The seats are nice, but getting into the theater requires following several very small signs and surmounting three very very tall escalators. Once you get to your theater, your showing may have an out of focus image like mine did. The reserved seating and reclining seats are very convenient and the sound is as you'd expect.

This is one of my favorite theaters for coming to the movies. The seats are fully recline, and you could pick your seat out in advance. The theater is located right on the water, right above a shake shack in a bunch of restaurants including the barbecue place called blue smoke as well. Overall it’s a great theater, and always has a lot of different showtimes. Very large and covers many floors.

I used to come here because it wasn't too busy and not ghetto. Every time I come now though, I have to get security to move people out of my seats, fights break out during the movie, fights break out in the hallway, no attendants make sure people sit in their seats or are behaving and quiet during the movie. I can't do it anymore. It's not just a few isolated incidents anymore.

My favorite movie theater so far! Love the idea of recliner seats! So comfy and cozy! The food selection isn’t as healthy though, so, if you try to eat well, this isn’t your option. That’s why I’m taking away one star. Wish they offered fruit smoothies and healthy veggie salads.

Excellent comfy cinema w 11 theaters. Prices what u would expect, adult $17. The only thing was the elevator was finicky about closing and it had to alarm to get it closed to go down to street level.

My family and I love this theater. The reclining seats are comfortable and help enrich the movie experience. Coupled with the sound system we can’t say there is a bad seat in the house. This theater is also perfect for kids. The chairs were comfy and the pricing was reasonable. I had a pizza and some popcorn when I went and they were pretty decent too.

The saving grace's here are, the theater is 3 flights up in an hotel/office blog. This helps in really hot or cold weather. If you have to stand in a 2-hour line for a Free Advance Movie Screening. They have 11 screens (I think). I have been in 3 or 4 differrnt auditoriums. The auditoriums are nice-sized. The seats recline fully enough to actually fall asleep in them.

An awesome place to visit, the building itself is beautiful!! There is a bar and other amenities in the building. The food is not overpriced , just an expected price mark up for the great seats & anvianse. The Parking is very expensive, but it Battery Park City what do you expect. A great place to visit with the family an amazing place to impress your date. You won't regret your visit here.

Found another theater I love. Very clean, well kept and so quiet. Love the views from the windows and I love the area period. The seats are comfy and yup reclines all the way back, plus trays. Take a visit then after your movie take a walk. Worth it

Nice hidden gem here. Only 4 stars because late night Saturday I came here to watch Fisrt Man, but a Star is Born was playing in every room after complaining we were told they couldn't resolve the issue and were refunded:( but it is a nice theater maybe return. (Update) I did return and giving 5 stars now it's my perfect secret getaway with my loved one always get that latest showing you'll be in your own private theatre really it's so empty you can sit anywhere streets are empty amazing view by the pier across the street this is Friday/Saturday spot now . I just good movies to cone out...

This theater had a very friendly staff. The refreshment stand was clean and the server was pleasant. The recliners are in excellent working order, the sound system was good and you can get a great view from the back! Check out "The Irish hunger" monument it's down the block, very interesting place.

This location is great. It's right next to Brookfield place. The best thing about this place is the reclining seats. The leather feels nice and it's not very crowded unlike the bed bug infestations in times square.

This is my only movie theater. I mean, go to others, but they don't compare. All of the seats recline. All of the seats are perfect. All of the theaters are in good shape. And in NYC, that is unheard of. The concessions stand isn't always excellent, but there's a Shake Shack downstairs for that.

My favorite movie theaters to go to in Manhattan. Have come here for multiple opening day/night showings of movies, and it’s great. Never too crowded, usually able to get a ticket for popular shows in advance after more popular theaters sell out, and there are several good surrounding restaurants to go to beforehand. Have had pleasant experiences with the staff as well, always my first choice theater if it’s not too out of my way!

I went to see the Lion King on 7/21 with a bunch of my friends as a way to stay out of the heat. However, upon arrival to the theater we all started sweating as the A/C was either turned off or not working. This experience not only ruined a classic movie for my friends and I but ruined any chance of us coming back. I highly suggest avoiding this theater. Really disappointed I spent money there.

Honestly, this is my favorite cinema. I've been visiting this Theater for more than 6 years. The staff is very friendly they make you feel at home and the place is always clean and organized. Personally I liked it more back then, when I didn’t have to reserve tickets. Now I have to buy an online ticket to be able to take the best place. But I understand it’s something necessary In order to better organize people.

For starters this Regal is at a great location! So many places to eat & drink & truly a scenic neighborhood. The theatre itself is pretty large and always has multiple showings. It's a great place even if you get there early. You can play some arcade games while you wait for your movie. Overall, a wonderful experience.

One of the better movie theaters in Manhattan. The place is new, modern, and spacious, and those reclining seats that are all rave really add to a pleasant viewing experience. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. We'll definitely visit more often now that we know this place exists.

Aside from the fact that you are riding escalators for days to get to the theaters they're super rad once you finally get there. Every seat (at least in theater 9) is a cushy recliner with a built-in tray. Great spot to fall asleep during a boring movie.

Really like this theater, it has the automatic reclining seats and a tray with cup holder. It's close to multiple trains as well. I wish it had bigger bathrooms, though, but they're still pretty big

I love this theater. It's new, and there's no marquee, so I'm not sure people even know it's there. Until that happens, i enjoy the relatively crowd free experience here. Expensive tickets, unless you opt for the $24 Unlimited monthly plan.

This was my first time here and and the seating was really nice. The theater and restrooms were nice and clean and the concession stand had a nice selection. Many of the theaters I go to now serve real food and the throw back theater goodies were a nice treat. Will def be back.

