You have the opinions of people like you who buy the services of AMC CLASSIC Dakota Square (Movie Theater) near to the state of North Dakota.
Now the business gets a score of 3.1 over 5 and this score was based on 368 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is discreet, neither too high nor too low, and it's based on a large number of opinions, so we can think that the rating is quite credible. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they are pleased with the business, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to place scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Movie Theater corresponds to the category of Movie theater.
My Opinion- this place is absolutely disgusting. I’m assuming that the only reason they are able to stay in business, is because there is no other competition. I’m grateful to have experienced “real theaters “ in other states. Reclining seats, clean theaters and amazing food/drink options. Also- in other states, you can reserve seats. So no line waiting. If I was the Minot Manager or even the owner- I would be greatly embarrassed.
It's pretty sad how this place went down hill. I remember when they reopened the theater, it was well maintained. Now the floors and bathrooms are dirty, and some of the backs of the chairs are missing.
Worst theater I have ever attended. Only choice in minot. Dirty everywhere, the theaters & bathrooms are disgusting. There is no reason the stalls should be out of toilet paper every time we go. Your shoes stick the bathroom floor, let alone to the theater floor. Buying a glass and filling it up with water is cheaper than the 4.50 they charge for a bottle. Ridiculous. My brother works at an AMC on Wisconsin. The company should be ashamed of the Minot location.
Kinda dirty but was a holiday weekend
Way over priced. Its pretty bad when 2 adults and 2 kids have to spend a hundred dollars to go see a movie. Rediculous!!!!!
Pretty good discount for students and military. Tickets are cheaper for earlier shows as well. The theater is kept clean and is pretty comfortable.
Best thing about this place is the fact that the movie was good. Prices were too expensive and the seats were extremely uncomfortable. For the amount of money that you pay this was definitely not good.
Since when does a movie theater stop concessions at 9 pm?? Not impressed at all. I'm a stubs member and a movie pass member. Definitely not pleased whatsoever!!
Dirty, outdated, expensive and... oh, dirty! This place needs to be torn down. Minot needs a NEW and updated theatre that isn’t attached to a mall. Get with it.
Had great popcorn and great service
Needs updated, food is way over priced
Good theaters, although the seats aren't great and it always seems like something is in maintenance.
I especially don’t like the fact that the employees don’t put the butter on my popcorn. I used to get extra butter and the server would fill my bucket halfway and add butter, then fill it the rest of the way and then add more butter, voila. But now they just fill your bucket and you are on your own. The butter is a small dribble coming out and you can not get enough, horrible. AMC also cut back on salt so you have to salt your own. That little corner of the lobby where the condiments are really sucks. Ruins the whole movie experience. I don’t like going any more.
Took a friend and 5 kids to a movie on Tuesday, Feb 20. Was in for over $60 with passes and snacks. Went to the counter later on to see if I could get a small cup to give my daughter some water. The would not give me a cup. I had to ask to buy one. The bearded counter agent (would not use the word “Customer Service Agent”) eventually sold me one for $3.22. Wow, talk about not seeing the forest for the trees. Congrats, you got my $3.22, but that’s the last dime I will ever spend at this AMC theatre.
13$ for a small drink and small popcorn, I could see like 7$ for a small combo, or even 8 or 9.. 13/is just way too much. good theatre and sound. just astronomical food prices. Sneak everything in and it's aright.
Poor instructions to movie and no signs outside of correct theater!
For an entire half an hour they keep you watching nothing but commercials and previews that are so annoying. You pay for watching your movie, not for being bombarded with commercials and previews. I understand they have to update you with previews, 5 to 10 minutes, not a problem, but half an hour!!!
Movies are awsome
Clean theater, huge soft pretzels, and efficient customer service. Unfortunately, seats are outdated (unlike other AMC theaters).
Nice movie theater great prices few little games you can play always can grab a few items at the concession stand nice friendly people overall my experience here has been really good so for me it's a 5 star
Great theater lots of selections. Just wish they did 3d.
Lion King was awesome. Grandsons were happy.
