REVIEWS OF AMC CLASSIC Mill Plain 8 IN Oregon

Rich Winter

Nice place for a movie. They have a restaurant and bar, and let you take a drink into the theater.

Cristino Cabrera

Good place for your family to watch movies

Custom Comic Shop

Always making movie watching that much better! Most comfortable seats and great service

Devon Johnson

You get what you pay for here: a greatly priced movie ticket in exchange for mediocre sound quality and a building with an odd smell. That said, if you want to see a movie for cheap, this is the place!

Amber Robbins

Pretty run down. Feels like a $3 theater... not a high quality one. So sad, because it used to be amazing!

Lincoln Israel

Good seats. Great place to go on a hot day.

Jennifer Arndt

Waited 30 minutes to see anything other than a black screen. No previews. Nothing. We decided on a refund rather than waiting another 30 mins for the manager to fix it. Staff was nice. I'm sure people are going to tear those poor guys up later. AMC is dropping the ball. Cinetopia was a million x better and we miss it so much.

Kelly Edwards

Great place to watch movies

RACHEL GIBSON

Service is decent, but the overall feel of the theater has been steadily declining. They finally re-did all of the seating with new covers and stuffing, but one popcorn machine always seems to be down. And the price for concessions is crazy!

B Carnage

A nice theater, but the lobby is kind of dumpy and they were out of a lot of things. It was nicer before. I hope AMC gets it back to a higher standard.

Erick Hendricks

It's like a ghost town here now. Coming up to the doors I thought the place was closed down again. The girl at the counter was nice, but they don't even butter your popcorn anymore so there is no actual service other then a transaction... Sad that Cinetopia is gone.

Grace Garfield

One of the top movie experiences. The chairs are so comfortable and way more adjustable than the average theater. It might of been not a busy day but there were only several people in our movie. The screen and sound were wonderful.

Nancy Kozuch Mull

So, I'm sitting in this theater right now and sincerely regretting my decision to come here. It is run down, depressing, and dark. There is no lobby, just a small open area with some wooden chairs. Extremely limited snack offerings and WAY overpriced, even by theater standards. Sound in the theater is a bit too loud, chairs are rickety recliners with footstools. Not the fun theater experience I was looking for. I'm not from this area, so I don't know how it was as a Cinetopia, but today it's just sad and underperforming.

Jesús Murrieta

Movies look and sound great, but the place is getting run down.

Tina S

Its a movie theater go watch a movie, buy the over price popcorn and enjoy.

Nicky Munoz

Very comfortable seats very nice movie watching experience just with the lines to the concession wasnt so long

Isaiah Huntington

This is the least fancy of the Cinetopia locations, especially compared to the one at the Vancouver Mall. There is a great deal which is every Tuesday you can go to any movie at any time for $5. It's called tightwad Tuesday. I would not pay more than $10 for a movie here because the screens are a lot smaller than at the mall and the overall experience isn't as high of quality. But since this is the only Cinetopia location that offers $5 Tuesday movies, I recommend it for that reason.

Beth Raynor

Alright, this is a review of Cinetopia Mill Plain. I went there tonight with my father to see Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom as a late father's day present. Dinner and a movie, at a really great theatre. The food was good, had a little problem, but it was easily solved. When it came time for the movie, there was a man, who started to use his cell phone. I asked him kindly to not use it, and he cursed me out. Not pleasant. He continued to use it through the movie and I wasn't able to enjoy said movie. Rather than complain during the movie, and disturbing the other guests, I waited until afterwards, and management was very kind. They had trouble with this guest before, and it turns out he had snuck in. A talk to the manager, and I had my tickets refunded. I'll go to a movie here again, it's a good theater, and with a 21 and over section, and great food.

Terrance Williams

I like this one better then the mall

Ronnie Lewis

A usually quiet place to catch a flick

Shawn Spears

Sad that AMC purchased Cinetopia. The entire experience is different

Robert Clybourn

Still just as good as cinetopia.

Alex Vargas

It is a theater with all the great movies and freshest foods. Stop by if u want a great meal and an awesome experience.

Robin Edwards

I will not return to AMC since it took over cinetopia. It is so ghetto now. The seat was broken, bathrooms filthy and they do not honor caretaker tickets. The slurpee machine was broken as well as three of the soda choices. The sound was so loud I left with a headache. I loved the cinetopia experience in the past. It is no longer the enjoyable experience it once was.

