Went to see Glass on a Monday night. 10pm show, theater mostly empty which I tend to enjoy. Reserved seating is available with comfortable recliners. I usually like the top row below the projector, but when I reclined, the safety railing created a bar across the bottom of the screen so I moved to a seat below. Much better but on a feature movie on a weekend, such a move may not be possible. Popcorn was mostly fresh but the poppers had been shut down for the last showing. Not a complaint, just an observation. Ayrsley has a nice assortment of dining and entertainment options. There is a mix of hotels, businesses, and residences which can make this more than just a place to visit. I like the theater and parking was a breeze, but on a Friday/Saturday night with all businesses humming, parking COULD be difficult. I have experienced that at Wild Wing Cafe. Again plan ahead and get where you are going early

My favorite theater in Charlotte. Has the small town, old school movie theater feel. Reasonably priced tickets and very reasonably priced concessions. The butter machines always work and they offer a variety of complimentary flavor seasonings for the popcorn. The theaters are always clean and the seats are comfortable. Customer service is always great.

Has the up to date amenities that one would expect of cinema that is current with the times. Ticket purchase can be made online and in person, and assigned seating allows you to choose where you'll sit before you go to ensure you're happy with your seats during the film. Leather recliners offer a more comfortable movie watching experience, all of the regular snack foods and beverages you'd expect to find are available.

EXTREMELY sketchy. Lots of high-school kids running around unchecked, running in and out of different movies. Cops were patrolling inside the whole time, it felt like this was to deter anything from happening. Did not feel safe and relaxing, and will not be returning.

Although they do have some roaches I have noticed, which really disgusted me, and they do need to clean the theater rooms better. But other than that, great place, I love it.

Went to the Ayrsley Theater to see detective Pikachu. First time coming to the theater. When we walked in the theater was a mess, popcorn everywhere very messy. As for the auditorium was fairly clean, the seats were fairly comfortable and they reclined. Mainly the reason for the 2 stars were that the air in the auditorium wasn’t on the entire movie making it excruciatingly hot and being 9 months pregnant making it hard to breathe. It wasn’t a very pleasant experience since I hadn’t been to the movies since I was a kid. It was so hot in the auditorium that my legs were sticking to the seat and eventually sweating as were my neck and back. If the air conditioning was on I probably would of had a better experience.

We came to see Madea funeral but arrived late due to traffic so we settled for Captain Marvel. We loved the theater. The online price said $5.00 but it was $6.44 at 4:45pm which is still better than SC prices. The recliner seats were a dream. The combo specials were great too.

Haven't been to Arsley in a few years. Love the recliners, the price of the matinee($6) the popcorn combo 2 large drinks & 1 large popcorn both refillable (11.50) Only down fall today (reason for 4 stars and not 5) was the customer service right off the bat the ticket booth attendee was very inpatient and then the employee behind the counter acted as though it was killing him to speak with us while ordering from the concession. Planning on making this an every other weekend thing for me & my husband. Fingers crossed the custimer service will improve quickly.

Pleasantly surprised by this movie theater because it’s not a regular mainstream theater. I am use to going to AMC but realized on this day that this theater is cheaper and offers the same snacks, reclining seats and everything else that an AMC theater has. Will definitely return.

Personally this movie theater has been a loved go to for any movie coming out we all were excited for as children and early adulthood.. although the theater has had a couple draw backs as far as the experience.. 1: staff isn't as friendly and rush people through willy nilly. 2: since the renovation we dont have any good reason to go to the movies anymore.. all through time we have gotten there super early to get good seats and get snacks/drinks etc.. NOW recently they have added price bumps to get seats you want and reserve seats that's good for business and for the newer generation that feels entitled to whatever they want but for older generations its pushy and undesirable to pay more for tickets and not sit where you want. prices in the theater have also grown exponentially since we all have been attending over the years.. we will be changing theaters for our next viewings

The people in the theater is nothing like home (Charleston) way more lively...entertaining that's for sure. The staff was more business oriented. Wanted to quickly get customers served. Understanding that it was busy...I thought that could be why cleanliness was a bit ignored. (In the lobby) But after the movie the lobby looked we exactly the same. So I had to drop one star.

Here's what you came to find out: ayrsley has reclining assigned seats that you can purchase ahead of time, popcorn you can butter and salt yourself (I recommend the nacho cheese flavor), and drink machines so you can refill. Would definitely recommend it. I think the prices are reasonable, especially if you come for a matinee, but even regular price. And the concessions aren't crazy either. Popcorn is tasty and not stale. It's important to have priorities guys! I will say that I have had a lot of trouble with their website and movie times in the past. Now that you can purchase assigned seating ahead of time on Fandango, it's easier, but still when I hit the Google link it took me to November 2018 movie times and the Fandango website refused to correct! I had to go to the movie I wanted, search my area, then find the times for this theater. I say this mostly so they might be aware of it, but it is a minor thing. They are still my preferred theater!

Loved how close this theater was to our hotel. Great concession stand and they even provide free flavored seasoning for the popcorn. You have to buy your tickets at the concession stand and there wasn't a sign. We figured it out pretty quickly though. Laid back atmosphere

This is one of my favorite movies in my area. One thing that they need to work on is keeping the countertops clean and the floor from being so sticky. Give your bathrooms some attention on a regular basis. I know you have movies after movies. But you also have employees standing around talking or on there phone. Be mindful of your workplace. It should be a team effort for all. And mangers need to be aware of this at all times. Ayrsley is better than the movie theaters in my hometown. But I chose to drive to Charlotte

Good prices - all shows before 5 PM are $6. Theater we were in was redone so it has the reclining seats. Medium popcorn and two bottles of water was $13, so not too bad. Screens and sound were good - standard for theaters today. Had a good crew at concessions, quick and efficient. Can out your own flavored salt on popcorn, and they have a decent selection at concessions.

If you're lucky enough that your schedule allows for a weekday matinee, be careful in the summer. Unruly kids groups with few chaperones can show up and make your experience less-than-pleasant.

Clearly designed without certain obvious amenities in mind (for example, drink lids are fifteen feet from straws, which are stored on a flimsy card table without working space to set down a cup or purchased items.) Seating is adequate but not stellar. Overall simply a deeply average experience.

We had a good theater experience here. The seats are very comfy. I wish they served alcohol. I think I may just be at a point in my life where I wish everybody served alcohol. The sound a movie quality were what you'd expect. No problems at all. There are lots of restaurants nearby if you want to have dinner and a movie.

Matinee prices are great. Good selection of movies. Even have a few weeks in October that they show vintage horror films with decorations in the theaters. New renovation was needed and added adjustable and comfortable seats. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the drink machine. Has flavor shots for the drinks but they are never in stock or are broken.

This theater is 100% the best option in Charlotte. They have the really comfortable reclining seats & let you pick your own seats. That's not the best part though! All movies before 5pm any day of the week are $6/ per person; you seriously cannot beat that price! I have a 6 year old who wants to see every cartoon and superhero movie that comes out. At $6 I can handle taking him to as a many films as he wants to see. The concessions are also really priced well and I find the staff to be helpful.

This is my favorite movie theater, I have an obsession with this place. I almost never see a movie anywhere else unless I’m attending a screening. I always bypass the lines using fandango, an option I highly recommend because it’s easy to pick seats ahead of time to beat the rush. Also, they let you shake your own flavor on your popcorn, other places don’t even have it. It’s better than butter & it better be especially since you won’t be getting any here.

It's evident that the later it gets the worse the condition of the theater gets, the restrooms smelled like urine and there was popcorn all over the seats.