I'd give no stars but that's not an option. Paid $13 a ticket to see Avengers: infinity wars on opening weekend and had the pleasure of sitting in a small, hot theater, drinking my $6 bottle of water, and watching it on the smallest screen I've ever had to watch outside of someone's house. Upgrade AMC, damn.
Smells bad
Ridiculously overpriced! Asolutely disgusting, food and ants everywhere. The bathrooms were completely filthy. Spoke to a manager and all he could say was, "yeah, other people have complained about that stuff too." Will never go back.
Basic theater experience. Small screen. Low tech audio. Limited seating. Clean. Had one broken seat. It's what you expect in an older theater.
The theater is clean. The premier service is nice. The concession stand is pricey.
The theater you love to hate. The service there is like a deleted scene from "Idoiocracy". I only go when there's a blockbuster movie that I super want to see. Even then, I set the standard for horrible expectations so that I'm only a slightly disappointed walking back through the "urinal hallways" when leaving, (don't believe? Look at umpteen other reviews). I also find it cheeky how the five star reviews kind of sound like an AMC promotional.
Movie was great but I can't believe we paid 40.00 for 1 bucket of popcorn, 2 sodas and 1 ice cream. Snack bar is overpriced. I think I will just go to oak park it's so much cheaper for admission and concessions.
Apparently they like to tell even parents that they can't bring their children into a R movie WITH their parents.. thanks for parenting my kids and what I think they can see. Get with the times.
It's a good theater, but a little aged. Otherwise, super affordable especially outside matinee hours
It was hot in the theater on our last trip. Really hot. Prices are about the same as other places. You butter and salt your own popcorn which is nice. The seats are nice. Don't use the bathrooms if you can help it. In 20 years they have never been sparkly clean.
Great theater in a great location. Staff is always courteous.
Typical movie theater. Needs renovation
Movie was really cute
Yesterday morning checked this website to see if a movie was playing, it was. Drove 50 miles, got to the theater and there was a sign on the cashier window saying the movie was canceled.
Very dirty
The movie was awesome, but not happy. I won movie cash, but they wouldn't accept it. It is listed on the back of the sheet which theaters accept it, and carmike cinemas is listed. AMC should accept it since it used carmike.
Love going to the Movies here in Minot!!! Got good staff and great food and drinks for your Movies!!!
Alright theatre staff is lackluster
Movie prices are crazy but that is everywhere. Clean theater though and good staff
All the latest movies but the theatre is outdated, lacks modern amenities, seats are uncomfortable and customer service by 15 yr olds quite frankly is poor with few exceptions. AMC needs to bring Minot up to 2018 movie theatre standards especially since they’re charging 2018 prices. When I walk in the place it’s like going “ Back to the future”! Not acceptable! Not cool!
Waited in line for 15 mins for popcorn with only 2 cashiers working. The prices are monopolized, they need to update and have reserved seating and reclining seats. Or build a stand alone cinema in Minot.
Way too much money I want to leave the theater with my arms and legs please.
We enjoy their movie clubs and popcorn bucket specials. We dont see a lot of movies every year but if we do go to a first run movie we go here. Seating is good and the theater is clean and well maintained. If you go very often I would suggest joining one of their special offer clubs. We get some special offers and savings every year.
The staff were very pleasant and happy to be of service
Good movies n staff
$50 for two tickets, popcorns, and cokes. 25 minutes of commercials prior to the show so they can squeeze a few more dimes out of you. :(
Omg we signed up for the amc A list it’s only $20 a month and you get to go to any movie at anytime it just made sense anymore a ticket it $13 so why not pay the little extra as go up to 3 times a week for a month we have really enjoyed getting to go on a dates whenever we want and not have to pay crazy amount to see whatever we want! Also we played the arcade and won the road trip twice in a row last night and got to medium prizes was very enjoyable
My mom accidentally tripped and fell yesterday while getting in line to buy tickets for The Lion King. I can’t say enough excellent things about the men that came immediately to assist myself and my mom to make sure she was ok help her get up, settled in a chair to rest a bit and a cup of water. I think all 3 worked for the theatre, 2 were in uniform and one man in street clothes. Thank you again, we went to the 4:00 movie. You are truly gentlemen and good samaritans! God Bless You all.