Doug Weeks

Always enjoy a movie. Cinetopia prices on Mill Plain have dropped to match Costco ticket prices. Their food is pretty decent. I've never had a bad experience here and visit often. The mall location is fine, just very expensive ticket prices.

Brendan Wrobel

This was a great comfortable place to sit down and watch a flick. They also have a restaurant if you need adult beverages or food. Price was reasonable also.

Chris Bullock

Had an issue with some tickets I was given, and Steven the manager was super helpful. I highly recommend this theater, and really hope they get the restaurant back up and running asap, it really adds to the enjoyment of the facility. Thanks again Steven!

Donald Heidtman

I used to love going to this theater. Now the past two times I've been there the seats were falling apart and as of 5-17-2019 they are no longer serving alcohol or restaurant style food.

Kara Edmunds

Always enjoy date nights at cinetopia! I'm so happy someone told me about this place. Having the choice to do 21+ is also nice. We try to do date night here once a month! Lots of great movies coming out so I'm sure we will he back again soon.

E. H.

Nice people here. The seats here are not good for seniors. The seat are to hard to get out of because they recline back when you don't want them too.

Kamila Miller

We've been seeing movies at Cinetopia for years. It's my favorite theater! Great seats, great service, and when you want a grown up night out, they have 21 and over showings available. Plenty of family-friendly showings too! Highly recommend it.

ML

Cinetopia not only has the best prices for movie tickets but it's staff are friendly. Theatre is clean. I also like the fact ea theatre is small. And for the first time time since I can remember it wasn't freezing cold. Great job cinetopia.

Jeremy Nugent

Relaxing and great seat and dozed off briefly.

Bomby

I like the place because the people there are nice and it has a good waiting area (Can be seen in image)

SwarthyElf18628 Thompson

Not bad, needs more salted popcorn

Kristine Todd

Great food in Vinetopia and the living room theater is comfortable and has a great view of any movie.

Sirene Raven

Good movie, that's all. Nothing about this theater was worth going back for.

Garrett Kasper

Went to go see Once upon a time in hollywood. There where only 2 workers behind the counter handling tickets and snacks. I made sure I arrived to my movie 15 minutes ahead of time. I was stuck in that line for 53 minutes to get my tickets scanned that I had already purchased 2 days ago off fandago. Needless to say I exchanged my tickets on fandago to go see the movie at the theater down the road.

Tara Moore

I love coming here to watch movies! I got confused with the name change but still the same great place!

Kourtney F

AMC bought it out and didn’t make sure they had a liquor license ready beforehand. I normally pay the obscene prices for their tickets because they provide such an awesome experience. Paying 6.50 for a soda from the concessions, instead of seatside service for real food and drink, is not worth it. Very disappointed in my experience today.

John Prichard

It's kinda of a joke now that its AMC everything u went to get at cinatopia is gone and they dont even butter the popcorn I make better at home the cashier was crazy slow took forever just to get up to the counter

Bryan White

I like this Cinetopia. I want to love it. Unfortunately, the seats just aren't that comfortable. Once they rock back, your head is positioned to either be looking at the ceiling or down your cheeks at the screen in the Living Room Theaters and Grand Auditoriums. The Parlors are a unique experience, but a lot of the seating is run down in them. With a few upgrades, Cinetopia would be out-of-this-world amazing, and I would love to change my rating to five stars. The wine selections are pretty good, the food is quite toothsome. So PLEASE, Cinetopia. Make me give you five stars. I know you can do it!

Ryan Kennedy

In and out easy as pie. Its the movies without the headaches of lines and no parking. Great service

Tj Nardone

Friday night, 1 person working. He was ticket booth and concessions. He really was lost as to what to do.

Melissa Edwards

Comfortable reclining chairs with foot stools. Not crowded at all and every seat is a good seat!

Andy M.

It's always a good movie theater to go to. Lots of drink selection good food decent prices. It's newly been renovated inside so it is like it was when they first opened it up 10 years ago. Highly suggested if you have not been there in a long time to try it again.

John Hall

I used to love this place. But its getting tired now with ripped seats and dirty carpet. This however has not affected ticket prices which are still at a premium. If it wasn't for people spoiling movies (in person and internet based) then I wouldn't bother with the cinema now as its cheaper to just buy the film and watch it in way better 4k picture and better sound at home.

