Good food and movie going experience!
Love this place. Low key comfortable atmosphere. Great movies. Food and drinks are always good and reasonably priced. Love coming here for cult classics and midnight showings as well as new movies.
Overall it's a good theater. There's a bar downstairs and the seats are rather comfortable since it's a dine in place. Sort of fun to watch a movie with the servers bring you food. That being said. The food is not exactly great. It's okay and definitely overpriced. The service from the waitstaff wasnt impressive either. Lastly. The theaters seating is limited and fairly small so do be sure to book in advance. Movies are often sold out hours before the showtime.
I love coming here. The food is great, the staff is great the drinks are to die for. I have had their truffle popcorn, veggie burger, impossible burger and queso and they were all amazing. Their frozen margarita is spicy and flavorful. I highly recommend this place to watch a movie and grab some food.
I came here on Sunday 12/9 to watch "the widow" 9:15 pm. the place beautiful and different, I cant said the same at least for the girl who took my order. After ordering some snacks and a soda, she didn't bring me a straw, when I ask her for one she answered me "next time write it on the paper." thank you for a unpleasant visit.
I came here with my boyfriend on a date to see “Isle of Dogs” we had a great experience! Theres something really nice about being able to order food and drinks silently right from your seat. Great alcohol and food selection
Nice old school theater. Only drawbacks was how uncomfortable the seats were and the faint smell of body odor permeating the theater.
Fun, quirky theater in Williamsburg. Prices are not bad and all the food and drinks I’ve tried have been great! Theaters are small and there’s no assigned seating, so showing up late is not an option!
First time trying the Nitehawk. I had a good evening there. It is fun to order directly from your seat. I had the veggie burger and it was delicious!
I love this little spot for movies.. The cocktails are awesome and worth every penny. The small theater is just right. I like it cozy... Table and service during the show wow!nice.. They only way to see a mo ie these days.. The food is good... And creative. They change the menus a little. Foods are named after the movie showing.. So funky
I would leave 5 star because I used to go every week. Now, January 2019, you never change the movies-same ones for weeks. I saw all of them and no new ones added. Prospect theater has way more choices. Now, I have to travel thereor just watch at home. I must say everyone is super nice and you should go to this place. For me, I work out of my house I would go twice a week.
Order food while your watching movies, could it be better? yes cause u can also order drinks. get here way before the movie starts, cause if u wanna get a good seat u better be there 30 min before the show starts
A fun, independent theater that shows great films, themed movie weeks, brunch, and midnight movies. Also, full service food & bev. What more could you ask for?
I got to say, as more and more theaters start to offer a more full experience on food and drink as well as a unique pre-movie experience (Also Alamo), I firmly believe the movie theater industry will do well. It is hard to find a night when Nitehawk Cinema is not pack/busy, as the place has great food, as well as some great cocktails. The theater is a little dated, but I think that adds to mystique of the theater itself, as we continuously move more and more into the digital future. Like its not dirty or anything, but definitely has character that I feel just gives this place so much more character, and again the food, the drinks, the people, are all great. Great date spot. Unique films are always playing here.
I love Nitehawk, I live a block away and go regularly. Food is good, drinks are tasty and the service is inconsistent but generally a bit slow. It can take 20 mins to get your order taken once you sit down, 20 more for anything to arrive. Plan on snacking rather than feasting since you're going to be in for a very hungry wait I'd say. All that said I love this place and will forgive it's issues since I know of no other cinemas like this in NYC.
Love this place so much! Except for the food value. It’s good, just not large enough portions. They have themed cocktail and meal pairings to go with the movies which is really cool. That being said, the pre screen videos are a work of art in and of themselves, and I would highly recommend going early to see them. Their bar, Lo-Res, is awesome, and worth going even if you’re not seeing a movie.
This is a great neighborhood theater. It’s imp. To get there early because there aren’t many seats. But we love this place. Great popcorn. Great way to catch a flick.
