This Movie Theater belongs to the category of Movie theater.
I'm an out of towner but stopped in to watch a movie. This is a really nice theater. Prices are good and really enjoyed it.
I live in Mount Vernon Ohio. Premier Theater is the only movie theater in my area. A decent size parking lot. Movies are always showing, even during the holidays. Plenty of handicap parking. "Arcade games" when you first walk in. Today, 2/20/2019, I just saw Alita: Battle Angel. The only gripe I have, is that seating is a bit squishy. A bit more leg room would help my viewing experience.
Good size movies good sound cheap food
It's your average movie theater. Multiple screens and nothing fancy.
Didn't start movie in time shut lights off when movie wasn't on screen wouldn't work and started movie part way through
Yay!! Get out and support local. How fortunate that we have this theater right here where we live?!
They are on top of keeping the selection of movie current.
We were seated in the new theater. Tickets prices are good.
In good condition sound quality is nice, nothing wrong with it that I can tell . Employees are pretty cool and same with management, iv never had an unpleasant encounter with them. Definitely going back.
Could use some updates, however cheap tickets & decent sound. Concessions are over priced as usual but all around decent theater. At least it seems to be kept clean which is better than any other theater around.
Always fun to see a movie in Mount Vernon. All the top movies, friendly staff and good concessions. Saw ALADDIN . It's a must see, kids or no kids.
Tickets are affordable and fair but the popcorn is a bit iffy
Good place for entertainment. There's nothing to do in this town and is quite boring. I m so glad at least there's a movie theater
Good place. Foods unhealthy. And foods too pricey.
It certainly isn't bad, although the fact that there isn't any competition in Mount Vernon would make it hard to say anything negative about it if there was anything sub-par.
The prices are pretty decent at the Se7en, the seats are still old school, and the parking lot has pot holes. I go up here infrequently, just for a change of pace, or if they have a movie the theater that is closer doesn't have. The staff …
$5 Tuesday nights is such a bargain.
Enjoyed as always
Premier 7 is a nice small theater - Movie popcorn is a must. This is our primary theater for new releases.
They clean up right after the movies so you dont have bunch of trash under your feet. Very friendly when we came in the girl at ticket register was able to answer question about two movies we had. Parking lot is well lighted at night.
Well, this theater is starting to degrade. The lobby is old and out dated, actually the entire building is out dated. The seats are ok for about an hour, then they become uncomfortable. The restrooms and in dire need of an upgrade. I suppose if you only care about seeing a movie, go ahead, but if like the amenities and concessions, go ahead at your own risk.
This is a movie theater that treats their customers with great care. Plus $5 Tuesday movies! Super awesome.
I have never been here.
Their seats are super outdated. It's not very comfortable to sit for a couple of hours. The food is very limited and they still have the same old arcade machines they had when I was a kid about 15 years ago. Edit 5/12/19 bumping down to one star. We came to see detective pikachu at 7. Bought tickets at 7:03 (the movie hadn't started yet) she gave us tickets for 8 and we waited in the theater for 30 minutes before I finally asked why it hadnt started yet. So we had to wait in the theater for an hour before the movie started. Why would we buy tickets an hour ahead of time unless I specifically said for the 8 showing they should have known I was coming to see the movie that was about to start. Unbelievable, popcorn was cold and the drinks were flat by the time the movie started.
Very very dirty. Trash on floor and it was the 1st seating of the day so their is no excuse for it. Speakers cracked alot durring movie.
This theater would be ok if the ticket prices were more in line between 3-5$ a ticket but 7.50$? Not worth it, its an old school theater with old school seats nothing special. AMC in columbus has reclining seats for the same price and Carriage place on Bethel is cheaper with better seats!
It was great
I went to watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and overall, had a decent experience. The ticket cost $8.50 for a regular showing, the theater wasn't overcrowded, and the movie was decent, even if it's not in quite the same spirit as the rest of the series. The only major gripe I have is that the seats are not terribly comfortable to sit in for the duration of the movies. I'm a bigger person, both in height and weight, so I personally would prefer a big more room for my butt, and a little extra leg room. But that's it. :)
It's the only movie theater in Mount Vernon. It's not a bad place at all. Basic theater seating. Nothing special. It's a little pricey, but all theaters are. By movie theater standards, prices here are very reasonable.
Great prices for the theater. Also, the auditoriums are big
Had a blast
Great for family nights!
Besides being expensive, like most theatres are, the last 3 times we went the reel was messed up and the movie cut off. The people working there are very nice though.
Make it a habit to go here atleast once a month! Love this place!
It's ok, but the seats could be better.
Overpriced and not nice enough inside to warrant the awful attitude and service you have to endure just to see a movie. This "establishment" has certainly lost my business.
Not a good experience. The movie was messed up they knew it didn't tell anyone. Then told us there was no refund policy until a couple us went and complained, so then they decided to give us a free pass. If the movie is not working properly don't show it until the movie is fixed. Was very disappointed. Not sure if we missed anything or not in the movie.
It really stinks this is really the only theater in town and it's not a good one.. The service or prices are not that great and I've had bad experiences about every time I go. When we went to see Thor (not on a release day, we always try to …
For a small town movie theater, this place is pretty good. There's a limited amount of screens so you're usually only given the option of whatever major blockbusters are out at the time, the screens a wee bit dim, and the food/drink is crazy expensive (as is tradition). Chairs are comfy and I like going to the movies, so I'm here quite a bit.
