I'm coming to Carlsbad from a much larger city so my comparison may be skewed a bit, but they could offer a bit more on the concession, the multiple soda fountain is a good upgrade. Maybe a late late show 11:15 start. I am an avid movie watcher so I will make do (or drive to Roswell)

The last time I went they didn't have the movies that were supposed to be out. If they were to get up to date movies in my opinion would help but there was only one movie that was new the others been there four or five days and the other had been there almost 2 weeks please update your movie selection. I just hope they get more up to date movies soon and when there supposed to be out......:(

Currently under construction. The men's bathroom is in a trailer outside. However, it's the only theatre in Carlsbad, and it's gonna be pretty nice when it's done.

The seats are actually comfortable. That's what usually keeps me from theaters, with back and neck issues i can't sit very long. The seats here made it possible to sit thru a 2 &1\2 hr movie.

We stay 1.5 hours away from the theater and we paid for pur tickets online which was $1 extra per ticket. We get to the theater and we had to wait in the same line with the people who were paying cash to get our ticket printed out. When we finally got our tickets. There weren't any good seats available.

Newly remodeled seats are much more comfortable still could have put a little more money into it and it would have went a long way. The only complaint I really have is not many options for snacks and what they did offer they were out of or the cheese machine was down so was a little disappointed..

They are still renovating...while the seats are newer than before...most r recycled from another theater. That being said...they now have 6 theaters instead of 3 and are able to get most new movies sooner. Employees seem to be nice enough and willing to help if needed. Prices are comparable to most other theaters...

I paid online was never notified of its confirmation or told to pick tickets up for the movie I was told I get no refund for yesterday's showings I live in Alamo was here taking my boyfriend to his doctors appointment we were unable to make it and the tickets are only good here and then referred me to cooperate which doesn't even state that on the answering machine it's 18 dollars I'm like ugh why even open if you can run a business

It's a bit small but it's expected for a small town. The service was good, friendly, and I would recommend this place. Then again I think it is the only movie theater you can go to. Either way it is a good place to visit and enjoy the latest movies.

Theater is pretty nice seats are nice and rock back for comfort as well. I gave it 4 stars because the movie we watched was sold out so was little tight with arm room and legroom I'm 6'4 260 so that might just be my problem:)

It was OK.... NOT GREAT- the chairs weren't very comfortable (which is ABSOLUTELY a MUST when u go to the movie theater) Next time we'll definitely drive to Roswells movie theater.

It's a good size theater. The staff are friendly. The seats are nice and comfortable. They also lean back. I just wish the sizes of popcorn were a bigger. They have bags and not the buckets.

I have always the our movie theater and the people there are always friendly and it's even better now now that they have refurbished it the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars tho is because there food and drink prices are ridiculously high other than that everything is great

They couldn't get movie to start on time, very late start. They first played second half of movie for quite awhile... after several complaints they finally started movie over from the beginning. I look forward to the opportunity to replace this post with a more positive one.

Nice theatre, decent prices. The bathroom doesn't have paper towels and it was dirty, but that was because of the other people at the show. I've seen the latest two Star Wars movies at the Allen Theaters La Cueva 6 in Carlsbad.

Went to Allen Theater in Carlsbad today (12/8) We had 4 generations of family to watch The Grinch. The ads prior to the movie included a women singing a song in her underwear saying I want you to ruin my life. And an underwear commercial showing adults in very tight underwear. Not what I wanted my 83 yo mother in law or my 2 yo granddaughter watching. Shame on you Allen theaters.
