Pleasantly surprised! Single theater venue with that genuine hometown feel. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Nice, clean, and comfy seating. We saw Sherlock Gnomes (4/6/18) with two adults, and two boys 7 & 3 ... No issues, all great seats in the house.

It was a very nice and quaint theater! The seats were comfortable, you had a good view, and it felt cozy. The two ushers were very polite and helpful. Both the theater price and the soda and popcorn were very reasonable. It was a great visit! As a side note, the theater had a great idea with the bucket of popcorn, which fit into the cup holders.

People nice, affordable, theater nice. Since the smoothie machine wasn't working before the movie, the wonderful owner ran out to my car after wards and gave me a free smoothie, what a nice surprise! I highly recommend the theater and the movie Jurassic World 2.

Great local theater. It's a small theater but it has a great picture and sound as well I think they upgraded everything which is nice and they upgraded there seats which is nice they kind of lean back a little. The snacks and movie prices are cheaper than the rest of the movie theaters around us. The only bad thing is they don't show 3d which isn't that big a deal to me but sometimes there's a movie that would look awesome in 3d. I would recommend stopping in to see a movie here and it's a historical building as well I believe.

Nice people. Clean theater. Very nice seats. However the seats are to tall. Even with booster seat my kids had a hard time seeing the movie over the seats.

Love this theatre! The seating is perfect as it has stadium type seats so u can see no matter where your sitting and the actors young and old are fantastic. Will definately be coming every month to see a new play.

Went last night to see Paul, Disciple of Christ. This theater does everything possible wrong. First, light control was so bad it ruined whatever contrast the projector had and rendered blacks in a bright shade of gray. Since this movie has a lot of dark scenes, they were ruined completely. Second, the alignment of the projector image to the screen was terrible! Over scanning the top by about a foot, and not hitting the screen at that bottom left by a couple of inches. Third, the velvet (or whatever it was) was haphazardly installed and interfered with the picture at the top. Fourth, there were no aisles, and it appeared there was no way to safely exit the theater in an emergency. And finally, the sound was also bad. I will never return to this “theater” again. IMO it should be closed.

We frequently visit Murphy, NC and finally decided to stop and see a movie at the Henn Theater. Smaller than usual, this older theater is full of small town charm. Prices are reasonable and everyone was super friendly. It is a bit dated, but the seats were comfy.

Love this theater. It's small and quaint and movie prices are the lowest I've seen for current run films. 2 screens, about 40 seats per theater, comfortable older seating. Definitely worth checking out!

This is a neat, old theatre. Understandably, screens are smaller than newer theaters. The screen was a little narrower than the image being projected, but it didn’t really impact my experience. I did occasionally notice light images on the dark fabric on the wall perpendicular to the screen on the left. But it was very subtle. Seats appeared to be new and were very comfortable.

I love the Henn,I grew up in Murphy and weekends we couldn't wait to hopefully get dropped off at the Henn by my older sister and her boyfriend, so we could watch a movie and socialize. Still go there now,love the way it's been remodel and clean,nice people.

Saw Jurassic Park Trilogy with my mother watched it in the upstairs theater my mother has bad knee she didn't like it but it was very spacious and very roomy I liked it well actually it's kind of small upstairs but anyways it was worth it

Very nice small venue. Reminded me of my old hometown theatre that sadly was closed in favor of a new multi screen monstrosity. Very reasonable pricing on both tickets and concessions. Comfortable theatre seating, good sound system and awesome climate control! Highly recommend!!
