * The parking is TERRIBLE. * They do have a nice restaurant and bar, but the food was not good.

Bill Lewis

The website says “Just push the service button at your seat to order” and that’s a lie—our theater literally didn’t even have buttons on any of the seats. The website also lets you select your seats online without telling you that there are huge differences between the types of seats in each row—some seats are wider couch style seats, some are very narrow chairs, and some are wider chairs, but you have no way of knowing until you get to your theater and find your seat. There are much better theater options available in the area than this one so save yourself the hassle and take your money somewhere else.

Mitch Church

It was bad when it was Cinetopia, it's even worse as AMC. Zero renovations, which were already needed before the hostile takeover. The A-List program still involvesv waiting for a single person to scan and verify your pre-purchased ticket (rush hour, anyone?). The staff can't scan your A-List QR code at the concessions stand, but they can when you check in? The worst part? The reason I won't be sticking around? They offer the absolute worst popcorn I've ever had a theater. It cools quickly, it is bland, and cooked at too high a temp. Stick to the big players who know what they're doing: Regal or Century.

Adam Rishel Sabet

We had our company holiday party in their private 50 person theater. Very comfy seats and an Italian buffet dinner! It was awesome

Kale Budgeon

My family and I frequent this movie theater. We choose it over regal/amc/standard theaters because of the seating options. We like the couch rooms if we’re all over 21, but also frequent the standard theater. It’s fairly clean, as far as movie theaters go, there are plenty of food options, although expensive, and the staff are typically kind. Often times, they won’t check that you bought a ticket, so be prepared to guide yourself to your theater room. We’ve actually grown to like that, though, as there’s limited interaction with staff, and you can simply enjoy your evening. One cool thing about this theatre is that there is art along the hallway walls that is actually quite interesting. Tip: Grab little big burger before or after you visit for dinner. They’re located right below the cinetopia. Also, park up top if you want to avoid climbing stairs. There’s usually spots.

Jennifer Dennis

Theater #14 was dirty with threadbare seats, that were also deeply stained and smelled. Dry popcorn and warm soda rounded out the visit. We will not be back.

Jeremy Graslie

I saw Hellboy (2019) at this location on Saturday Apr 13, in the Living Room Theater (Theater 11), and the experience was everything but good. The seats are incredibly uncomfortable; My back began to hurt within minutes, and no amount of adjusting was helping. The audio was also turned up so loud that it was hurting my ears and causing me a headache. When we went to raise the concern to someone about the noise level, the solution Cinetopia provided was some cheap headphones that emitted a static hum to try and "drown out" external noise. They were painful to wear and barely helped. I regret not asking for a refund. This isn't the first, or second, or even third time this location has burned me on a moviegoing experience. I like to give plenty of chances at redemption, and try my best to approach each criticism with kindness and courtesy, but this was the last straw. I cannot in good faith recommend this as a good theater, especially when there are so many better theaters for the same ticket price.

Charis Hadi

Nice theater, went to watch Joker, good sound and video quality; even had police for Joker's opening night

Carl Bachmann

Back when this theater was cinetopia you were served at your seat, the interior decor was nicer and there was more of a food selection. AMC has taken over and the art has been taken down, walls are almost bare, food selection has gone downhill and you order from the counter instead of your seat. Cinetopia was something special and it’s been taken over by a bigger theater chain that doesn’t put as much care into things. Sad story to a once-great place for date night.

Josh T

Standard movie experience as Cinetopia. However, someone needs to time the lights better, since they weren't dimmed until a minute or two into the movie. Food: Do not waste your money, especially at the prices they are charging. Outrageous! I have no problem paying the money for good food, but the food literally tastes like a microwaveable meal. Beware: if you want it delivered to your seat, there's an extra fee as well, in addition to the fee you pay for purchasing your ticket online. I may start going back to Regal, just for a basic movie experience.

Dina Walden

The food has gone down hill, chicken was rubbery and dry. And the theater seats are uncomfortable. Too bad, Cinetopia used to be great.

