I took my two grandsons here to see Dumbo. Overall we had a good experience. You go here to eat while you watch a movie but the food is why this place gets a 4. You will never come here to watch a movie while you eat. Definitely worth the visit for a different experience. Would not be my go to place to see a movie or eat. They do have good prices for early movies that might tip your decision making.

Loved the theater, however the seating absolutely sucked. I'm not there to do computer work. Computer chairs just didn't do it for me. They are not comfortable at all. And my kids hated them as well. Other than seating the service was great and food was good.

I took my 10year old niece on Wed. July 12 to see Despicable Me 3. I planned to use the GoPlaySave buy one get one free coupon. The fine print on it says only valid M-Thurs. The staff there told me that "passes are not good for this movie right now." It's a coupon, not a pass. They didn't budge. So that was frustrating. We ordered the taco salad which us always good but needs a few more tortilla chips to go w it. Large $.50 waters and candy w bill is a nice touch. Waitress was friendly. The movie was SO loud, but good quality. Seats were comfortable and the experience is something fun and different. I recommend honoring the coupons.

Imagine your standard cinema experience, by the time you've sat down with your partner your almost 50 bucks down seeing as some popcorn and a drinks sink 20 at least. What it you could get a full meal each and watch the movie for less? Well its raleighwood , very nicely done food and a great cinema experience in comfy chairs . The second you get a server give them your full order as they are chronically short of staff so if you just order drinks your going to be either ordering or receiving your food while the movies on so get your order in early to avoid issues. As crazy as it sounds avoid the popcorn , it may not be as pricey as the cinema but its microwave popcorn and not great, your money is far better spent on anything else on the menu. Drinks are not refilled , not sure if this is policy or staff but pace yourself as once that glass is gone it ain't getting more. It's always going to be a hit once you know the little quirks, great place.

The Raleighwood Cinema Grill is a long-standing underdog of the Raleigh theater scene. The food is pretty standard bar fare, but the location is good, the tickets are cheap, and they show first-run movies (though only two at a time). If you're looking for a nearby dinner-and-a-movie option, this is a good pick.

The movie, The Lion King was awesome, I order an apple dessert that was not good. It did not taste fresh and it appeared to be just a piece of dough with a few chopped pieces apples drenched in honey. I've always been very pleased with the food at this theater, but I was not pleased with this dessert

First time visitor. Ticket prices are great. Only $4 if you come before 12 however the service is very slow and the food prices are high. Ticket counter slow and it wasn’t that busy on a Sunday morning. Waited 30 mins for a server to take our order even though we were there before several other families there is no logistics in how they take orders. Also our server wasn’t friendly by the time he got to us he had no customer service left. Although it’s a nice alternative to the normal theaters it’s not my cup of tea. Way too slow for my liking compared to other cinema grilles. Unorganized to sum it up but you get what you pay for.

We had a fantastic evening. Arrived 5 mins after Infinity started. They exchanged our tickets for ten and we spent the time going to dinner in the plaza. There didn't seem to be a real reason to arrive early other than the tables being free for all and 2nd row are group chairs around small table and we didn't feel we could share. Our order came out (wings and beer) before the movie started. Waiter was amazing and discrete unlike at certain other places . Screen and sound were perfect for the size of the room. Wish it wasn't an hr from Sanford. They should build one down south where they have no cinema grills other than the one in Holly springs that is 40 minutes away. Bought it tickets online. No refunds ,so we had to call and ask for exchange but only got a really long voicemail. Worth it. Amazing prices. Laid back. Non discriminatory, mixed crowd, fun plaza. Helpful staff. 8.50 ticket for standard premiers.

My wife and I came Sunday Night @ 7:30 4-29-18 to watch Infinity Wars... My wife and I both ordered Chicken, me a Sandwich and her the Tenders. Now...we all know the food really isnt good here but we figured we try it one more time. ....My wife received FOOD POISONING and at 1am my wife was on the way to the hospital. It was determined food poisioning...and she is just now feeling a little better. Oh...and Did I mention my wife is PREGNANT!!!!!????? It's 11am on 5-1-18 and I am currently standing outside of a Closed Raleighwood looking for Ownership and Managers. I will be back. I do not recommended the food for ANYONE...ESPECIALLY when it's a packed house with teenagers trying to cook food! The movies are good...not the food.

