This place is pretty much you get what you pay for. Don't expect a ton of movie choices theres usually at most 4 or 5 showing. Overall it was pretty much just a cheaper alternative to one of the bigger budget theatres, good prices, relatively empty theatres, and mostly new movies. Nice if you dont want to break the bank.

I've been going to this cinema since it was a first-run. I've always had a good experience. Reasonable concession prices and you can't beat the ticket price! It's also cleaner than many of the first-run cinemas I've attended.

This is a great cheap movie theater, I take my grandkids there and they really enjoy it. The concessions are reasonable and they have special days I think it's Tuesday where the concessions are totally cheap

They are no longer the $2 theatre. Concessions cost more again, charge for refills of sugar water etc. Same stick old seats. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Not worth driving across town for anymore

This place offers second run movies for a very reasonable price. But I still can't get past the fact that after purchasing my tickets 15 minutes before showtime, I stood in line for popcorn and a drink for 35 minutes. The two cashiers were less than stellar employees with a "we don't care" attitude. It was enough to make a Christian squirm in his nice words. Needles to say, I guess you get what you pay for. Good luck here.

OWNER - SHAME ON YOU ...THIS IS NO WAY TO TREAT YOUR "LOYAL" MOVIE PATRONS! We are senior patrons and our "Date Night" every Tuesday evening included enjoying a modest dinner and a movie at Sedgefield Crossing's Cinema (Greensboro, NC) because it was affordable to do on our budget. Although we knew that the special prices on Tuesday would not last forever (i.e., a dollar each for a movie, small popcorn & a small drink), it would have been more respectful to your Tuesday movie customers NOT to find out upon arrival about the price changes (abruptly made by the owner). Perhaps in the future, the owner could have signs posted, along with sharing other appropriate notifications (online, flyers, etc.) about upcoming price changes -- along with other information (e.g., showing first-rate movies, etc.) -- about a month in advance. This would allow your patrons time to adjust their schedules and finances, accordingly. Well, it was nice while it lasted! PS - The concessions team was great and I'll miss seeing you on Tuesdays!!!

Awesome movie theatre without the frills. Tickets range anywhere from $4 to $6 compared to local theaters that charge anywhere from $10-$16. The staff is extremely nice, the screens have good quality, and popcorn is the freshest I’ve ever had at a movie theatre.

Location was nice no funny smells seem to be really clean in the theaters the lobby was not well lit however the service was pretty good and the popcorn was hot $2 for an evening with a friend you couldn't ask for a better location to go hidden yet great price if you want to sneak off with a friend when nobody can find you this might be the news hot spot to go to we enjoyed it and then we slipped off into the interstate and disappear great movie The Circle it was great in the location was awesome good job guys keep the prices low let's support them go there $2 full movie you can't beat it.

What a great and friendly place to take the kids for an inexpensive movie or even a date. It's pretty clean, the picture is good and the sound is good as well. The people at the concession stand are friendly and the prices are not too bad at all. If you buy a bucket of popcorn for $10, then you can bring it back for $3.75 refills for the rest of the year. Love it! The only bad experience we ever had was when someone I was with sat in a wet seat, but that could happen any where, I guess. Someone spilled a soda. Other than that, I would highly recommend to anyone.

If you're looking for upscale theater this is not it. But for the price $2 a movie it is pretty great. Popcorn and soda doesn't cost s great deal either. The staff is pleasant and helpful. It is clean but it is an older theater. Love going there!

They make going to the movie fun and affordable. The smell of popcorn permeates the air as soon as you're inside the door and the movies are $2. The movies are mostly current. The seats are surprisingly comfortable, Tuesday nights, popcorn, soda and movie, a $1 each, great time to take the family.

Love it! The price is right and the staff is okay. Someone else here mentioned that you get what you pay for, and that is true. The movies come to this theater a little later, and the building is run down. Still, it's a great way to see popular movies at the theater without paying a RIDICULOUS ticket price. It's also a pretty cool place for a date :)

This use to be an inexpensive place where I would take my kids and their friends for movie night. I'm sad to say I will no longer be coming here. They have decided to have to have a new movie showings but the quality and conditions of the place needs to be updated, especially , the parking lot. The cashier with the pigtails made a joke about me with the guest behind me because I was concerned about why the price changed. I hope they consider changing the price back.

I'm disappointed to see that this is no longer the $2 movies. I have seen so many movies here at a discounted price. We need something like that in Greensboro again where people can see the movies that are getting ready to hit dvd in a few weeks. I used to wait to see a movie when it hit this theater just to save money. Maybe I will check out the $1 Tuesdays, but for now, I am holding out for hope that they will return to the price that they used to be with the older selections. We already have enough movie theaters in Greensboro showing the same thing, and I refuse to drive to Kernersville or wherever the other discounted theater is.

Very outdated to say the least. Smells musty and seats terrible to sit in. Just the same now as it was over 25 years ago! Concessions have sky rocketed and people use cell phones and walk in and out during movie. So, that tells me staff doesn't care for improving their low standards. If ur gonna charge more for tickets and conceccions at least upgrade your theaters.

You can't match this price anywhere;price for a movie. Better to go here and watch it on the large Silver Screen instead of paying for it on cable On Demand. There is always a good variety of movies playing for the entire family. Way to go Sedgefield. ~Enjoy!

You cant beat seeing a movie that has only been out for a couple of weeks starting at $3.98. When I go with my daughters we get the movie special which is 2 large sodas and a large popcorn that comes with a free refill for $13. The staff is pretty cool and the bathrooms are always clean when we go. It definitely beats going to a different theater and spending about $50

Overall good theater. Negatives are$1popcorn was only worth 50c due to all the bits and pieces they give you off the bottom they mix in with the good stuff. Might skip the popcorn next time. Also they don't stop people from using their phones during the movie. Sometimes recording the movie.

It’s a nice place to watch a movie for cheap. Although they have only a small number showtimes, it can be hard for those who have a schedule that’s not flexible. There’s also only a small selection of movies compared to a bigger cinema, but if you wait a week or two, they’d probably have the movie for you. Good place to bring big family and enjoy a movie on a quality screen.
