This place has been done up nice with heated reclining assigned seating and some tasty food beyond the usual popcorn and nachos. There is also a full service bar and Coke Freestyle which is a big draw for me.

We visited this theater to watch the new Hobbs and Shaw movie this weekend. The movie theater has been renovated with new heated recliner seats. The seats weren’t very comfortable. The heater kept getting turned on accidentally. This movie theater doesn’t have servers. The gentleman working the counter was very kind. Popcorn and drinks were good. Love that they have a butter station.

The few times I've been there were long lines at the concession stand, which is where you also buy your tickets. I end up standing in a concession line with a bunch of hungry people just to get a ticket printed for my online reservation. -1 Star: I wish they had a dedicated ticket check in place or some way to do it yourself. I reserve my tickets online and get to the theater 10 to 15 minutes after the show time to miss the previews but I end up getting bottle-necked at the snack bar, which sucks. -1 Star: Also the last couple times I went, the men's bathroom was completely out of paper towels. Not sure how often you guys check the bathrooms but you should do it more around 4pm ;) Overall it's much nicer than the Carmike owned Park place 16 and I'm glad that it survived Park West coming in across the street but there's definitely room for improvement.

Okay, so I was prancing around the theater after meeting my Asian girlfriend at Dollar tree and i noticed that someone was drinking pineapple juice on a skateboard. Not cool. I'm truly offended as my dad is a CEO of pineapple juice all across Nicaragua to Panama. Why can't I have popcorn with rat meat? Do you not consume it? My mother gives me rat for dinner. I am offended.

They renovated the place recently and it looks great. Stadium seating with comfortable lazy chairs where you can put your feet up. They have a bar where you can get drinks and bring those in or sit in the common area before the show. The food is okay; pretzel bites, hot dogs and quick pizza, along with all the typical candies and popcorn. It did take awhile to get the food made, I guess they are still ironing out everything. They do have those new Coke machines, which make a thousand different types of soda drinks. Give the place a try!

This theater has improved drastically in the past several months. The reserved seating and reclining chairs have brought it up to speed. The soda and popcorn machines are also new and I could tell they are focusing on the moviegoing experience again.

Wooh wooh wooh !!! What a make over... This theater has been completely renovated. I was here last year and things were in very bad shape. But now when I recently visited this place last week, I was totally surprised by the recliner seats with heat option for the back ( do try it out, it was amazing) , the sound was perfect and superb, the restrooms were clean too.. I would be regularly visiting this place now.. Would definitely recommend you to try out this newly renovated place..

This service here was awesome! My son Herbert and I both enjoyed the popcorn added with the special foam sauce they use from the restroom. The service was satisfying, a worker named Enzo gave me a bag filled with a slang term called "#2", it was brown and sticky. The floors were shiny clean, I even had to lick them to make sure! I will be coming back with my son Herbert because I love holding his hands during the movie. Greasy. Warm. Yum. One time I was watching Emoji Movie, and there was a bunch attractive people in the theater, but they were all with their parents though. The movie was good anyway, but Harold kept trying to unbuckle my pants. The seats give me life because they are heated, which makes me feel sweaty, musky, and it reminds me of Grandma's foot massages in her basement.

This Theater needs serious help. I was in line for my ticket over 30 minutes, by the time I got my ticket the movie had already started 10 minutes ago. Then the Ladies bathroom was out of toilet paper and hand towels. TERRIBLE!!

The good news is that the renovations so far have greatly improved the quality of this theater. Unfortunately, the renovations appeared to be confined exclusively to the theaters themselves - the concession area and the restrooms are still a little rough around the edges. Still, credit to the theater for allowing refills of drinks, and from Freestyle machines at that.

This place brings back childhood memories of greasy damp popcorn and sweaty butts from sitting on my uncle. I love the feel of the seats and how soft they are just like my uncle's lap. I often order fountain drinks with the special butter drink mixed with salt. The screens are nice and big and are perfect for me, because I am half blind. My other eye was scratched out by my cat, but I love my cat and how he sits on my lap. Life is great and I wish I could live in this theatre! Fun Fact: Sometimes I like to collect half-bitten hot dogs from the trash cans and shove them up my nose to enjoy the smell! THANKS FOR THE GREAT EXPERIENCE AMC!

The only reason this place even gets two stars is because the theater was pretty good. I mostly rate places on a combination of service, appearance, and quality. This AMC did very well on quality, average on appearance, and far far below on service. When we went to get an employee to ask a couple rude viewers to turn their phones off, it got turned on us and we had to show our tickets to stay in the theater despite just buying them from the same employee. Then, the employee disregarded what we said and didnt handle the viewers with their phones. This type of customer service, especially at a movie theater, is unacceptable. It ruins the movie experience and makes us not want to go to the theaters again.

