Belated Mother's day present from my Son, to see the Avengers. Awesome movie, Quick service at the box office, no lines. Concession prices were pricey for a family. Seats were very comfortable. I liked that reclined and I could feel the vibration from the movie. Restrooms were clean but in the front lobby it wasn't easy for handicap accessible to the ladies restroom. Overall I will return.

All seating is assigned. That means when you buy a ticket, it is for a specific seat in the theater. This was new to me as far as movies go. The seats were recliners. That was comfortable. The show was sold out, I guess. We saw Bohemian Rhapsody which was excellent! Nice variety of snacks, including Star Bucks and ice cream.

Great visit and experience. Enjoyed the many options of snacks with quick service. Comfortable seats with great picture and sound. To be honest, we did have an unfortunate situation here. However, the manager was quick to be found and adress the situation. It was handled very professionally. I would have rated this place five stars, but the bathrooms were definitely not being cleaned. Use the bathroom before you go and you'll have a great and fun visit!

This was a horrible experience for me and my friend, my friend sat down and there was vomit on his chair, it got all over his arm and shirt. We had bought a bunch of snacks and they went straight to the trash and we left. They did give us our money back but regardless but it was a horrible experience. I recommend they have their workers check the seats more often.

There are many theatres here in town, but I would recommend this one. The theatre is in a very convenient area, the employees are friendly and helpful. The theatre is always very clean, especially the restrooms. The cost of the items at the snack bar seem a bit excessive.

IMHO, this is the best movie theater in town! I know there's places with bigger screens, or with beer and wine, but I think Century Rio is the best. They have so many movie options, they have the biggest and most comfortable recliners, they do free refills on the large sodas and popcorns, it's all reserved seating, and Tuesdays are discount day. When blockbusters come out and I want to take the wife and all 4 kids, I can't afford $12 a ticket opening night...but I can swing $6 a ticket on tuesdays. I've tried all the rest around town, but I just think that from now on, I'm sticking with Century Rio!

The place is huge, so the lines are always short at concession...but my FAVORITE part is the awesome new automatic reclining chairs with stadium seating. Noones head is in your way & those chairs really complete the ecperience.

We went to the 3D Godzilla movie with the special Dbox (?) Seats. These are the seats that move and rumble with the movie. These seats were really cool. For instance, when the characters were in a helicopter, the seats vibrated and tilted. There was an extra $9 fee per ticket for the seats so I'm not sure they are really worth the cost but they did add to the movie. Would reserve these seats for action movies. The seats were comfy, roomy and reclined. Concession stand had alot to offer but there was a bit of a line to check out. Overall, I like this theater. In the past, they had a problem with car break ins. Not sure if this still happens, so I would make sure nothing is visible that might tempt thieves.

I don't go to see movies very often, and hadn't been to this theatre in several years. I was pleasantly surprised to see they have adopted the practice of assigned seating (common in parts of Europe over 20 years ago) and big lounge chairs. Quite comfy, and helps to block out sounds from other audience members. And a senior discount to boot!

Very nice theater. Plenty of room between rows, was not dirty and the temperature inside was just right. We didn't feel like we were in a icebox. The staff was friendly except when I told one of the concessions personnel that the ice tea machine was pouring only water, no matter which one was chosen, he shrugged his shoulders and said it was "a bummer and not his job to fix it" Well in my opinion, if you're running a register at concessions, buddy it is your job to notify someone it is not working properly.

The first movie I remember that i saw in that theater was Pulp Fiction when it came out in 1994. Great classic I watch at least once a year. I thnk Rio 24 was built just before that year. It was a drive through at one time and then that happened.

Nice theater. You'll always find what you want to watch at a convenient time. Of course as with most theaters confessions are priced super high. Decent arcade area. The D-Box powered seats are some of the best lounge seats in Albuquerque. Very comfortable and adjustable with the push of a button.