Serhiy Shchensnyy

They have good quality screen, but It’s dirty place

keith warner

Unsure how they are going to have ONE person working the concession line on opening day of a marvel movie..... Horribly slow and ended up not spending more money, our second time coming here and will prolly stick with Regal Theater.

Andrew Davis

We are not from around the area. Thought we would give this place a try. Wouldn't recommend. Popcorn was horrible. Crunchy and sort of sweet with barely any butter taste. We got the big tub of popcorn and the regular soda which both come with refills. Wanted to get a refill of our drink before the movie but the line was backed all the way up. Probably would have missed 15 min of the movie if I waited. They have a machine on the side maybe for refills but no one there to help you out. They also only had one person selling tickets so always a long line there. We bought online before so didn't have issues with that. I would recommend buying online if you go here. Seats were also pretty uncomfortable in the GTL theater.

Debbie Holland

If I could give zero stars, I would. AMC has ruined the Cinetopia experience. Admittedly, the theater was (and, still is) in need of a basic facelift (new seats, etc). But, when it was Cinetopia, it was a unique movie experience...we especially enjoyed the 21+ theater with food and drink service at the seat. Now, tickets and food are sold at the concession stand (using separate transactions) and delivered to your seat. The food is more expensive and the menu is much more limited. If you simply want to eat in the restaurant, you still can’t get table service. They have NO servers at all. I used to travel and fight traffic for almost an hour to get to this theater. It’s no longer worth it. I’ll go to a local basic theater and expect a typical theater experience with stale popcorn. That experience will be more enjoyable than the disappointment Cinetopia (now AMC) has become.

Francie Hammerberg

The seats in the regular theater are terrible! Very uncomfortable! Many nicer theaters for the same price

Wendy Ashton

I liked being able to pick the location of our seats. I was disappointed that the chairs weren't recliners with foot rests as I looked online to specifically have those seats for our movie.

Carissa Van Nuys

Ciera Gregg

I miss cinetopia. I feel like the quality of experience has shot down immensely. Staff wasn't friendly, and there was an overall atmosphere of apathy.

Mario Barrron

The seats are comfortable, the popcorn is perfect nice and crunchy.. never stale. Recommended buying tickets ahead of time as they do reserved seating. You can show up early order food and drinks.

Jonathan Skennerton

Good food good service great film .

Adrian Barrera

Had a great time! Friendly staff and good food!

Kyle Liddane

Cinetopia had been on the decline for the past year and a half or so. I knew something was going to happen either a buyout or complete shut down. I never expected it to happen this so. I for one am excited and very hopeful that AMC can revitalize this place. I very much enjoy going to the theater. Since MoviePass and Sinemia have both become obsolete or unusable, I couldn't wait to try A-List from AMC. And so far my girlfriend and I are loving it. The food menu is a bit smaller than what Cinetopia had but that may change when the restaurant re-opens. The burger I got was surprisingly good as well as the mac and chesse the girlfriend got. I look forward to enjoying a beer or two again while we watch. One thing I hope AMC changes are the parlor style theaters. I was never fond of these with the awkward booth seats and the individual high back reading chairs. Give us the nice recliner style with a foot rest in these theaters. And maybe the same for the smaller auditorium theaters as well. The GXL's can stay as they are. The living room theaters could use an update as well but I think the parlors have got to go. All in all, I think this should be a good change for the old kinda rundown Cinetopia. I hope AMC takes this into consideration.

She Ash

I was disappointed that the restaurant food no longer can be purchased before 5pm. I was in theater 12. All the couches were saggy in the seat slanting ro the center. Quite uncomfortable. Ungrading in the seats is greatly needed. $12 overcooked hot dog and small drink. I'd rather pay $20 for real restaurant food.

John D

AMC is killing this place. Huge fee for online tickets. Priority lines for fee-driven "club members". Employees are incredibly frustrated. Food is terrible, and drink selection is reduced to national brands.