AMC is consistently, disappointingly horrible at enforcing their own rules. Two men at the end of the row, in the middle row of the theater had their phones on and were messaging the entire movie. This is annoyingly distracting and so I asked the employees at the front to please ask them to stop or move. Instead the, obviously teen, employees didn't acknowledge my annoyance, simply followed me into the theater, believed the BS story that the men told him and left without solving the problem. Thank you AMC for not actually having security to handle this and thanks for hiring employees that can't solve a situation like this.

This movie theatre is great! It is always nice and steamy in there. I especially love how warm and greasy the popcorn is, yum. A big shoutout to a teen worker named Enzo, he helped me to the bathroom on a rainy day. I will be definately be coming back with my Russian children wrestling team!

Enjoyed the experience here at AMC Park Place. Went to see the 10:15 am Sat show to take advantage of the low ticket fees. It wasn't crowded and the staff was friendly. Theatres were clean. However, I thought the bathrooms were pretty dirty considering it was the first show if the day. Theatre seats were very comfortable and fully recline.

I use myspace and call her on my 1999 macbook while we watch the movie. Dont worry I brought 2 tickets! I kissed her during the movie and everyone looked at me weird... They thought I was just kissing a laptop, but no I was kissing my girlfriend

Economical prices on later run movies. Place is a bit rundown. Takes orders by Fandango but you have to check in there to get tickets. Doesn't offer reserved seats. Way too loud during previews - very unpleasant. Thankfully, better during main show. Staff is sparse but was friendly. Plenty of easy parking.

Much better than before renovations. Love the easy access to freestyle drinks and the reclining heated seats. Staff and cleanliness left a lot to be desired today. Long lines to get tickets because we had to wait in concessions line. The smell of burnt popcorn was terrible and gave me a headache. I had to throw away cups and water bottles out of our seats as well as clean all of the popcorn out of them. As I waited in line for a popcorn refill there were 3 employees "working", 2 right next to the cashier leaning on the counter with their backs to the customers not doing anything. I waited patiently several minutes before asking them to help. The theatre improvements were enough to give them one more chance so hopefully this experience was a fluke.

I left this theater so angry. Just wanted to see Instant Family with my daughter. Didn’t need anything from the concession stand. There were no employees selling tickets. You had to stand in line at the concessions to buy your ticket. Everyone knows how long it takes in the concession line. 20 minutes later after only one family was helped I asked for tickets. Little did I know that this theater has moved in the direction of bigger seats, therefore fewer seats and you have to choose your seats while buying your tickets. Only two seats left together were two right up front. The front seats should be outlawed. They hurt my neck and eyes. I will never ever go to this theater again. Stone theater: please never do this to your customers! Movie theaters were just fine before everyone wanted to recline.

Felt damp, smelled kind of musty (we were there on a rainy day which may have affected it). Kind of confusing layout with no one in the ticket office when I showed up. They have the recliners though, do that's a plus. Also was some guy vaping in the theater before the movie, which I realize they can't control.

This was possibly one of the worst movie theaters I've been in in the Raleigh area. The night we went they had moved ticket purchases to the concession stands, meaning three employees were serving a line of around 20 people. We stood in line for at least 15 minutes waiting to purchase our tickets, and missed the beginning of our movie because of this delay. We also were annoyed that they had locked the $5 Tuesday ticket prices behind joining their membership club. We were not made aware of this until arriving at the register and going to pay. Finally when we arrived at our selected seats they were TRASHED. It was almost comical to see. It looked like someone had emptied an entire bag of popcorn over the seats, and spilled their large coke all over the floor. Apparently no one had the time to clean this mess between movies, who knows how long that mess sat there.

This is my main theater now and I will keep coming here. However, it's a work in progress. I hope one day I can move this to 5 stars. As of now, you scan your tickets at the concessions stand, tickets are released later for this theater than other nearby theaters, and the lobby area is a little empty and weird feeling. However the seats are heated and it is the only AMC in the area that has reserved seats.

Love this theatre - it's usually not crowded and I'm not sure why (but I love that about it too). They have great seats that recline w a foot rest - my husband is 6'5" and he was very comfortable - they even have reserved seats! The concessions are fabulous and include free refills that you don't have it wait in line for! Best theatre in the area :)

Prices were way too high! I'm sure they are standard pricing but I'm used to paying $5 for a movie and $5 for a small popcorn and a drink. The staff seemed overwhelmed even with very few customers. The seats were amazing though. I'd go there again to see certain movies and if there were any specials. We only went there to see a movie that left other theaters...but I'd go again. Just not often due to the price.

It was actually really nice. It was comfy, had good concessions, and even had a bar there. I think this was the first time I went there and I might go again. The only problem was the bathroom, which was dirty and had a broken toilet, but that may have just been a bad day for whoever was working on it that day. Its definitely on par with Stone cinemas at parkwest. I would go again

This place is a dump. The parking lot smells like fart. The employees are always behind and unprofessional. We came for our movie and were here a little early only to be told “we’re not open” when they actually were they were just running behind. If you’re late, don’t lie to my face it’s disrespectful. Just say “hey I know we’re already open but we’re a few minutes behind, sorry about that.” The seats are the only thing this place has going for it. They’re amazing! Pretzel bites were good. Watching them interact made it obvious that the manager and staff dislike each other. That’s fine, but it shouldn’t be obvious to customers.