Nice, more less clean, friendly staff, great popcorn and fill your own drink machines, but very expensive. 1 ticket, a small popcorn and one large soda = $30bucks! Not really worth it
Bathrooms are gross. Toilet paper, water and soda all over the floor
Could be a bit cleaner but other than that, we've had great experience with staff.
They need better seats. If someone tall sits in front of you you're gonna have trouble seeing. Stadium seating would be better.
There's 1 very rude worker there who obviously doesn't like his job. He got very rude when we asked for the 2018 bucket and he tried giving us just a basic large bucket. So we just brushed it off and went to our movie. While eating the first bucket I found a hair in it! I was like ok it could be someone else's since there's 4 of us eating out of it. Then we refilled our bucket and I found 2 more hairs in it right away! Needless to say I threw it all away! I never judge anyone by the way they look but almost all the workers there seemed to have super long greasy looking hair and I found 3 hairs in the popcorn...you do the math! I'm glad we very rarely go to the movies and I honestly don't know if we will be back. I'd rather travel to a different city.
Friendly staff, clean, over priced (food and snacks)! Watched Endgame and some guy fail asleep and this crazy girl used the back of her chair to wake him up! Super rude, we all heard the guy, but girl was just to wild. Some people
As expensive as these tickets an popcorn are u think they'd have recliner seats by now . There screens are horrible. U can see the lines in the screen , not to mention they are small compared to other theater ... You think they would have upgraded there tech by now ..I tried to buy my ticket ahead of time along with claiming my seat but u can only purchase a ticket . I live in Fargo so I'm not trying to compare. But I really can't help it .All of Fargo's theaters have reclining seats an nice screens . Not to mention a dollar cheaper to watch a movie .Minot movie theater in my book is garbage .an I don't give bad reviews offten but this theater deserves it . .. thumbs down
Theater 6 sound system was terrible
I love it
Just a traditional movie theater. The audience was a bit rowdy but I can't blame the theater for that.
My BIG COMPLAINT is: THE SOUND - commercials and previews about BLOW one out of the theater. I had trouble hearing the movie when it started. My ears are still ringing an hour after the movie is over. TURN DOWN THE SOUND for them, PLEASE!!!!! ALSO, The Previews, etc. are too long & annoying. I read all the reviews & agree & disagree with them.
It needs to be more clean, it had a toilet smell but over all the staff was excellent. Food came on time.
How to train your dragon 3 is a family favorite.
Wait forever in line to get your soda. Have to butter your own popcorn now so none in the middle. Staff is friendly but no convenience as far as concessions. Seating is worse then any of the other bigger cities in ND.
Obviously the person in charge of this theatre puts more money in their pocket than anywhere else. Horrible prices for snacks, food, and drinks. $6 dollars for a bottle of water is unrealistic. I’ve brought my son to watch a movie a couple times and we will wait for movies to come out and buy them rather than support this poorly run business robbing people of time and money they probably already don’t have enough of.
The paint and wallpaper is peeling and seats are torn. Bathrooms are dated and often very neglected. Desperate need of updates and general upkeep/mainance. Very seldom do I visit this place now that Oak Park is open again and I have digitally steaming services at home.
Great stores
This theater is pretty cruddy. It's dirty (does anyone ever vacuum?) and falling apart while the prices are outrageous. Plus they left a light on during the movie, which was uber annoying.
The picture quality and sound was good. But walking to the movie smelled like being in a portable toilet, the seating is the same poor quality of the 90s, seats are cramped and uncomfortable and on top of it for a regular popcorn that they dont even put the butter on when they put it in a bag so it's only on top not mixed and for a regular coke that they dont even put in the cup and a bag of sour gummies is over 20 bucks it's over priced most movies for that money have recliner chairs and bring you food. Typical for the services in the area top dollar for bottom quality THIS PLACE WOULD NEVER STAY IN BUSINESS IN A NORMAL CITY.
Was a very good experience and easy to get in.
Getting better guys! Getting better!