Not that big, but it was very comfortable. Enjoyed watching Fighting with My Family from there. Popcorn was good.
Very good service
What a freaking cool theatre. If I could afford it, I’d be having dinner & a movie here at least once a week.
Our favorite weekend family program!
A special theater to enjoy a good movie, it has good drinks, food and service.
If you are in for great food while watching a movie, this place will fulfill your expectations. If you are going on a date or by yourself, a good time is a guarantee.
Outstanding!! My wife and I came down to NYC to see a Broadway show and wanted to add in some extra entertainment. We both really enjoy going to see movies but this topped the cake. The service was fantastic, the food was good and it was great watching a movie and having someone bring beer and food while you were watching. Really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks NiteHawk.
Such an awesome experience!! Highly recommend to anyone that's never been. Great experience!
Really fun dine in theater...with two bars.
Very cute experience. This location only show old movies. Good small food menu and a good cocktail selection. Seats under 80 in all 3 rooms.
Delightful privately-owned dine-in movie theater boasting an ever eclectic roster of new releases and cultural classics. The menu is superb, featuring both traditional and inventive fayre, with movie-specific specials regularly on offer. Full booze menu available, too. Book ahead and arrive early... it can get busy and you’ll want your pick of the seats. Arriving early has its rewards however... their pre-show content (curated to match the feature presentation) is absolutely fantastic!
Had a great time watching Joker last night, It was like watching art. It was disturbingly good and I cant get it off my mind. Make sure you go watch this film
My favorite small theater I've been to. It's unique and efficient in the way you order food from your seat. I got the tater tots and it was one of the best decisions I've made. The spiked hot cider was a perfect amount of alcohol for me!
Super cute movie experience. You have to be 20-30min early to get a seat for an evening show. We showed up with 5min to spare and there were no more seats but the staff was incredibly nice and give us tickets for the next day. The overture before the screening worth showing up early for, they do a good job of making your time before the show very comfortable. I also recommend ordering quick, its odd to never really get to see your food if it comes after the show starts. Highly recommend getting a drink at the bar downstairs after the show. Great atmosphere! Very addictive date night.
Food is pretty great! Fresh oil! Crispy fish tacos and fried chicken sandwich were very delicious and all of fair portions. Had several different cocktails throughout the film (which was Annihilation, and it was terrible), and they were fiery and strong. The only one with flavor was a cucumber drink, and I highly recommend this nameless concoction. Sound and picture quality are a 5 or 6/10. Picture was somewhat fuzzy and dim. The movie sounded like it was straight from a TV speaker. Artful movie mash up/edits before the film!
Staff was helpful and attentive. The theater was clean, and the food was good! Definitely would visit again
Such a fabulous place. Good food super fun movie experience
Went there with my family. We were excited to try it. My daughter got food poisoning and they served my friend a burger with avocado and we specifically told them she was allergic. The food was cold and not very good. The check came a while after the movie ended. Disappointing experience. :(
Friendly people working there. Clean over all nice place to watch a movie with your family.
Quite possibly. The coolest place. On planet earth.
I love indie movies, and this is the place to get your fill of them. The atmosphere is very basic: just a ticket booth and screening room. I really like it, though: it's the kind of old-time movie theater that is rapidly becoming a rarity. Tickets are quite inexpensive as well! Just check what's playing online, but it's hard to go wrong: it's always something interesting.
Really nice environment with a great staff. Where else do you get a full restaurant menu to order from at a movie? With leg room?! Also the best ticket price on a movie I've seen in years. Just make sure you get your tickets in advance. The theaters are smaller and intimate but that also means they can sell out early. Will definitely be back soon.
Went to see a an echo in the canyon.
This place is my go to for movie watching. The experience is always top notch. Beware: if you like a no interruption movie experience, this is not the place for you. There is food and drink service throughout the movie which doesn't bother me but some friends have commented on it as a distraction. On that note, the food and drinks here are great albeit a little basic. After the movie take your stub down stairs to the lo res bar for a 5$ draft.