I paid $50 dollars for 2 seats and waited to get in and when I finally got in after staff supposed cleaned the the theater.. my seat was covered with strawberry ice cream as was the floor. Covered with pop corn. Bathroom we're discusting. I tracked all that nastyness in to my new car.. wasn't for the movie being so good. I would have to call it the worst experience I ever had!

Love watching movies here! On Tuesdays they have $5.95 movie tickets and that's cheap. To make it better if your a at&t or DirecTV customer you get that price for 2 people, so 2 for 1. That's awesome. I live the reclining seats and all the awesome popcorn. Love coming here! People are friendly and helpful and glad they accept mobile ticket. Also, you have great dining spots in the surrounding vicinity. So a great location.

I had not been to this complex in several years. They installed recliners and it was quite comfortable. You will need to buy seats ahead of time in order to sit where you want unless the movie has been out a couple of weeks or more.complex is very neat and clean. Staff is also very good. You can enjoy here very well. A good time with family and friends. You can enjoy here

The fact that the seats have footrests was cool, but the concession area felt unsanitary and hectic. Slushies are 'serve your own', which makes for a very sticky machine, cup sizes are not clearly labeled, the line is unclear, and it's incredibly loud. Our popcorn was cold, and I've had better popcorn, even cold, from my local theater. The movie itself took nearly forty minutes of previews to start. I was ready for the movie to be over before it had even begun, I was so sick of previews. The only reason I'll be going back is a special showing I plan to see with my brother.

Theaters are very nice, especially the lounger type seating. My biggest issue is that the folks who wear gloves to serve popcorn aren’t trained on why they wear gloves. It turned me off on ordering popcorn when the person wearing the gloves wipes sweat of their forehead and then starts shoveling popcorn with the same hand. The theaters themselves though are nice and comfortable.

this is the Mega Movie Theater complex, it's got a food court that if you're up noxiously hungry will satisfy your need for calories. Did you have ice cream that's worth to taste. Everything else is the epitome of fast food. The theaters are nice, modern, clean and give a very good movie viewing experience. They have this obnoxious no CCW weapons on the door policy so I will not be back.

I was sitting in my comfy recliner about to start watching a movie and pondered... "why have i not reviewed this awesome movie theater!?!" I have been coming to this branch of theaters for a couple of years and just so happy with them! any of their theaters fit the budget you need! I am part of their movie club and it is the best out there!! ALWAYS have rewards i can redeem or just the discounted tickets! I've tried other theaters but they are so out for all your money and charge so much! Cinemark is still reasonable and can actually make going to the movies a regular thing! I have had some issues with buying wrong seats or just being able to make it and they are SO ACCOMMODATING! Whether refunding my tickets or giving me tickets to another time, its always been so great! I will forever choose Cinemark and this theater is one of their best! So many options to choose your entertainment needs! SUPER friendly staff!

The movies are great as are the recling chairs but it was so messy there was popcorn all over the floors and trash in the seats from the previous customers. The bathrooms were also very messy and gross. Please clean after every movie and empty the trash as well. It was over flowing

Our go to theater. Love the atmosphere and comfortable seating. The rewards program is reasonable if you're a frequent movie goer. Has gaming and good food. The soft pretzel bites to fast but are amazing. Offers comfortable seating, clean bath rooms and friendly employees. Recommend getting to any showing early. Seating is first come first serve. Or buy tickets online.

Amazing! A little chaotic in the "do it yourself" snack area, but other than that amazing. The leather reclining seats are incredibly comfortable and the whole theater was very clean. My three year old thought the seats were the coolest thing ever. The big screens we're very clear and huge! And the sound was great! Not too loud or too quiet. I am from Colorado and the movie prices here are super cheap compared to plain, crappy theaters there. Loved it! We are here in NM once a month and will definitely be returning!

