The lobby was clean and the popcorn had just been popped. The cashier was super helpful in letting us change our seats because we had a friend with us. AMC really did a good job on the remodel. My friend bought the tickets yesterday and he let her give my phone number so I could get the points, since she doesn't have a card. This is my favorite theater.

Hadn't been here for over a year and was blown away to see all the renovations. They now serve alcohol! We'd been going to the Palladium lately because they have the big reclining seats that can be reserved. Now AMC has similar seats, but they're easier to find in the dark and HEATED! No tray for your food with these seats, but with A BAR and heated/reclining seats, Palladium can keep their trays, lol. From now on, AMC 8 is my "Go To" theater.

Good prices, nice theater with recliners, cool refreshment options that were not your standard pop corn and candy (although they had that too). Facility had been updated since the old days of Carmike 8, but bathrooms were still the same stinky mess, but with a new entrance route. Overall it was a fun kid friendly experience.

They have remodeled this theater. It used to be the discount theater with older shows. Now they have the recliners and serve cocktails. Very comfortable and relaxing movie experience.

Cheap matinee seats and the seats are heated and reclining. The movie theater was clean. They do have reserved seating, but I was seeing a movie at a less popular time, so I arrived a little bit early to save the booking fee and I still got the seat I wanted. I don't get to go to the movies much, but I had an outstanding experience!

Ticket line is same as concession line. Doesn't matter if you pre-purchased online, you still have to wait on the concession line to have bar code scanned. I didn't want concession snacks, so I ended up being 15 minutes late for movie which I arrived to with time to spare. I simply left and went to Palladium for a later showing. In case you thought it was a one time occurrence, it wasn't. This has happened three other times before I just decided I will not be returning. I sent my complained to AMC company and no response. Regal Palladium is my High Point theater moving forward.

We went on a Friday night, only one person selling tickets and having you pick a seat. The line was rather long. All the seats are heated recliners and very comfortable. I will vote again, just not on a weekend night.

Since the remodel and switch to a 1st run theater this place is as nice, maybe even nicer than any other theater around, yet still a bit cheaper on the tickets, especially some of the early matinee specials. Very nice, comfortable recliner seats. There's even a bar there (though I haven't tried anything from it). Still a bit sad there's no longer a 2nd run, $2 theater in the area, but this is a very nice replacement.

My first time there since the remodeling. I like the new seating and the projection was great. Concessions area gets very chaotic and time consuming at times and our reserved seats were double booked creating unneeded confusion as well. This is the closest theater to me but I'll consider driving a bit farther for a less confusing evening. Not a good first impression.

A beautiful renovation. Large recliners. The website is outdated and we got hit with 9.99 tickets because it was "Friday night". No customer service. A streamlined movie hungry audience friendly. Tickets for 5 were not available together. 3 then 2 separate seats that were filled by others when we arrived. Front row is way too close to enjoy.

This theater has been updated and modified. It was a treat to visit this theater. It was very modern, with every seat a good seat. Great variety of foods and snacks, comfortable reclining and heated seats. It was a great experience. Loved it!

This theater is not well run for matinee movies. They close the outside line and require you to purchase tickets inside where you purchase snacks. That wouldn’t be a problem if it weren’t for the fact that the people who purchase tickets online also have to wait in the same line JUST to have their tickets scanned. Furthermore, the problem is made worse when the premier customers are accepted by both cashiers who seem to be unaware of the growing general line (despite the many people who left because it was taking to long to serve them). I waited 35 minutes just to purchase a ticket; when I arrived there were maybe 4 separate parties in front of me. People behind me waited longer even though they had purchased tickets online to make the process quicker for themselves. I don’t know what this movie theater is like in the evening because it has really great reviews (which I can only assume are from premier customers or customers who attended evening movies). I am very dissatisfied. It seems that this movie theater only works for premier customers.

I've been here more than a few times now since the remodel, and all I can say is wow. Every time I step inside the lobby it's such a great looking place. They even started selling adult drinks to get the ball rolling for when you sit in the new recliner chairs in the theater it's like watching a movie from the comfort of home.