Great movie experience. Good food and drink. Always excellent selection of movies and events.
Watching a movie here was a great experience. There is a place for the giant theaters but they are killing their customers with $10 bags of popcorn and $8 small cokes. Come on. I felt this experience was much more civil. Not perfect, but we're getting there. Recommend.
This place is not like a regular theater...this place is more of a Bar and Restaurant with a movie screen upstairs than a regular movie theater with popcorn and snacks.... I went to see "Once Upon A Time in Hollywood".... Movie wasnt that good but this place is still good for a fun couples night... I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and a diet coke....... 2 chicken sandwiches with fries, 2 diet cokes, and about 6 drinks came out to about $ 88 with tip...... 6 drinks because the movie wasnt good so we went downstairs to the bar and started drinking......a bar in a movie theater what a great idea!!! The cost of movie tickets was about $30 for two tickets.... Good service, unique environment, and good food.....show up 30 mins before showtime or you won't get a seat....This place is a bit pricey but definitely worth the experience...expect to spend at least $100 if you go here...
Was my first time with my wife there. Service was really bad. They brought us chicken we didn’t order and Aperol we didn’t order (twice) and our waiter was trying to insist it was ours when the woman next to us told her she ordered an Aperol. Had to wait 45 min for popcorn and 30 min for a bottle Prosecco and the server gave us major attitude when we tried to complain saying the theater is full. Really disappointed considering these people have been in business for a while. Alamo is way better. Update: The management went above and beyond to make it up for us. I really appreciate and respect the effort. We went back me and my wife and everything was good.
Best place to see a movie. If it's a bad movie, you still have good food and drinks. If it's a good movie, food and drinks makes it even better
I enjoyed my time there. You can watch a movie while they serve you anything from their menu including alcoholic beverages. When I was there I only found 1 bathroom though, it be cool if they had more. Maybe they did and I missed them.
DOPE GOOD TIME GREAT SERVICE AND REALLY GOOD FOOD !
Friendly environment but really small seats. The floor of theater isn't leveled appropriately. Nice waiters.
Pretty meh experience. Two stars for food being overpriced. Nice toilets.
Love this theater, Is small and cozy. The food is amazingly delicious and the service is on point. Would be nice if they had better seats.
Nitehawk is the neighborhood theater you always wish you had. Great programming and tasty food/drinks, with quirky bonus content prior to the show that always hits the spot. No wonder people show up so early.
Mediocre food, terrible customer service, underpriced mischarged
Absolutely Iove this indie movie theatre.
Fun place. Great preview videos and good beer selection. Show up early for best seating.
Eating during a movie has some novelty value, unfortunately the food is very average at best. The brunch options came flavorless and cold.
Quaint, cool spot to catch a flick.
Superb from start to finish, although the portions of food are small for the price.
Nitehawk Cinema, is fun . They have really good service and always fun environment.
Saw Bad Words starring Jason Bateman here. Pretty cool that they serve you while your watching a movie. May distract others but my overall experience was pleasant. The screen could've been better though.
Do yourself a favor and come to the cinema! It has incredibly comfortable chairs, perfectly located tables,And the servers do an absolutely in sane job at taking your order as quickly as possible and getting out of the way as much as I can! The audio in the movie theater itself was incredible as well, and the size of the screen is absolutely perfect. It fits 40 people from what I understand, and it is very comfortable and spacious! You don’t feel like just another generic person going to a movie, it’s more of an experience! And not to mention incredible cocktails downstairs at the bar as well!
Small theatre but very welcoming. Happy hour prices at the bar, use ticket stub for discount on drinks after your movie. However, small screen size and small theatre. Couldn't hold more than like 40 people. Full service during screening with beer and food. Chill place.
They serve up some great cocktails here. Had a blast last night with my girl. We ended up watching the Joker movie and it was great. Might do it again next weekend to watch Jojo Rabbit.
Why would I not want to eat and watch a movie.. duh! Small theaters, seats are fine. Staff is cool, food is good nuff and drinks are available and creative.
