It’s a sweet, awesome, single screen theater with a balcony. Has great prices that don’t break the bank. Runs a theme movie with the seasons and what new movies they get. Also they screen the classics. They really are an awesome outfit. Inside snack and popcorn prices are great! Free drink and popcorn refills are an excellent bonus.

Good classy cinema. You get exactly what you pay for. The shows in this cinema are usually later than the original showing date but if you're not in a hurry to watch a movie or if you want to watch a movie again this is the best place to go.

For the price I'm paying for the tickets, I don't expect the theater to be top notch. I love being able to come in with $20 and get 2 tickets, popcorn, drinks and still have money left. At any other theater you're paying double for all that.

My family and I went to a movie at this theater and were treated extraordinarily rudely. We were accused of stealing and escorted from the theater because my husband picked up some money he stepped on as we were walking in. We were unaware that this was a cash only business, and were advised at the ticket window that there was an ATM in the lobby. Because the show was about to begin, I used the ATM ($3.00 fee), gave my husband the cash, and he paid for our tickets. We found seats, and about 10 minutes into the movie the window attendant came to my husband and asked that my family step outside. We were accused of stealing money and using that money to pay for our tickets. We were not rude or defensive, just surprised. My husband volunteered that he had found some money on the floor and handed that money to the attendant. I showed him the receipt from the ATM where I had withdrawn the cash used to purchase our tickets. He still insisted that he had seen us stealing on camera. We were detained in the lobby for far longer than was necessary to resolve the situation. He spoke with someone on the phone and then allowed that we could return to the movie. There was no apology or acknowledgement that the found money ($20) had been turned in. I did not feel comfortable staying and asked for my money back so we could leave. To make a bad situation worse, as I was leaving the attendant insisted that he had done nothing wrong and stated once again that we had been caught stealing. I am truly taken aback.. I have never been treated so disrespectfully and rudely. I have never been to this theater before, and I will surely never return. I hope his behavior was not racially motivated (we were one of only 3 groups of people of color), but would love to know if others have had similar bad experiences at this location.

I'm appalled that the Cinema owner took video footage of patrons as we emptied the theater into the lobby yesterday afternoon -- without our consent! This surprise video-recording was especially thoughtless after such an emotionally evocative film. I don't think that I'll be going back to the Graham Cinema.

I love the movie selection here. Almost always offer two movies, one in day one at night. Great cheap price for the movie and for the food. Can't believe they offer refills on drink and Pop corn considering how inexpensive they are. Old theater but seats have been redone. Well kept. My only complaint is that the downstairs ladies bathroom is tiny! I really appreciate this place!

Tickets are cheap but the theater itself is not all that, you could see people's heads from where you're seated, to avoid this I had to move my seats like 2 times...got to the upper deck by the railing guard. Well the best thing about this cinema is that they give you bottomless drink ( gotta buy the first drink of course, duh) & FREE flow of popcorn yay

I've been going to The Graham Cinema for many years. I am a grandmother now and have been going here since middle school. I just love this place!! Very nice staff FREE refills on popcorn & sodas Great 'Ol Time atmosphere Only $3 - $4 a person!!!!!! Where can you go and do anything for that price? And so what if you have to have cash Graham would have nothing going on in the afternoons without it. I hope The Graham Cinema stays here forever! Love you guys and thanks for all you do for the community ❤

I always love going here. My favorite time to go is Halloween midnight movies. I would be one happy girl if they showed horror or retro midnight movies more often through the year! Great prices on movies and snacks. If you want to make sure you see something on the big screen before it hits DVD, then this is the best way. Inexpensive and plenty of seating, with two levels of seating. I'm glad they're still around!

Love everything about it. Everything is cheap and refills on popcorn and drinks are free. The seats are highback and armrests on both sides have drink holders. Adults $4 Kids $3 Drinks $2 Popcorn $3. They also have balcony seating.. My wife and I spent a total of $15 for tickets 2 drinks and a popcorn. Can't beat that!

Cool old-school place with only one theater and show per day (multiple times a day but same movie). Best part about it is the $3 bag of refillable popcorn (as much as you want while there) and $2 refillable soda!

This place is so awesome. Super friendly employee's. Been going here for years. Locally owned. Very very nice price on the movies and snacks. All you can eat popcorn and free refills on drinks which saves you a ton of money. This place has been here since i was a young kid and glad it's still here. Definitely a diamond of Graham and more importantly an asset of Graham. Very nostalgic feel. I definitely recommend this place for the whole family, grandma & grandpa, yourself, a date or whoever. It's a great place for everyone!

Great small town movie theater that has managed to survive by being the discount theater to the major chains. They tend to get movies fairly quickly after release, but they don't stick around long either. Probably in 2016 or early 2017 they put in some new seats that are much nicer. The theater also has a second floor balcony - very unique.