Went on a Monday, had the place practically to ourselves. On price, it's hard to beat. Tickets and beer/wine were very affordable. Service was friendly and polite. The food was okay - not excellent but in line with expectations and price. Menu is a little too large I think; variety is nice but it might be better to focus on a few of the items, it's almost overwhelming. Raleighwood offers a lot of things that bigger chains don't, and I hope they stay busy; I'm rooting for this local business to continue to succeed.

I will never return! A lady yelled at me on the phone. When I spoke with the manage he seemed as though he could care less. I had a birthday coupon for a free Black Panther dessert and they didn't honor it. Lastly, instead of the waitress giving me change she kept the money. Worst experience ever!

How much is a beer at Regal? That right, they don't sell beer! How about a pizza? Ugh, they don't sell pizza either. Okay okay, how much for chicken wings? Root beer float? Burger? Chicken fingers? So much more! Oh how about popcorn? Well popcorn at Regal a good $5+ vs Raleighwood's special is like $.50 with other purchase on specific day

I love this movie theater with its big comfy seats. It's the best place to go with little ones. Whenever we go the bigger cousins sit together at the bar and the littler ones sit back at the tables with the moms. We are all still together and everyone is comfortable. The food is reasonably priced and the movie tickets are cheaper than the average movie ticket. You have to have cash for the movie tickets but not the food. The burgers are excellent!!!

Love this place! Chairs finally got an upgrade, but no longer recline. I guess it's for the best. Would like to see the food menu updated. It's been pretty much the same for a few years now. Would be nice to have more "eat in the dark" friendly food. All in all, this place rocks. Dinner and a movie in one spot AND they have new showings too! Awesome! Get the key lime pie! It's enough for two and is amazingly good!

I purchased a Food and drinks Groupon to see the Grinch and have lunch with my family. There were four waiters for about 100 people. The food was served closer to the end of the movie; chicken was not cooked properly and the pizza was cold. All microwaved food. We were there more than 30 minutes before start, still got the food at the very end. Zero logistics there. They did not serve us the dessert, saying that the ice cream maker was broken and there was no time to bring out the pineapple cake without ice cream. My child was very upset. The room was so cold that we had to keep our coats on. I gave one star, because there is no lower than that. I wasted our money and Sunday afternoon at this place. It was our first and last time visit. Never again.

Old, classic feel. They play cartoons Before the previews, which is nice because if you're ordering food you need to get there early. It's perfect for groups, parties, families etc. It's not like the modern theaters where you recline and maybe put your feet up but the chairs are still comfortable. It's regular bar food but decent. We got the loaded nachos to share (lots to go around),my son got a cheeseburger, and we also shared chicken tenders. The only thing I didn't agree with was the .50 cent waters. The little boy at the ticket booth is the manager's son and he's really sweet and keeps a professional demeanor. So cute. Will definitely go back.

Unique "dine while you watch" theater showing first run (or slightly older) films. The menu is mostly bar food, but the desserts are really unique and delicious. Good for families or dates. They also offer special events, like viewing parties for sports or award shows.

So this is a hidden gem. As cinebistro is a Movie theater with food, Raleighwood cinema grill is a more like a restaurant with a theater. Full menu with family friendly favorites. They also serve beer and wine here. They tickets were $8 per person and the setup in the theater was more like a comedy show. You sit in office chairs and some seats were behind a long desk. Great experience. check it out and get there 20/30 minutes before the the time of the movie to order your food and eat.

Great little theater. Office style leather chairs where you can eat while you watch. They have two screens, but the movies are always new - usually something for the kids. My daughter loves it because she doesn't have to sit still like a regular theater. Food is not bad - about what you'd pay in a normal restaurant. The menu is available online, so look before you go, and you'll know what to expect.