I was really surprised at this theater. The lobby is nice and inviting, but upon entering the theater room itself, we noticed the floor was not swept clean, and the back covers of some of the chairs were missing. I also have to note that the seats we were in were not comfortable. They leaned forward slightly. During previews, nothing played on the screen, but the volume was on. We could hear the AMC ads, but not see anything. That was peculiar. I wanted more. I wanted a better experience. And if I'm paying 18.00 for two matinee tickets, I want a decently comfortable seat.
I find the whining about price comical from prior posts. I live in Williston and would love a place like this where we are. I have been to see a movie here a couple of times. Nice facility, although probably not top of the line. Convenience of being in the mall for shopping, food and a movie...."Priceless"..lol. $12 is not that much for a good movie considering I was paying $10.50 at other venues fifteen years ago. Somebody on here claimed they spent $30 for one person to see the movie, (two people I could see). I doubt that, but $20-$22 per person for movie, popcorn, and drink is about right (Matinee's are cheaper). Also, as one girl talked about the cost of running these things. First run movie prices are usually set by the industry standard, the places like this have to charge at least that much. They usually do not make much if anything off the movie ticket prices. They survive and are there for you because of concession sales. One reason they are a bit spendy, but worth it for the experience. Thank you to the staff that always works for the customer.
Blockbuster movies come out, they staff it with three people. Drink machines always out and they funnel everyone to the straw/cover area in the middle for no reason.
Disgusting and filthy every time we go. Completely outdated and it smells like urine in the halls. I have a very difficult time going to this theater and frequently reject offers to attend a movie at this location with friends simply because I can not stand to step foot in their restrooms.
I always love going to the movies and, from my experiences in Arkansas, this is my favorite AMC to date.
Staff is very helpful. Theaters are pretty clean but sometimes bathrooms are not stocked which can be very problematic.
Showed up for movie....shown on screen that movie wasnt sold out. Waited 20 mins just too find out movie was sold out
Way to pricey for that movie theater. But only real choice in the area. Kindve dirty alot of the times we go in and employers were sometimes short like they didnt want to be there.
2 tickets and Large popcorn $38.02 If you enjoy shity customer services way over priced popcorn. this is the place to go i took my girlfriend to watch a movie grabed a cup of regular coffee from Barns&Nobels and the ticket checker told me i cant let you take that in there.... then serve coffee...
Dirty! Popcorn, show tickets, candy wrappers in front of the butter dispenser. There was a storage closet with the door open. Lots of unorganized junk in there. Looked like that has been that way for a long time. What a mess! Then, I set my purse on the floor in front of me, during the show, and it was sticky from whom ever spilled a drink earlier. It wasn't wet but already dry/sticky. Really disappointed in the appearance of it all. Neglect, laziness, ....... Probably going to go to Oak Park Theater more. Its cheaper and I don't need to see some of these shows as soon as they get released?
Spendy. Confessions are very pricey, movie tickets are average price. Always playing the newest stuff. Never part of any ghiblifests, so that stinks. Theaters are generally always clean.
The movie always starts late
Very low standards for such an outrageous amount of money. Update: This happened a few months ago but worth mentioning. I somehow dropped my wallet while watching a movie in theater. The same night I realized I had left it there and the next morning I called they told me they had it and they would hold it. Unfortunately I left for business the day after and didn't return for a few days. When I returned I went to the office and they claimed they no longer had it. Apparently they throw things away if not claimed with in a period of time. Well it had been no more than 5 days, I called and claimed it, they said they would hold it, and still threw it away. I was told that there was nothing they could do for me. They threw away my Tero license, business license, drivers license, and fishing license. I had business cards with my contact info inside and anyone with any sense could reach out to someone via social media or the 100 other outlets available to connect with someone in 2017. Further more, I went in with my family to watch a movie just recently and was told my popcorn bucket was from 2016 and I needed to purchase a new one. The prices are already absolutely unheard of and then you pull this? If I could give this place negative reviews I would and if it wasn't the only place in Minot to go see a movie I wouldn't think twice about never returning. I sincerely hope the new management gets there ducks in a row but I have little faith.
