Nice theatre with lots of showtimes. Very modern, everything looked either very new or very well maintained. Comfy seating. Tickets were reasonably priced as movies go, with an extra savings on Tuesdays. Concessions we're pricey as expected, but there was a good selection.

My favorite movie theater to go to very clean and not crowded. concessions are extremely expensive though but that is how they make their money so you can't hate. Also Tuesdays you can see any show for $5!

I've seen a few movies here and had the same good experience. The theater is very clean and easy to navigate. Food and beverage selection is good, it would be better if they served alcohol. I like the $5 deals on Tuesdays! Overall, very nice!

The theatre is clean but the seating is cramped. We paid $4 a ticket extra for the PDX experience and the screen and sound was good but the seating was terrible. I’m 5’9” and had no leg space, it felt like economy class flight seating. Every time I’d reposition myself during the movie I’d hit the seat of the gentlemen in front of me and same went for the woman behind me hitting my seat. Also the app to purchase tickets is horrific and the fact that you cannot reserve seats is dumb. For being the newest theatre in town they got the seating wrong. Stick to the Regal in Mayfair.

First time at this theater, it does not disappoint! Very comfortable seating, tiered properly so everyone can see, no obstructions. Armrests are great, great sound and picture quality. Staff was upbeat and friendly! The area for popcorn was neat, you can doctor it up how you want!

It is a movie theater. Nothing real great. Popcorn was stale at a 2pm movie, not what I consider a good sign. No comfy recliner like other theaters in Wilmington. Person beside me had bad body odor, which I admit soured my experience. I'd go back, but I'll be happy when my preferred theater opens back up.

Well the price of general admission is high, as it is with every other mainstream movie theater chain, The Pointe offers a number of cost-effective options for watching movies at non-conventional times, or older films. Their throwback theater is extremely cheap and offers some truly outstanding classic films. The Pointe is extremely clean and beautiful. There are conveniently-located bathrooms making breaks during the movie painless, and the staff always seems extraordinarily knowledgeable and friendly.

Went to see The Lion King with my son and really enjoyed it. Clean and convenient set up. Prices were pretty high but definitely worth the experience. My boy and I thoroughly enjoyed our outing. We will definitely be going back for some other movies.

I just love the atmosphere and Cleanliness of this place. In the summer they have a program for children in the mornings , movie $1, drinks $1, popcorn $1,for a total of $3, I get to take my childcare, after school/ summer campers out for a treat once a week. Been doing this at “the Point 14 “for 2years and can’t wait for the third year(2019) coming soon .

Nice large modern theater. They have a lot of show times and the theater we were in was large and clean and comfortable. Pretty good choices for concessions. They are pricey, but that's movie theaters for you. Everyone there was very friendly too, so that's always a plus. They have special movie deals on Tuesday, I think its $5 matinee tickets and discounts on concessions, so if you want to go during the week, Tuesday is your day.

This was my first visit to The Pointe 14. Watched the movie in the PDX theater. Movie had great sound which was better than Mayfair in my opinion. But I prefer Mayfair when it comes to seating. More room and more comfortable than The Pointe. Lastly, popcorn is generally amazing at the movies. But based on my first time here, the popcorn was terrible. Very bland compared to other movie theaters. Overall, good theater though.

Makes you feel very welcome. We had an issue with some people constantly talking in a movie and spoke to managment and in no time had asked them to leave. We love it there. Great family atmosphere. So not once in my life have i been told to go.outside and finish my drink. I explained I bring a small drink with me because if i don't i tend to cough and i dont want to disrupt other people. They said they could refund my ticket or i could leave the drink.outside. not once in my 20 years if going to movies have i had a theater basically force me to buy their over priced drink or tell me i wouldn't be allowed in the movie. Well mayfair is just down the road and they allow me plus have way better seating anyway. So yeah first and last visit to this theater for me. They did give me a curtsey water about the size of a shot glass so i would have to get up out the movie 4 times to refill. So yeah wont return. But if for some reason i do ill just sit and cough through whole movie see how other patrons feel about them not letting me in with a small drink.

The prices are better here and there is no assigned seating, thank god! We drive an hour to come to this particular theater. The food court could use a little work however. We got 2 orders of cheesesticks and went to our movie..once we got situated in our seats we realized they were still partially frozen. We didn't want to miss the movie so we toughed it out.

I live right next to this place and would rather go to Mayfaire lol. Because I feel like if you’re going to be the latest then you should be the greatest. Either the people who paid for this place to be built didn’t realize they’re competing with Mayfaire or weren’t willing to put in the money to be better than Mayfaire and that’s a shame to me. Or at least be just as good. The area around Mayfaire is also more entertaining to walk around than the pointe 14 area. Also, the first time I went there I gave the cashier a dollar too much for my food and drink and the cashier guy put it in the cash register and wasn’t about to give it back until I asked for it

They have a great Tuesday movie deal that included $5.00 tickets and another $5.00 combo special for a small popcorn and drink. The movie theatres were a good size with comfortable seats. Although the location was very nice, 5 star on that part, I was highly disappointed with the sound. Let me start by saying I dont like over top, beyond loud movies or music, but when I am in the middle of the theater seating and am struggling to hear parts of it and what I can hear there was almost no bass at all. It sounded like someone turned the bass all the way down and lowered the volume and no one checked on it. To say there was no bass is almost an understatement since my Amazon DOT at my house had more bass playing the same song. If they had the volume situates I would have given it a 5 star without hesitation.

I'm a huge movie goer and visiting my son who goes to UNCW and I ❤️ this theater!!! Reserved recliners have ruined me for other theaters but this place was awesome! The extra wide leather seats are amazing. I highly recommend this theater!

Compared to the theater at Mayfair, this one starts off two steps behind the competition by lacking in a few areas that make Mayfair worth the money and trip. To start, you cannot reserve seats, which is a big letdown for 2018. Second on the list is the poor seating compared to Mayfair. For some reason someone decided that crunching the seats and levels over one another within 20" of space would be fine, it not only is much less comfortable than the recliners that Regal delivers, you are also much more condensed. I was kicked in the back of my chair twice in 30 minute by people simply wanting to go to the restroom or concession stand, so don't lean back in your seat unless you dont mind having things spilled on you or run the risk of someone falling on top of you. Third on the list is the condition of those seats, which are less than a year old at this time of writing. The cup holders are already showing bubbles & warping on the finish which makes the place look warn down compared to its age. Which is sad, really. Fourth in line is the poor audio. For such large areas, you would expect the bass to be rich but instead you're treated with a flat balance of tones which is another letdown. On the bright side, they have a great location and the staff is great but they ultimately fail based on poor design and overall business model. Spend 2 extra bucks and deal with traffic for Mayfair.

This movie theater got the job done but the seats are really uncomfortable. Its brand new and very clean and well maintained. But I won't be going back. The one in mayfaire is much better. the seats recline and you can pick your seats so there is no having to get there early to get a good seat or worrying if it is going to be packed.

It's a beautiful theater but we bought tickets to see Dark Phoenix in theater 6, June 14th 9:40 show. We were so excited but couldn't not watch the whole movie because it was ridiculous LOUD!! The were 3 of us and we all had to leave because of how loud the bass was. They are going to blow those new speakers out. We reported to the manger and he told us the sound was fine. Lol yeah right. As we were leaving you could hear it way out in the parking lot. My ears hurt so bad and my friend has a killer migraine. They really need to get that in check. I have been to movies all my life and have never experienced anything like that.