I don't get out often lol but this place has always looked fun. But the reviews honestly scared me. Food poisoning, bad service, rude waiters but doggone they were wrong. I'm sorry for them but it was great. The chairs were 10x comfier then normal theater chairs. The waiters and chefs were amazing. As soon as they would come up they'd make a joke or two and he said if our dessert takes to long he'd personally make it. We didn't have an actual meal, just dessert. When we saw it come out i thought it was weird, paper plates and plastic spoons but the chef made it work, the food was presented beautifully (I recommend the cheesecake

If you want to experience poor customer service, then come here. I called the number that Google provided because I needed to speak to the manager, Josh, prior to arrival. I asked Gene to transfer me and she began yelling. I couldn’t believe they allowed someone like that to be working there. When I arrived, the manager left for an hour, so by the time he returned I was already enjoying the movie. When the waitress, Kelsy (I believe), came, I gave her the print out from the enewletter. Since it’s my birthday month, they give you a free milkshake, included was the Black Panther shake. When the manager returned from wherever he was, he state that I couldn’t get any milkshake due to not clicking on the option. He clearly couldn’t read because it stated that I had to print the voucher, which I did. The last event that made me decide to leave was the waitress never brought my change back. I had to inform another staff member, which she retrieved it for me. STEALING and not honor your own company will never be accepted, just as I will never return.

What a fun concept for a theater. We went after lunch so we got desserts (which were yummy), and drinks. The seats were more comfortable than expected and allowed for the kids (6 and 8) to move around a bit.

This place has a pretty cool concept. You can order food/drinks to enjoy while you watch your movie. You get a table and comfy swivel chairs. We took our kids to see Mary Poppins: The Return. They loved it, the price was awesome, too.

My first time to Raleighwood. Sad for me. I should have gone years ago. It's a cool place. Comfortable seats. Sound system was good. Not too loud, we could still talk to each other. I only ordered popcorn, but there is a nice selection on the menu. The popcorn came with a little container of popcorn flavored jelly beans. Very cute! Good customer service. Great to not have to get up to get another beer! It's like being in your living room, if you had a giant home theater room in your house!

Loved going to this theater! It’s a little off beat, but it made for a fun night out. Don’t be put off by the sea of office chairs. They’re pretty comfortable. They don’t lean back, so I imagine longer movies could get uncomfortable. But we were fine for 1:45. The food is pretty good and portions are great for the price. Just warning you that the “fresh dough pizza” that they advertised on the menu tasted frozen. All the appetizers were good but it’s odd when popcorn comes out after the apps. Anyway, the sundaes are yummy too. You really can’t beat these prices, the service is friendly, and it’s a unique & nostalgic vibe!

An absolute GEM! Ticket prices can’t be beat. Food is enjoyable. Check the menu out. It’s not gourmet food, but for the prices, way beyond the value you would get at a regular movie theatre. And beer! Who doesn’t want to enjoy a pitcher of beer and some fried foods while watching a movie!?! The staff! They are awesome, attentive, and actually understand how to provide customer service. We had a great time seeing Star Wars. It was out first time at Raleighwood and we decided that is our spot from now on.

Raleighwood is a great experience and a great value! You're right at the perfect distance from the screen -- and you can eat and drink while you're there! The food is good -- not great, but reasonable considering that all of the dishes are made at exactly the same time -- and there's enough light to see, but not so much that it's distracting. I've never felt "robbed"; I get exactly what I expected.

The food was horrible absolutely tasteless...the cheese fries with bacon bits had no taste, the taco salad had no meat mainly lettuce, the beans in it were cold like out of a can...the sweet tea was good. They sold every seat in the theater so in the walkway aisle they had chairs in the way TACKY!! I paid cash and didnt get my change she never came back with my 71 cent. We drove 1hr 30mins to get here. The only reason we went here is because Cinebistro where i wanted to go was sold out this place was last resort and i see why.

This was my first time there and it was a pretty cozy place. Not a big fan of the menu for lunch/dinner but its decent enough. Definitely going back.