Brian Campbell

Super sad this place was great when it was cinetopia had no coffee bar was closed early super disappointing

Earthbound Angel

I wish that I would have looked at the reviews before traveling from The Lents neighbor hood to this place wasting my gas. Over priced on everything, food wasnt that great for the price nor amount but that electric lemonade served to us at the bar was phenomenal, kudos to the bartender with the Goddess FRO! The seats were horrible it looked like a warehouse where they threw some walls up and the theater looked like someones old in home theater. Maybe I shouldve went to Vancouver instead like i had planned to do in the first place, lol ill be sure to read the reviews before i do.. In the meantime im sticking to Century 16 at eastport plaza about 2 min from home and their nice and cozy recliners. My apologies AMC/CINATOPIA your place is not where its at maybe you should give ppl a free drink or bucket of popcorn! Idk but what i do know is that "its a NO for me!"

santos trujeque

Great location Good sitting BAD SERVICE Went to this place for the first time and I totally understand that they’re remodeling and not providing snacks or drinks Kindly I asked if we could bring snacks from outside and the Manager that was there strongly refused to let us so I asked her what we could do instead Her answer was that I’ve could go to another cinema The movie already started and she never mentioned anything about reimbursement for the tickets if we decided to leave. Just for the record, I had two kids with me and they wanted popcorn as you supposed to when you’re watching a movie

Molly Holmes

Dirty and Disappointing We recently visited the new AMC Dine-In at Progress Ridge. The experience left much to be desired. Our seats were dirty and covered in greasy hand and finger prints. There was trash on the floor even though we were attending the first showtime of the day (11:45 AM). Many seats had rips and tears in the faux leather material. The food was fine, but we were charged extra for sauces and condiments and then did not receive them when our order was delivered to our seats. After chasing down the server, he returned with our sauces that were only filled halfway.

Lacee Badgley

2nd time there since AMC took over. Horrible!

Peter Hope

The movie complex provides a nice choice of seating. I chose the theater with large padded seats and an ottoman. A very comfortable experience while I enjoyed the movie.

Raven

Movie viewing experience is above average. Parking sucks on peak days and times. Developers of the mall got away with cheap parking solution, expect multilevel parking soon or mall will suffer.

Robin Dickinson

Our first clue should have been when we pulled in at 7pm on a Friday night and the parking lot was half empty. This was the first time we had been in since Cinetopia got taken over. Everyone we talked to in the long lines you now have to stand in just to get food (and another line for alcohol) agreed it would be the last time. AMC took an original and special place and turned it into just an over priced and under staffed theater. The bathrooms were deplorable with paper towels and toilet paper stacked on the counters so the customers could stock themselves. "Dine in" is a joke if you have to wait in lines so long that your movie has started before you get back to your seat.

Zach Coulter

Me and girlfriend arrived at the movie theater around 4:15 to catch a 4:40 movie. The guy at the ticket counter somehow managed to give us tickets that where for 1:30, we proceeded to get food and go to our seats 5 mins later a different couple arrived having the same seats so we went to the manager to get it sorted. She proceeded to give my girlfriend dirty looks and accusing her or lying. We they thought they could fix the problem by asking someone to move over when it clearly wasn’t his problem. Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered.

Jaki Widby

It was my first time visiting this theatre and it didn't impress me. It's an okay theatre if you are just going to see a movie without having dinner there. The auditorium I was in didnt have the nice reclining chairs you see on AMC commercials. Also, they dont have trays or tables for your food. I found it uncomfortable.

John M.C.

Good mid sized theater (still big though) if you don't want to go to the heavily congested ones around Portland area. Good concessions and very clean. They don't have a lot of theaters open but it's still pretty big so you have a good selection of movies to go to. Screen is pretty big too, even if it's not IMAX.