Expensive but easily the biggest and most comfortable theatre for new releases in Albuquerque. Their main big (XD?) screens have the lazy-boy recliner style seats (with fully extending leg rests!) that are hard to go without after you try them. Like watching a movie in the comfort of your own living room

Horrible customer service. I had to leave for an emergency i stopped at customer service and asked if i could get another showing. The manager (short lady with tons of makeup) didnt even look up. "Once you buy a ticket we cannot do anything " really. Are you kidding me! Not like i ate a whole meal and then asked for a refund. I understand if its going to be a NO. Just use some customer service skills. Now guess what im not going back to spend 30 to 50 bucks on snacks. Good job manager!

I went to watch Aladdin last week on a busy movie night,we got sold tickets that were for handicap (without being request),no seats,just an empty space to put the wheelchair on ,my husband and I didn't understand what was going on, however the manager came and said he could get us different seats, when he checked he said everything was sold out, except for some single seats,very far away from each other ,and on 3D screen, I told him I was willing to accept the seats ,when he said I had to pay $11 extra for those tickets! I told him to give me my money back and we left! First it wasn't our fault the ppl who sells the tickets don't know if the seats are for handicap or not,second I think I wouldn't have to pay extra because they made a mistake! Poorly managed ,very disappointed!

Rio 24 is a great theater! These people really do work hard to help us enjoy our movie experiences. We should all remember to say "thank you" to these young people. If you have never worked at a movie theater, especially if your a young adult, I would suggest it. I did so temporarily before moving to New Mexico. It was lots of fun. I hope to attend one of the special film themes like the Studio Ghibli films. Try one yourself and post your experience.

By far my favorite theater in town. All seats a recliners and that is nice and all seats are purchased by reservation (at the window or online) so you know at time of purchase if your seats are to your liking. The only issue with this process is that you sort of need to know in advance if you are going to the movie - especially the popular or new releases. There might not be a line at the ticket window but the theater could be sold out online. Just get the Cinemark app and pick your seats ahead of time. Enjoy!

I really enjoy going here on weeknights when it is not so busy. I've noticed there is a lot of Staff that has been working here for a while, which to me seems like they treat their employees well. The aforementioned staff is always pleasant and courteous. The seats are comfortable and the aisles are usually kept pretty clean. It's a madhouse on the weekend and I hardly go to this theatre when it is the weekend, but it's not unbearable. I've had a few incidents over the years when I've had to return tickets or get a refund for a bad print* (*very rare), but the Management always accommodates without question. The presentation is always very good. I sometimes wish their concession stands, where the auditoriums are, were manned fully all the time, but I get that it's not always feasible.

We love this theather. If it's a new movie, you need to buy tickets online preferably a day before. If your wanting to go to discount Tuesday for a new movie DEFINITELY get tickets a day before, maybe even two. All the showtimes for new movies on discount Tuesday will be completely full except for a few single seats.

Before living in Albuquerque, there were times where I would schedule a day to just to come down and visit this movie theater. What can I honestly say about it? This cineplex is absolutely massive; hands down the largest in the State of New Mexico. Boasting 24 screens and encompassing I don't even know how many acres of property. Rio 24 is truly the premier place to watch any new blockbuster release. Some things I like about this theater include: wide-open parking space, economic ticket prices, an easy DIY concession stand, and relaxing leather reclining chairs. In addition, employees have always been friendly to me during my many visits and despite the age of the facility, it's still very well kept and clean. It's also important to keep in mind as I have over the years. That if there is any type of new mega-blockbuster movie that is jam-packing theaters and proving difficult to acquire tickets for. You can usually count on Rio 24 on having some type of availability for you, even on opening weekends. Having such a multitude of screens comes in handy; which can result in some films being featured nearly every 45 minutes (new releases). The City of Albuquerque is fortunate to the Century Rio 24 Movie Plex. It provides its residents with a reliable and consistent place to enjoy a movie. A place I hope is able to maintain its current standard as I wish it to remain open for a long time to come.

