Love going, only complaint is that the seats are too small and very uncomfortable! I have spoken with a nice gentlemen and he is trying to fix that. Hopefully they can soon or I will go somewhere else.

The ticket/ concession boy was very rude, seemed as if he was very unhappy at his job. Maybe he should look for a new one. The small bottled water was very $$$ at $5. The previews were way to long, 40 minutes long. Driving to the Cinema in the next town over seems like a better option then this one.

Finally, the Corporation has decided to clean & redecorate our local theater.... We have new carpets and seats, that were long overdue to be replaced... Much more enjoyable now... Needs updated seats but for the price is great!!!! They was a long line to get tickets. They didnt have the outside box open at 7 PM so it was the same line for tickets and popcorn. It would of helped having it all open. We were in line at least 15 mins.

Theater is way outdated, sound is terrible and screens need work... BUT... this place is dead at certain times and sometimes you get a whole room to yourself to watch a movie. This can be great for families with children that might be restless during the movie. We've even had our kids walking around in the room while we watched a movie before in the past.

Theater room 3 was freezing! After asking the employees twice to turn off the air conditioning. ..we gave up and left. Fyi...it was 55 degrees outside. My 8 year old chose to leave rather than freeze!

We love going to the movies here. It's quick go in watch your movie and your out . Plus i love how you make your own drink and butter your own popcorn. Free refills .I'm glad it's free refills because the cost of a drink at the movie's are absurd. Here's a hint. Go purchase your movie tickets before the movie. You will get a short survey to fill out online . When you fill it out you get a promo code for the free popcorn. I was very satisfied with everything.

Was there last week to see crazy Rich Asians… However the movie real broke. I’m assuming it was the manager she handled it very well. She gave everyone free vouchers and the opportunity to watch another movie while we were there. The theater is very old but it’s clean and the staff are very professional.

Cheap tickets, good popcorn, Coke custom drink machines, and theatre rooms that's are too small to be overcrowded. The only downside was the dude taking pictures with his flash on ever 5 minutes.

Low quality. Run down. If I'm paying that much I want a good experience. You won't find that here. The room I was in had a large blue pixel stuck on screen the whole movie. Seats are old, small and uncomfortable. No surround sound or stadium seating in the big auditoriums. Sticky floors. The staff was moving with no urgency or pep on Thanksgiving day with a huge line out the door. Needs major updates to bring it up to spec. I guess AMC thinks slapping the "classic" brand on there gets them off the hook for a good experience. Better to drive out of town for a movie than go here.

Older small town cinema. Was a Carmichael, Now AMC . Clean and well kept, bathroom could use a make over. Good sound and projection. Was out of Dr. Pepper, popcorn was fresh. Would I go back again? You Bet!

Terrible. It is cheaper than anywhere else but that’s because the seats are on one level with a small incline. The seats have no head rests and are very small and uncomfortable. It’s very hot, barely feels like they have the air on and it’s damp. A regular drink alone is over $6!!! To get a drink and popcorn it’s $20!!! Definitely will never be back again!!!

Cheap tickets (hello $5 Tuesdays!), refillable popcorn bucket, not super crowded. But beware of RUDE employees. Especially the so-called teen girl who is the "manager." Good thing it's not the only AMC around. I guess I'll spend my money in Shelby or Hickory from now on.

The seats have been replaced so they're decent now, and the lobby has had a reasonable makeover. Still a small town theater, which is great so LTown doesn't have to go to Hickory or Gastonia to see a movie! Just don't expect a lot.

I went to see “A dogs way home” with my dad tonight. Previews were WAY too long; 2nd off the womens’ restroom was disgusting. None of the toilets flushed! Besides that; friendly staff, and I’d probably go there again. But, the plumbing MAGORLY needs a fix.

I agree with Erica Lee and have had bad experiences with some rude staff too. AMC hickory staff are more friendly and helpful and it is a better quality theater. I started going to hickory since becoming an A-list customer despite it taking twice the time to get there. I’ll give Lincolnton another try as I want to have a local theater. Been back twice since I wrote this and the staff were much better! Went to the 3:45 march 3 madea comedy and got behind 1 person on A list and there were about 10 on regular line. Big curly red headed guy with glasses looked at A list and twice took people from regular line first. I have often let regular line go ahead but was late. Not the first time I experienced a chip on this guys shoulder. If I pay for it then it should be honored...hickory does.

I have no complaints about the theater itself. It is an older theater but that is ok with me. The staff was extremely slow. At least 4 of them were all standing around talking to other kids buying tickets. I paid and waited through two other adults to pay before I eventually had to ask to receive my popcorn and drink cup. The popcorn was old and stale. I literally watched someone bring a clear bag of already popped popcorn from the back and pour into a display case to be served. (Yes a regular glass display case). Im not sure why they choose to not pop fresh pop corn and serve it directly from thr machine. Im wondering if the pop corn is what had me cramping and vomiting at 3: 00 in the morning. Maybe the melted butter was old also? Plus I agree with another reviewer, the prices for drink and pop corn are WAY over priced for an old theater. Especially since the pop corn isnt even fresh when I went. I enjoy the feel of an old theatre. However old pop corn and staff that are too easily distracted by their peers, isn't something I want when choosing a theater.

I like this location. It has fewer crowds but still has the great movies playing. Super easy to get in and out of. Staff is helpful and can get people thorough pretty quickly. I also like that I can use my stub hub account and earn points for the movies I watch. If you are looking for the big leather seats and huge surround sound this is not the place. Go to the big city for that type of location

Visited on Tuesday trying to save some money. Watched early movie 12:30 am. There was a crowd of people. Not enough staff to handle the crowd. So if you plan a early movie on Tues be there at 12am.