Went here for the first time over the weekend to see The Greatest Showman with my fiance.The theater IS old and there is a notable smell; however, I have mold allergies so I'm pretty sure I would have been coughing up a lung if the was mold/mildew....but I was totally fine. To be honest, it wasn't THAT horrible and I got used to it quickly. Perhaps the room we were in wasn't as bad but I didn't have an issue. So-- BEST part about this experience? I was born in '88 so going here was NOSTALGIA CITY. This isn't a BAD thing guys, if you're a millennial and you miss that old 90's or early 2000's theater vibe, this is the place to go! It's fun! (Reminds me of a good Dan Bell video) If you're feeling adventurous and yearning for the good old days then this is your spot. If you want comfort, restaurant quality food or BIG HUGE screens with special features.... don't be disappointed when you go. It's an older place with an older charm!

Easily the best AMC in the Raleigh area (AMC Raleigh 15 and Blueridge 14 are disgusting and desperately need to be burned down and rebuilt). This was our first visit to the theater, and we were pleased to find an updated lobby with premium concessions, Coke Freestyle machines and updated seating with heated, reclining chairs). Some reviews have stated that the employees left more to be desired, but while we went to a late showing (9:40PM), the two employees at the front were great! Our receipt doesn't list a name (only "Cashier #1041), but the young man was great - very friendly and helpful! We will be back!

I love this placee, smell musky popcorn and sweat smell good. I love nachos with delicios handsope on top. The workers are extremly nice and help me and my Indian cricket team. Especially enszo, he give me good popcorn with soap on top. ONLY BAD THING IS NO FOOD IN TRASH CAN FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to the movies on 7/23 at around 10pm - the girl with glasses and curly hair that was working the ticketing station and food counter was unbelievably super kind and calm. My family is a lot to handle, especially when they try to rush things. She wasn’t rude or gave us an attitude for rushing her. She calmly handled giving us tickets in a very kind matter. Normally, customer service in many places are lacking but she was one of the best employees I’ve seen thus far. I wish I had known her name, so I can give her a shout out here! for the theatre itself, I really like the incline option and the heated seats! It helps you relax and enjoy the movie to the fullest!

Went here first time today (6/17/18). I did notice a slight musky smell in the hallways, but it seemed better in the theater. The popcorn was ok, but I've definitely had better. We were at the first movie of the day (1:45 showing) and they had not cleaned up from the previous day. There was popcorn on the floor, napkins in drink holders and miscellanous trash on the floor. The bathrooms could have used some attention. But the employees were all nice. I think maybe they need better management here.

This is a nice theater that has been remodeled. Minus the bathrooms. (Please fix those. Lol). The check-in experience is really awkward, you actually go to the snack counter for tickets. When we went it was extremely weird at how dead it was on a Friday night, it almost feels abandoned compared to say amc Holly springs which is always packed! I don't think people have realized it has finally been remodeled! For now this may be a hidden gem.

It’s way better now! Fresh new carpet! Fresh new paint! New soda fountain equipment. Free refills on slushy drinks and soda! The chairs are brand new and ALL recline!. They have added heat feature (with two levels of heats) !!! It smells like a new theater and they are still building improvements. The armrest in the chairs center (they are paired) can raise up so you can snuggle with your Date! The construction speed the owners are moving at meant that even when we walked out at midnight they where still overhauling the other half of the theater at midnight! I haven't been to this theater in years, so I was pleasantly surprised at the upgrades. We had assigned recliner seats, that even had a heat setting that felt like lower back therapy. It's very conveniently located for me, so I will be watching movies here again.

Overall, the theater has seen a huge uplift since renovations. The lobby is updated and attractive and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The recliner seating, at least in the theater I was in, was practically brand new and very comfortable. That theater, #3, did have a blown speaker that took away from the experience. I haven't been to this theater before, so I'm not sure if it's a new issue, or something they have neglected to fix. Overall, I enjoyed the visit and will be back.

This is my favorite local AMC now. Don't let the outside fool you. It looks like it's under construction from the outside, and even the lobby looks like an old Regal (not nice looking). However, the theaters themselves have brand new reclining (and heated) chairs, and the sound and video quality is great.

Lines are ridiculously long at the concession stand. You buy and show them your tickets there as well as ordering food. After ordering a flat bread and hotdog it takes them 30 minutes to get it to you .. no one helped that guy and he worked so slow.. made us late for our movie..

This little gem is down the street from my house, and I had no clue it was even there!! Nice place overall. I didn't encounter the talkers or texters at this theater. The reclining, temperature controlled chair made my life amazing. I will be going back!!

Lots of parking, recently renovated, huge assigned reclining seats, serve yourself Coke freestyle and Icee machines. Generally not as crowded as nearby competitors. Great place for a movie. The only downside is the lack of variety in walkable things to do before/after.