Bill Hensman

Very old theater but smelled so good

Melody Renfro

Since the AMC takeover, the already sad, outdated theater has gone into severe further neglect. They've diminished the counter items back down to (very cheap) popcorn, soda, chocolate milk, water, tea, and candy. So, no more coffee or exotic drinks, and less snacks, but more candy. They've gotten rid of the restaurant and bar, which once had amazing (if albeit expensive) burgers and fries, and gluten-free options, before. So, now it just sits empty and pointless. AMC has had it for a month, and surprisingly, for as big a company they are, they've made ZERO improvements to the facility beyond a few good movie posters and cutouts. Nothing functional or aesthetic has been fixed, and both are necessary. The seats are squeaky and caked with the filth of a thousand butts before you. The bathrooms function poorly and have reached that point of needing to be replaced, for being beyond cleaning. The place is drab and dark, and institutional, and needs a complete overhaul. The employees are all pleasant and helpful, but you could tell they seemed a bit embarrassed and lost regarding the affect the switch has had. They're the saving grace of why I generously gave it a two, instead of a one, like the place, itself, deserves. Hopefully, we'll see some much-needed changes to come, but I can't recommend this place, at the moment. Until we hear word that they've begun to improve, I plan to steer clear of it, and so should you.

Jake Robeck

This place spoiled avengers endgame for me when they told me to walk into the theater during the death of scarlett Johansson. Should of been hawk eye but ok marvel

Jeremy Adesso

Always a good experience. People were nice especially considering it was a huge new release day.

Stretch 315

It's a nice theater parking is a little small but still a good theater.

Chris Johnson

Not impressed at all with AMC theaters. My wife and I will not be frequenting your establishment until it is significantly updated. I feel that with the whole buyout of Cinetopia your company moved way to quickly in opening back up as an AMC theater. I loved the ticket price of $8.99 but the theater and experience was less than desirable. The concessions tasted bad and seemed old. And the seats and the rails by the handicap accessible seats were in disrepair. The women's bathroom was not fully functional, only sink worked and only one stall. Several other movie goers in our showing also were not pleased with the experience as well. We love the close proximity to where we live but until something changes we sadly will not be returning.

Abby Bradshaw

It was nice seating and some of the food was good but others not so much.

Christopher Winter

Great time. Popcorn on the flower as you enter the living room theater. Observed that the staff does not have enough room to walk past to deliver food or drinks. Foot stools could be thinner. You still have to pull your feet in tight for there productivity of food handling.

Richard Beeching

Watched a movie with a very beautiful woman. Great time with lost of action.

Dan Carpenter

I purchased tickets to take my son to see the new Avengers movie and went in two hours early to eat, have a beverage or two and enjoy the atmosphere, what I got was the worst movie service of my life. We walked into the theater, printed our tickets and walked into the restaurant. There was no one to wait on us and so we walked around to the counter to get someone’s attention and a lady walked out, cleaned off a table and said abruptly and rudely, “he isn’t allows in here”. I looked at her and asked what the food and beverage policy was for the theaters and she asked “do you want seated in the dining room or not?”. I looked at my son, insulted, he looked at me wide eyed and said, “dad I’m good”. So we walked out and I told her no thank you. My son excused himself to the restroom and I walked back up to the counter and wanted to ask my question about food because it was obvious we weren’t going to be comfortable eating in the dining room with the lack of people skills she showed us in the first confrontation. Two people were behind the counter, socializing with someone that wasn’t working, but was obviously a friend of theirs. They did this for about 5-10 minutes and one of them finally looked at me and asked “can I help you?”. Not the kind of “can I help you” respectful but the “can I help you” your annoying tone. I said “I am just trying to figure out with a three hour movie and the restaurant what the rule was for the theater. She looked at me and asked what theater I was in, still not answering my question. I said theater 6 and she said, your son can’t go in there, the movie is a 6:30 pm movie and the theater turns into a bar at 6:30. I asked how I was supposed to know that and she said she didn’t know. She guided me over to the concessions side and offered me main theater tickets IN THE FRONT ROW. I said there was no way my son would be OK with that and that we paid for tickets to a theater not knowing the theater turned into a bar after 6:30 for a 6:30 show. She said, “well its the law”. I asked, “is it the law or your theaters rules” and she corrected herself and said that it was her theaters rules. I looked at her dumbfounded and said “I just moved here, there is no way for me to know that and now you are telling me that I can’t watch the movie with my son?”, she said “you can in the front row”, I said, “I paid for recliner seats”. She yelled over to someone helping a growing line “where are the tickets?” And walked away from me without saying anything. She came back, put two Cinetopia tickets on the counter and said, “these are good at any Cinetopia”. I asked, “so these are good at the mall then? Because I will never come back here again”. We walked out and I was angry because of how we were treated. From the moment we walked into this place, the staff, and this lady in particular was uncaring, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I will not write her name here, but if management reads reviews they can ask and I will share further, but given the lack of caring and unprofessionalism from the people I dealt with I doubt anyone from this place will care how we were treated. I meant what I said to the lady working that evening, I will never go back there again. I will drive over to Portland and find another theater.