Great viewing experience and very clean.
Absolute best
Honestly my favorite theater in New York City. There are always fun screenings and a themed food menu. This is the spot that changed NYC liquor laws to allow movie theaters to serve liquor. A trailblazer... Always a fun time here! Most recently went to a movie with live score-amazing!
Seats were smaller than other dine-in franchises but okay.
Great place to watch a movie! Drinks are excellent, love trying their different specials. Food is always good, popcorn is great. We loved brunch here. Small and cozy theaters, first come first serve for seating.
Plenty of space, great customer service, interesting atmosphere and vibes quite the cinematic experience. The theather is in good hands. Only one thing, add wings to the menu please lol
Was very lucky to see a curated show of animation shorts. They have other movies playing too. Would be cooler if they were to show more indie films.
This is a great and intimate theater which offers dining and drinks with movie showing. It takes a while to get used to having wait staffs walking back and forth during the show but it is nice to have more than popcorn to enjoy the movie with.
Just saw Barbarella as part of the midnight screening series and had a blast. Food/drink service was great and not too disruptive. Theater itself is old-school but the seats are comfy and the projector was working
Really grateful for the Hawks with Babes screening each week! It’s nice to be able to go to the movies with your munchkin and not want to FLEE THE SCENE the moment he starts crying - all the other parents in the room with their own babes, understand.
Overall not bad. The seats are not the most comfortable and a tad cramped.I would say the viewing rooms are a little small but the biggest thing is whether you've selected a good movie or not. If you've selected a good movie you'll enjoy the experience.
Favorite movie theater with awesome food. Buy tix ahead of time as everything sells out!!!
Don’t try calling the theater because it only connects to the kitchen answering machine of both locations. Totally insane. Wanted to talk to a human being because I wanted to make sure the film I was about to see wasn’t on their comically tiny screen. Couldn’t get a hold of anyone
Went to see Midsommar. The theater itself was great, however I ordered a "poutine" and was served a small bowl of what appeared to be microwaved tater tots topped with melted cheese and a mixture of ketchup and barbecue sauce. Couldn't believe it! For $14 I could've bought a nice meal pretty much anywhere else. Extremely disappointing.
My new favorite cinema. Great movies and pre screen entertainment. And awesome food options! I cant go back to a regular theatre! This place rocks!
As an ardent cinephile establishments like Nitehawk are a breath of fresh air among Regals, AMCs, and the like. Let it be known - Nitehawk Cinema is a movie theater for movie lovers. I go to the Williamsburg location almost every weekend for their midnight screenings of B-Horror movies, interesting documentaries, and obscure films. Their selection of recent releases juxtaposed with B-movie "deep cuts" and events keep the movie theater both accommodating to casual movie goers and cinephiles alike. Their events are great too! (See "Spoons, Toons, & Booze"). There aren't enough great about this place: friendly/accomodating staff, great late-night film selections, and very clean theaters. I love my weekend excursions to Nitehawk and am excited to see what they come up with next.
This is a great and interesting place. Staff is really nice. The food is ok, but definitely better than the usual movie fare.
The staff was rude and I was in really good mood but they ruin my mood just before my movie and this was awful. Still the movie was okay and the price for the movie was okay but still I won't go there any more. Very disappointed.
I love this place! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Really fun place to see a film and and hang out. The food specials are always interesting here too!
I really enjoy the concept of serving sodas/alcohol drinks, food and snacks right were you sit at. It's a bit pricey but worth it with the service your getting. I came here with my wife once for Halloween day, staff/servers had on costume. They have a really nice bar were people can get a drink before you even get into see your movie. They have a small tri-angle shape table with cup holders, where you place your food and drinks on. This should be more of the direction that other movie theaters take as their sights moving forward for adults. Not to sure if it will work for kids movies. I mean you get a nice drink as your watching your movie, who wouldn't like that? My only major problem with this theater is they are not showing update movies. It's mostly old out dated movies. Every now and then you'll get a new movie showing in major theaters. That's my only reason why I can't give them a five star rating.