Love the Tuesday deals! Great date night activity. Free popcorn, although sometimes it is not fresh.
Basic movie theater. I wish they could get enough funding to upgrade a bit.
Dirty. Uncomfortable chairs. Left a movie once because the sound was too high and they gave me grief when I complained!
Nice small theater with current mainstream movies
A not so crowded theatre with acceptable ticket prices.... concessions are still overpriced.
They have all day Tuesday movies for $5.00 .
Friendly staff, great popcorn!
Cool little theatre not bad bigger then it looks :)
Friendly service, but one of the hottest theatres I've ever attended. No sweater needed here!
It was what I expected. Small theater in a small town. Not bad at all really. Prices were ok and it was pretty clean. The temperature was comfortable. The only thing I'd like to add is the ability to preorder tickets with assigned seating. I'd go there again.
Literally the worst movie theater I’ve ever been to. People on their phones through the whole movie. People putting their bare feet up on the seats in front of them. Popcorn and trash all over the floor. The employees didn’t even bother to close the doors after the movie started, so there was a glare from the sun on the screen. I’d rather drive an hour and a half to columbus, than ever go to this place again.
We were charged adult rates for the kids and they wouldn't correct it. Games...updated movies.
As the only movie theater in town Premier doesn't feel the need to update any of their movie theaters. I like that they offer a great deal on Tuesdays. Tuesday is $5 a ticket and free bag of popcorn, for those who don't know. However, the smaller theaters offer little leg room and terrible movie watching experience. They have more parking space than necessary, why not look into expanding the building and making all the theaters into large rooms with theater style (raised bleacher-like) seating for better viewing experience. I know a large expense would come from this, but it would increase ticket sales and the seating capacity. So they could make their money back. It would be nice to have at least a few theater rooms with an upgraded recliner style chair. Also, remove the seating on the floor level because you can't really even see the movie without feeling like you broke your neck by the end. They also move some of the big block buster movies into smaller rooms too quickly. So if you don't go see it during its first few weeks out you'll have to sit in once of the rooms that feels like airplane seating. Cramped and almost flat. Don't get complacent as a business simply because you don't have competition. Always look for a way to offer the best experiences possible for your customers. That's how you become number 1, not simply because you just don't have a challenger.... that doesn't make you a true number 1.
Great ticket prices on tuesdays!
Movie tickets and snacks are priced to high! They have pop corn buckets but you have to purchase the bucket if you don't want the bag!!!! CRAZY!!!
Good place. Attend often. Tuesday $5 all day.
Perfectly fine cinema. Nothing wrong with it.
For a small theater, this place rocks. Good popcorn and comfortable seats.
Place is always clean workers are friendly. Snack bar is a little on the high side I think.
Nice place good price all around
Went with my girlfriend to go see the nun. Great movie. Wonderful helpful service. Seats were super comfy.
This place is very outdated compared to it's competition. However, it is tidy and they have great deals with their free membership card. Currently, Tuesday's have $5 tickets and free popcorn per ticket.
I like the sound a lot.. The seats though are not very comfortable.
Unprofessional, unbelievably disgusting behavior was displayed from all levels of employees towards college students tonight.
Drove about 20 min to Mount Vernon to catch a movie with a couple friends and I was late, they had locked the doors and would not let me buy a ticket to watch with my friends while they were in the theater? Makes no logical sense, and it’s extremely frustrating! Even called and tried to explain. Terrible customer service. (High schoolers) Lol won’t be back here anymore.
- Older building from the 90's. - Not on the main drag but a very accessible location. - Parking lot was clean and clear of garbage. - Parking spots were clearly marked. - Outside point of sales (Movie times on marquee) were very legible. Old school plastic letters not digital. Clearly marked and looked well kept and professional. ***** - Lobby was clean and well kept. - Old school video games such as Pac-Man and Donkey Kong along with 2 claw games while you wait. - 7 different rooms (theaters) playing 7 different movies on 7 different screens. **** - Sunday 3:15 pm "Captain Marvel" opening weekend. - There was an unmanned ticket booth had to buy tickets at concession stand. - No wait .. walked right up - Friendly staff - ( Just me ) 6.50 from the movie and 9.50 for a small combo 16.00 total **** - bathrooms we're well kept and clean. **** - Movie was great - Sound was great *** - Been here before ... typical 7 screen movie theater with one concession stand and one set of bathrooms. discounted ticket price (compaired to big name theaters) and over priced snacks. It does well for the size of town it's located in. - I give it a 98 in cleanliness and upkeep. - A 98 in costomers service - A 99 in movie experience - A 70 in value ... Although your not paying out 8 to 10 dollars on ticket price like the big name theaters they still sock it to you on the snacks. I paid 16.00 for just me. I could easily imagine dropping 40 bucks for a date night and 60 to 75 for a family just to watch ONE movie. - That's a 91 total
Great prices, good deals with the membership program, great concessions. Four-stars only because the 3D glasses are awful. They aren't plastic, they're large, heavy rubber that fog up very easily. Also, the volume in the theatre is hit or miss. It can be loud or it can be quieter than I'd like. All in all, I really enjoy this theatre and would recommend it to anyone.
Decent movie theatre. Nothing special but got the job done.
We enjoyed the movie.