Cody Philpot

Love me some Cinetopia. Love going. Seating and choices are great. Prices are ..... To be determined.

Adam Templeman

This use to be relatively nice especially because you could order a dinner and they would serve you in the theater but cinetopia got bought out and they closed the restaurant. We came in expecting to be able to eat dinner so we ended up missing 30 minutes of the movie because we had to go grab something to eat. It was empty on a friday night which it never was before.

Shelbi Langston

I kove this theater it is amazing the movie i suggest is Aladdin

Toini Denisova

Was watching Addams family here and loved it.

Mike Shank

We went to see EndGame on opening night and 45 minutes into the film, the emergency alarms were activated and all cinemas emptied. We were unable to go back and finish the film and went home disappointed. But after contacting the GM Regina, everything was good to go. She sincerely apologized and offered to get us readmitted at our convenience. She even reserved our seats for us. Cinetopia 8 knows the ins and outs of customer care and we feel good spending our money at their establishment.

Holly Hobson

I have been enjoying Cinetopia since the day it first opened on Mill plain. I don't enjoy movies as often as I used to so when I go to a theater it really is a special thing. Today I was quite taken aback by what I found inside. The entire place had a smell of bathroom deodorizer. And speaking of the bathroom I was shocked by the sticky dirty mess that greeted me in the one at the end of the living room hallway. I always viewed Cinetopia as upscale, a treat of a theater that stands calmly above the rest. Therefore I'm a bit dismayed to report this review. I will try them again and hope for the best.

JohnnyV

Great for movies, staff friendly, but the food was very bad this time around. Fish was very dry, and the risotto it was on top of tasted like the saltiest rice-a-roni I've ever had. Best part of the meal was the broccoli, but even that was cold around the edges. Normally we have a great time and great food, but something was wrong in the kitchen.

thomas gee

All I can say is Boooooooooooo, AMC bought this place and ruined it. Used to be one of our favorite places in Vancouver. They butchered the experience and we won’t be back!

Andrew Carlson

Great place to see a movie only place I go

Sara Rowan

The movie was good. However every single chair in our row in the living room was broke...either pushing you way back...forward...or tilted toward the next chair. It was terrible! The popcorn is typically pretty good...but it looked so bad my husband asked the cashier how old it was...and we were told "oh its fresh...of course" Not! They don't have an issue charging full price for our seats...so the least they can do is keep them in good shape. Like many families there we dropped an easy 60 bucks for tickets and snacks for 4. We have been Cinetopia regulars for a long time as many in our row. However....not anymore...going back to regal! #dontwasteurmoney #getittogether #customersatisfactionfail

Damaris ku Bauzo

Awesome staff, even when short staffed. Love them.

Karen Thomas

Good place for a movie. Tuesday is discount day, all day!

Stephanie Duling

I love the big chairs and foot rests. I also enjoy being able to order food to eat while watching the movie. Everytime I go to a Cinetopia they're so clean and staff is friendly.

Jennifer Fitzgerald

Food is WAY overpriced! Good prices on movies though

Barbara Gallegos

I went to the 11:00p.m. Showing and someone brought their toddler with them who ended up crying through the whole movie and the parents decided to play a movie on their tablet to try and calm their crying toddler that should've been home safe in bed instead of dragged to the theater at such a late hour. Not to mention, I ordered the pretzel at cinetopia because I really like their cheese fondue but no one bothered to tell me they were out of it. I would not have spent the $10.00 for it had I known. And when I went to complain to management after the movie they said they couldn't help me because I stayed through the whole movie. I told them that I had hoped the toddler would stop crying and that it was a belated birthday gift for me so I stayed hoping that I wouldn't miss any more than I already had. At least at regal theaters they try and offer something to compensate for the horrible experience! I had to call coorporate the next day just to get some kind of reimbursement. It was one of the worst experiences I've had at a movie theater in my life. And I go to the movies a lot!!! Normally, I really enjoy watching movies here but this last visit was very disappointing to say the least. I also found it interesting that it was the first time no employee checked the theater during the movie!