Its a really nice place. Reserved reclining seats, really nice inside, and their rewards app is pretty great. Tuesdays they already have discounts on tickets for about $5, and the app gives you points and discounts on the refreshments too. If you're not using discounts, its pretty expensive for everything. They do more with the app compared to Icon Cinema, and they don't use the app at all even though it's a Cinema. There's plenty of parking, but the spots are just too small. And a lot of people suck at parking so they end up taking 2 spaces. But the parking in general has a very small space. It's compact and extremely tight, so I suppose it's understandable for people to park in 2 spots. Its a huge parking lot though, so I dont know why they dont just make the spaces normal instead of super tight. Either way, this theater is really good on everything else and worth going to.

With some newer, fancier movie theaters in town, Century Rio has had to step up their game. With reclining, leather seats the size of an expensive la--z-boy the days of fighting over a shared armrest and being kicked in the back by the person behind you are long gone. They have also implemented pre-selecting your seat when you buy your ticket, so the days of hoping you don't get stuck in a bad seat have also give by the wayside. While still not a fan of the prices and concession scenario, if you're looking for a nice place to see a movie, stop on in.

Call me outdated, but I am shocked at the cost of going to a new movie in a Cineplex. I'd just as soon wait for most movies to show up in the dollar theatre. Yeah, the seats at a Cineplex are super comfy and all, but I don't care for "reserving" seats when you buy your tickets - it can really hold up the line when someone is indecisive or confused. And why they even have front row seats, which are too close to the screen to be able to even see the movie, is beyond me!

I love this theater! The popcorn has kind of a sweet flavor in it. And the seats reclin. And they have more 3D times then at any other theater. I would go to a theatre closer by are house if other theaters weren't stupid and would actually show MORE 3D times. Awesome experience at the century 24!

The theater we were in was small and we got stuck up front. But the seat reclined and it was still comfortable. They have security in the parking lot too, which is good.

Always a great theater to go to. Concessions are expensive but that's to be expected at any movie theater. The staff is always helpful and we have never had any issues with movie or sound quality. Nice location but it can be easy to lose it when coming from the highway.

It is always a great experience at this Cinema. It is cool because everyone is usually really helpful. The seats are really comfortable. I have watched plenty of movies here and it is good every time and the theatre makes the movies more enjoyable.

My 8yr old and I went to watch Toy Story 4, kinda on a whim, and it was a pleasant cinema experience overall. There are 24 movie screens, which is helpful when new releases arrive. They will show most featured films in many theaters simultaneously, which allows f many various showtimes. Also increases the likelihood of watching what you planned to see. I never enjoyed opting for a different movie cuz tickets were sold out for all showings. Snacks r expensive but we already know. But hey, seats r super comfy.

One of the best theaters in Albuquerque! Clean, comfy seats, and absolutely awesome how they play old movies for their anniversary! Especially Alien! I had such a blast here and it was such a treat to see Alien for the 40th anniversary! Very professional and friendly staff here at this location. I will definitely be back!

It was a good experience. We signed up for their rewards program. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The popcorn was fresh and delicious. The seat are very comfortable which makes the whole movie enjoyable.

The new recliners are awesome. Combined with the Cinemark subscription app thing, you get $8 tickets and %20 off of concessions. Pretty much the only reason I still see movies in movies theaters.

Bought tickets online, went inside the theater and didn't have a problem. Just went and bought fresh popcorn and a drink.Customer service was great as we entered into the movie halls. No issues or fuss. I needed some assistance at customer service, so I went back out into the open area. Customer service was near the entrance. I requested for a pair of head phones for the hearing impaired. The lady and manager were very kind to assist with one. They were very kind and helpful. The manager even helped set up the head phones inside the movie. Very respectful I might add. The seating was great. No crying babies!! No issues, my family and I enjoyed our movie

This theatre is ok. The snack area is always very sticky and not as clean as I would like. The bathrooms are old and the locks don’t work on many of the stalls. However, the actual theatres are nice as they have been updated and it is one of the few places in town that offers reserved reclining seats.