We went to see Gone With the Wind on March 3rd. The film's volume was so low that words were drowned out by people crunching popcorn, and sounds from the adjacent theaters. Myself and others complained to the staff and we were informed that management was going to do something about it. Nothing was done. The volume remained low. No announcement was made, no appology. I find this kind of service unacceptable.

Saw a late night showing of Annabelle Comes Home last night and just watched Avengers Endgame (Rereleased) at this theater. This was my first time ever coming to this Regal Location and I think it has become one of my favorite theaters! Its in an amazing location, its really clean, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and best of all the theaters are nice and comfortable with plenty of room for people to walk even when the seats are reclined. (Watched the movies in Auditorium 2 and Auditorium 4.) Overall if your looking for an awesome date night spot this a movie theater in a scenic location near the waterfront, and that litterally has various restaurants beneath it. I would definitely recommend checking it out!

This Is my go-to theater and I love this place. It is situated in a very nice upscale area. As there are many things to do after you are done with the movie; Oculus is right across the street, a stroll in the park, observe the skyline, restaurants abound, etc. The movie staff is friendly and the theater is clean and roomy. The seats are comfortable and no one in the theaters makes unecessary noise, comments or disturbs you while you're watching the movie. They do go through your napsack which I find to be somewhat intrusive. But I understand why they do it. Other besides that have a great time!

My favorite theater in the city! Super large and comfortable reclining seats (and not worn out), and reserved seating! No more dealing with crowds! The seats also come with tables with large cup holders so you have a place to put your food. The theater is part of the hotel, so you need to take multiple escalators up. It's a little confusing at first, just take the first escalator up then loop around to the second one. The third one is then a walk ahead. The other option is the elevator that is too the left of the first escalator.

This is my favorite theater in New York. First of all, it is never overly crowded. Don't get me wrong, it gets busy but never mob like pandemonium. Union Square movie theater for example is mayhem while Times Square theaters are way too rowdy for my taste. This Regal theater is just perfect. Reclining chairs, reserved seating, and cozy vibes. Of course the surrounding area offers amazing restaurant choices if you want to pair your visit with a nice dinner.

Great theater in a fancy mall area. Nice stadium reclining seats, good sound, crisp viewing. The staff were especially nice and interactive with guests. One gripe is that despite the location, there were 2-3 karaoke moviegoers who talked out loud to the screen and companions.

Extremely comfortable and spacious seats. Everything I expect in a modern urban theater and the prices were quite reasonable for New York. My only complaint was that they made a big deal about assigned seat locations. My son-in-law had purchased his ticket a few days ago on an app. Since I came with him today we wanted to get me a ticket for the seat beside his. The cashier said the seat beside his was already taken so he'd have to move back one row for us to sit together, but since he couldn't handle that procedure he called his manager. Together they played with the computer for a while, generally putzing around for over 5 minutes, and eventually stumbled onto the correct combination of buttons to complete the transaction. Then, when we got inside, we saw that there were only 4 other people in the entire 200 seat auditorium. The whole process of assigning seats and making a big deal about changing them struck me as basically stupid for an almost empty theater. It felt almost as bureaucratic as the drivers license office.

Just a short walk from my residence is the Conrad Hotel. I was looking for the Regal when I realized it was located inside the hotel. Up three flights of escalators and I was in a movie theater with multiple screens. I went to see Judy, which deserves its own excellent review. It was a weekday afternoon and I picked the first seat and ultimately sat in the theater with one couple. The seats are so comfy, plush recliners and although I didn’t need the desk style swivel attached table, I could see they could be useful if I wanted to. Lots of good previews, comfort and convenience promises my return.

Came here for the first time with my daughter to see Wreck It Ralph. We had a great time. The theater is a few floors up and is very neat and tidy. There are reclining leather seats, great service, and there wasn't a crowd. There are a lot of arcade type games, concession stands, and clean bathrooms.

In my opinion, the battery park cinema is the best in the city. Comfy reclining chairs, and never a huge rush because it's so far south. It's an excellent option if you live in BK or below Houston street, and don't want to deal with the mad rush of United Artists Court st or Union Sq.

Nice movie theater, but the bathrooms are disgusting !!!! As soon as you flush the toilet , water comes from the bottom of the toilet spilling all over your shoes and floor. I honestly went home and threw my vans away since potty water got in the inside.

I really hate to give this place one star, but after the experience I had with the manager Arturo and Will Cintron I never want to return to the Battery Park location ever again. I have never been treated so poorly and honestly it was the first time in my life where I experienced discrimination. These two lack customer service and are not fit to be managers. I suggest they buy a few development books or take workshops. I am 100% positive that they would not like to be treated the way they treated me. I do recommend this theater for cleanliness, recliner seats, but hopefully you do not have to deal with Arturo or Will. It is not worth spending your money somewhere it is not appreciated.

This place is a hidden gem. A lot of people dont know it exists. You have to take an elevator in the hotel so its really not obvious that it is a movie theater. It is my favorite movie theater and they have very comfortable seats. Everyone is very nice that works there. The area is also great for dinning after the movie. There are a ton of places to go. The mall across the street is unbelievable.

You can't go wrong with a good sound system, reserved recliner seats. The only knock is that it can be a bit of a schlep from the train station especially if you're traveling from the outer boroughs. Plan accordingly and you should have plenty of time to hit the concession stand and get settled in your comfy seat.

We had 1 scooter two kids and two adults. They told is we cannot came in with the scooter. It is a policy no scooters. I was astonished! We begged.we pleaded. My son cried. I asked for exeption..obvioisly we did not know. The rules become insane. The stollers ok (well thanks god)But kids scooter is a hazard. Am i missing something...? I feel our society is loosing common sense. Could we store the scooter? Iam sure for kids shows people come with scooters. Perhaps there is a better solution then to just coldly turn peolple,kids away, just because my child has a scooter.