Barbara Bolich

Went to see movie on the 25th of December. Thankful we had winter coats and scarves on. It was FREEZING. Might try in summer....popcorn not as tasty as most theaters, could not decide why, but we did not finish it. Seats comfy enough, but nothing to warrant a return. You choose your seat when buying your tix.

James Pilcher

Cool and comfortable could be a little more in focus

David Loftin

Feels pretty rundown from the outside, ie broken light fixtures. Inside was standard movie concession foods. Restaurant/bar portion seemed unused since AMC took over, storing some supplies partially in the area that you can see. I had never been to Cinetopia when they owned the property, but I had high hopes for the theater. The seats were nice and comfy, yet felt old some how. Staff was very nice, though the AMC branding and cardboard displays seemed out of place. I might be a bit too critical, but I went past 6 other theaters nearby my place, hoping to get an awesome experience, but it was just meh.

Alexander Hamilton

Terrible. Just terrible. Went on the website, saw a movie for 9:00 PM. Went there at 8:40, we were told that there was no movie. Went home disappointed.

Susan Entwistle

Seats are super comfy and prices are great in Tuesdays!

Shrimp C

Normally i love this place but this time the seats i got were old breaking and squeaky. Be nice to replace brokenbseats and armrest from time to time.

David Camp

Cinetopia was...I repeat, WAS, our favorite theater. But now that AMC has aquired Cinetopia, there doors are closed...no movies are scheduled at ANY Cinetopia. That's a lot of people out of work, losses of (I suspect) millions per day. Not very happy with AMC right now. I suppose our movie dollars will be spent in another brand name movie theater chain.

Joseph Mayeaux

As always it was a pleasure to see a movie here. Good concessions not to badly priced for everything.

Brook Shirley

Needs some work done to update the place, I even fixed thier hand towel dispensers in the bathroom... Lol

Cheri Way

We had a great time at this movie. The seats were so comfortable places to put your feet up and just relax. You can order food and alcohol if you're in one of the adult-only sections. I can't wait to go back.

Gayle Agelink

Love Cinnetopia especially Tuesday’s such a great experience to watch a movie without breaking the bank....

Df Roush

The original concept of food, drink, and comfortable seating was excellent! Comfort seating has given way to the airline style cram them in style! Service ranged from excellent to average!

Jon Gusey

AMC needs to renovate this theatre sinks not working in bathrooms, lots of broken seats, areas smell

Bryce Knittle

Place seems super run down. Half of the fountain drinks were “out of order”. Place was super nice as Cinetopia but AMC CLASSIC seems really low budget. Feels like a second run discount theater now. Used to be one of the best in town.

Azkikr D

To small. Not as good as the other cinatopias. Wasn't a bad experience just not as good as I have had in the past.

sandra blair

Movie was fantastic. Seating wasn't too bad. I was really disappointed with my food. They didnt come take our order until right before the movie was going to start so I ended up eating in the dark. I had the French dip with a salad, besides being really small, it tasted weird. I wouldn't order it again. Was cool to have a beer at the movies. My cousin did tell me it is usually better, I was just visiting. It was my first time there.

joe nellor

Pop corn all over the floor and if you needed anything from the snack bar better take out a mortgage on the house or something

Daniel Wachtel

Their tickets are well priced. Tuesday they are only $6 for the main area and $9 for the living room. They have new carpet, but you can tell they are due for a remodel. The staff was super friendly, and greeted me as i walked through the door. I really enjoy the 21+ feature. That means that after 4pm i can sit in the living room with only adults and enjoy my movie. I am looking forward to Deadpool 2.

Rick Gehlhaar

It's a nice place to watch a movie, but the restaurant food is better at Applebees, and I'm not an Applebees fan. It's too bad because the atmosphere in the restaurant is fairly nice; the food is just not good. Steak was like warm, tuff and zero flavor. We won't be going back, to the restaurant anyway.

amanda burden

I really loved the movie but this theater has unusually comfortable seats!!

