Can't ask for more in a small town. Screen ain't all that big, but sound is exceptional. They show a few different movies in a weekend sometimes on their one screen. Follow them on Facebook to see showtimes.

It's good to visit the movie theatre in Socorro NM, my dad use to take me and my younger sister to watch movies when we were 10 and 08 years old. Thanks, it's changed a lot.. I loved watching Avengers: Endgame 3D with my son and daughter.

Its a nice theater.. I would be perfect if it had a center isle at top seating, or at both ends seats are a little snug.

The Loma has reopened with a modern digital projection system showing first run movies in 2D and 3D. The theater itself is in great physical shape and the new staff are friendly. I'll be happy to see any movie here rather than driving 50 miles to the next closest theater.

The new Loma Theater is a perfectly acceptable movie theater. The screen, projector and sound are all good. The concessions are reasonable in price compared with other theaters. The tickets are pretty cheap for students. The only minor problem with the theater is the ticketing area. It's very constrained, so arrive slightly earlier for a popular movie than you might otherwise.

So glad it's open again!! I have great memories of the place when I was young and so it's cool to have my kids go there. It needs upgrades but I'm sure those will come in time. Very affordable, super friendly staff and it's a part of history to me, again I'm so thankful it's open again. Thanks to all who made it possible!! Hope Socorroans give the place it's due support.

After sitting empty for years this theater had been upgraded with a state-of-the-art digital projector and reopened to sell-out crowds. Now showing first-run movies, including 3D films this theater offers the best top quality movie entertainment south of Los Lunas and north of Los Cruises.