Always has sticky floors. Most seats are comfortable, with a few exceptions. Usually no technical difficulties. Most staff are pleasant & helpful.
Strangest thing, there is zero external indication that there is a movie theater in that mall. Good service.
Snacks way to expensive no wonder theaters are going out of business
Super expensive
This theater was totally disgusting and dirty. You would think being attached to a great mall and motel it woulda been ALOT cleaner. And the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting.
I have to agree with others Wish they put butter on popcorn I also would like the lids and straws moved others are waiting while you put lids on... lines are slow to get drinks....
I couldn't believe the poor quality of the cleaning crew. The floors of the theater were insanely sticky as were the seats. Food on the floor everywhere. I understand that there is little time to clean between showings, but if a theater is that bad, postpone the movie and clean. The length of the film should be plenty of time to mop the floors. Btw....the floor was so sticky, my shoe was pulled off of my foot as I exited the theater.
Usually come here because it is the only theater in town. Tickets and snacks are expensive but so is other theaters. Lobby looks nice and their is some really nice employees. But when you go in a room it is dirty. Floors are sticky... popcorn everywhere. I dont remember amc ever being like this. Rented one of those mall carts for children for 7$ and drove it directly to the theater. Bought the tickets and drinks. At the check in, they tell me we cant take the cart in.... but its ok to bring in strollers? I dont understand? I told them I have been in here plenty of times with the cart and they never told me anything till now. I offered to leave the cart outside the room and they refused. I walked out to see if I see any signs prohibiting the entry with carts but their isnt any. Had to turn in my cart and spent 7$ for less than 10 mins. Lesson... dont bring in carts...
Always a great place to take the kids
Good place to see a movie go to the mall stuff like that
Nice theater, good selection of movies, and good food
It's your classic theater. Spendy but whatever.
This place is in a dire need of an update. The place is absolutely filthy. AMC should feel embarrassed to have this as one of their locations.
The AMC setup doesn't work within the establishment; the movie scheduling causes crowding and confusing lines. Also the place is always dirty (besides parts of the lobby). The floor behind the concession counter is absolutely disgusting, some wet floor signs still say Carmike on them, there is not enough counter room by the pop and butter station, our movie was extremely blurry, and the overpriced popcorn tastes old. The pop machine is cool though because it has multiple variations of soda flavors, but it isn't enough to keep business when the movies are blurry, particularly The Grinch. For now on, I go to Oak Park Theater. When Carmike owned the theater before AMC, it was clean and the popcorn was inexpensive and tastey. I decided to go to Oak Park Theater tonight instead. Hopefully AMC can fix some of these mistakes so Minot can have a nice multiscreen theater again. They are minor problems, but the small things are what people notice the most.
Ever time there has been broken chairs, sticky floors, tears in the screens. Today the previews were sound only,, no picture, about 85 degrees in the theater, and old popcorn. Only first run in town, but hands down the worst theater i have ever been too. I see what zero choices do for owners and managers. Shame. You cut quality and cleanliness, but not prices.
I was an A-list member and saw 37 movies over 4 months. A few issues with seats and hoping they keep things cleaner but I enjoyed every movie.
Always enjoyed watching movies here, but ever since AMC took over the popcorn was never the same. I think the snack prices are way to high, especially for terrible popcorn.
$9 for a small popcorn There membership charged me 75 dollars when I signed up to watch a movie then I was harrassed and said no refunds I'm now suing for the harassment and credit card fraud. 2 staff agents of amc stubs harrassed me. Scam company. Staff said many people scammed.
Friendly environment Great for people with disabilities because of upgraded equipment
It's an ok experience, really your only option here in town if you want to see a movie on opening day. Prices are a bit out there but not as bad as most bigger city theatres. It's very messy in the theatres. Floor is always very audibly sticky and the chairs aren't very comfortable for the price your paying for admission. There's no IMAX option which is also a bummer. They do have 3D showing though. The create-your-own flavor coke machines are a plus.
Best In town cause it's the only in town
Uncomfortable seats. Staff acts like surly bored teenagers because they well... are surly bored teenagers. Shabby decor.