Love the atmosphere. Never really had the food but the popcorn is good and the servers aren’t as distracting as the Alamo or IPIC ninjas.
Great theater with an old school vibe. They play tons of indie movies. And the ones they chose to air are usually really good. They have an in-house drink and dine in which is kind of pricey. If it were mildly cheaper I'm certain people would rack up a heftier bill. The seat don't recline nor are they plush. It's just a good old movie theater. And the previews are pretty much very old commercials that aired through history. So that's also pretty cool.
Servers were great and it was a cool experience, but the veggie burger was the most stale and overcooked veggie burger I’ve ever had. Given the food is supposed to be the appeal here, I was disappointed. Would give it another shot, though.
A real treat: great movies suitable for pairing with excellent themed drinks & popcorn—and usually prefaced by hilarious retro commercials. Often sells out!
Loved this theater. Can order full meals and staff very nice... Very good experience.
Great selection of movies at a great price. For a movie theater the food is excellent, for a Brooklyn restaurant it's passable. Be sure to get tickets in advance, it just about always sells out. For me, one of life's great pleasures is going to the movies solo. This isn't the best theater for that, but great activity for pairs, be it friends or date night. Cocktails are good.
Marvelous sound , nice experience , so good
Really fun movie going experience, great for a date! My only complaint is how expensive the snacks were. $7 for a medium bowl of popcorn when I'm buying drinks all night is a lot.
best cinema, ever. Fine drinks, meals, and prices for it all. Previews and special food and drinks have A LOT of thought put into them with themes that are plays against particular movies they are playing during that particular point in time. I kinda hate myself for letting others know about it because I don't want it to overpopulate. So ..ugh...just kidding.
Best date night spot. The food is perfect. I have never been disappointed by any food or beverage there. Exceptional veggie burger. Everything is very reasonably priced. The previews are always delightful so I recommend coming 30 minutes before to get a good seat and to enjoy the previews. Seating is comfortable and are a good height for people on the shorter side even if someone tall is in front of you.
Awesome place. I didn’t feel like I fit in with the crowd (hipsters) but who cares. The food was great, the servers were kind and courteous, and not to mention how instead of previews, they play clips relating to the subject matter of the movie you’re about to watch. A different movie experience and very affordable. 10/10
A really fun date experience. Or solo! One time I went in alone, and the server asked me to move to a singles section because “sometimes people come in with dates.” The cool thing is she gave me a free popcorn! And it was some of the best popcorn I’ve ever had. If you go on a date, pretend to be single and you may luck out.
A small dine-in cinema which houses 4 theaters, but it is easily one of the best movie theaters in Brooklyn. Nitehawk Popcorn is so good! Would definitely comeback here!
Super fun intimate small theater and so fun to have real food while you watch a movie!
Full service movie theater is amazing. Highly recommend Nighthawk popcorn.
Fits well with the hipster vibes of Williamsburg. Tons of throwbacks, indie and international movies. The food is not the best quality but the service is very professional. Nice spot for drinks and flicks with a date.
Loved the experience. I would def go again. The ticket price isn't bad and the menu had great food options. Love the atmosphere.
Perfect for a brunch and movie. Get the Nitehawk popcorn
A cool movie theater with good quality movies. The room is always clean, the staff helps to find a place. The sound quality is excellent, the screen for watching a movie is big. Prices are a bit overpriced.
The design of the movie theater is cool, it has an old fashion styled preview setup. On my first visit, the food was pretty good! I ordered the: nighthawk burger, and the quesadilla. The burger was great! and the quesadilla was pretty good too. However, the food has declined. I again ordered the quesadilla, and this time, it nearly made me gag. I guess they had to have changed the recipe, because it was loaded--and I mean LOADED with spinach. There was little to no cheese, just all greens. I thought I could drown out the taste with the sauces on the side, but what seemed to be sour cream was just spoiled. Disgusting. But other than that, great food.
