It's nice but no refills on the popcorn cause machine was down, then a fire alarm so we had to evacuate but I get it but at least offer us all complimentary tickets for the inconvenience, not just for people who don't want to stay and come back another day. And no toilet paper in the women bathroom.

Actually a really good cinema. Nice staff, comfortable reclining seats, and a bunch of snack choices. Only thing I wish is that there would be surround sound (dolby atmos) and a larger screen. Doesn't deserve a star down tho.

Nice location. It was my first time there. The concession stand line ran smooth especially on a $5 Tuesday situation in the afternoon. For a young staff they were respectful and manners which is a big deal because most theaters in NY the staff has an attitude. Clean seats that work and clean theater floors. Bathroom were clean as well

My most favorite spot ever for movies! so favorite that when I move to new houses, I make sure I have good commute to this spot! It's one of the few locations that has HUGE couches for fun cuddles (if you're going as a couple) or snuggling with popcorn and drink if you're going solo (which I enjoy doing often). I usually combine it with a cheat day (which happens more than one day in a week haha) and take the cheese pizza, large drink and something sweet. If you're going with a plus one, make sure to lift the handle from between the couches, for an easy and elegant arm gesture for a hug! ENJOY :)

Cost is on the high side as to be expected. Movie was clean. I didn't like the seating arrangement placed on the second row of seats. The fact that the seats reclined so far back changed all of that. There seats were everything! Amazing seats. Overall a good experience.

Always fun to be in a theater with full recliners and reserved seating. We ended up having to be in the third row for Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” and were worried that we were too close to the screen, but it was more than OK. The food choices are all unhealthy, but otherwise, it’s the most convenient place for watch movies on the Upper West Side.

This AMC has the best recliner seats in Manhattan, at least of movie theaters I've been to. Yes it is a little more expensive because of that, but it is worth it to sit comfortably like you're at home.

Well the movie was great Lion King. But almost everytime I come here there is no hot food. So if you going to watch a late movie make sure u eat before you go there. Very disappointing when u hungry and about to watch a movie at a theater that has a full menu but only nachos n popcorn available. It to make it worst both soda machine on the first floor have no ice. So a worker tells me I have to go downstairs and went I get there is not working only was able to get ice. Then I had to go back upstairs to get the drink. To then go back downstairs to watch my movie. Come on you guys need to get it together.

I come to this theater often and it is great. It has reclining seats that are comfy. I would recommend taking the train because parking is difficult to find and the fee is hefty. Overall it is wonderful.

Always nice to have assigned seating. It was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and smelled damn good for a bathroom lol. The placement of the concession stand is awkward due the structure column that's there. U have to squeeze past people and hope you don't get bumped and drop your food.

Good theater with assigned, reclining seats. Bathrooms are the only tricky part; many of the the theatres are downstairs, and the bathrooms are up. Which is a bit of a hike. So, skip the large soda.

I usually really like this theater because of the spacious reclining seats. But my seat tonight was broken and it's not the first time. They need to maintain them better if they're going too charge premium prices. Broken seat was D4 in theatre 5. It's slanted about 15 degrees to the side. Don't sit there!

Decent theater. Wish there were restrooms on the lower floor, though. Seats are set up in such a way that there's potential that a tall person sitting up in front of you may block a small portion of the screen, but not too much to detract from the experience. Seats closer to the front may actually be better in this theater because of the angle the seats recline.

The last time I was here was in 2015. I remember being blown away by the huge, plush, super comfy leather recliner. It was so comfortable I almost fell asleep during the movie. There was a tremendous amount of space between my seat and the person to the right and left of me, so you really felt "alone" and engrossed in the movie. Today I went to a movie, and was really looking forward to having this experience again. I was shocked at how everything was different. Gone are those big recliners, they have been replaced with the standard "home theater" red recliners, that are built in rows of 4 or more seats. The seat was not that comfortable but the worst part is you are really, REALLY close to the person on either side of you, it's worse than a regular movie theater seat. It's just gross. Between the popcorn eating of the person on one side of me, to the slurping of soda and talking on the other side of me, it was a nightmare. Halfway through the movie I got up and sat in the second row by the screen, which was actually pretty good. Unlike other movie theaters where you can break your neck if you're in the second row, here the screen is set up where it's actually watchable. Plus most of the row was empty. Anyway after the movie ended I asked an employee about the seats and was told the movie theater completely remodeled the place, took the old seats out and put these "rows" in. It was well worth the $20 a ticket (or more? It might have been $21 or $22 then), I paid in 2015. But the $20 I paid today was a waste, all the pleasure of comfort and space are gone. I'm never coming back.

Simple, concise, and BRIEF... This is the best AMC Theater in all NY. The staff is so polite and always friendly, they do as you please, if it's pertaining their job and quality of services. Only wish they addedd more movies, but it's not as big as others so I get it. Love this AMC, it is by far my Favorite one !!!!!!!!

This theater is nice and clean for the most part. There's a concession stand only on the 1st floor where the ticket booth is. On the 1st floor there's also an Icee and soda machines upstairs but just a soda machine downstairs. An elevator to get down stairs and steps. There is an escalator but it's only coming upstairs. The wheelchair accessible seats have a lot of space of the sides.