The rear ladies' restroom was very dirty and absolutely no paper towels. They completely ran out of popcorn twice and out of soda cups while my husband waited for 30 minutes. It may be the only game in town but for the price we pay it should be a better experience. This is NOT the first time this theatre has been in this shape when my family has been there.
For where we live, in an area where minimum wage is only $7, this theatre is too darn expensive. Ticket prices should not exceed minimum wage. The annual bucket is a good deal, until you raise the price of the refill on an annual basis!! I can buy popcorn, soda, hot dogs, and nachos with Fresh chips, plus rent a movie from Video Magic for less than it costs me to go to the theatre! It's too bad they can't adjust prices to enable more people to enjoy a night out!
Very dirty, smelly, outdated, rude customer service at the counter, the popcorn is always stale. This theater is in need of some SERIOUS renovations.
This place does not live up to standards of other theaters. They named it AMC classic so that way they wouldn't put any real money into making it a nice theater.
Been going for years. Decent place to sit and watch movies. I love the AMC members options.
The worst theater I have ever been to dirty and disgusting
Even back in the day, I would much rather have gone to the big screen at the Empire. But no, Cine 7s parent company bought it, sold it and it became a parking lot. The wise thing to have done is used it for first run movies rather than utilize 2 to 3 theaters for first run movies. Going to Carmike was like cattle being headed to slaughter and I never could afford popcorn and a soda both. One or the other. And they wonder why people sneak stuff in. After paying ticket prices, who can afford much else. It is to be going to the movies was a fairly reasonable (cost wise) to spend an evening, even if you were a student who only worked part time. Now, I don't go to movies as I would have to knock over a bank first.
The biggest faults of this place are not the fault of the employees... They don't set the prices, invest money into the cinema (or seating) or make the decisions that keep traffic within the business bottlenecked... I actually think the staff is holding together quite well as I do see the same individuals working there over time... Which says something - so that's good. Overall, it's frustrating that THIS cinema is our only option in Minot. I wish the price weren't so expensive for such a low quality experience. I am hopeful that things are changing for the better - but this place is in serious need of an operational over hall. I'm not trying to be rude - but it's a very sad state considering what they charge. No bad wishes. And I completely admit a customer could never know what goes on behind the scenes (rent, staffing, cost, etc...) But, as a resident of Minot - I hope something changes.
Peaceful and fun!
So gross and dirty! It ruins the movie experience.
Great service, great seating. Popcorn tasted great, fresh even though they weren't busy when we went in
It's good. Just needs more icee flavors.
The staff is very friendly
Popcorn was old and stale and cold. The temperature everywhere in the theater was entirely too hot. Felt uncomfortable and sweaty the entire movie.
Was happy we could purchase tickets online. Got to the theater on a rainy Saturday afternoon to two people working concessions. ALL drinks (except slushies) are out! Come into the theater and the previews are running with sound only and no video! Come on people! Get it together!!!
2 weeks straight of "big" openings and there's no ice. Full price drinks, though. I'm fairly positive that there's gotta be a repairman somewhere.
Customer service was absolutely awful, buying our tickets and snacks was like interacting with a dead person. She was terrible
Great movie theater
Place needs repairs. Some of the screens have noticeable damage and tears. Some of the seats aren't in the best shape either. The prices are kinda high which would be fine if the place wasn't so beat up. The service is fine and the 5 dollar Tuesdays deal is great.
Nice and clean. Great place to watch a movie!
Bring a blanket or a ac depending on what room your movie is in, prices are amazingly high.
These movie theaters were great ten years ago. Times have changed this theater needs to upgrade. If you want good service go to Grand Theaters in Bismarck. The first movie i seen there was Avatar 3D. I made up my mind then which theater was better.
It's a nice theater, clean and its always fun to get away for a great movie. They lost one star because if the concession prices....I mean my grandson had $5 and I had to run up and help him cause it wasnt enough money for a small drink!
Absolutely the worst theater I have ever been to 2 ppl working 1 selling tickets and 1 in concessions and the lines out the door and the same with the stupid premier line and 1 Person selling concessions. Also very dirty and run down. Will not be back! I'd rather drive to Bismarck and go to the Grand theater.