Charming interior with VHS coated walls and downstairs bar. You can order drinks and food during the movie and the service is consistent. They show a variety of movies, new and old. Check their schedule online or through moviepass, which they also accept.
I wish you guys would just assign the damn seats already. It's not that hard. You create a terrible experience with people needing to get to the theater super early and then wait in line with no guarantee of getting seats with your party. Your lobby isn't big enough to accommodate everyone!!! Advoiding this place until they get with the times.
Good price indie vibes overall I dig it
The free seating option is super stressful and disturbs everyone at the cinema. Assign seat numbers! It’ll do everyone a favor. The option for food service looks promising. About to try it!
I go once a week for 7 years and I still love it. Food is much better than at Alamo, as are the drinks. The selection of movies could be more on the indy side, but I'll take it.
Great movie theater. Food and drinks were great and so was the service!
Great old theater experience, the popcorn flavors are a must try!..their connected downstairs bar is also a nice touch to meet up and have a drink while waiting for your movie time.
This was one of my favourite theatre experiences. The theatre was comfortable, the staff polite and very unobtrusive and the movie was great. I had popcorn and tater tots and the serving sizes are quite large! Would definitely come back!
One of the best movie theaters in my opinion. There are tables by the seats; you can order food, drinks or some adult drinks. They are brought to you. Make for a much better experience than the average theater. The employees are also very pleasant and helpful. Shout outs the the bartenders!
Great movie theater. The seats could be more comfortable and easier to get out of.
Awesome dine in theater with classic and contemporary screenings paired with awesome food and delectable cocktails. Very cozy experience.
I love the selection of food in my hometown theater
There was really good, the place have an excellent service and you can drink a beer watching art cinema!
Cheaper than the Alamo! Saw the beach bum and really enjoyed it. Their signature popcorn was really good, and so was the iced coffee.
A different and fun kind of movie going experience to be had here. Have a bite, a beer and a flick! Good service, cool vibe.
Very interesting experience. Small, cozy rooms and the option to order food and drinks during the movie is awesome. I also love the old school vibe and decor.
They serve up some great cocktails here. Had a blast last night with my girl. We ended up watching the Joker movie and it was great. Might do it again next weekend to watch Jojo Rabbit.
This is how all cinemas should be. Run by people that love movies.
Oh my god the BO!!! Three stars for fun movie selections and atmosphere (there's a bar, and you can order meals from your seat). BUT the BO was enough to make me rush out of there once it was over (I definitely lost my appetite)
Easily my favorite place for movies. Keep in mind all the spots/ads you see before any movie are homemade and really campy and eccentric. I love this about Nitehawk. They play a lot of really interesting movies you won't find anywhere else and they host great events too. I love the vibe here. Food and drinks are also top notch! Interesting, well executed cocktails, decent beers. They have cool and unique snack options which won't run you more than average movie theatre food. Though last time I was there I paid $14 for a hot dog and fries, which did seem a bit steep. Otherwise I love everything about this place.
Great movie experience, my only complaint was the seats were tight.
Great place for drinks and films.
Great place, roomy sofas and serving during the movie.
Great place for dinner + indie movie screenings.
Really fun theatre! Good food and fun way to catch a flick.
Much like an Alamo draft house. Comfy seats. Fun events. Went for the Saturday morning cartoons and had a great time. Love that they do themed drinks and food.
The movie theater and employees were nice/clean. However, the food selection was disappointing in comparison to other dine in movie theaters. Not worth the trip to Brooklyn if you don't live close.
Food was great, old theater but clean.
Couldn't concentrate on the film at all with waitresses constantly running up and down the aisles serving the yoghurt knitters their avocado toast on gluten-free bread.
