What a clean quaint little theater. We love its small town charm and friendliness. It was just the right size place for us. It had the movies we wanted to see and it's very close to our home so no late night drives from Virginia.

Being used to huge theaters, I was a little leary about trying a small theater like this. I was worried the picture and sound was going to be subpar. I was wrong. I love this place. The staff is awesome. The prices are amazing in comparison to most theaters today. And the movie experience was great. Could use an update in chairs at some point, but other than that, it's a nice place to see a movie without the outrageous prices and big crowds.

Loved the experience. My son and I saw 47 Meters Deep. We got nachos, cotton candy, skittles and a beverage. We pretty much had the theater to ourselves, which was awesome. I absolutely love the remodel. The bathrooms were immaculate. The coolest part? My son left his skittles, and a staff member found us across the street at Peebles and gave them to us. Great business, great staff. Very. Satisfied.

Both my wife and myself are from Long Island, NY, we have a house in Hertford, NC. We have gone to the theater in E.C. and was very disappointed, couldn't hear the movie even after asking them to turn up the sound- a waste. This Taylor theater is like going back in time, the people friendly, popcorn & drinks reasonably priced. The theater itself is very old but we thoroughly enjoyed the movie, we could hear everything and it wasn't crowded, we will definitely be going back to see more movies.

Love this theatre. Get out of your car; walk to the one ticket window where there is rarely a line. Same person might also get you your popcorn. No hassling for parking, fighting crowds, trying to find which of the 14 mini-theatres have the film you want. Simple and great.

There is always something magical about going to the movies for a child . The giant candies, the fresh buttery popcorn and picking your seats as close or far as you want. Sharing an adventure with not just friends and family but neighbors too . I loved the movies as a kid and seeing the excitement in my sons face as we walk threw those double doors is priceless! Awesome place with awesome people :)

The crowd to see one of the movies was horrible and a whole group of kids were bringing their friends up to cut line in front of everybody until we stopped it since management wasn't doing anything. Other than this everything else ran smooth

The reason you don't fight for parking is because there isn't any. Its a small theater on a mainstreet in a retirement community. Overpriced, old, its definatly not 5 stars when every year there is a "Save the Taylor Theater" facebook page. Its just the only one for 20miles. That's all

Small town, small Theater, Big heart. You want the bumping elbows and crowds of rude people, don't go here. This place is polite family oriented and just over all friendly. Clean with fresh popcorn and drinks. Prices are nothing compared to bigger cities. Great small town experience!!!