Everything is great but the restrooms are disgusting. Beware of the butter content on the popcorn, you'll have bowel problems if too much.
If there was another place in town, I'd go there, but since there isnt, I'm stuck going to this dirty, dated movie theater until something better comes along.
Ticket prices good...snacks are severely over-priced.
they changed the name to AMC and kept everything in low quality .. seats..screen..and sound systems are old but prices went up .. only movie theatre in town .. and it sucks ...
Worst AMC I have ever been to. I travel all the counrty for work and love going to AMC theatres using my Stubs card/rewards. Their employees are truly not up to AMC standards and need to be checked up on. I had an issue asked to speak to a manager was given the run around final for the district mangers name was told their not allowed to give out that name to anyone.lol But I could email my complaint in but the AMC would only sebd it back to this manger for consideration so basically do what I wanted because it would come back to him and he didn't he a care!!! SO DON'T GO TO THE MINOT AMC DON'T WSSTE YOUR MONEY! FROM A 50 YEAR AMC COUSTUMER!
Seating is not the most comfortable but it's OK for a 2 hour movie. Popcorn is good, and with the annual bucket you can really enjoy it every trip to the mall. They need an online ticket pickup machine and if they have one they need to display it better.
Seats are a bit uncomfortable, and it's overpriced for the quality of the theater.
Waited in line over an hour, missed the show we wanted, booked one for several hours later, still waited in line 30 minutes for popcorn. Snackbar cashiers should not be selling tickets and food, ticket window was closed. One register open for non premier members and 2 open for premier members, even when the premier line was empty. Also very expensive, no more AMC for us.
Friday night, 6pm, 1 kid working the ticket counter. Line almost to JCPenny. We left.
Seats are uncomfortable. Hard to sit for 2-3 hours through the movie.
Nice clean friendly people working there
Enjoyed the movie chairs are a bit uncomfortable but I enjoyed my movie date with the wife
I wish there was lower than one star. I've been in movie theaters all over the United States and this is by far the most run down dirty theater ever. They had wooden pilots with supplies stacked on them in the hall ways not in storage. I'll drive to Bismarck if I want to see another movie. I mean people were rolling around in the floors and the employees did nothing but offer them a drink lol. It was also hotter than Hattie's. I could go on but you make up your own mind.
Was not real happy that they would not honor their $5 premiere stubs for Tuesday New year's day
Terrible service over priced and dirty
good
Wayyyy too expensive.
It is an in mall theater, so, it's a little older, but still good.
One of the worst theaters I've been too...seems like all of the employees don't know how to use the free rewards u get. Plus their selection of movies are small and only for a short period of time. I have traveled over 2hrs to see a good movie that another Carmike is showing.
Love this place
AMC recently purchased and is making changes and not all for the better. Modernizing is a great thing till it breaks down as did one of only two new Coke dispensers with touch screens. Putting technology into the hands of the public that do not use it on a daily basis is going to slow down service and cause large lines. We sat through Power Rangers and there was a sound glitch in a part of the movie that was kinda key and when I approached management afterwards I was told updates are being made, this I believe with the pallets of supplies all spread over the hallways with supplies and what looks like newer equipment. Bottoms line they have descent seating and have not burnt the popcorn, yet! One of one major theater here so kind of have no choice if I want to go see it on the big screen, hope AMC and the theatre management can sort it all out soon
Planned to enjoy a movie with my husband, ended up sitting in the theater full of children (infants, toddlers, pre-school, etc) who talked throughout the entire movie (Jurassic Park PG-13). A possible solution for parents who do not want to get a baby sitter would be to offer two showings of the same movie; one for families with small children and one for adults who would prefer to watch a movie without chatter...will consider another theater option next time.
great movie, good food, high price but its Minot, we kinda need it
cold popcorn. pop dispensers had run completely out of ice movie was late starting just overall not a good time. i go to the movie for the big theater experience and wish i would have stayed home!
Don't care for the express line No real value for the money spent
Filthy.
New seating - rigid but cushioned, good