Gross and unsanitary. Just seems slimy and the seats dirty and itchy. I don't think they clean or sanitize the tables or utensils/glasses there. Got bacterial conjunctivitis there and totally not surprised! The tables were dirty and food was cold. $16 Beyond burger served partially uncooked on plain English muffin. Beyond unappetizing. Cold fries. 30 min of retro 80s ads. Service below mediocre as well. If you go here bring sanitizer and don't touch your eyes the entire time!! You've been warned.
This place rocks. Cool bars. Good menu. Comfortable for seeing a movie and a decent price
Great place to take some snack and watch a movie. They are very friendly and responsive and the food is very good. The seats are pretty comfortable and you can watch great movies there.
Nitehawk is an awesome theatre with a great selection of food/wine. the service is also incredibly good while you’re in the theatre. I recommend buy tix online before hand and coming early to get a good seat
Eat, drink booze and watch, first run and many classics. Best get there early.
Loved it. Great food. I do wish the staff was quieter and not so worried about constantly removing glasses.
Awesome cinema! You can order food and drinks during the movie.
The original and the best dinner and a movie spot. What makes Nitehawk great is the amazing clips they show before your movie. Unique clips tailored to the movie you're watching - either past movies the actors have been in, or clips with a similar theme in mind. Whoever puts these together are total film nerds and I love it! Oh, the food is delicious, the drinks safe great, the staff is wonderful too
Arguably best movie experience ever. I watch movies alone here to eliminate the uncertainty of other people invading my Nitehawk experience with inane questions, inexplicably frequent bathroom trips, or God forbid - snoring. Strongly recommend Nitehawk unless you're an irritating person. If the latter, go to AMC, you'll be in good company.
Great place to catch a movie, and have a beer. like 30% cheaper than the chain movie theaters, with the ability to see some movies that would otherwise not be aired. The staff is efficient and friendly.
One of my favourite places in Brooklyn. Great food and beer served to your seat throughout the film. Absolutely class!!
What a cute little theatre for dinner and a movie! Super cute and comfy, perfect date spot! The food selection is actually pretty good, and the system they have in place works well. Having a bar is great addition as well! You can have pre or after movie drinks at the bar right downstairs.
My 2nd favorite movie theater. Same theater for a more intimate setting. I wish we could pick our sitting ahead of time. I enjoy the dine and dash, card already on file, eating and walking out. The waiters at time block viewers but nothing too serious. Food was hmph.
People were friendly and efficient, food was very good. We were seated at small tables cabaret style and enjoyed our meals and drinks while watching a great fun movie "The Velocipastor ".
Nerd Haven. Please join us watch vintage movies and win cool raffles
Loved my visit to this theater. I only wish I lived in a area with such a cozy atmosphere. Food is a bit pricey but it is too be expected for the convenience of table service to each individual seat. I had the delicious Nighthawk popcorn and coke to drink (which ran out quick, pretty sure no refills but i didn't ask). Overall very satisfied.
Was visiting NYC and stumbled upon this gem... I had a wonderful time, what made it so was the friendly staff from servers to bartenders everyone was super cool. I enjoyed the bar it is cozy, unpretentious, crafty and very welcoming. Great service all around.
Food that's not out of a package. Thoughtful menu design (specials for movies playing ..I mean ....c'mon!!!) Friendly staff and fun atmosphere @ Lo-Res
Best movie theater in NYC. Great ambience, cool originally edited videos before movie starts, and the food and drink options are delicious (thai popcorn is amazing). I thought the in theater service would be distracting but the attendants move swiftly and silently and you barely notice them.
Served while watching movie! Good prices!
Their TLT was SO GOOOOOOD! Sad that it's not on the menu anymore, but I still love coming here to watch movies and munch. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian options.
I love the pre-movie ,old videos and old advertisement tv, food was good and service was fast
Great theater! Nice atmosphere, staff and we had the fish tacos. I would give it a 5 if it was more spacious or laid out better.
Dirty tables and seats, tiny screens, food was mediocre, overpriced and cold.
Great place to see a movie and have a nice meal, just arrive early at least 30 to 45 minutes in order to get seats together and to order ur food and or drinks.
