My family and I love this place. We have visited twice to see movies as we pass through Roanoke Rapids on vacation. We stay at the RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads which is not far away. The people are friendly and you really get a small town America feel. We saw Spiderman Homecoming tonight. We will return!

I love taking my daughter here, simply because the theater is smaller, clean and the staff is always super nice. They staff has even at times offered to help me carry my things to my seat, since it usually it is just me and my small daughter, and I'm trying to carry two drinks and popcorn candy etc. Love that we have a local family owned bussiness!

We are very pleased to have this cinema here in RR. I love being able to take my children and husband to a clean, well run place for family time. It may not have everything that a big city theater has but it is so well worth going to. It's clean, the screens are amazing along with the sound and quality. "It" would have been more enjoyable had an employee made some random walk throughs. I understand its a Friday night and the teenagers are out but to have to listen to 2 plus hours of nonstop giggling and talking because of lack of self control is ridiculous.

We checked on line, called the night before and saw the flashing sign in the lobby for the show Wonder and after waiting 20 minutes in line to buy tickets we were told that it was no longer showing. Never again will we consider going to this theater!

My family and I have not been to this theatre in three years but decided to give it another try. I must say I was impressed with the changes. New seats, floor clean, and friendly staff. My son has autism and everything was too loud. They did not have earplugs and I had to go to the car to get a pair but that will change soon. I have ordered and will donate a 200 pair box so other individuals like my son can enjoy this theatre. It will be a nice upgrade to go along with all the changes. Keep up the awesome job! We will be back soon! 3 years ago: The worse experience and will never return. I will forever drive to Rocky Mount or Petersburg to watch a movie.

They refurbished and have wide and comfortable seats and plenty of spaces between rows. You don't have get up to let people out. Plenty of spaces for wheelchairs. Tues. $2.50 for seniors.

Always a joy to go to the theatre in roanoke rapids. We dont have much to do here and our cinema is small but very enjoyable with a great picture and sound and very clean! Management was very rude. There was actually a police officer standing in the back almost the whole time. That was very odd for a children's movie. We spent over $60 and it was a waist of money. The tall man who wears the glasses which I assume was management looked at us as if he could've snatched our hearts out. Very weird. I won't spend another penny here.

Really enjoy this movie theater. This is the 1st time I've been since they put in the new seats and they're very nice. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I use a wheelchair and they assisted me in getting through the doors. Definitely recommend this theater. And they support veterans by giving a military discount.

I will never return to this movie theatre again. Several things wrong with my visit, the first was the fact that it was maybe 50 degrees in the theatre. And the last thing was the fact that the staff was rude to all of the blacks and did not greet them nor did they say goodbye like they did the whites and other races that were coming in and out. The theatre itself is nasty and old and needs to be shut down and another building needs to be built. And employees should understand how to greet each and every customer! Epic Fail!

This theater, since coming under new ownership in the past few years, has been working to upgrade themselves. They've put in new digital projection and sound systems, remodeled their bathrooms, and have generally made a good attempt at bringing the place up to current. However, there are still a few things that need to be addressed - namely, the seating. The seats are pretty old and nasty, many of which are broken. Also, more can be done by staff to keep disruptive guests under control - when people are being loud, on their phones, etc during movies and the staff is made aware of it, they generally don't do anything to rectify the situation. UPDATE: 2 years later, and although the remodeling has continued and the seating replaced, I can honestly say that the problem with disruptive people has gotten FAR worse - to the point of ruining the experience altogether. The last several movies I went to the audience behavior was so bad I nearly left. People who cannot be quiet, cannot sit still, have to be messing with their phones, etc. It's enough to make me want to go elsewhere to see movies. Removing a star, since management seems to not want to do a single thing to enforce any sort of order in their theaters. Seriously. It's bad.

My husband and I went to see War Room, a wonderful movie, as well as Miracle from Heaven. Superman was playing in the next room (War Room) and we had a little difficulty hearing. We are so glad that Roanoke Rapids still has a theatre after all RR has been thru with entertainment so we quite understand the repair needs that are being fixed a little at the time, just like one has to do at their own home. Very pleasantly surprised. After a really bad week I decided to go to the movies for the first time since I moved to this state and I was hesitant when I first pulled up (I've worked in and patronized small theaters before and had bad experiences) but this place was charming, clean, and had deceivingly large auditoriums. There was a noise spillover from the other auditorium, but that's something Ive experienced even in IMAX and mega theaters. Can't complain. I'll definitely be coming back.

Have always had a very nice experience since under new management and new screens are wonderful. Theatre is cleaner and each renovation had been an improvement. The management is very helpful, I know since I had an issue with online ticket purchase over the holidays which was a result of a problem on my end and management corrected the issue for me quickly. Staff is Courteous and helpful. I am looking forward to new seating in future as chairs are not very comfortable.