I love that Trailhead Church meets at the cinema on Sunday mornings at 9:15 and 11. They have an awesome, Spirit-filled live worship band that preps everyone for passionate preaching and teaching from the word of God. The pastors and congregation love the Lord, and one another, and all visitors are appreciated and made to feel welcome and even receive a free gift!

The theater itself was great. Loved their prices, okay selection of goodies. Movies look great but reason for two stars if every time I would go, at least one of the employees there was rude. For no reason too. I’ve heard a lot of the employees there talk about really unprofessional things. It is a bit weird when you’re in line just trying to get your snacks. My boyfriend decided to take my younger brother here for his birthday. They wanted to sit in their upstairs balcony but owners wouldn’t let him because my boyfriend was apparently “underage”, when clearly he wasn’t. He offered an ID to the owner, he refused and demanded they sat downstairs and then continued to come up with more reasons as to why he can’t sit up there. I would love to go again, but the staff there is the reason I will pass.

My husband and I went to the window and were treated horribly. Very poor customer service. All I did was go to the window and ask “how are you” before attempting to buy my tickets and the guy in the window (bald middle aged man; maybe around 50 or so) didn’t even reply. He just kind of looked at me like “what do you want”. I asked if the theater takes cards and he replied that they do not which is fine. I was going to use the ATM inside. However the ATM stated error after taking a few minutes to process my request. I definitely have money in my bank account. While I was waiting on the ATM, my husband reported the inappropriate behavior of the window attendant to the man at the counter inside and the employee did not seem to care. I know there’s probably nothing that can be done, but no apology or anything at all was offered. We did not attempt the ATM again and left. We will not be back.

I worked at the theater back in the 60's and it was quite an experience.Saturdays were packed with children and triple features while their parents shopped or did whatever they did until from 9 am to 4 pm.Sometimes acts would start the shows.The Three Stooges appeared once as did the Dead End Kids.It was non stop screaming for 7 hrs.The popcorn was the best and the popcorn cooker was right outside on the street.Cars would pull up as well as passersby and buy 10 boxes at a time.10 cents a box at the time.On a Sat 2000 to 3000 boxes of popcorn would be sold.Downtown was packed with shoppers back in those days and the theater was a glorious place.I hope it returns to its glory days.It was a marvelous space and deserves to be restored.

This is an old-fasioned theater in the middle of downtown Graham. They have 1 screen, so 1 movie at a time (two on weekends, one family matinee movie, and an adult option later in the evening). Kids tickets are $3 and $4 for adults. A large bucket of popcorn is reasonably priced and gets free do-it-yourself refills in the lobby. Cash only, so no credit cards but if I recall correctly they have an ATM in the lobby

Great budget friendly place to catch a movie. They play movies that have been released several weeks prior elsewhere, but at a much more family friendly price. Our family of four can catch a movie here and enjoy all the popcorn.(free refills on all sizes) and drinks (also free refills) for a fraction of the cost of watching the same movie at another nearby theater. They have a balcony, but if you have smaller children, or are short, I would reccomend sitting on the lower level. It also gets pretty warm on the balcony level for us warm natured folks. Overall a great value and Graham wouldn't be the same without it!

Great little theatre. Extremely roomy and comfortable seating. Can't beat the prices. Only one COMPLAINT. Don't expect any personality from the ticket booth. When I purchased tickets for my children and me last week, he stuck his hand out of the opening and impatiently wiggled his fingers while I was getting my money together. He will not speak to you and will not smile. Once you actually get in the building, it's a great experience!

It was legitimately really hot outside today, but the balcony area got super uncomfortable about an hour into the movie. I know it's a very old building, though. I noticed only 2/4 ceiling fans were functional, this may have been part of the issue. Just consider this if you decide to go on a really hot evening.

The cinema was built in 1928. The cinema is owned and operated by a family who were born and raised in Graham. The cinema is a step back in time to a family friendly environment. The inside of the cinema has seen some remodeling. Admission is only $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 12 years of age. The popcorn is delicious, and you can come back for free refills of popcorn and soda. I drive from Pittsboro almost every Friday evening just to go to the Graham cinema.

I grew up going to the "sticky floor cinema". I can remember watching finding nemo when I was 6 or 7, sitting on the front row. I love that for the most part, it still looks the same and it holds so many good memories. I take my children there now. Both of their first movies were watched at the Graham Cinema with a paper towel full of popcorn between their legs. They are always happy to see you coming and the experiences are always wonderful. The new chairs are pretty nice too!

I grew up sitting in the balcony watching movies with my grandfather. It's a small theater but it has a cozy feel to it. I take my son for some father son time and he absolutely loves it. Easy to walk to since it is downtown, great place to take the children.
