Now What?!

We drove from T or C to check out this theater. We were not disappointed.the staff was friendly. The lobby was clean and inviting. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. The theater was nice sized, the seats were comfortable and the sound was just right.

We have fallen in love with this little historic theater since moving to Silver City. It's a neat place. It's only one screen, but it's clean and staff is friendly and helpful. We look forward to going again and are grateful that they are here in Silver. Family fun! :)

Have been waiting for awhile to see a movie at the Silco Theater since its renovation. Got to enjoy 'Joker' and also some great popcorn. This is an old theater that through donations and hard work is once again entertaining film goers. You have the classic sidewalk ticket booth instead of the megaplex maze of traffic, parking, Indiana Jones search for you movie on screen 18! You pay, walk in. Turn right and you get the basics: popcorn (layered in butter), candie, drinks, etc. The basics to enjoy your movie, no need for a restaurant heavy menu. Perfect. There looked to be stairs to a balcony that were marked employees only. Through the doors there I as a quarter moon wall which has two bathrooms to your left. Walking in you see the old Indian art on the walls. Very nice sized screen and the sound is great. The theater has just enough seating to find your spot, not too big, not too small. I very much enjoyed my Silco Experience. Very friendly staff. Treat yourself and visit the Silco Theater in Silver City, New Mexico.

A small but great hometown movie theater. Family run with attention to details makes this a better choice over the corporate megaplexes. Food and ticket prices are more than reasonable. A downtown Silver City treasure.

I loved how they remodeled the theater. Very nice and clean. The concession was actually very well organized. Prices were not too bad...just wish they had more to offer...like hot dogs...cinnamon almonds..etc.

Man I was really impressed!!!! They only play 1 movie but that does not bother me they always have good movie coming and playing. Can't beet the price!!! Like seriously was like the same amount to order a movie to watch on ur tv... Happy movie watching!!!:)

This is one of those rare single screen theaters. They recently had a change in management. The showings are much better. The theater is cleaner. The snackbar is improving.

The Silco is a small local theater (it has only one showing room), but it's one of the only two theaters we've got at the moment. It can take a while for the latest movies to hit The Silco's screens, but be sure you'll have at least a decent movie-viewing experience if you go.

Delightfully retro. If you fancy yourself one who can only enjoy a film on the latest and greatest equipment, this isn't for you. All the employees were delightful. The concessions were comparable to other theaters and the facilities are well kept and clean. I had no qualms with the protection and sound. Enjoyable.