Denise Becker

This place is just horrible! Over priced popcorn that is mostly kernels. Sound quality in the theater was terrible. I could hear the movie in the next theater better than ours. Complained to the staff several times but nobody did anything about it. Broken chairs in the theater covered in plastic. No hot water in the bathrooms and they were filthy. Hair everywhere. AMC needs to shut this place down or burn it. We wont be back.

Taylor Family

Easiest place to sneak outside food and drink into

Arrowgwen C

The new amc theater in the vancouver mall, they open at 1230. Tickets for new movies cost around 12 bucks per person. For a large icee(thats the only size they have) and one box of cookie dough bites it was about the same price as the ticket. Theater 10 has a cozy feel to it. The only down side is that amc did not reupholster any of the seats. The cushions are broken down, there was popcorn spilled all over the place. And what looked to be soda spilled on the foot rest as well. I do like the ceiling though. Its made to look like the night sky. Id have givin a higher rating if the first showing of the day in theater 10 had at least been clean.

Satchel Hamilton

Fun viewing experience, but not being able to order food since they were acquired by AMC was a bit of a bummer. They didn’t even have hotdogs at the concession stand.

TheNorthwestHawk

Saw Ad Astra last night, good movie but it smells like a homeless person died in the reserved seating section. Body odor and uren smell was overpowering.

PNW Phantom

3 adult tickets ,1 large "bag" of popcorn and 1 small bag of popcorn ,1 large drink and 1 medium drink $64.00 ? The seats are broke down, service was poor , WON'T BE BACK !!!!!!

Michelle Combelic

Sound quality was horrible, way to loud. Theater was clean. Quick service. Concession quality could improve.

Vernon L. Black

Great food, caring staff, great movies and theaters.

Jeff Carmichael

It is sad that such a great cinema has fallen on hard times. The screen and audio are still great, but the seats and service definitely show an absence of leadership and investment.

Desmond Clarke

If you go at the right time, it is cheaper than the other theaters

Eduardo Pena

Speakers are loud and I watched pennywise made it so cool

Lisa Kinley

Great movie theater!!! Always nice and friendly. Love that you can eat an amazing meal here in the restaurant area or while you're watching the movie!!!!!

JEFF COWLEY

Great. Cheaper than regal cinemas. Tried there blackened salmon burger it was great.

Jason Evert

Very disappointed nothing special here anymore. saw John Wick 3 today and it felt like going to any other regular theater I feel bad for the workers there now. No more tips from the people in the living room sections very basic theater now. R.I.P cinetopia. bad decision to change something so good.

Benjamin Culley

Ordered a drink at the bar. Took a few sips and pulled a small hairball... not a hair... a small hairball, like what a hairy dude pulls out of his belly button, out of my mouth. I placed it on my napkin, and showed the bartender, Nate, when he came around. No apology at all, he just chuckled and said he didn't know what it was, took the drink, and began making drinks for others at the bar. He came back around and asked it I would like another, and I declined. He brought me one anyway, and said it was on him. I started to sip the new drink, and he brought me a bill for it. I asked him if he was really going to charge me for it, and acted like I was being totally unreasonable. Terrible service, and apparently terrible cleanliness. Still no apology.

Peter Kharitonenko

Cinatopia great luxury movie theater!

Katie K

This place is run down. Seats not in great condition. The bench you put your feet on was missing a leg amd wobbled. You can tell no investment in keeping the place up to date. The restaurant and in theater service was stopped as of today.

Paul Ellis

I went to see Rocket man. The trailers for the movie started late and when the movie started it was John Wicks. I told the staff and they tried to fix it. We were in this theater for 1&1/2 hours. Never got to see the movie and was only offered free passes. That's 1&1/2 hours of my life gone on one of my few free nights. No compensation or offers to sweeten the deal. Just passes so I could come back to the same theater. Cheap move, management. You have lost 2 customers and I'M going to "sweeten" the deal by telling everyone I know how this theater does business.

Avi Bharth

Miss when it was Cinetopia. AMC removed all the dining and food, which also eliminates jobs for people in the area. It just feels very cold and corporate now opposed to being a friendly small theater company.

Michelle Rau

Surprisingly upscale vibe in a restaurant attached to a movie theater. Extensive nice wine list, a cozy seating area with fireplace. Would really like to try the patio some day.