I went the other night to this movie theater. Around three years ago, I use to go every Friday night when it was around $1.00 to see a movie. The chairs were uncomfortable and the place needed a complete renovation. When I walked in the other night, I was shocked at how amazing it looked. Even had a bar! We walked into the room where our movie was playing and I was even more shocked! The seats are nicely separated from one another and the seats even RECLINE! The video quality was excellent. Usually in movie theaters to get to your seat you have to walk sideways. Not in this theater; you're able to walk between the seats as if you're walking down a sidewalk. I was very impressed with how amazing this place was and we're going again this Friday evening. And the price was only $9.99. The only thing I'd suggest is having some seats out in the lobby. We had arrived early and had to go sit in the car. But no big deal. I highly suggest going to see a movie here.

Very impressed! We had not been to this theatre in years; not since the remodel. The theatre is clean as are the restrooms. The popcorn and drinks are tasty (you have to add your own butter which was kind of a let down because I like my butter layered throughout.) The new chairs are AMAZING! We will definitely be back!

Probably a really nice theater. Made family plans based on their posted show times on the website. Checked the website 1.5 hours before showtime. This was our first family outing in nearly 6 months. Apon arriving at the theater I was informed by the ticket lady that they had change the showing times because Captain Marvel was selling more seats. Oh well, off to the Palladium. Probably won’t give them a second chance.

If you’re interested in having a great experience at the movies, I would avoid this theater like the plague. I’ve gone to this theater at least 20 times, and I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I’ve had a positive experience. Whether it’s people talking and texting the whole movie, babies crying in R rated horror movies, the nasty bathrooms, or the congested and messy concession area, there’s always something that sours the experience. The employees seriously need to start checking in on these theaters from time to time during movies. It’s frustrating to see all these warnings about texting and talking before the movie starts, but nothing is ever done when it starts happening. That being said, the reclining seats, screens, and sound system the theater uses are all top notch. However, it’s difficult to truly enjoy any of those things when there’s so many distractions around you taking you out of the experience. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this theater for actually watching the movie you want to see. If you’re interested in going to chat with your friends and play on your phone in the dark, you’ll probably have a good time.

AMC in High Point is remodeling. they haven't completed their remodel but it's coming along well.. Great new theater chairs. They haven't finished the construction at the concessions area yet but it looks like it's coming along well. Can't wait to see them get it all finished.

My family really enjoyed this movie theater. The lobby was small but nnice.They also had a small bar on the side of the lobby. Be sure to download the AMC app before you go. This will get you one free refill if you get a large popcorn. The theaters are very nice with clean carpet and seats. The seats are large and soft too. All seats reclined with a footrest and have two different levels of heating, high and low. The deluxe seating made bus feel like a VIP. The seats also mean that all seats are good. We were in the second row and could easily see the whole screen.

I have been going to AMC for a long time now. They have updated the theater and the seats are very comfortable. You get to pick the seats you want when you pay. They also have a place where you can oder alcohol. I didn't get a drink so I don't know what the prices are. I will be going on Tuesday's now that it is $$. I have 3 children so I will go when it's not that pricey.

I thought it was still a $2 movie theater. When they told me my tickets were going to cost $33 for 1 adult and 3 children I about walked out. But I decided not to and was actually impressed. The auditoriums were updated with very relaxing seating. The seats recline to the point of almost laying down by just pressing a button. Every two chairs the is a "table" to put your food and each chair has its own cup holder. They serve gourmet popcorn (caramel and cheese flavored if I remember correctly), you get refills on any size drink with only a 70 cents different in between a medium and large. They have the do it yourself drink fountain you find at most fast food places now with coke products. You choose your drink and it has about 5 or 6 flavor variations with each drink. They also have a bar for the adult crowd. They have the curved screens in the auditoriums as well. The only downside for me, outside of the price lol, was that the auditoriums don't have a lot of seats so if you're with a crowd of people (4+) I'd highly recommend being one of the first people there or you more than likely won't be sitting together do to limited seating.

