I’m rating Center Theatre a bit differently than I would rate most other movie theatres. First, it gets an automatic 3 stars, just for using the OG spelling of “theatre,” instead of that pointless rearrangement of the last to letters (“theatre” became “theater”) by that crackpot Noah Webster.....yeah, the dictionary dude, THAT Noah Webster........what a jerk. So, Center Theatre (HA! TAKE THAT NOAH WEBSTER....OR SHOULD I SAY “WEBSTRE? NOT SO FUNNY NOW,IS IT WEBSTER?)......ahem. ...OK, so the movie theatre in question is in a small town, so it’s a small theatre. Now, I can’t prove it, but I’m 99 percent certain that the two screens (yes, 2... not a typo) are actually large iPad tablets. But, seriously, it’s a good theatre. And, yes, I’m going to continue spelling it the original way, from now on. I’M RECLAIMING THETRE!). It’s clean, they have pretty much same concession foods all theatres offer, the employees have always been courteous, and they even have a small game room. Towns the size of Vinita, OK don’t typically offer much in the way of entertainment. So, having a movie theatre, of ANY SIZE, is pretty cool. And having one that is clean, has good concessions, nice employees, and manages to show every movie (that I’ve ever wanted to see, anyway), well, they deserve 5 stars.

Theatre was so hot and humid and smelled like mold. First movie of night and food in floor and on chairs. Been several times and not been like this. Hopefully, management will correct this soon.

Small but a great atmosphere for family. Movies are still immersive. Only issue was the screen wasnt pulled all the way down until half of the previews were over so it looked like they were cut in half.

It was cool to see such an old theater. Definitely an old place. The death song classical music played during commercials was kinda weird but it was laughable. I'd go again. Places like that are dying off so it was nice to see one operating.