My husband and I took our daughter to see Angry Birds 2 yesterday. Unless we go on Tuesdays its $70. We paid $23 for a drink and a pretzel that was sour and stale. Normally we always go to to the movies in Yonkers. Yesterday I thought it would be nice to take the train instead of driving. From now on I will stick to what I know. We will be going back to Yonkers!

It was great and renewed movie theater about 5 years ago with great seating but they seem to have a rodent situation because I saw a mouse trap underneath a seat which I was kind of scared of the thought that a rodent can climb up to us while watching the movie in dark. They also had water leakage from the ceiling. The food and restroom area on the main floor and the movie theater is on the 2nd floor and the lower level. The restrooms were clean and the staff was friendly.

Pretty good experience. Please keep in mind that the restrooms are in the lobby. There are no restrooms on the same floors as the theatres. Weird set up but those recliners are so comfortable.

This is the best cinema theater especially for couples. The seats: •Are built for couples. •Have cup holders. •Are super comfy. •Recliner feature allows you to fully lay down. •The arm rester can be adjusted so that your partner can cuddle you. They have huge screens. The sound system is amazing. Basically they are the best and I am always disappointed when I am forced to go else where.

It is a nice theater but there are only two kiosks inside to buy tickets that don't work so well. There are three theaters on the top floor and three theaters on the bottom floor with the bathrooms in between both floors. The place ace was fairly crowded. I might go again.

Some staff have no customer service at all. The place could be a lot cleaner. Like they have mice’s or whatever it is running around in between seats. I use to enjoy this theater a bunch but they been slipping! Hard! Why get new seat and a little makeover to not maintain it. They can do better. I know this! It use to be one of my top dinner and a movie spot. I’m worried.

Was OK. The sits were dirty, there was sweat from the person sitting there before me - disgusting. The line for the concession was so long, there was only 1 person on a register and he only took people from the premium line. I waited over 15 minutes, the line didnt budge so i just gave up. Other than that it was nice, but not a great experience.

AMC 84th Street, movie theater is pretty good. There is no garage parking close by, only street side parking, good luck with that. Taking the train would be your best option. Pretty much it's good movie theater, the seats recline so that's a plus. The bathroom's pretty much is clean, compared to other movie theater bathrooms. Enjoy.

This movie theater is very nice. I love the recliner seats and it's always clean. The customer service is good as well. I like that I don't have to wait to long on the consession stand. The audience is great too. Everytime I went to this theater the audience had great movie manners. I don't hear talking, phones ringing or babies crying. Everyone is considerate. I highly recommend this movie theater.

The only part I didn't like is that I have to purchase the tickets outside. At the late hours, I felt unsafe. I had a couple of kids next to me and my mother wanted to go to the movies but they didn't have the money. I felt for a moment they were about to rob me. Unpleasant feelings.

Great reclining seats, good variety of snacks including Popcorn, hot dogs, hash browns, and candy. They keep adding more great movies, therefore you will never not find a good movie that you want to watch at AMC. The seats are very big, and humans of all shapes and sizes can fit in them. The seats are also very comfortable, that you might even want to sleep in them if you had the time. Also, they recline, which is great for a long movie. The screen is very big. The movie quality AMC serves is also very good. I do not think AMC can improve in anything, if I think realistically.

84th street 6 is ok, the mechanical recliners were a very comfortable addition. The recliners were clean and the auditorium was presentable. As for the concessions area and the mezzanine areas it could have used a quick mopping of the floors as they were in need of tidying up. The concessions area wasn't optimally utilized, resulting in a gaggle of people crowding a small corner to receive their orders. Pre-orders and current orders mixed together creating a slightly uncomfortable environment. All in all the theatre staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. I would rate the theater as 3 1/2 as the facilities weren't optimal for a large amount of movie patrons.

I love this theater but PLEASE for the love of jehovah, UPDATE YOUR BATHROOM STALLS. Dividers between the urinals or actual adult sized ones. You'll know what I mean when you visit.

Not to be biased, but this is the best movie theatre by far, and my favorite. Its quaint size delivers a comfortable and personal experience to every viewer as well as between viewers, whether alone or accompanied. Reserved seating is a must, like watching a movie on your bed or your couch, from the comfort of your own home but with a slightly bigger screen. Haha. The theatre itself is also located in a good area with good restaurants for a quick bite before or after.

Went to go see "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" here and this theater is the best AMC I've been to in NYC thus far. It was clean and seats were adjustable and comfortable. It is an Upper west side theater so I'm not surprised, even the restrooms were super clean. I did go during matinee hours on a Saturday so maybe it just hadn't gotten dirty yet. Overall my first experience here was positive and it will be my go to movie theater from now on.

It's on the smaller side for an AMC theater in the city, which I like because is usually far less crowded than other locations. However, it always feels rundown and in need of some tlc. The condition of the theater usually wouldn't be an issue for me, except that I'm still paying NYC movie prices there.