I absolutely love this place! From the fact that you can purchase your tickets online and actually reserve your seats ahead of time, to the amazing reclining seats (with optional heat) and extra wide aisles that make standing up or moving your legs aside for a fellow movie-goer to pass a thing of the past. The screens and audio are amazing as is the fact that everything is clean (floors, theaters, bathrooms). Concessions are great and you can even order online to have your food waiting for you upon arrival or delivered in theater. AMC 8 High Point is the gold standard of movie theaters.

First visit to this theater. Wasn't impressed. There was no one checking digital tickets, so basically anyone could walk in without paying. The theater was very stuffy for the first hour, then the air conditioning finally kicked in. I did like the reclining seats. The ladies room, however, was pretty trashed. See photo. There are plenty of other theaters with comparable prices and much better maintenance, so I don't anticipate that I'll return to this one anytime soon.

If they are going to make rules about people underaged watching R rated movies they need to follow them 100% of the time. Also needs people not to be rude about rules they do not follow 100% of the time. You would have thought we were trying to watch 50 shades of grey and we were 5 years old or something.

They've really fixed up the place. Now it has the nice recliner chairs and the screens and sound had been updated. Yet they are still charging $5 to see first rate movies. This is going to put pressure on the the theater at the Palladium.. (you know who you are!) This is my new go to spot.

Never going back. Came to see a PG movie with my friend and after waiting in line for 15 minutes was told that I could not see the movie because I was 16 years old and must show an ID to prove that I was 17 in order to see any movie that started after 6:00 pm!

Went to see a 3:45 movie, arrived 10 minutes early to enter theater with tickets already purchased. As I arrived to the door there was a line out the sidewalk with many of the patrons also having prepurchased tickets. With one line in, the wait took 20 minutes just to get our tickets scanned, previews have started and many fellow patrons were upset. Now mind you the movie theater does have a VIP experience that you can pay for called the A-list Club, which had no line and it felt as if the theater was forcing us to buy into this club, to not have to wait. First time going to this theater and probably the last, not worth the frustration even though there were three registers open inside. The staff was overwhelmed could not handle the amount of people coming into that theater.

I looooove going to the movies and being an A-Lister is the icing on the cake. Who can beat their price and u get to see up to 12 movies a month (live & in HUGE screen) for around $20? I suggest everyone become an A-Lister. If you go to the movies at least twice ba month it's already paid for

Heated seats, that i can lay back in, drink from the bar to enjoy will i watch a movie with popcorn. Just amazing. Very clean. Comfortable new reclining seats. Food prices too high. For 2 people with popcorn it was $40. My biggest problem was after paying that, they showed commercials, for products that have NOTHING to do with movies. Like medicines and insurance. I am reminded why I only go to the movies once or twice a year.

World class manager, staff, and facility! I could not say enough great things about this AMC and the people who manage it and work there. I've seen countless movies here and have always left more than satisfied with the experience (even the times when the move itself failed to live up to expectations). Recently I had the pleasure of working with the manager, Belinda, on a theater rental for personal use. She could not have been more helpful and accommodating! If you have something you want to utilize a theater venue for, or if you're just looking for the best place in the area to catch a newly released movie, I strongly encourage you to visit this AMC and its unbelievably friendly and customer oriented staff!

I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 visits here to watch Creed II both times. The seats are leather and roomy to the average body. I made adjustments to make it as comfy as I can for my lovely big hips. Some of the screens have an extra seat at the end as a single chair and some screens have double seats in there. Since I'm going with my hubby we will try to buy our seats in the pair so that I can be accommodated. Be careful if you have hips because the control panels are within the seats by them. One is for heat and the other is for the recliner mode. So imagine me fighting myself as to how I wanted my seat lol. With 8 screens it's just the right size for me and I love the fact that the restroom is right behind concessions.

