Legit the only reason I give 4 stars is cause it's literally FREEZING in the theaters. Everything is clean and comfy, just be sure to bring a winter coat to survive the movie.

Best place to see a movie in town. Especially when they have the blast from the past movies. Tickets are priced well. Concessions cost an arm and a leg but that's any theater. The only downside is half the time, the person at the ticket desk has an attitude.

I always choose this cinema when going to see superhero films. The 4k laser dolby atmos extra large cinema is where it is at. They show specific films on this screen and it is a little more on the price, but well worth it!

Was disappointing to get there and find out what we thought was $5.00 to cost us $9.00. the tickets were $5.00 with a $4.00 up charge. They said it was the type movie showing. They should advertise better. Will go back to Cinema 16 on Tuesday's for now on.

Love the Flashback series, had a blast watching Indiana Jones and Dirty Dancing, all in the space of a week. First run PDX shows have been great as well. I just need to bring a hoodie or blanket and it's an almost ideal movie house.

This place is a gem. First off the location is just gorgeous set up in a little strip mall setting. Then once you get in the theaters is is very upscale I mean they serve beer and wine however it is pricey, $5.50 for a beer and $7.00 for a glass of wine. The theatre seats do recline and the screen and sound system are incredibly immersing.

Comfortable seating good snack options. They offer pdx versions of the movie as well but it's $4 more than the regular movie. I've been about 4 times and each time it has been clean. I've only had one rude encounter with an employee and I'm not even sure it was intentional but the other stuff has been just fine.

I visited the Stone Theater approximately a month ago to see Black Panther in IMAX. I had never been to this theater and was immediately impressed with the overall appearance and lay out. I was able to purchase a ticket, check out upcoming movies to be shown at that location, visit the concession counter and enter the theater quickly. The theater was quite impressive with beautiful surroundings, large reclining seats with drink holders and plenty of room so you didn't feel like you were sitting right on top of the person next to you. Every seat felt like a prime location for viewing, the picture quality was excellent and the sound was incredible.

Great service at the counter, very efficient, helpful, and she saved me money! Seats are comfortable and easy to navigate the theatre. Parking is a little spread out but not bad. Nice experience.

This theatre is very clean. It's got a huge snack counter with a great selection. It was nice and cool inside, which I really appreciate when it's 100 outside. The seats where very plush and even reclined a bit, the sound was amazing, very immersive. And lastly the picture quality was top -notch.

The theater is extremely comfortable, both in temperature and luxuriousness! The leather seats with a slight recline make any seat in the house a good one. The popcorn is always being popped fresh, and they offer unlimited refills on the bucket. My family and I really enjoy the summer $1 movies too!

My wife and I saw Break Through tonight at the Stone Theater and we very much enjoyed it. We ordered Fandango tickets, so we were able to skip the line and just go right into the movie. Had an awesome time and very much enjoy getting out and seeing a movie here when ever we have date night. Look forward to our next movie date night

Well, this is a nice theater, but...your free popcorn award is given to you on a little receipt that you have to keep track of...right! What's that all about? The seats are big, but there isn't enough room to pass by someone sitting without causing a commotion. Given that there are more theaters in town, this is not our first choice...go to Mayfair for the best experience.

I love this theater! It is always clean and smells nice. I have not experienced any bad customer service and I have always gotten my tickets and snacks in a timely manner. They have discounts on Tuesdays and I do believe everyday for seniors and military. In a location with plenty of restaurants, so have a bite to eat before or after a movie!

The cleanest theater in town! Great picture, awesome seats, and everything including the bathrooms were clean. All staff from the ticket booth, the ticket checker, and the snack bar attendant were super friendly and very efficient! We love that they show old movies on Sundays and on Tuesdays they run a $5 ticket price. Highly recommend this theater!

Had an awful experience at the consessions. My friend and I ordered the large popcorn and 2 med. drinks. We asked if the drink was free refill she said no only the large were free refill. So we said oh OK no problem, so how much ARE the refills? She responded with you can't get refills....huh? You can't pay extra to get a refill? Odd...I was asking her why and she says they just don't do it, only for the large ones. By this time the manager walks over and says the same thing. I was really not understanding as we wanted to be able to get refills of course. He made a rude remark "didn't you hear her say you couldn't get refills on anything but a large?" Ummm actually no. That's not what she said. She said you could only get FREE refills on the large. Nothing about not being able to refill a different size. So he kept arguing with me and we walked away upset. We get to the butter station and my friend says why don't you just get a refund for what we just got and then order the larges so that we CAN get the refills. So I walked back over and spoke with a different gentleman as the other 2 were busy. We told him what we wanted to do and he says "well we can just upcharge you to the large combo for $1.75 and then it would all be free refill" ARE YOU SERIOUS!??? That's literally all that the lady AND manager had to say from the get go. But no. Neither one of them offered that option to us. The manager should have most definitely tried to fix the situation instead of standing there arguing with me over $1.75....shame. lousy management. Thank you Benjamin for clearing things up for us and bringing that to our attention. The whole mess could have been avoided had that been said to begin with.

Such a wonderful experience! We had our twins birthday party there, and it was great! The staff was really helpful, and our party assistant was awesome! Her name was Mackenzie, and she made sure we had everything we needed to celebrate their birthdays. They even reserved a row in the theater for all of our guests.

Always a great experience in PDX format. The Dolby ATMOS sound quality is far superior to anything else in the area, and the difference is clear when you screen the same movie in a traditional format. The slight upcharge is a value if you're at a good movie with high experience expectations!

Clean, but dont arrive later than 15 mins for a movie. They WILL NOT sell you a tix even if you acknowledge that you know you are going to miss a few mins of the movie. Usually previews during the 1st 15 mins anyhow. Very upset they wouldnt allow me to buy a ticket & the movie came off the list as I was waiting in Line.

Love this theater! Comfortable seating, freshly popped popcorn, roomy and clean. They have 14 theaters showing movies at a wide range of times so you can fit new releases into your schedule easily. We like to go on Tuesdays because of their reduced ticket prices ($5 before 5pm and $6 after 5pm), and small popcorn/drink combo for $5. Can't go to the movies for $20 many places anymore, especially a new theater. We like that it's closer to home and we don't have to drive all the way to Mayfaire. Wish something like this would come to southern New Hanover County!

I have stopped going to Mayfaire and AMC because of the Stone Theater. The staff is always friendly and fast. The snack stand is always full and tidy. I only tend to go to the movies once in awhile, but its $5 dollars on Tuesdays and when we go there isn't any seating arrangements. That is what stopped me from going to Mayfair. The AMC always has busy roadwork and that discourages me from going over there.

Great customer service. I was in a cast and on crutches and they had a complimentary wheelchair. The manager even helped myself and kids by pushing me in the wheelchair and getting us all settled in the theatre and helping at the concession stand.
