Extremely overpriced like most theatres, seating is not great compared to the seats you find at most modern theatres the staff are nice and good service though.

While visiting the mountains. Don't let a rainy day get you down. Just 20 minutes from lake lure or chimney Rock is Epic Theater in Hendersonville. Like many theaters there are lots of movies, overpriced popcorn and a bit worn but comfortable interior. But it's better than being stuck in a hotel during the rain.

Saw the New Halloween, not from this area but was surprised that 10/28/18 it was already in their smaller theater, and with Halloween a few days away the seating was small & cramped however it was clean and staff was friendly.

Love that they have 12 Theaters so you have a wide variety of choices for the movies usually two people can get into the movies for somewhere around $15 we usually go about 4 p.m. or 2 p.m. for the early show when we don't like to stay out very late and then we usually go out to eat afterwards cuz it's not like we can afford the concession food that's for sure $15 for a popcorn $6 for a slushie not counting the rest of their prices I don't think so not in this lifetime I would rather wait and go out to eat after the movies

I really enjoy the theater cause it's usually never overly crowded and the popcorn is on point. However, shameful that employees only make 7.25 and basically have to work every holiday. Maybe they would be more enthusiastic if they got paid more

I absolutely love this theater. I live in Chimney Rock, so it is a little bit of a hike for me to get to any theater, but I have always been greeted with kindness at this theater. The food is good and the popcorn is fresh. It is very clean and the bathrooms are spotless. Comfortable seats too! Love this theater!

For a small town theater there is a lot of concern and hard work that happens there. Always clean, team members always smiling, just a nice lil theater. Popcorn is always fresh as well. I look forward to my next visit.

The concession prices are out the roof way too expensive. $ 21.00 for two small sodas and two small ( cold ) popcorn. People on fixed income cannot afford these prices. Hendersonville is filled with senior citizens cut us a break . The theatre experience was very nice.

I didn't even want to leave 1 star. My family and I love going to the movies. This theatre has been our go to for many years. Unfortunately, the last 3 movies we've gone to see, our visits have been terrible. The lights have been way to bright, the sound has been low and not theatre quality. My daughter got sick from the popcorn on two of the visits, we knew better the 3rd time. And watch out for bugs.

This is a good theater to go to. It is older but very clean and well kept. The prices are like all theaters, insane!!! For concessions but great for the movies. They play all the new stuff with plenty of room for seating. They even have special old time movie nights!!! They have rooms for parties and a small arcade. They are in a great location also.

It's OK. No drinks for kids like juiceboxes or milk, just slushes. It could be a better experience if they tightened up. Employees less than enthusiastic and there's almost always some avoidable error happening with us or some other family when we go there.

I don't have a problem going to the movies and spending the outrageous sum they're charging for drinks, popcorn and candy, I'm over it!! I can't handle it when my shoes are sticking to the floor in the theater in the dark to some unidentifiable substance aahhhhhhhh

Me and my Gf went to see the darkest minds tonight everything was wonderful all though the drink was overpriced and there was a group of teenage girls that just wouldn't shut up and was taking pictures with the flash on interrupting us if it wasn't for them the theater would have got 5 stars

Can't rate food. Don't go to the movies to eat! Doesn't bother me to open pocketbook. We live in a different world. If I report something needs to fixed; ie, door on bathroom stall. It is fixed. Glad they offer variety of current movies and don't have to go out of town.

Nice little movie theater complex. We go here regularly because of its ease of access compared to the big Regal at Biltmore Square. Friendly, helpful staff that still cares, ample parking right out front. Areas and theaters are overall clean, plenty of spacious, clean restrooms, good service at concessions. (It would be nice, if they offered some non-sugar based snacks other than popcorn.) They are very current in their movie offerings, but they don't as yet have online seat reservation capability or big recliner seating.

I'd give it a Five, but we were actually having to fan ourselves in the theater. Need to fix the AC... the area outside the theater was cool, but not in the theater. We told an employee, so hopefully it gets fixed. Staff are friendly.

Epic was epic this summer with $1 movies each week I was able to take my grandson to several which he enjoyed. That also took up time in what could have an otherwise boring day so woohoo I love them!!! And the movies where current so therefore attention was maintained so I love them. went to see Malficent today. Right at the climax a red line came through the screen and they couldnt fix it. we all demanded our money back. This also happened when we watched Lion King there, but it was only brief during that movie. They obviously need new equipment. Also they didnt have hot dogs.

I have been going to Epic since they have opened. Honestly, it's an okay theater. It's pretty clean and the screens aren't bad. The seating is kinda old, and some chairs are blocked off to not be used. Could use some renovations.

Tuesday is "cheapTuesday". Tickets are $6.00 for everyone except for Sony films. The theatre was not crowded and the popcorn fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. Good selection of movies. We need to support the local movie theatre so they continue to show movies on the big screen.

Whenever I'm in the mood for a movie and don't want to spend a lot, this is my favorite. Epic is a regular theater with no frills but offers the lowest ticket/concession prices for newly released films in the area. That paired with it's convenient location to Henderson County make it a good choice.

The reason for the bad review is we were in #9 for the 7:20 Fast and Furious Movie..and it had not even been cleaned!! There was a nacho tray sitting on 1 arm rest and a coke on a different one. The 2 ticket people were nice but the theater was NOT cleaned!! And to make matters worse I had to go and ask them 2 turn the lights off..clearly 1 shouldn't watch a movie during the week!!

Grateful they offered the Grateful Dead 1991 Movie-Show. However the sound quality at the theater sucked. You could not hear the concert. Feel the music as you might with any other movie there. Poor sound quality at this theater. WE asked them twice to turn it up as suggested on the golden road. If they did you still were listening to a sound that was a tad above a whisper. WE went outside the doors to make sure it wasn's heard in the hallway and you could hear sounds from the surrounding theater halls just not where the Grateful Dead show was playing. Would not go back to see/hear a show there again unless they stated they would solve the problem.

Pretty clean and nice deals if you have an Epic card. The only thing I REALLY don't like is the ticket takers make you open your purse to look through it. SERIOUSLY??? I'm 62 years old and NO other theaters do this.

I love the movie and sound quality, however, the concession prices are way too high, and what ticks me off is that the staff turn the lights on right before the credits. That ruins the movie, because they sometimes have parts that give the spectators an idea of what the next movie will be like.

This is a very decent little theater. The rooms are relatively small and intimate. The chairs are comfortable, and the staff is polite. I don't really like being checked when I walk in to the lobby, but I can't really blame them for doing so in this day and age. This is a very decent little theater. I'd recommend it to anyone in the area that is looking to catch a flick.

My primary reason for liking this theater is that there is no reserved seating. No lines of people trying to make up their minds on which seat to select. they do need better staffing during peak times as the ticket lines are sometimes too long to put up with. Also need more people behind the counter before the movies. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Sadly, the restrooms are equipped with air dryers not paper towels. Not good at all.They always have first run movies.