Frank Aff

Exceptional place to relax and comfortably enjoy dinner, a beverage and a movie. The living room experience provides larger leather chairs and ottomans to put your feet up. The stadium seating spacing is better than usual to provide a more individualized experience with the screen. If you arrive early one of the friendly servers will take food (popcorn, meals, etc,) and beverage orders and serve them to you prior to the show. Many shows in the living room during the evening are for adults (21+).

Auntie M O

Fire alarm, lots of missing drinks and food. A tough transition from the Cinetopia...

Amy Lovelace

Love Cinatopia. Staff was great. Theater is showing its age with wear and tear that's not being kept up with.

christine Mox

This cinetopia is a bit older, but still nice. Everyone was really nice and the tower of chocolate tower was really AWESOME!! BUT ITS A MUST SHARE!! (also should get an extra scoop of icecream cause it needs it)

Marla MaeBee

3 because the seats are effed up. We sat in the livingroom top and when you sit down, they recline to a point that you are eye level with the balcony wall. We moved down a row, and it was better, but still have to position your self with the ottoman just right to not overly recline. In addition i ALWAYS bring a jacket with me because when the movie starts the AC generally kicks on in most theaters, this one was a little to warm all the way through. But the popcorn was good and the movie was hilarious.

Tom Burley

Citopias are very nice, Mill Plain is best of them all.

Taylor Smith

$5 tuesdays are well worth it! Love the restaurant -- a truly unique experience in a prime location.

Joey Barela

Watched How to train your dragon 3 here, surprisingly clean and cheap! Will come again.

Ben Moore

Good stuff!

kkjsmom

Well i liked it til AMC took over.

Wesley Edge

This place has the best prices in town! It's definitely a value!

This place was better when it was Cinetopia. We saw the Joker on opening night, and the first 10min were muted. Several trips to the front desk were required for anyone to fix the issue, and even then the sound was restored late into the beginning, and no attempt was made to rewind for the audience. The whole building has gone downhill since changing owners. Very sad.

I couldn't get comfortable because the seats are really dirty as well as the floors and surrounding areas. Yes, food is pricey, but that's to be expected for a movie theater. The popcorn was lacking, and I'm not sure exactly what it was lacking. Not my favorite movie theater. It's location is convenient, but otherwise would make a trip elsewhere to watch a movie. Oh, and you get to choose or reserve your seat when buying your tickets which I found to be interesting.

I'm a little lukewarm on AMC having bought out cinetopia as it as, since everything I read makes it sound like a pretty hostile action, but as of yet they have not opened the restaurant, or the bar, or continue table service or 21+ movies. At this rate, it us very much a downgrade from the old cinetopia experience. You're still paying the same, but not getting much value for the money. The gentleman who helped us at the counter, Nathan, did his best and offered good service, but his hands were very much bound by the extreme limits of that service that AMC allows. Pale shadow of what coming here used to be.

The theater was great. But to kids were running WILD. dad was NOT WATCHING THEM.

Enjoy this theater more then the mall, but I went a few days ago and they sold me a seat that was NOT even there. I told the manager about it, he just grabbed a random seat from the hallway it was extremely uncomfortable and it smelled so bad! I was not satisfied but did not get my money back.

Went in and asked for a ticket to a movie about an hour ago. I was told that the Movie i wanted to see, "Spider Man: Into the Spider Verse" was not playing there tonight. It is playing there. There's an 8:00 show, and I was literally lied to so the staff didn't have to work. I guess it's my fault for interrupting the staff's gab session. How dare a customer interfere with their conversation to buy a ticket, right? I was the only person in that Theater, other than staff. Clearly, no one comes to this location any more, even on Opening Nights... And I can see why. The customer service isn't just bad, it's non-existent. 0/5 Stars. Really disappointed.

Great big leather seats and ottoman to put up your feet at the living room theatre. The other theatres are spacious too. The best thing is it's in a great location, low traffic, big parking lot and not all busy. The food menu is a no for me, not my kind of food and prices but others like the pretty wine bar.

Great food (I love the Mac and Cheese), comfortable seating and nice theaters.

Movie was great, love the seats and being served :-) But know that they automatically add tip to the total so watch out for double tipping.

The Messy Keto Kitchen

The ticket prices are really cheap, which is great. However, it's not very clean or well- maintained, and the clientele seems to have no manners.

I had never been to a Cinetopia movie theater before, but I was expecting the best based off what I'd heard. This particular theater was nice, but slightly outdated. The chairs were very squeaky and the screen wasn't very large. They did have a great selection of concession items though, which was nice
