Always a great time for me & the kids only theater we go to some of my best memories of my childhood was at the drive-in we had a few to choose from then its great that i still have the chance to make the same memories with my children thanks for keeping it alive

Very nice. Only complaint is missed ten mins at end of movie. Staff was jumping batteries and my car got strong headlights from jumper. Maybe have rule were you “jump” cars after movie... or turn off bright lights while jumping cars.

Drive ins are cool. Unfortunately the location is in a bad part of town. Police sirens occured 2 times for extended periods in the middle of he movie. There were also gunshots nearby. People in generl arrive late and hunt for spots for the first 15 to 20 mins of the movie.

It’s a very clean place the speakers work well and the screen is nice! I only got a pretzel from the concession stand but it was really good! I enjoyed the whole experience. I’ll definitely be back

$9.50 for adults is pretty stiff and snacks were cheap munchy food. FM transmitters sound was crisp and the lot was clean.

Just a month ago was the first time my children ever been to the drive-in movie and they absolutely loved it it's a great price for children and adults and it's cheaper than the movies and it's a great experience I want to take my family all the time and I absolutely love the flea market are Wednesdays and Saturdays.

This is one of the only drive-in movie theaters still in existence, so I HIGHLY recommend coming here. Also, this place needs all the business that it can get, so please do not sneak anyone in or bring in outside food and only buy food that's sold here. Also, you can donate $1 with each ticket purchase, so I highly recommend doing it, because I love this place so much and I just don't want to see it go under. Also, before you go, check the weather so that it's not too windy or rainy when you visit. I've been to this drive-in movie theater several times with bad weather and trust me, you DON'T want it to ruin your experience.

My kids love the drive-in here, and I hope it stays open for their kids and their grandchildren to enjoy under the stars. I remember my grandma bringing us here when I was little, so many great memories. It is safe, I saw people walking around and a police officer sitting by the concession stand tonight. Keep in mind, people still come in and park halfway through the first movie so keep your kids close. Keep them out of the isles and safe next to your car or inside your car. There were several children running about through the whole first movie in our isle which was distracting and very loud. But I guess you'll have that sometimes

We took our family here over Labor day weekend and had a grrrreat time! The popcorn was awesome and you get to put the salt and butter on yourself.. you even get a free refill if you get a large! They have some regular food and they even sold ice cream!! We will definitely be back very soon!!

The lady at the entrance was very rude! The movie started late and only started because someone complained ( they didnt even know) and the movie sucked! The popcorn was super salty and old tasting. People had screaming toddlers and people smoking weed! Over all horrible experience!! Never again! I'll stay home and watch Netflix in peace and not have to smell low life peoples drugs! And hear bratty kids scream!!

I have been here multiple times & have always had a great time. However, I attempted to go see Toy Story 4. The movie began at 930 I got there at 925( not thinking the lines would be so long) the line was out to the street! By the time we got to the front to buy our tickets, it was 10:12! When I got to the front I asked if they started Toy Story at 9:30. They said yes but didn't offer any type of prorate. I decided to not buy tickets because I had already missed 40 mins of the movie at this point. I understand starting the movie at 9:30 because that is the start time but they should add more lines for convenience. Only 2 movies are showing at one time, so I didn't expect the line to be so ridiculous. My advice is arrive 40 mins prior to your movie or you will miss a lot of the beginning. Other than that, it is a nice theatre but the lines suck!

Went to see The Lion King movie. I love the drive in. Used to go with my parents as a child. Lots of good memories for me. Last night there were so many families there. Seeing all the families, and the movie itself made me cry. Can't wait to go back. Hope it always stays in business. It is the last one that I know of.

I can't believe more people don't go to the drive in. For $9.50 per adult you get to watch 2 new / current releases movies. Kids only run 2 dollars to free if they are young.. their is no reason for you not to get here and watch all the movies when they come out...

Had several booths to pay at when arriving. Good pricing: $9/adult for 2 movies. Employees were helpful. Snack bar line moved quicker than expected. Lots of items to choose from. Bathrooms were upkept. Provided battery jump packs incase your car battery died. Will go back.

I haven't been to a drive-in for a while. It was a great time. Brings back memories. They are continuing to make improvements with technology for better picture and sound quality. People were friendly. Concessions were a little high priced for what you receive, but the admission price is low... So buy a popcorn and help keep the pictures playing. A great feature of this drive-in is that it has 2 screens. You have decent choices of movies to watch. Family fun and good times. Make some memories of your own.

This is the first functioning drive-in theater that I have seen since I was a child and I am 59 years old. It was a wonderful time bringing my grandchildren to see what we did when we were young when we wanted to see a movie. I will come back here every weekend with the children. Adults are only $9.50 and luckily for me children to age 11 are only $2 a piece. You can bring your own snacks you on food you can even bring your barbecue grill in grill out if you want to. Absolutely amazing! I got to go because I'm going to watch the show.

It's my first time going to a drive-in theater. I had so much fun. You can tune the radio station to listen to the movie from your car (which I think better quality than their speakers). Small popcorn was just ~$3 and it was so good!! $9.5 for 2 movies was worth it! I will definitely come back again.

It's difficult to find a drive in nowadays. The South has been around as long as I can remember. They always have first run movies to choose from. It's clean and the employees are friendly. This is an old fashioned family entertainment. Bring your snacks or purchase them here. Come as you are and be prepared to be entertained. Also, flea market during the day, a couple days a week.

I just found the food at the snack bar to be poor. Food was cold and low quality for the price. The lot was clean, the speakers were great and the picture clear.

This was my first experience at the drive-in. I really enjoyed myself and will definitely be back but only because you can't beat the price and you get two movies! The next time I come I will DEFINITELY bring my own food though... My family went to the concession 4 times and the minimum spent during those trips was $15. The third trip we bought a bag of stale snickers, but are them anyway. The last trip, I bought a bag of some of the most stale Doritos possibly ever. I went back to the concession, with the bag still full, and addressed it. The GENERAL MANAGER, Byron, gave me some major hostility and attitude and was very rude, but did reluctantly give me a refund. He tried to offer me another bag of stale chips after trying to suggest I may be lying about the chips being stale. I still rate this a great place to take the family or go on a date night but highly suggest bringing your own snacks. The popcorn is good though! Also, don't believe the concession prices on the website...they are actually higher when you are there.

We live in Dublin and make it down to this venue approximately 6 times a season. We wish we could make more but schedules.....dont let your kids miss out on this life long memory at the best prices of any theater. Very family friendly.

I will forever love this place. Tell me where and you see 2 blockbuster movies in one night for less than it cost to go to the movie theater and see one! You can take the whole family for a decent price. I love to go order pizza/Chinese and munch away in the back of my pickup truck watching movies all night. Also be kind and donate a dollar when you get your tickets.

South Drive-in is a unique experience that is hard to come by in today's world. You can show up, bring a grill and your own food (or not!), bring some folding chairs (again, or not!) and enjoy a blast from the past but with some modern movies! Add to that, you just cant beat the price! Less than $10/adult for two movies?!?! Psh!! Now, if they ask you for the $1 donation when you purchase your tickets, please, be a real patron of the cinema and do it. They want to install better speakers, laser projectors.. and a few other things that I honestly cannot recall. And that right there is the only reason why I do 4 vs 5 stars. The sound quality is better through your own car speakers on their FM turn-in option vs the drive-up speakers. But seriously, I love this place. Advanced reserved parking spots, legitimately reasonable prices on their concessions, a great time for socialization beforehand...its just a great time throughout.