Jayne Byrnes

This is a fabulous movie house! The ambiance of all 14.theaters can't be beaten. Current movies are on the bill here. There is food and drink service at most of the 14 theaters and the food is terrific. The only criticism I can drum up is that it's a little pricey - but IMHO worth every cent!

Rose Nguyen

This is the first time I've been back since AMC took over cinetopia. It was not the greatest experience, the theater was very warm. The seats were very uncomfortable as they lean you forward. I am a short person to sit back and lean back, my feet don't touch the ground, so I end up being leaned forward. I don't think I will be returning to this location. This was in theater 3, I've had better experiences with other theaters.

Lisa Winters

Food and service is great.wish the menu was as large as it was when it was cinatopia. Need to finish the remodeling and take over, even though it's been 6 weeks since they changed over to AMC. Really need to update the seats..

Charli Cook

Some of the chairs and stuff are really worn down. Kinda expensive as well. But still enjoyable.

Eric Erickson

Great experience, nice tasty burger while you enjoy End Game in reserved seats. Excellent facility always great for block busters!

Kaydee Kreitlow

Seating very comfortable! Nice having food and drink options but they were pretty expensive.

bryan brown

I tried to speak to a manager but there was not one available. Arturo was awesome! He works the consessions and did a great job! Went above and beyond with the service. If I was just rating him I would give 5 stars. The food wasn't great, and chicken strips that were 3.99 for a pack at winco were $18 and super salty. The seats in theater #4 were the most uncomfortable seats I have been in. I can go to a basic cheap theater and be more comfortable. Was expecting way more for the price of food and seats. Plus the circulation of air in the theater was none existent! Everyone in the area was sweating and complaining. Sad to see the theater that was once known to be fancy still charging the most in the area but offers the least. In the future I'll be driving the extra 20 mins to go to another theater! Highly recommend passing this theater up.

Christa Lewis

Major cons here. I thought since this used to be a Cinetopia that the quality of food would be way better than it was. Do not eat any kind of meal here. It is very overpriced and tastes so bad that we couldn't even finish our meals and ended up throwing them away. The melted cheese was worse than Velveeta and the chicken was too chewy and flavorless like rubber. The service staff was rude, no thank you's or you're welcome's. We asked for a refill at the concession and were told they only do that for large drinks which cost $6.50! Will not be coming back. Cinetopia is dead.

Randy Bowden

It's really sad to see AMC take over here. It's clear that they can't provide the same level of quality previously offered by Cinetopia. I would not recommend purchasing the over priced food, mediocre food. I would plan on dinning somewhere else, but doesn't that largely defeat the purpose of coming here in the first place.

Amber Lynott

Really unique movie experience. Even the "general" theaters have extra comfortable rocking chairs and more room than you're accustomed to in a movie theater. Bar is great and staff is super friendly. Will be looking here first to see if movies are showing.

James

My wife and I were HUGE fans of Cinetopia. First visit back since AMC took over and they do not have servers in the theater so you order outside the theater. While they bring food to you, they will not deliver drinks; negative 1 and 2. 3rd negative, no kiosk to skip line to get tickets quickly if you purchased online. 4th negative, relative to Cinetopia their beer and wine menu are not even close to as deep. Like, night and day. 5th negative, the food menu is sparse relative to Cinetopia AND THEY ONLY HAD BURGERS AVAILABLE. 6th negative, they do not tell you which theater the showings are in. So if you prefer the cushy Living room or Movie Parlor, which may not exist any longer, not sure, you will have no idea if those are the theaters you will be seeing your chosen movie in. My hope is this review is responded to by AMC Management and they use this as a checklist to get my business back. Until then STUDIO ONE THEATRES is who will get my money for every movie here forward. I will come back if things improve and I am responded to with and presented with the plan for improvement. I will as well then adjust my review.