This is my first review and certainly worth sharing. Last night was my first and last time visiting this theater. This theater was suggested to me soon after the renovations took place. Last night, I wanted to enjoy myself with friends on what was the evening of my birthday and was looking forward to the hype of this newly renovated theater. 5 to 10 minutes into the movie starting, I felt something crawling on me, as I was wearing a short sleeved shirt and my friend knocked it off. We could actually see the movement of whatever it was moving in the dark, however unable to identify what it was exactly. A few minutes later, again something crawled on me, again knocked it off. I looked down and there was food waste lying in between my seat on either side, as well as on the floor around me. Without trying to make a scene, immediately I moved to the seat opposite of my friend which happened to be vacant. Shining the flashlight from my mobile phone on the floor would have caused a disturbance. I really wanted to just leave because at that point I was extremely disgusted. Just because you place new seats in a theater does not mean that proper cleaning and extermination should end. Needless to say, I could not enjoy the movie, nor the $17 bucket of gourmet popcorn and drink we purchased in fear of ingesting a bug of some sort or the fear of something crawling on my skin again. Attempts at contacting management have been unsuccessful in person or over the phone. Will continue trying. Last night, I left the theater feeling the heebie jeebies and came home still feeling as though something was crawling, Yuck! With this experience, I would much rather pay $3 to $5 more in another well known, clean theater to be able to enjoy a movie without having insects of any kind crawling on me in a public place. Better yet, I can wait for the movie to come out on DVD or Netflix and enjoy in the comfort of my own, clean home. Not pleased at all. Utterly disappointed and disgusted.

We haven't been here in a while. I believe once it became amc before all the renovations. I will be honest, this wasn't my first choice. My wife wanted to see Aladdin and I didn't get off work in time for the other theater we usually attend. I told her this was the only theater playing it with enough time, so she agreed. We always hated the way it felt, from the seats, the musty feel, to just a poor theater. Even when amc took it over, it still felt like a budget theater. However, we were not aware of the renovations. I had read that heated seats are available which my wife loves. I figured you would have to pay extra or it simply wasn't available in the room we were in. Also, I was able to chose our seats like the Palladium in High Point. Once we walked in we knew they had been through a renovation process since we had been there. Other than being pressured to buy some membership the snack counter was fair. The popcorn was delicious and they had your standard fountain drink selection as well. Which as you know, sometimes they're a little watered down, which ours was a bit. Anyways, we were floored when we walked in and realized all the seats reclined and had the heated seat feature, which I used as well. We didn't arrive until 7:40 and luckily the movie had not started. However, if I had one negative thing to say is the assigned seat must not mean much to others. Our seats were taking, and because we ordered online, we wondered if they make you choose a assigned seat when just showing up at the theater. Overall, we were highly satisfied and plan to be back for Toy Story 4!

Didn't get to finish our movie, Fire Alarm. Gave us a rain check, but it was our anniversary, we'd hired a dog sitter so we could have an enjoyable afternoon

First time at this theatre. It is super nice compared to the other AMC in Greensboro. It's still not my favorite theatre in the area, but it's not bad. My legs hung off (at the calf, I'm 6'4") the end of the recliner, and even my wife's legs hung off as well (she's 5'3").

Wish we had 1/2 star rating, I would rate 4 1/2. Clean friendly service, reclining chairs, a bar if you need that in a movie, pay for movie and food at the counter, nice. Good experience!

Was a great experience, seats were easy to find, screen was great, and it had great audio. Popcorn was good, and fresh. Would recommend if you're in the area, have like $11, and two hours on your hands.

The comfiest movie theater seats I have sat in at an AMC. I was pleasantly surprised by the theater based off of the exterior. David, Caleb, and Zack were efficient, attentive, and customer focused when I have interacted with them countless times at the Concession Stand. They have made my experience every time when I visit this AMC theater.

Nice theater, but be advised that it is freezing! Might have been warmer but the recliner and heater on the seat were broken.

OMG they have a alcohol bar there. Drinks are high, need to come down a little on the price and those new soft recliner seats tops off the comfort watching the movie. Watch out Palladium they are knocking y'all out the park!!