Justin Hawkins

When this was Cinetopia, I gave it 5 stars. Since becoming AMC (through a very interesting legal chain of events resulting in AMC buying out Cinetopia rather than paying them money), I cannot rate it the same, so I've changed my rating here. The flip happened WAY too fast, resulting in unprepared staff, no beer/liquor, and a less-than-seemless movie going experience. Perhaps this could be written off as growing pains, but I find myself reluctant to trust a company that would put such a poor foot forward. To me, it screams "profit over customer preference".

Brad Schmidlkofer

Nice seating. Excellent popcorn. It was not over seasoned. Going back again.

Brigette Crement

Dirty floors, seats, counters, walls. Indifferent manager.

Katie Eddy

I recently went to go see Aladdin with my mom here. I went to the theater 3 DAYS in advance so make sure my mom and I had good seats (as we are huge Disney fans). When I went to get the tickets I stood in line for 20 mins because there was only 1 person working the counter at the time which would have not been a big deal as there was only 2 people waiting. Except this kid had no idea what he was doing. He was helping someone in front of me and had to call the manager over to help him cause he kept messing it up. So that took a go 15 mins with 1 customer. Then it was my turn. I stood there for a couple mins waiting to be acknowledge and when he did he seemed like he again didn’t know what he was doing. I wanted 2 tickets for Aladdin for Sunday at noon. He gave me 2 tickets for Aladdin that same day at 4pm. I came back on Sunday to see the movie and realized the tickets were wrong and they almost didn’t let my mom and I into the movie we wanted to see. They were also very rude about it and giving me sass about the fact that I wanted to see the movie I paid for. And since they got the tickets wrong I couldn’t get the good seats that I specifically went early to get. Just over all bad service and rude attitudes.

Kari Peterson

Horrible theatre! Ripped seats, $50 bucks for 4 beers! Reasonably priced popcorn and it was yummy. They honored our Cinetopia tickets but the staff had no idea of what to do with the Cinetopia Gift Card. No one ever checked our tickets on entry and the bartenders, manager, staff very unfriendly. We have two more tickets to get rid of and then we go anywhere but AMC/Cinetopia after that. When in the Service industry ALWAYS remember that company income and paychecks are possible by satisfied customers!!

Julianne Epler

It was very horrible. I haven’t been since it switched hands And was very disappointed. They took what was a nice experience and ruined it. No service in the theatre, very little staff, long lines, expensive and mediocre food. We will not be back again. It makes me sad because it was a favorite.

Mike Goff

Arrived for our first visit since cinetopia sold to AMC to find that the bar is closed...no alcoholic drinks are sold. You can also no longer order food directly from the theater. Instead you need to order your meal through the concession counter. Definitely a poor experience compared to Cinetopia. Might as well head over to Bridgeport.

Seth Crowder

Disappointing after what Cinetopia used to be The bar selection of beers is absolutely garbage. It is completely generic now without anything other than high commercial beers and no unique selections (rogue dead guy, domestics, a single cider, couple other large name brand drafts). Same for the wine. Well it can't be that awful.... Right? If you are okay spending $9.75 a pint then perhaps this is the place for you. Delivery to the theatre? Not so much. Added charge for that, assuming that you are here on a day where they actually have the staffing for it. We didn't bother trying the food but I can't imagine it is any good based on what's happened to the quality here. This place has gone downhill fast. I would highly recommend burning through your Cinetopia free tickets as fast as possible and don't come here if you are expecting what Cinetopia used to be. AMC has turned this place into a less than mediocre theatre. Regal is now the place to go if you want a decent experience. #AMCYouLater EDIT - Oh and you can't even bring pitchers into the movie anymore....

Peter Copley

Fantastic movie theater. The lounge chairs are very comfy and ordering food from my seat was seamless and quick.

Jay Marie

If you enjoy spending +$30 for two beers and a large popcorn, this is the theater for you

April Jordan

Love the sound and the size of the gxl. The place needs seats fixed and a good cleaning. It used to be a high end place but has gone down hill since the buy out. I miss the flavored butter bar, and the amazing nachos. It used to feel special but now it feels like any other theater.

Deidra Goggin

Movie theater we were in was completely full and it was so sweaty and smelly. You walked in and could feel the heat from the previous viewing lingering. Horrible having to sit in that and watch our show. Nothing said/done by management.

Foodie Guy

Great place for movies, and love the fact that you can reserve with a group of friends. Overall, pricier than other theaters in the area, but very convenient, clean, new and lots of eateries around.

Jason Wolfgang

I hadnt been back in months, since AMC took over. Hands down the worst service ive ever had. The food was overpriced, the theater was broiling hot....and to top it off. The JANITOR had to explain they had experienced an issue and everything was running behind. After she left it was almost a full 30 minutes before one group left and two of us got out and pretty much had to track down SOMEONE to figure out when or if we would see our film. I used to love this theater, unfortunately you guys have a LOT to make up for.

Margie Humphrey

I have gone to cinetopia for years and enjoyed it. The service great, menu awesome and theater decently nice. Recently went to an AMC in Southern California with reclining seats, dine in service, very nice menu. At the AMC in California you went straight to your seat and there was a menu waiting for you. You ordered your food off menu and I asked if I could get popcorn - no problem them deliver to your seat. And kindly the waiter tells me if I want a soda refill to just push the button at my seat and he will come for that too. SO five of us decide to go to cientopia progress ridge (now AMC). I read the recent reviews and hoped that it was simply some transitional pains. But no I got there and it wa just as the previous reviewers said. Two guys running concession. We arrived and got in line 15 mins before movies start but it took so long to order that I missed all previews and first five minutes of the show. Then I asked if they would bring my food to the seats. He wanted to check theater and yes confirmed yes. But upon ordering food by myself alone for 5 people I learned it was only my one salad and fries that would be delivered. I had to carry 5 drinks, 2 large popcorns, and 2 nachos to my seat as those items were not covered the dine in service. I looked back at the line behind me and felt sad for the folks back there who were probably missing their movie as with two folks at concession stand on a holiday weekend (July 5) the line was not moving. For 5 this movie cost a fortunate and I wished I had just gone to regal instead. No plans to go back. Sadly it was not at all like the California AMC and sadly it was also not as good as previous cinetopia even.

Allen Barber

What an awesome theater! We saw our film in the theater that doesn't have "table" service, but the screen was HUGE and the sound was excellent. What a fun time!

Ryan Mann

This is my first time going since they changed ownership from cinetopia and let me tell you, don't waste your money. I sat for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my order and no one came. I went to the concession stand and asked if a server was coming in and they told me they don't do that any more. So I ordered a mediocre over priced burger. If you want a beer or cocktail, now you have to go into the bar and wait in another line to get that. Don't forget your ID by the way. The bartender said she has to card everyone even if they are senior citizens. When the movie finally started, the sound was deafening. Now I am used to the theater experience (I usually see a couple movies a month), but this was so loud, I almost got up after 5 minutes and asked for a refund. If you have sensitive hearing, I highly recommend bringing ear plugs or even better, go to another theater

Heidi Hasselman

In serious need of an update, especially for the prices. I was very taken aback by the quality and the hoops you had to jump through to order food at a "dine in" theatre. Won't be going back.

Trevor Farrell

I still like Cinetopia, but some of the renovated Regal (and other) theaters now provide a comparable experience. It's still good, but it's not all that special anymore.

Amy Fleck

Specifically bought tickets for a 21+ theater to avoid noisy kids and the constant coming and going that families with kids tend to do during movies. Totally fine that they do that, kids gotta go/babies cry, but since I dislike it, I bought tix for a 21+ showing and paid a premium for doing so. There were kids in the theater, however. I double checked the website after the movie, and it still said 21+. In the past I would have given a 4 or 5 star review, but this theater has gone downhill and just isn't the premium movie going experience like it used to be. The hallways seem to be used for storage, the concessions are now lackluster, and the seating is looking real tore up. I'll try again in a few months to see if it's back to normal.
